I've been trying to practice digital since my traditional art doesn't translate to the Digital art style anymore especially after I put shading.

Part of the ship, part of the crew.

Thinking about the Dutchman’s crew some more, sketching a bit, and definitely pinning them as a found family. Who doesn’t love a bit of peg-leg Luca? I sure do. He’s literally part electric eel (he named it Lorenz), and all the more of a maniac for it. The crew consists of Grace, Luca, Norton, and Mary, which is relatively small but enough to start with for me until I get a good foundation. Plus they’re the only critical ones.

While Norton isn’t a pleasant guy since the loss of his heart, he also isn’t completely cruel either. He knows that his crew trusts him enough to abide by their command, even if they may be a bit chaotic and unkempt around the edges.

Hi, todays prompt for ithaugust is “dynamic with another character”- I’m doing this Headcanons bc I’m a little (very) lazy today! Doing two characters tho <33

Ithalva and Ithagrace Headcanons!

Pairings : Ithaqua x Alva, Ithaqua x Grace (I love both of these ships they’re so dudjdjffjsjsjsj!)

Ithalva

‧͙⁺˚*･༓☾A ship dynamic I really like for them is one with the height difference! Ithaqua doesn’t seem like he’d be super tall, while Alva is.. obviously very tall, so they’d have a big difference in height.

‧͙⁺˚*･༓☾ To elaborate on this, Ithaqua is perfect size for holding, or sometimes just leaning down and hugging, it’s cute

‧͙⁺˚*･༓☾ I see them both as more reserved types of lovers at the beginning. Though I think Ithaqua is more affectionate when he warms up, and would be the one to initiate most of the affection with Alva!

‧͙⁺˚*･༓☾ Ithaqua running his hands along Alva’s scars with a soft smile at night while the other absentmindedly leans into his touch

‧͙⁺˚*･༓☾ Both are afraid of abandonment for different reasons, and could potentially cling to each other a lot on rough days.

‧͙⁺˚*･༓☾ Ithaqua would be the more obviously paranoid one, constantly asking if the other wouldn’t leave him while he was asleep, or just grabbing onto Alva to make sure he doesn’t leave.

‧͙⁺˚*･༓☾ Alva being more reserved would probably not act on his fears often, though sometimes he’ll end up holding onto Ithaqua tighter while they’re in bed together, or refusing to let the other out of his sight.

‧͙⁺˚*･༓☾ Alva used to have long hair (we were robbed), so he knows how to braid and play with Ithaqua’s hair! It comforts ithaqua because it reminds him of what mother used to do, and Alva just enjoys having something to do with his hands, and to be in the presence of the other

‧͙⁺˚*･༓☾ Acts of service!!! They’re constantly doing things for each other, like cleaning the others room without asking, making dinner, ect.

‧͙⁺˚*･༓☾ Ithaqua also likes using words and pet names, though the other doesn’t often do that. Itha will often call Alva things like “Dear” or “Love”, while Alva typically sticks with the others name, sometimes shortening it to “Itha”

‧͙⁺˚*･༓☾ They have a big difference in their hand sizes, with ithaqua having the smaller hands. Ithaqua will sometimes take the others hands and look at every detail before holding them in his own.

Ithagrace

‧͙⁺˚*･༓☾ Two sweethearts in one! What else could you ever want?

‧͙⁺˚*･༓☾ Grace strikes me as a more affectionate person, so she often gives the other short kisses and little hugs, leaning against his chest while they’re sleeping, ect.

‧͙⁺˚*･༓☾ It gets poor Ithaqua so flustered at first, since he probably doesn’t have much relationship experience (let’s face it.. he lived in a forest) - but eventually he finds himself longing for Graces embrace

‧͙⁺˚*･༓☾ He likes to brush and play with her hair, putting it into cute little styles, mumbling about how gorgeous she looks while doing it

‧͙⁺˚*･༓☾ Grace doesn’t speak much, if at all, though Ithaqua doesn’t mind much. He’s likely quieter himself, so the silence is comforting for him.

‧͙⁺˚*･༓☾ In a relationship like this, Ithaqua would likely use pet names less, but would constantly say things like “you’re so pretty”, “I love you so much”, ect. He really wants Grace to know how much he values her.

͙⁺˚*･༓☾ I could see them baking together, or just doing domestic type things in general!

͙⁺˚*･༓☾ They both fear losing the other, but in this relationship they probably do a pretty good at soothing each others fears, making the worries shift to the back of the mind.

I talked about this in a gc with friends but like I looked on the idv wiki at the COA 6 stuff and I saw this

And I was like “oh neat!” Then I remembered the pic of all of the b tiers and guys

The reason why he looks like that

He’s wearing a costume

The weird seam where his neck and chest meet? The splotches on his clothes?

It’s all makeup

So all the b tiers are part of the cast, they’re just the behind the scenes people

Orpheus wrote the script

Ada made the costumes

Emil inspected the place to make sure it was safe (obviously did a bad job)
