➳ Arrows can symbolize war and death
or
➳ they can symbolize future prosperity.
Arrows were/are used to fight or hunt but I feel like they can symbolically remind us that “the best is yet to come.”
When we go through hard times—and we go ten steps back—God is preparing us, molding us into better versions of ourselves. He takes the bad and makes it good.
“He was making a pot from clay. But there was something wrong with the pot. So the potter used that clay to make another pot. With his hands, he shaped the pot the way he wanted it to be. Then this message from the Lord came to me: “Family of Israel, you know that I can do the same thing with you. You are like the clay in the potter’s hands, and I am the potter.” This message is from the Lord. “There may come a time when I will speak about a nation or a kingdom that I will pull up by its roots or tear down and destroy it. But if the people of that nation change their hearts and lives and stop doing evil things, I will change my mind and not bring on them the disaster I planned. There may come another time when I speak about a nation that I will build up or plant. But if I see that nation doing evil things and not obeying me, I will think again about the good I had planned to do for them.” (Jeremiah 18:4-10)
“And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose.” (Romans 8:28)
Like an arrow, we’ll shoot forward with the help from His Hand! From bad times to good; from lack to prosperity; from failure to success!
“And the hand of the Lord was with them, and a great number who believed turned to the Lord.” (Acts 11:21)
“For I know the plans I have for you,’ declares the Lord, ‘plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.’” (Jeremiah 29:11)
Yet, we typically view things as getting worse before they get better. And to a point that is true. It does sometimes happen that way. Why? Because It’s hard to remember in the bad moments that many good ones are to come. That’s what our Bibles are there for—to remind us how many times our God promises. . .
But the Good—great, actually—news is that God doesn’t desert us in the moments we slide back but as He told Jeremiah in this passage if we repent and turn to Him, He’ll prosper us. He’ll never leave us when we need Him most. Think of how far He’s brought you. Do you think He’d quit and leave you in your darkest hour? No. Not only is our God far from a quitter but He has promised to never leave nor forsake us.
“‘Never will I leave you; never will I forsake you.’” (Hebrews 13:5)
And we’re arrows in God’s Hand. Arrows never go backward and God’s Hands never fail!
“My Father, who has given them to me, is greater than all, and no one is able to snatch them out of the Father's hand.” (John 10:29)
As long as we trust and believe in God, and follow Him, the best is truly yet to come, so get ready to shoot forwards into a prosperous, good future God has planned for you. ➳

The evidence of God's Hand in my small little life trumps any opinion about whether or not He exists. For me, He does. No doubt.

God’s hands are more capable than a great surgeon; More compassionate than a caring nurse; More precise than a fine diamond cutter; More creative than a master craftsman; More powerful than a mighty warrior; More dependable than a honest man’s handshake; More reassuring than a mother’s embrace.
