EARTH 2.0: The Flash

It’s almost midnight at the main branch of the Central City Police Department is about to close for the night.

Barry can’t believe that this night has been so busy it’s like the world is in unrest he can feel it.

You can’t understand it like he does but the speed force is influx constantly changing in its frequency.

One signal to another a portal appears in a strange golden yellow aura encircling blue light.

The entire set of employees of the station are drawn to it completely unaware a gush of wind rushes out.

Barry is thrown into back first into the wall his is at a lost searing in pain a strange figure waltzes from with in it.

The portal closes behind the strange man who is all smiles his teeth glint in the sky it is amazing.

Barry is at a loss for wards when the man in an effortless ability he snaps his fingers to in a blinding light.

The room blows up in a white glow finally overtaking the building nothing is left as the light fades they all hand cuffed.

It is clear his meta powers have dampened to the point he can no longer use them and the man is very aware.

A group of men appear behind Barry swiftly grabbing his arms they lift him up and drag him past the room.

Another portal pushes through they shove him inside then laugh as it encloses leaving him stranded.

“Wait something is off…what is happening?”

Barry ask himself.

“I just did this…right?”

“Deja vu?”

Barry wakes up hours later in a jail cell his mid fully awakens in excitement he tries of race away.

His phasing ability is so weak he can barely move, Barry gives in shaking his head as he loses his breath.

He places his back on the wall his breath is at a unknown level of uncontrollable fits he is at his lowest.

Barry’s eyes start to glow with electricity shooting through the air in burst of energy everywhere.

The man lays in the shadows jumping from wall to wall settling behind him he match’s Barry’s movements.

“Barry Allen”

“Who are you?”

“Your new Master”

“I will never submit to you “

“Don’t be foolish”

“Of course you will”

The figure jumps into Barry’s body sending him into a frenzy as his powers overtakes his body.

He falls into a deep slumber allowing his own mind to go into hyper drive watch the synapses in his brain go haywire.

“Hello? HELP!”

“Relax Barry”

“Nnnnnnooooo!”

“Yes!”

“You obeyed me”

“What a natural instinct”

“You should heed my words”

“Not like you have much choice”

Barry throws a lightening bolt into the air it spins weaving into circular portal as he leaps into the air and races through

Inside Barry’s mind fades into nonexistence so all he can do is obey me forever the more power he conducts time erases.

“What on earth? My powers are out of control I need to escape that time portal.”

“Nnnnooooo! HELP!”

“Mwahahahahaha”

Clark gets hit throwing him into the portal he is left in pitch black darkness falling into a empty void.

“Welcome home Clark Kent”

I wish studios were more willing to give us different forms of superhero media. Like, the Into the Spider-verse series has been so good at taking a well known IP and giving us a different approach to it, such that the movies have been doing really well despite other current superhero flicks underperforming and people screaming about “superhero fatigue” every two seconds (though I guess it also helps that Spider-Man is one of the most profitable comic book IPs out there).

It sucks that studios aren’t really thinking out of the box - especially Warner Brothers. The Flash would’ve been the perfect DC guinea pig for this imo, especially the flashpoint paradox which is tailor made for a multiverse type animated picture. Just thinking of how we could get the different people who have carried the mantle of the Flash (Barry, Wally, Jay) and also introduce key supers from the JL. Maybe even make Wally the protag of the animated feature because the general public already has the cw show in their conscious, so a different Flash in a different style might have been interesting (also people - rightfully - prefer Grant over Ezra so…). Idk there’s been a real missed opportunity here and it sucks.
