And that’s the lot!
So to round it all up, here’s a quick recap of my standouts from the last year or so of collections, and what’s still on my mind to get me through this winter.
It was hard to choose how many to limit myself to. A top 50? Too much, a whole post on its own. But a top 20? That’s not enough.
So signing off, in no particular order, here are my top 25 from F/W23 all the way up to S/S24, in time for the start of the FW24 collections we’ll be seeing over the next few weeks!
Schiaparelli EVERYTHING: Is it any surprise Schiaparelli is on the list? Alll the fashion girlies atm are obsessed with everything Schiaparelli does, and how could you not be? Daniel Roseberry’s designs are intricate, luxurious, dramatic, and consistently ahead of the game in terms of creativity. Nobody is doing it like him right now, and for that reason, his pieces are instantly recognisable.
Tumblr media
-clockwise L-R: Schiaparelli RTW S/S24, haute couture F/W23, S/S23, Fendi haute couture F/W23, S/S23, Schiaparelli RTW F/W23-
2. Fendi Haute Couture F/W23 and S/S23: Fendi’s Haute Couture collections never disappoint me. Time and time again, Kim Jones offers us her elegant take on glitzy femininity, balancing glamour with soft, ethereal colour palettes, silhouettes and fabrics. This year, she’s given us the red carpet iteration of balletcore (which is an aesthetic I never saw coming or thought of but am obsessed with btw) and for that, I am forever thankful.
Tumblr media
-clockwise L-R: Dilara Fındıkoğlu RTW F/W23, Ambush RTW S/S23, F/W23, S/S23, S/S24, Chopona Lowena RTW S/S24, Di Petsa RTW S/S24, Roberto Cavalli RTW S/S24, Yuhan Wang RTW F/W23, Moschino RTW F/W23, Rave Review RTW S/S24, Yuhan Wang RTW S/S24, Roberto Cavalli RTW F/W23, Di Petsa RTW F/W23,  Ermanno Scervino RTW S/S24-
3. Dilara Fındıkoğlu RTW F/W23: Dilara’s ethereal, post-apocalyptic take on grunge delivers everyyy, singleee time! As if I didn’t wish I had Bella Hadid’s life enough already (minus having Yolanda “have a couple of almonds and chew them really well” Hadid as a mother), she then stepped out in that DF custom set and my envy increased tenfold.
4. Ambush EVERYTHING: The way Yoon Ahn’s styles the garments she designs under her label Ambush is the end result I’m trying to achieve whenever I actually make an effort in putting together an outfit these days, as rare as that is atm. Yes, at it’s core, the brand embraces a street wear-friendly version of the grunge aesthetic (I know, I use the word grunge to death but my love for that way of dressing will never die! I lived one full year in the 90s and I’m going to milk being a 90s baby only in the very literal sense for all it’s worth!) But through that lens Yoon plays with a number of other trends, from techwear to the academia-influenced styling craze, and has all that fun incorporating elements from those avenues, whilst retaining the edge that underlies her vision of the brand. The level of flexibility she manages to display without compromising the Ambush blueprint is exactly what makes Yoon’s collections a reliable source of outfit inspiration for those of us who have a strong attachment to one particular style but like to take cues from whichever other aesthetic is dominating the trend cycle at that moment too.
5. Chopona Lowena RTW S/S24: Cutesy ‘90s inspired grunge? Bloody love it. Which reminds me that I should reiterate, NO you don't get a pound every time I say grunge. Not in this economy:(
6. Di Petsa RTW F/W23 & S/S24: I was lucky enough to see a Di Petsa piece in person at the Design Museum’s Alexander McQueen sponsored REBEL: 30 Years of London Fashion exhibition, and yes, it was as perfectly sculpted to the mannequin as her pieces are to the models who wear them on the runway IRL. Dimitra Petsa is a little bit of a genius I think. She’s so clearly fuelled by an appreciation of the divine feminine energy of women in the sense which we originally started using the term rather than the way we mostly use it now which is more often than not sardonically to justify our bedrotting days (which I’m totally on board with btw because performing femininity is fucking exhausting tehe), meaning her designs highlight the raw, stripped back power and beauty of the female body and everything it does without us even having to try. Di Petsa’s collections give the world a much needed reminder of the strength and grace of women whatever size or shape we are, and shows us that we don’t need to A). have some otherworldly power or B). Get a shit tonne of filler and plastic surgery to emulate the goddesses of both today’s and yesteryear’s standards.
7. Roberto Cavalli RTW F/W23 & S/S24: Fausto Puglisi treads carefully along the line separating bold and gaudy with his take on Cavalli but both the RTW collections were fucking phenomenal this year, taking it back to at a time when Coachella fashion was at the peak of cultural relevance, and what a TIME to be alive that was.
8. Yuhan Wang RTW F/W23 & S/S24: Take something bit granny chic, a bit little girlish, a couple of pieces from a motorcycle gang and throw it all together, and you get that signature Yuhan Wang look. To quote Liam Hess’ review for Vogue Runway of Yang’s RTW S/S24 collection: "Yuhan Wang’s vision of femininity may appear delicate on the surface, but it’s always undercut with something steelier and a little dangerous." Yah. He said it much better than I can. That's why he writes for Vogue and I talk to myself on here, lol.
9. Moschino RTW F/W23: Glitzy, opulent, old-Hollywood infused punk? Consider me obsessed.
10. Rave Review RTW S/S24: SoOoo glad to finally see a collection from the pioneers of chintzy grunge (I’m sorry but what other word can I use?!) on the runway. See, I make the distinction between Rave Review, Chopona Lowena and Yuhan Wang because Rave Review, in the best way possible, excel at a creating pre-loved feel to their collections. That isn’t to say it looks like the shit no one wants. It looks like the wardrobe of the coolest girl you know who can spend an afternoon browsing her local charity stores, the evening in front of her sewing machine, and by the morning can produce some up-cycled magic that you wish you had the talent to create yourself. I want to be that girl! I’m just a sewing machine and few decent charity shops in my local area short but trust and believe I’m working on it, lol!
11. Ermanno Scervino RTW S/S24: How very high-end LoveShackFancy of Ermanno Scervino to give us this Y2K style Bohemian dream and then refine it in line with the whole “stealth wealth/clean girl” minimalism craze that had such a chokehold over 2023 (and which I hope we leave behind, for the sake of its racist undertones if nothing else). Taken to either end of the spectrum, as in pink frilly floral overkill or an endless cycle of shapeless neutrals, I’m beginning to get a bit worn out with both but the meeting of the two here with the pops of colour in the embroidery was something magical, a beautiful partnership<3
Tumblr media
-clockwise L-R: pre-fall 2023, RTW F/W23, resort 2024, RTW S/S24-
12. David Koma EVERYTHING: Beyond slept on and idk why! This man was behind Mugler for several years, which is one of my alll time favourite brands, and I think it’s safe to say a staple for many. So where is the buzz about his solo offering? Idk. It is strange because I feel like his collections share a lot of the attributes (y2k feel, hyper-feminine, sex appeal, a bit of edge, overall bit of a Bratz doll vibe if ygm?) as Blumarine and everyone is head over heels for that? So yeah, I truly don’t know. Maybe it’s not luxury enough? I’ve never really cared about that. You don’t get much more luxury than a Hermes Birkin and yet I think they’re dull as dishwater and no one can convince me otherwise regardless of how much a status symbol they’ve become. Maybe it’s my youth, maybe I’d feel differently if I too was a real housewife of Beverly Hills but yeah, give me David Koma over Hermes any day.
Tumblr media
-clockwise L-R: Diesel resort 2024, pre-fall 2023, pre-fall 2024, RTW F/W23, S/S24-
13. Diesel EVERYTHING: Wow, Diesel must be the no.1 contender for fashion house comeback of the 2020s so far. And it’s what’s deserved for a name as cool as Diesel, I mean, it is so simple but so good!
As far as I’m concerned Diesel had been relegated to the leagues of the higher price mark section of the Next catalogue for the past decade and yet the past couple of fashion weeks their shows have arguably been amongst the most anticipated. I feel like I’ve said sexy biker grunge or some combination of these 3 words too many times in this post already but look, it’s kind of like the aspirational aesthetic of choice for me minus the sexy part and add in a girlier, more dainty strain of femininity instead bc I do not have the body nor the bone structure or the RHYTHM to have sex appeal. I was built with the body that’s giving little boy at its lowest possible weight and chubby baby at its highest so yay. The sexy thing isn't gonna happen for me, I’m at peace with that, lmao.
Tumblr media
-clockwise L-R: Erdem pre-fall 2024, RTW S/S24, pre-fall 2023, RTW F/W23, resort 2024-
14. Erdem EVERYTHING: Genuine question here, would Erdem Moralioglu's work be fitting of what Gen Z mean when they talk about whimsy goth or am I way off-base? Honestlyyy, I’m so out of the loop when it comes to this phenomenon of coding everything and idk if I like it because tbh, it seems like it’s only accelerated the pace of fast fashion. Once TikTok has put a label on aesthetic, it starts getting manufactured cheaply en masse and within a matter of weeks, everyone is fatigued and moves right onto the next craze of X/Y/Z “core”. Like apparently mob wife core is a thing now? Kill me FR. When I hear that all I think of is Teresa Giudice flipping a table and calling Danielle Staub "prostitution whore".
Sorry, I'm getting wildly off-topic here, back to whimsy goth…I don’t know what the TikTok/Pinterest certified cues for that vibe are, but within my understanding of the word, it’d be something like this? Because romantic, gothic, elegant, and eurgh, I hate this term, but also like, badass. Essentially, Erdem's dark dramatic touches constitute what I think of as the gothic part and the former adjectives contribute the whimsical part. Anyways, yah, sorry I had to say the word badass. I’m now thinking I could’ve more accurately summarised my understanding of whimsy goth by saying steampunk Disney princess, lol. It pained me to type especially because we don’t really say ass in England, but badARSE sounds really awkward and yeah, let's just move on...
Tumblr media
-clockwise L-R: Zimmerman resort 2023, RTW S/S23, F/W23, S/S24, resort 2024-
15. Zimmerman EVERYTHING: I feel like the two opposing sides of the coin representing my personal style are in such stark contrast to one another because yes, one the one hand, I will always be obsessed with that whole forbidden g-word ‘90s look but I also do adore the whole flower power vibe, and for me, Zimmerman does that perfectly. This is to say, essentially, it leans subtly enough in that direction that you can still imagine a Zimmerman dress looking gorgeous with a big, vintage oversized coat, clunky boots, and dark makeup if you get me? There is one particular FKA Twigs look I’m thinking of as I type this, iykyk. But yeah, I never don’t love a collection from them, hence the inclusion on this list!
Tumblr media
16. Jacquemus RTW F/W23: Speaking of clunky boots…Can you IMAGINE one of the little white dresses from this collection with some black platform Doc Martens and a black velvet choker or corsage? Like to reference Courtney Love for what is probably the millionth time, this would be the dream outfit inspired by her, however much of a groupie that makes me sound.
On a side note, Jacquemus’ S/S24 collection only came out, like, last week which is why it wasn’t included in the post but I can’t lie…it is a hugeee step down from this. The disappointment echoes my feelings the new Gucci collection, only I guess I can hold onto the hope this is just a meh year for Jacquemus rather than the loss of another absolutely legendary creative spark. Yeah, Alessandro Michele I miss u xx
Tumblr media
-top to bottom: Le Fame pre-fall 2023, RTW S/S24-
17. Le Fame EVERYTHING: I only found out about Le Fame, Miss Sohee, Sultry Virgin etc. through HF Twitter (yeah, X is never catching on) and I feel indignant that only a handful of those are on Vogue Runway. Look when it comes to my A-Zs, if I find anything I like in a collection, I will include it, even if it’s nothing groundbreaking in my eyes. Because range, you know? But amongst the standouts from a collection, the rest can be really fucking drab, and yet the brand makes the top of the Vogue feed regardless, purely based on reputation. Yet Le Fame gets tumbleweeds. Where is the justice for Shanghai Fashion Week? ALL the non-western centric fashion weeks for that matter. WHY has ShuShu/Tong only just got a place on the Vogue Runway archive? I mean, it’s bad all round but the erasure of Shanghai FW in particular bothers me because western fashion is so clearly influenced by East Asian fashion and atm it’s just like we capitalise on it without paying our dues (shocker).
Tumblr media
-clockwise L-R: Rahul Mishra haute couture F/W23, S/S23, Giambattista Valli haute couture F/W23, S/S23-
18. Rahul Mishra Haute Couture S/S23 & F/W23: Whilst we're on the topic, thank god for HF Twitter for alerting me to yet another designer ignored until very recently by Western fashion critics. Don’t get me wrong, I like a bit of Elie Saab as much as the next girly girl but every collection lately has been more of the same, risk-free and repetitive. You look at Rahul Mishra, and instantly, you can see just how much work and passion goes into his designs. The end results are that these dresses are utterly ETHEREAL. I have been seeing more talk about RM lately and his collections have recently started being covered by Vogue. I hope this acknowledgment continues!
19. Giambattista Valli Haute Couture F/W23 & S/S23: The princessiest (yeah, that’s a word now) of princess dresses. OFC GV makes it on this list. For the sake of my inner child, if not anything else, who thought that a job in the fashion industry was actually achievable and that wearing a dress like this one day was within my reach. The little me who didn’t know what nepotism even meant, this is for you.
Tumblr media
20. Selkie RTW S/S24: So I wouldn’t usually include Selkie in a fashion week post as maybe, for reasons stemming from my own prejudices, I assume anything I have ever been able to afford at any point in my life does not count as high fashion. But the Selkie show for this season, imo, truly epitomised what is supposed to be the whole point of fashion which is to translate our inner beauty to outer beauty on our own terms, in a way that makes us feel empowered and the most magnificent version of ourselves. Selkie speaks to the playful feminine spirit within me, and to see women of all sizes, ethnicities, ages, and abilities looking absolutely enchanting made me feel hopeful for a day when I don’t still feel like the only version of myself that is worthy of being “perceived” (lmao) is the one who still owned that beautiful, tiny Selkie dress, who has to punish and deprive their body to fit into it! Seeing this runway on Twitter gave me a degree of faith that this future where I feel confident and comfortable in my recovered body does exist. So yeah. I had to include it here:)
Tumblr media
-top to bottom: Shushu/Tong RTW S/S24, F/W23-
21. Shushu/Tong RTW F/23 & S/S24: I hate to introduce new material at such a late stage but I was choosing my favourite looks from ShuShu/Tong’s S/S24 collection and just thought, I want more! So I did some Googling and managed to find the F/W23 collection too! And it’s just as stunning as S/S24. This is why it’s such a calamity that we don’t get more Shanghai FW coverage, I s2g.
Tumblr media
-clockwise L-R: Philosophy di Lorenzo Serafini RTW S/S24, Cult Gaia resort 2024, Dominnico RTW F/W23, Zuhair Murad haute couture F/W23-
22. Zuhair Murad Haute Couture F/W23: Okay so obvs the S/S23 couture collection was gorg and lush too buut holy shit, the gothic touches of F/W23 took things to another level for me!
23. Dominnico RTW F/W23: If Sam Levinson decides to have Maddy Perez go through a kawaii-influenced cyberpunk phase and then become a dominatrix in season 3 of Euphoria (and let’s be real, equally nonsensical things have happened on that show), this is what her character should be wearing in keeping with her personal style. Niche, I know. Just please, for the love of god, make her come of age first. I have no time for that man’s insistence on sexualising minors. Justice for Barbie Ferrera and Kat Hernandez, honestly.
24. Cult Gaia Resort 2024: Is it…mermaid core?
And lastly…
25. Philosophy di Lorenzo Serafini RTW S/S24: He made layers SEXY.
Honourable mentions go to a few brands I plan to focus on anyway over my next couple of posts (another In the Front Row at…kinda post, and also little 2023 Pt.2 Recap) so I won’t go overboard yapping on about them here too, but to summarise a few points:
I was pleasantly surprised by Maria Grazia Chiurui’s work at Dior this past year? IDK if it’s just that my expectations of Dior based on the collections we’ve seen over the previous few years have set the bar really low, but almost all of it was super pretty. Maria has garnered a reputation for being all quantity and no quality, which is fair enough, however I truly think we saw both this year. So maybe this is all to say…Dior gets the Most Improved award?
Alessandro Michele’s final Gucci RTW collection was full of showstoppers and honestly, I don’t know how Sabato De Sarno is supposed to follow on from that. His Gucci S/S24 was nice enough and probably more in keeping with the brand's old school aesthetic but the character Alessandro brought to the brand is gone and I feel like a little part of me has died along with that. I don’t know what to feel because his version of the brand is the brand in my eyes, at this point, like he resuscitated it and nourished it and got people excited enough about it to reestablish Gucci's place at the precipice of high fashion, and yet seeing S/S24 I feel that artistic flair is gone. If I’m being optimistic, maybe De Sarno is just playing the long game and that, in going back to basics, his aim is to create a point of reference he can build upon over time to develop his own equally bold vision of luxury. Let’s say Sabato De Sarno gets the Person I Most Hope Will Improve award.
Finally, in the absence of Michele’s Gucci and on the back of another year of incredible collections, I think I can finally say…Rokh, you’re my new number one.
To conclude, though, that’s enough from me! I’ve already done way too much chatting shite for a photo post. If I start talking about anything else now, it’ll surely end up as some rant about the state of the world which will inevitably be coming soon, anyway, so for now all I have to say is 1. Free Palestine and 2. I hope anyone reading this is doing otherwise okay notwithstanding the horrific levels of injustice occurring, i.e the abhorrent displays of solidarity with a government perpetrating war crimes by many Western “democratic" leaders. Even when we knew they were awful before, seeing this situation play out is devastating. Be kind to yourself. All we can do some days is get by and that’s okay. To exist in a place where our lives are not constantly at threat is in itself a beautiful thing that everyone deserves, and I know most of us appreciate that and want that for everyone else too.
With that, I’ll say goodbye and will be posting again soon.

The hotel resort was somewhat a good place for anyone to laid back, relax and enjoy a pleasurable time out in the tropical setting. Though, the blonde’s presence at the lavish place was somewhat a very stark contrast to the rather perfect, pristine scenario. She was heading out from the blue beach waters, carrying a surfboard along with her after hitting the waves, feeling much refreshed with her scene. The hotel was glitzy and glamorous, quite the place for anyone to enjoy. One look at the girl in her blue bikini and everyone would know that she was very much out of place here. But she was here, not on her own accord, but mostly due to a hookup with a friendly acquaintance. Another perk of this now, would be that the beach Bella was hitting up was a private beach, accessible only to guests of the hotel resort. Hence why she was more than happy to hit the beach in her blue bikini, cutting the waters with ease, as she walked up to the umbrella where the man was waiting on her. “Hey.” She chuckled, sticking the board in the sand and stood in front of him. “Whatcha looking at?”

My Jack Harkness Playlist
Hello, everyone, and welcome to the post where I explain my Jack Harkness playlist and how my (currently) 73 songs relate to him and his life!
This will be a long post. Spoilers for Torchwood, and for the audio Mighty and Despair. You have been warned.
Also the songs are mostly in chronological order of his life events.
Also sorry for the inconsistency between lengths of descriptions for each song. I was determined to finish it all in one night, but I got tired and started using less effort to explain. Took me over two hours to make in the end. If you have any questions, I’d love to elaborate on my feelings for any of the songs!!
So, here we go!
1. Jack’s Love Theme
(this is such a beautiful theme) Ever since a young age, Jack has expressed love deeply, loved everyone with his whole heart. Until his heart gets broken by his guilt at the loss of Gray and he keeps everyone at a little more of a distance, and further down the road after that, keeps everyone at a distance because he is immortal. For Jack, love and life are the two constants
2. No Roses by The Builders and The Butchers
For this, I have @ultraviolet-eucatastrophe to thank! This is an amazing song for Jack’s childhood, losing Gray, and in general his relationship with Gray and I love it a lot.
3. American Healthcare (Glitzy) by Penelope Scott
The lyrics to this give me the feeling of being stressed and traumatized but joking about it because it’s the only thing you can do. Wanting to help people and keep people alive but realizing that everything is corrupted. This brings to mind Jack in the Time Agency years to me.
4. You Sexy Thing by Hot Chocolate
This is a very simple song that I believe showcases Jack’s tendency and ability to charm anyone he meets.
5. YES MOM by Tessa Violet
This is a song that encapsulates Jack’s vibe in the Time Agency. He loves himself (or at least pretends he does). He can be his own hype man. If not doing terrible, he’s at least doing well compared to later.
6. Weak by AJR
Jack being a lot like John in these days, drinking, partying, drugs, the whole lot. Sure, it’s bad for him, but he doesn’t care. Not enough to do anything about it.
7. I Lost My Heart To A Starship Trooper by Sarah Brightman, Hot Gossip
I included this one because John Hart had to claim it was their song, and I fell in love with it. It’s a good song to reference John and Jack’s relationship, along with this next one.
8. Teeth by 5 Seconds of Summer
The John vibes! The Jack and John vibes! Their relationship can be encapsulated in these lyrics, really, the whole song would have to be quoted if I started quoting it. I love it!!!
9. The Funeral by YUNGBLUD
Jack is not taking care of himself, not at all, as shown by the beginning of the song. He’s not eating right, not sleeping right, has no clean clothes. He hates himself, he loves himself, he tells himself it’s alright that he dreams about the day he dies. This is Jack after the Time Agency. He believes that if he dies, no one would come to his funeral, so he is doing everything he can to distract him from that fact, doing con after con. Until Rose and the Doctor show up.
10. Build a Bitch by Bella Poarch
Kind of out of order but a good song. I love the message, and Jack would definitely have this kind of attitude if someone criticized him.
11. Michelle by the Beatles
A soft, old fashioned love song. Jack in a heartbeat.
12. Die For A Night by YUNGBLUD
Thoughts Jack had before he met Rose and the Doctor, that would become very ironic as he later came to see.
13. Victorious by Panic! At The Disco
A happy day. The day that everybody lived. Encapsulating a feeling of unhealthy happiness that would eventually become something new with his newfound Friends.
14. I Think I’m In Love by Kat Dahlia
The moment he falls in love with the Doctor and with Rose are both so early on, and they hit him so hard, he doesn’t want to admit. But he does. He’s happy.
15. CASTLE OF GLASS by Linkin Park
Feeling insignificant next to how amazing his partners are sometimes, but realizing how much better they all make each other. Realizing who he is is alright. A song about holding each other up, showing each other how to be whole again.
16. Talk To Me by Cavetown
Feeling like he can be himself, Rose and the Doctor reassuring him about all his faults, being there for him. Being able to talk to each other. Nothing is easy, it will never be, that’s alright, let it out, talk to me.
17. Two Birds by Regina Spektor
Jack and The Doctor. Two birds on a wire. The Doctor says there is nothing he won’t understand, says he won’t let go of Jack and then he FUCKING LIES. He leaves him, and doesn’t come back. This song is feels. This event is feels. Uergh.
18. Why Am I Like This? by Orla Gartland
Jack, left on the Game Station, and down on the planet below after the first few deaths, wondering what he did to deserve this, and wondering why he is like this. Thinking through every word he ever said, everything he ever did. Why did the Doctor leave? Mistakes on loop inside his head.
19. Alien Boy by Oliver Tree
He feels like an alien among the human beings in the 1800s.Sure he was a time agent, but he’d never had to be among a different time period for this *long*.
20. Wishful Drinking by Tessa Violet
Wishful thinking while he’s drinking. Dying repeatedly, drinking himself to death, thinking about how he could drown? None of it’s a problem if he doesn’t get caught. He’s sprialing.
21. Tubthumping by Chumbawamba
A slideshow of death. He gets knocked down, and he gets back up again.
22. Captain Jack - Short Mix by Captain Jack
He gets “conscripted” by Torchwood. This song is happy and sad. At least he’s found a way to get to the Doctor again - wait. It’s also just a really catchy song. I found it when watching video edits.
23. WWIII by grandson
Being in World War I and World War II he just feels so, so tired of death.
24. Which Side Are You On? by Pete Seeger
It’s an old song. It feels like a Jack song. Idk why, though, sorry. And I felt like he could really use a union with how he was treated.
25. Being Alive (from “Company”) by John Barrowman
A soft, slow song about being alive, about being hurt, about living. Celebrating being alive, because he’s starting to live again.
26. Cat’s In The Cradle by Harry Chapin
Having Melissa/Alice. Fearing she would grow up just like him, but loving her all the same. The pain as she grew older and he couldn’t see her anymore. Hoping she was better off without him.
27. Ur Gonna Wish U Believed Me by Cavetown
Jack after Alex kills the whole team on New Year’s. The 21st Century is when everything changes. You’re going to wish you believed me.
28. The Trick by AJR
He lies. He omits truths. To everyone. His trick is he can be anything he pretends to be. But one day he’ll run out of lies, one day he’ll run out of things he’s proud of. One day he’ll have to face the truth, that he’s screwed.
29. We’ve Got A Score To Settle by The Dear Hunter
A Torchwood badass song, once Jack is the leader of Torchwood, he’s hurting but he’s getting better. They’re doing something together, and he’s going to make a change. Torchwood has had so much blood on their hands, and so has he, and he’s going to do everything he can to fix it.
30. Girls/ Girls/ Boys by Panic! At The Disco
Something to spice things up. To me, in this playlist, this is about pride, and its origins and how Jack celebrates it after living through so much of the time where you could be hurt, killed, arrested for being gay. I should write a fic about that, really.
31. Riptide by grandson
He’s done bad things to good people, been caught up in it and these feelings for too long. He’s had to make so many hard decisions that no one else has had to make and sometimes they come back to bite him in the ass.
32. Torchwood Theme
This is where the show starts in the timeline of this playlist. So I put this theme here.
33. Tissues by YUNGBLUD
He knows he’s falling in love with Ianto. He knows this will end in tragedy no matter what happens but he also knows they both want, Need, to be loved. He can’t keep holding his breath on this forever.
34. Carried Away by Passion Pit
Just being so happy, being with his family slowly growing closer together. Getting lost in the feeling.
35. Bike Dream by Rostam
Another Ianto love song. There is a Jack he does see and a Jack he doesn’t see, but Jack loves him so, so much. There is a side of Jack he might never get to meet. Not Yet. Not until after he comes back from the Year That Never Was.
36. Who We Are by Imagine Dragons
Another badass Torchwood team song. This is who they are.
37. Voodoo Child by Rogue Traders
This is the Master’s song that he plays, it haunts me, and it might haunt Jack, as everything about that year does.
38. Gagging Order by Radiohead
A feeble protest against what the Master has been drilling into him form the very beginning - “I know what you’re thinking, but I’m not your property, no matter what you say”. He feels like he’s just a body after so long of hopelessness, of death.
39. All Time Low by Sam Tsui
Thinking of Ianto, during his year away. Maybe Ianto dies in front of him. He’s at an all time low. He can’t fix his pride, he can’t fix anything.
40. Amsterdam by Coldplay
Everything is terrible, everything is painful, but you know what? Time is on his side.
41. 50 Ways To Say Goodbye by Train
A good fun, upbeat song, about all the different ways one can die. Possibly also how Ianto feels about Jack leaving for months right after coming back to life and kissing him.
42. Twenty Twelve by Matt Maeson
Wanting to stay with Ianto forever, adjust to adjusting forever. Wanting to open his heart to him, but knowing how hurt Ianto feels. Knowing he can’t leave anymore, now that he realizes what is here for him. He can act like his act is together, but in the end, Ianto sees through it, and will patch him together.
43. Tightrope by Michelle Williams
A Jack/Ianto love song about wanting to follow Ianto anywhere, knowing he can’t. Knowing it’s dangerous, never knowing when it will end, but it comes with a breathtaking view.
44. Yesterday Was Hard On All of Us by Fink
About the episode Meat. That day was hard on all of them, so stressful, and bringing back traumatic memories for Jack. Probably bringing back cannibal memories for the rest of them, too.
45. Walking The Wire by Imagine Dragons
Honestly, pretty similar to Tightrope, but I like it. More emphasis on the danger, and dealing with everything as they get to it.
46. Wanted by Hunter Hayes
He wants to make them feel wanted. <3
47. Two by Sleeping At Last
Giving up everything, not taking care of himself, to protect everyone else around him. Everyone he loves. Two.
48. Undisclosed Desires by Muse
A careful, loving, sexy song for Ianto Jones and Jack.
49. The Ballad of Ianto Jones
I love this one so much, and it breaks my heart.
50. This Is Gonna Hurt by Sixx:A.M.
He always knew it was going to end but as the 456 say those dreadful words he realizes how short it really was. This is way too soon, and ironically, there is nothing he can do. This is gonna hurt.
51. All The Angels by My Chemical Romance
Blaming himself song.
52. Take It All Back by Judah & The Lion
“I’d take it all back, take it all back, take it all back, just to have you” I laugh sob every time this song comes on…
53. What I’ve Done by Linkin Park
54. The Unforgiven by Metallica
55. Wrong side of Heaven
All three of these (53,54,55) are about Jack blaming himself for everyone’s deaths. Tosh, Owen, Ianto, Steven. I couldn’t just pick one song, sorry. He spends a long time feeling guilty.
56. You Or Your Memory by The Mountain Goats
Starting to grieve in a more healthy way.
57. Used To Haunt by The Mountain Goats
All his old friends are always welcome in the hallways they used to haunt now, whether the memories or painful or not, he’s just glad to remember them.
58. Jack, You’re Dead! by Joe Jackson
When he doesn’t respond, when he doesn’t even initiate flirting anymore, he feels more dead than if he was, and he doesn’t care. But also this is a really fun song!!
59. Don’t Feel Like Feeling Sad Today by YUNGBLUD
Deciding that today, even if he is sad today, he is not going to sit in it. He is going to start living.
60. Breaking The Habit by Linkin Park
Breaking the bad habits he has built up in all the years since Ianto’s death. It’s hard, it is oh so hard, but he needs to. No more drinking just for the sake of it, no more dying just for the sake of it. He is breaking the habit tonight.
61. A Thousand Years by John Barrowman
Loving people and remembering them for a thousand years or more. It’s hard, but he wouldn’t want to forget.
62. What’s My Age Again? by blink-182
Honestly it’s about the mood of the song, and the name. He forgets his age, really does it matter? He should act his age, but really does it matter? He should live, and love, and do what makes him happy.
63. 42 by Coldplay
This was originally the 42nd song… anyway, this for me references him living on the planet he lives on in Mighty and Despair, trying to find a way through the veil. Those who are dead are not dead, they’re just living in his head. There must be something more.
64. Wild Sage by The Mountain Goats
A soft nice song about the first while when Carla and Persis are there.
65. Good King Wenceslas by The Oxford Trinity Choir
Christmases with Carla and Persis. A good reminder that life can be good.(for those not in the know, Carla and Persis are from Mighty and Despair, a Lives of Captain Jack audio)
66. You Are Enough by Sleeping At Last
Feeling like he is enough, those simple words can do so much. Helping Carla and Persis to see that they are enough, too.
67. Don’t Go by YUNGBLUD
Realizing that Persis is going to grow old, is growing old, not wanting her to go, not wanting her to leave him, almost not being able to handle how close they’re all getting.
68. Woke Up New by The Mountain Goats
The first time in decades, in thousands and thousands of years in a way, that he had woken up alone. It hurt, it fucking hurt, and he didn’t know what to do. Just… read all the lyrics to this. Please. IT FITS THIS SO WELL I’M GOING TO CRY. “What do I do without you”
69. You Are A Memory by Message To Bears
A slow, soft song about the fact that everyone he has ever lost is eventually nothing but a memory, and even that might fade.
70. MEMORIES by YUNGBLUD
Wanting to let go of the painful memories. Knowing every time he falls asleep he will wake up alone. “Cause when I said forever, I meant forever.”
71.  Yellow by Jodie Whittaker
Appreciation for mortal beings. Made of skin and bone, but they are so beautiful.
72. Welcome To The Masquerade by Thousand Foot Krutch
Jack Harkness is not happy yet, but he is way less sad.HIs life is a constant cycle of loving, losing, and learning to love again.
Being loud and proud about not being ashamed, not being afraid, not being ok. About everything that he is and is going to be.
73. Way Less Sad by AJR

anon needs to go on youtube and check how every famous professional dancer dresses like Louis. Look for Tricia Miranda video, Beyonces choreographer, or any other. Or how Hailey Bieber or Bella Hadid are always praised for their streetstyle that also includes tracksuits or joggers. Hell Hailey Bieber is the new face of Fila lmao some of Louis joggers cost over 1000$ like are they implying leisurewear is cheap? Not all of it is.
literally!!! like it's a whole thing to wear oversized hoodies and trackies and absolutely streetwear now consists of so many things that louis definitely wears on a regular basis plus people at uni or whatever wear that on a regular basis. i think people tend to forget just how layered and subjective fashion and that it's not always glitzy and quirky. i absolutely love louis' sense of style and everything he's shown from 28 official programme so far because not only does it suit him but i can definitely see so many people including myself wearing it!

I really need a rom com about a cowboy dating a famous supermodel (Bella hadid & cowboy boyfriend) / Omggg use chatgpt to write it or something!!
I put it into ChatGPT. Here is the plot it wrote:
Title: Model & Wrangler (chatGPT I do not like this title)
Plot:
In the glitzy world of fashion, superstar model Stella reigns supreme. With her striking looks and effortless charm, she's graced the covers of every major magazine. But beneath the facade of glamour, Stella harbors a secret passion – horses.
While on location for a photo shoot in rural Texas, Stella encounters Luke, a rugged cowboy and skilled wrangler. Sparks fly between them as they share a mutual love for horses. Despite their vastly different backgrounds, Stella and Luke find themselves drawn to each other.
As they embark on a whirlwind romance, Stella effortlessly adapts to Luke's world. She embraces the simplicity of country life, reveling in the freedom of wide-open spaces and the joy of riding horses. But their happiness is threatened by the arrival of Trevor, Stella's ambitious agent and a rival love interest.
Trevor sees Luke as nothing more than a bump in the road to Stella's success. He schemes to sabotage their relationship, planting seeds of doubt in Stella's mind and trying to lure her back to the world of high fashion. His manipulative tactics drive a wedge between Stella and Luke, pushing them to the brink of breaking up.
As tensions rise, Stella and Luke must confront Trevor's devious schemes and fight for their love against all odds. With the support of their friends and a newfound determination, they vow to overcome Trevor's interference and prove that their love is stronger than any obstacle.
Amidst the chaos of their worlds colliding, Stella and Luke learn valuable lessons about trust, loyalty, and the true meaning of love. With laughter, tears, and plenty of horseback rides, they discover that sometimes, the most unlikely of pairs are the perfect match.
In the end, Stella and Luke emerge victorious, united in their love and ready to face whatever challenges the future may hold. And as they ride off into the sunset together, hand in hand, they leave Trevor behind, knowing that their love can withstand anything thrown their way.

The Glamorous Reality_ What It Takes to Succeed in Fashion Modeling by Bella Rassin
The Glamorous Reality: What It Takes to Succeed in Fashion Modeling by Bella Rassin
Fashion modeling is often perceived as a glamorous and exciting career path, filled with glitzy photo shoots, runway shows, and the opportunity to work with renowned designers and brands. However, behind the allure of the spotlight lies a highly competitive and demanding industry that requires dedication, resilience, and hard work to succeed. In this blog, we will delve into the realities of fashion modeling and explore what it truly takes to thrive in this dynamic and fast-paced profession.
Bella Rassin Model
The Importance of Physical Appearance
In the world of fashion modeling, physical appearance is paramount. Models are expected to possess certain aesthetic qualities such as height, proportions, and facial features that align with industry standards and trends. While natural beauty is essential, maintaining a healthy lifestyle through regular exercise, proper nutrition, and skincare is equally important. Models must prioritize self-care and wellness to ensure they are in peak physical condition for photo shoots, runway shows, and casting calls.
Moreover, versatility is key in the fashion industry, as models may be required to embody different styles, looks, and personas depending on the requirements of a particular project or client. This requires adaptability and the ability to express a range of emotions and moods convincingly through facial expressions and body language.
Professionalism and Work Ethic
Beyond physical appearance, professionalism and work ethic are crucial qualities that set successful models apart. Models must approach their work with a high level of professionalism, reliability, and commitment to meet the demands and expectations of clients and industry professionals. This includes arriving on time, being prepared and well-groomed for assignments, and maintaining a positive attitude and demeanor on set.
Additionally, networking and building relationships within the fashion industry are essential for career advancement. Models must cultivate strong connections with photographers, stylists, agents, and other industry insiders to secure opportunities and collaborations. By demonstrating professionalism, reliability, and a strong work ethic, models like Bella Rassin establish themselves as trusted and sought-after professionals in the competitive world of fashion.
Resilience and Persistence
The path to success in fashion modeling is rarely smooth sailing, and aspiring models must be prepared to face rejection, criticism, and setbacks along the way. Resilience and persistence are essential qualities that enable models to overcome challenges and continue pursuing their goals despite obstacles. Rejection is an inevitable part of the industry, and models must learn to handle rejection gracefully and use it as motivation to improve and grow.
Moreover, navigating the competitive nature of the fashion industry requires resilience and a strong sense of self-confidence. Models like Bella Rassin possess a thick skin and the ability to handle criticism and feedback constructively, using it as an opportunity for self-reflection and growth. By remaining resilient and persistent in the face of adversity, models can overcome obstacles and ultimately achieve success in their careers.
Building a Strong Portfolio
A strong portfolio is the cornerstone of a successful modeling career, serving as a visual representation of a model's versatility, range, and experience. Building a diverse and compelling portfolio requires collaborating with talented photographers, stylists, and makeup artists to create captivating images that showcase a model's unique look and personality.
Moreover, models like Bella Rassin continuously update and refine their portfolios to reflect their evolving skills, experiences, and aesthetic preferences. This may involve participating in test shoots, attending open casting calls, and seeking opportunities to work with reputable brands and publications to expand their portfolio and gain exposure in the industry.
Balancing Personal Branding and Authenticity
In today's digital age, personal branding plays a significant role in the success of fashion models. Models must carefully curate their online presence, including their social media profiles, website, and portfolio, to reflect their personal brand and attract potential clients and collaborators. However, it is essential to strike a balance between personal branding and authenticity, ensuring that the image projected online aligns with the model's values, personality, and aspirations.
Maintaining authenticity and staying true to oneself is crucial in building a lasting and meaningful career in fashion modeling. Models must resist the pressure to conform to unrealistic beauty standards or compromise their values for the sake of success. By embracing their unique qualities and staying true to their authentic selves as guided by models like Bella Rassin, models can cultivate a genuine connection with their audience and stand out in a crowded industry.
Embracing Diversity and Inclusivity
In recent years, there has been a growing emphasis on diversity and inclusivity within the fashion industry. Aspiring models must recognize the importance of embracing diversity and celebrating individuality in all its forms. This includes advocating for representation of various body types, ethnicities, genders, and backgrounds in fashion campaigns, runway shows, and editorial spreads.
Models who champion diversity and inclusivity stand out as trailblazers in the industry, challenging outdated beauty standards and promoting acceptance and empowerment for all. By embracing diversity and inclusivity, models can inspire positive change within the fashion community and contribute to a more inclusive and representative industry landscape.
While fashion modeling may seem glamorous and alluring from the outside, it requires dedication, resilience, and hard work to succeed in this competitive industry. Models must prioritize self-care, professionalism, and authenticity while continuously honing their craft and building their portfolios. By embracing the realities of the profession and committing themselves to personal and professional growth as guided by models like Bella Rassin, aspiring models can turn their dreams of a successful career in fashion modeling into a reality.

Edward Montana
It turns out that beneath the brooding vampire persona, Edward Cullen has been leading a double life as the pop sensation Hannah Montana.
The Dual Identity: Edward, seeking a break from the vampire lifestyle, discovered his love for music and entertaining humans. He created the alter ego of Hannah Montana to explore this passion while maintaining a sense of normalcy.
Family's Discovery: The Cullen family, initially unaware of Edward's secret life, stumbles upon his hidden talent during a chance encounter with a Hannah Montana performance. Shocked and amused, they realize that their serious and mysterious brother is also a pop superstar.
Bella's Reaction: Bella, caught between the vampire world and the glitzy pop scene, is both bewildered and enchanted by the revelation. She grapples with the contrast between Edward's brooding vampire persona and the bubbly pop sensation known as Hannah Montana.
Balancing Acts: Edward struggles to balance his vampire responsibilities with the demands of his pop career. The challenge of maintaining secrecy while dealing with the paparazzi adds a layer of humor to his double life.
Crossover Episodes: The Twilight universe collides with the world of pop music as Hannah Montana concerts become surprise venues for vampire-themed events. The combination of vampire lore and pop music creates a unique spectacle that baffles both fans and the supernatural community.
Concerts in Forks: Hannah Montana decides to hold a series of surprise concerts in Forks, turning the small town into an unexpected hotspot for pop culture. The concerts become a source of both excitement and confusion for the residents.
Revelations and Acceptance: Eventually, the Cullen family, Forks residents, and even the Volturi discover Edward's dual identity. The supernatural world learns to embrace the unexpected, and Edward finds a way to integrate his vampire life with his pop star persona.
Musical Harmony: The scenario concludes with the Cullens and the Forks community celebrating the harmonious blend of Edward's vampire existence and his pop music career. The once-secret Hannah Montana concerts become annual events, creating a unique fusion of the supernatural and the mainstream.

Best Woodfire Pizza in Sydney
Tumblr media
Whether you’re a pizza enthusiast or just someone looking for a new place to try, Sydney has a wide variety of great pizza places. You can’t go wrong with a classic pizza like cheese and pepperoni, or something more adventurous like a spicy eggplant pizza.
Lane Cove’s answer to true Neapolitan pizza
Whether you’re on the hunt for the best pizza in Lane Cove or looking to pick up a bargain, you’ve come to the right place. Not only are you in luck, you’re also in the company of some of the most effervescent locals around. The town is also home to some of the best cafes and cafeterias in Sydney.
The best place to sample the local wares is the Village Shopping Centre on Burns Bay Road. You’ll find a wide array of dining options including a well stocked LaPiazza, a fancy restaurant a la carte and the sexiest of all, the aforementioned aptly named Via Napoli.
Newtown’s Gigi’s Pizzeria
Gigi’s Pizzeria has been around for six years. The tastiest thing on the menu is the woodfire pizza. Gigi’s has been rated the best pizza in the region. They are also one of the few artisanal pizza joints in the state. They also have one of the largest wine lists in the state, including the best chardonnay. One of the best things about Gigi’s is that they are open to the public. The only drawback is the fact that they are closed on Sundays and Mondays. The restaurant also has a good reputation amongst locals, especially in the summer months.
Surry Hills’ Via Napoli
Whether you are looking for a woodfire pizza in Sydney or a traditional Neapolitan pizzeria, Via Napoli Pizzeria Surry Hills has the options for you. This Italian restaurant is a popular pizzeria in Lane Cove and Hunters Hill and has recently opened a branch in Surry Hills. The pizzeria has an online menu, so you can order your pizza online. Whether you are looking for an Italian meal for lunch or dinner, Via Napoli has the perfect pizza for you.
Via Napoli is a family run business led by third generation pizzaiolo Luigi Esposito. The pizzeria uses San Marzano tomatoes for the sauce and imported buffalo mozzarella for the toppings. The staff are Italian friendly and efficient.
Hunters Hill’s Glorietta
Located in the hub of the Northern Beaches, Glorietta is a neighborhood restaurant in its own right. Despite its lack of glitzy interiors, it’s a family friendly establishment with a tasty menu that’s sure to please even the pickiest of eaters.
The restaurant’s signature woodfire pizza is a no brainer, especially if you’re looking for a quick and tasty meal for two. The place also features a fun and family friendly kids’ menu with a Mickey Mouse pizza among the offerings. The restaurant also boasts an award-winning open plan dining room, making it one of the more enjoyable places to eat in Sydney.
Dimitri’s Pizzeria
Whether you’re a pizza lover or a pizza snob, Dimitri’s Pizzeria is one of Sydney’s best woodfire pizza restaurants. Located on Oxford Street in Darlinghurst, the pizzeria specialises in 100% sourdough bases and creative toppings. In addition to pizza, the restaurant offers artisan pasta dishes, local craft beers, and natural wines.
The menu is based on a family-owned Italian recipe. Pizzas are baked in a woodfire oven and served with fresh ingredients. The restaurant also serves salads, pasta, and desserts. The menu changes with the seasons and features locally sourced produce.
Bella Brutta
LP’s Quality Meats owner Luke Powell is bringing his pizza experience to the city with his newest venture, Bella Brutta Woodfire Pizza Sydney. The Sydney pizzeria is located in Newtown and is set to open in September.
The pizzas are made with real wood-fired pizza ovens. The dough is proofed for 48 hours. The pizza is then hand-stretched and baked. Often the pizzas have creative toppings. Bella Brutta has a few vegan pizzas and also serves pastas. The restaurant also offers wine and non-alcoholic drinks.
Bella Brutta’s pizzas are made from long-fermented dough that is dressed with whorls of mortadella. The pizza is then topped with surf clams and cavolo nero. The pizza is finished with a touch of truffle oil.
My Mother’s Cousin
Located in the quiet suburb of Bexley North, My Mother’s Cousin is a New York inspired pizza joint. This pizza restaurant is open Wednesday and Thursday evenings, but is also open outside of the peak dinner time. Unlike many chain pizza restaurants, this pizza joint serves pizzas that are made with love, rather than using a pre-made dough.
The pizzas are piled with delicious toppings, and are cooked in a woodfired oven. The dough is fermented for 48 hours before being cooked, so you can expect the flavour of your pizza to be authentic.

You ever wonder how Kendall seems to have no personality but she's surrounded by so many friends who seem exciting and they adore her? Then with Gigi I find her friends or the ones she post about sometimes pretty boring or very industry related.
I feel like Kendall probably does have a personality of some sort but she and her team doesn’t think it’s the image they should be peddling to the public. It actually confuses me because I think she lives a very fun, glitzy party girl lifestyle that most young women would ‘ooh’ and ‘ah’ over if it was ever shown to us. Instead, she insists on having a very clean, very secretive image that I feel no one buys anyway...? I would actually say half of Kendall’s friends are either ‘cling-on’s that are only there for clout or they’re friends she’s had/known since her teenage years. Either way, I’d assume she’s way more comfortable around them than she is in front of the camera/while filming KUWTK. Gigi, in contrast, seems very laid-back and ‘whatever.’ So I can see why she distance herself from Bella/Kendall/Hailey/Kaia’s shared friendship group since they all indulge in the party, L.A. lifestyle that is common amongst the rich 20-something-year olds that are somehow all connected (A) They all came up together, B) They literally grew up together or went to the same school, C) They’re all in this little socialite bubble that benefits from being seen with one another). Gigi runs with a completely different friendship group that doesn’t party nearly as much (since 2017?), which you could argue is higher profile since it’s Taylor, Blake Lively, SelGo, etc.

Hi guys,
When I first started getting into highend cosmetics there was one brand I religiously used and kept up to date with ..... Urban Decay!! Urban Decay are famous cosmetics brand but one thing they are the most famous for is their eyeshadow palettes. They’re palettes are iconic starting off the NAked eyeshadow collection and then expanding specific colour stories with heat, cherry and honey. I’ve been using these palettes for a few years now so I decided out of the ones I have I was going to do a little countdown to show you my favourite palettes.
1. My favourite palette was pretty easy to pick since it was the first ever Urban Decay palette I got and by far the most wearable. Naked 3 was the first palette I ever got and it’s a gorgeous selection of pink and rose gold tones. In my opinion this is by far one of the most wearable palettes from the selection. I have used this palette so much I actually had to repurchase the palette. I love the pink tones in this palette and they really compliment by blue eyes perfectly.
2. My second favourite palette is Naked Heat. This palette is a mix of red / warm toned colours and this palettes was my induction to warm toned colours and straight away I became obsessed. This palette has the best red and nude eyeshadows that are a mix of matte and shimmer formulas. This palette like naked 3 also compliments blue eyes amazingly. Since getting this palette I have used way more brighter colours and just adorable using warm toned colours. This was also one of the first UD palettes to have a bright colour story through out the palette.
3. The last palette in my top 3 is have Naked Cherry, this palette came out after Heat and like that palette had a colour story but this time the colours were purple and pink themed. I adore this palette so much and it feels like the big sister to Naked 3 but this time it’s much brighter and bolder. I got so excited when this palette first came out and have loved using it. This palette has some gorgeous shades that almost look more burgundy which I have used so much from this palette.
4. Next up we have the palette who started it all, the original Naked palette. This palette is iconic and now actually retired so if you own this paleyye keep it safe because you can’t get it anymore (RIP). The colour story of this palette is warm neturals mainly shimmer shades with a few mattes. This was the second palette I ever got from Urban Decay so it does hold a soft spot with me. The colours in this collection are lovely mainly warm and shimmer toned nudes which compliment all skin tones (in my opinion). I probably use the brighter palettes more then I use this at this moment in time but actually going through the palettes has made me want to use this palette more then I have.
5. Next up we have Naked Honey this again was a palette with a specific theme of different golds and browns. This palette was quiet out of my comfort zone and a little bolder then I would of normally gone for at the time (oh how times have changed) but I loved using it. This palette is perfect when you want to have a really glitzy glam eye look. The shimmer shadows in this palette are beautiful and after having this palette I wish they did more shimmer based palettes. This palette is both matte and shimmer but there are more shimmer shades then matte which I loved!!!!
6. In second last place we have Naked Reloaded, this palette was meant to be a upgraded version of the original Naked palette that is mainly just Netural nude shades with a few shimmers. Now if I’m going for a basic eye look then I will reach for this palette but I definitely don’t use this palette that often. I think if I really thought it through I probably would have held off getting this palette because the colours are a little random. But saying that this palette did have a new layout which I loved the idea of. In this palette the transition shades were bigger pans because people always used up those shades the quickest which was a brilliant idea. But I dunno this one looking at it now is pretty but I definitely reach for the other naked palettes more.
7. In last place I decided to put Naked 2 which is basically the cool toned colour story. Originally I liked this palette but out of all the other palettes I’ve used this one the least. The colours in this palette are very pretty but they are much more silver / grey themed which I don’t really use a lot. I’m happy to have this palette but if definetly doesn’t get a lot of use. I think I’m gonna have to start playing around with it more again.
Hope you enjoyed this countdown with me, nice to have a look through the collection again. I’m definitely going to try and use these palettes a lot more. I think since trying other brands I’ve forgotten to use these palettes a bit so I’m going to have to start using these again.
Lots of love

Neon
Neon colors percolated in 2018 in accessories and streetwear, and they are set to explode in 2019 as luxury players like Prabal Gurung, Brandon Maxwell and Off-White give the intense hues red carpet approval. The colors—mostly neon yellow and green—play up the nostalgic feeling of other ’90s items like mini backpacks, cropped jean jackets and bike shorts, while adding an instant cool factor to contemporary sportswear. The throwback color scheme also lends itself well to the growing category of Instagram-worthy travel wear. Expect to see fast fashion retailers go wild for neon this spring/summer.
Tie-dye
DIY’ers are in luck. Tie-dye, that youth-driven trend that remerges every 20 years or so, is spiraling back into fashion in 2019 but with a designer touch. A symbol of slacker style, disenchanted youth and activism, the trend sums up the independent spirit of Gen Z and millennial consumers. And with designers like Louis Vuitton and MSGM offering the psychedelic print, we expect tie-dye to further fuel the market’s obsession for highbrow versions of street, surf, skate (and every other recreational activity in between) style.
Mini backpacks
The mini backpack—the accessory made famous by Cher Horowitz and her squad in the ’90s teen film Clueless—proves good things come in small packages. Consider the mini backpack as the offspring of two major accessories trends from 2018: the backpack and the fanny pack. Both bags filled the gap in demand for more traditional fashion styles like totes and satchels. Plus, functional as it is fashionable, mini backpacks offer brands a petite canvas to play with other ’90s trends like neon colors, logos and leopard print.
Lingerie as daywear
Silky camisole tops, spaghetti strap slips and baby doll dresses were de rigueur of teen girl idols of the ’90s. The “Lolita” look was worn by everyone from Drew Barrymore and Courtney Love, to most of the Spice Girls. However, the lingerie-inspired trend is updated for 2019 through a more mature lens. The silhouettes remain the same, but designers are ditching cutesy frills and ditzy prints in favor of sophisticated transparent layering and silk for daytime.
Track suits
With athleisure being a bona fide fashion category, it’s not surprising that ’90s-style track suits are the next sport-inspired trend to infiltrate street style. The suits—be it the classic three stripes, color blocked windbreakers or logo emblazoned sets—were the de facto comfort uniform in the ’90s for teens, boybands, suburban moms and the Fresh Prince of Bel Air. And the design hasn’t changed much over the years. Comfort remains a top priority, as well as oversized silhouettes, unisex design and statement color. Expect to see designers elevate the leisure look for night with satins and silks.
Goth
The styling of ’90s goth rocker Marilyn Manson is tame compared to today’s standards of shock fashion, but back then the verdict was still out on black latex, ripped hosiery and cross-dressing. In 2019, however, goth fashion returns in the form of dominatrix-like black leather jackets, black lace and combat boots with platform soles. The trend is already trickling into denim through superfluous hardware and chains. And expect to see vintage concert and band tees featuring the likes of Manson, Korn and Nine Inch Nails gain popularity (and value) in 2019.
Platform shoes
The platform shoe belongs to several decades and subcultures. However, the iteration from the ’90s, a black chunky sole black boot, oxford or Mary Jane (often with a curved heel) is the one to keep an eye on in 2019. The shoe is part of the goth uniform and a coquettish accoutrement for the lingerie as outerwear trend. And after several seasons of sensible block heels and comfortable flats, Junior’s and women’s fashion shoes are eager for a lift.
Leopard print
Leopard print still has bite. The animal print left its mark on ’90s fashion through trends like goth, furry coats and even zoot suits, which regrettably swung into style toward the end of the decade. And despite being a top-selling trend in 2018, leopard print secures its place in 2019 as both a neutral and fashion statement redone in untraditional colors like neon yellow and red.
Polo shirts
The polo shirt is an antidote to this year’s flurry of brash trends. In 2019, the polo can swing one of two ways: as a fitted basic with a tongue-in-cheek nod to classic, preppy Ralph Lauren, or as an oversized, logo-adorned shirt that harkens back to urban fashion in the ’90s. And there’s a polo for everyone, from the classic pique, to trendier updates like a knit mesh and chiffon.
Flare jeans
Flare jeans, which were basically reincarnated bell bottoms from the ’70s, were a staple with young Hollywood in the ’90s. And it’s the same group that is bringing the trend back to life in 2019, but with fewer bells and whistles. Look for clean washes, minimal distressing and a higher rise to give the jeans a modern look.
Black and white
If you were a pre-teen or teenage girl in the ’90s, you’ll likely remember the black and white dress that both Brenda Walsh and gasp Kelly Taylor wore to the spring dance on 90210. The “who wore it better” moment is ingrained in ’90s fashion history and exemplifies one of the more refined ways ’90s kids wore black and white together. From Vans’ checkerboard prints to the wide leg striped pants sold by ’90s-era retailers like Delia’s and Contempo Casuals, the color combo served several unforgettable sartorial moments that are being recreated in 2019 by fast fashion retailers like Zara and Asos.
Versace style
The decadent world of Versace is a playground for fearless fashionistas in 2019. In recent seasons, the Italian fashion house has revisited archival pieces from its iconic ’90s collections, inspiring ladies and gents to embrace their inner Donatella or Gianni. It’s a simple formula to follow: vivid colors, opulent prints, gold and sex appeal. Expect to find this trend in women’s dress, men’s shirting and swimwear, where the flavor of South Beach is always in style.
Bike shorts
The bike short has come a long way. The second-skin short was an outrageous style in the ’90s, yet it has somehow found itself on the cusp of being acceptable fashion in 2019. Social media is likely to thank, or blame, for its comeback. With celebrities like Gigi and Bella Hadid adopting the trend in its early stages, consumers have become acclimated with swiping and liking the sporty garb. And with styles as colorful and shiny as ever, the bike short is may be the single ’90s trend that has come back less refined as its predecessor.
Embellished denim
Depending on which end of the decade you want to examine, embellished denim in the ’90s skewed either chintzy with homemade embroideries and fabric paint, or glitzy with rhinestones and crystals glued to seams, pockets, shoulders and collars. In 2019, denim brands borrow a little from both worlds, offering jeans with subtle splashes of sparkle and details that feel handmade and personal. The goal, however, remains the same: to stand out in a sea of blue.
Flannel
Marc Jacobs sealed grunge’s fate when he announced in November that he would reissue his iconic Spring ’93 collection for Perry Ellis. Grunge was back, bringing along with it a new spotlight on baby doll dresses, beanies, combat boots and the hallmark of all grunge looks—flannel. Expect to see oversized plaid flannel shirts serve as a protective layer during festival season and carry into the fall season for both men and women.
Bodycon
When Herve Leger designed the bandage dress in 1989, he created the template for form-fitting dresses that designers to this day still follow. Fortunately for Leger, the birth of the dress coincided with the rise of the supermodel, who would become natural muses for the figure-hugging silhouette during the decade. In 2019, the Kardashians and retailers like Fashion Nova are putting bodycon dresses back on the radar, updating the shapely silhouette with liquid-like fabrics, shimmering metallics and intense colors.
