I don’t know anything, but I know I miss you

This is stupid.

Pearl gathers as much, while she’s riding a camel that’s dangerously close to tumbling off the edge of a statue decorating the entrance of Impulse’s dwarven keep.

Like, really stupid.

(Or, how a camel mends the gap in Pearl and Gem’s relationship yet again.)

Voidwalkers are very rare in Lifesteal. Not only are they powerful with powers and boosts that no one can really comprehend but they are also notoriously vengeful -that last factor is what is keeping every underground organization and mafia from seeking them out. At least, that's what the rumors say because no one has seen a voidwalker in decades.

So Parrot is pleasantly surprised when Xisuma, the voidwalker who broke into his house somehow, proves all those rumors wrong... at least the ones about them being vengeful. Then again, he doesn't have another voidwalker as an example to compare Xisuma to; it could just be an individual thing.

The only thing the rumors have got right so far is the appearance: armor made of some incredibly hard stuff and helmet (no one knows why voidwalkers wear it, maybe Parrot will ask at some point) and the custom-made gas-like mask that lets them breathe in... whatever it is they breathe in.

"So, have you seen either of them?", Xisuma asks. He gave Parrot a good discription of the people he's looking for and to say that the avian wasn't surprised to hear the voidwalker talk like his bow-enthusiast friend's antics was an everyday thing would be a lie.

"I've seen the guy with the bow. He killed Jester yesterday"

And maybe he should ask more essential questions, like, where did the voidwalker come from? Why are there happy-go-lucky people who shoot an arrow and are immediately surprised when they drop dead? Y'know, the more... normal (for lack of a better word) questions.

Especially since Xisuma hasn't shown a single sign of aggression since the, um, incident.

"Oh! Do you know where he might be?"

"No?", what, does he think that after witnessing the murder of Jester, the deadliest assassin in all of Lifesteal, owner of twenty hearts (the maximum one can have on them) and a vault rumored to hold dozens more, he'd stick around?

Xisuma hums, thinks, and then gets up from the couch. Parrot raises an eyebrow.

"I'll be out of your hair then, I'm sorry for spooking you, Parrot"

Parrot watches as Xisuma shows himself out, speechless at the fact that the guy is going to walk outside during nighttime. Alone. He books it to the living room window (somewhat boarded up but there is enough space for him to slip out) aaaaand, yeah, the dude is already being tailed by low-level thugs.

Xisuma should be fine... he is a voidwalker, he should be able to handle this but at the same time, Xisuma doesn't look like the guy who would put up much of a fight... If he owed Parrot a favor, then that would be fantastic.

He defenestrates himself with glee.

So I saw this art by @1captainjordan4 (they’re really cool by the way and you should check out their art.) and I got obsessed. Basically the comic depicts Grian in an alternate universe where instead of putting grumbot in a simulation he tells him that Mumbo lost the election. The last panel shows grumbot towering over Scar with scar seeming worried or even scared.

This comic (again by 1captainjordan4, check them out) was the inspiration for one of my brainrots.

Essentially grumbot goes crazy and decide that he’ll fulfill his primary directive even if it means altering his own code to allow himself to use violence. In messing with his core AI codes he kinda screws up the rest of it. He then creates mini hims (a whole bunch of them in various sizes from about four to seven feet tall) as well as upgrading himself and takes over the server so Mumbo becomes the mayor, “kidnapping” Grian and Mumbo in the process.

The rest of the hermits, of course, decide that Grumbot needs to be stopped. Grian and Mumbo escape from wherever grumbot kept them (this is a concept, I don’t have all the answers yet.) somewhere that’s just a glorified prison and join the rest of the hermits in taking down Grumbot. Eventually it comes down to Grian to kill Grumbot, but he can’t and it’s super emotional etc. etc. Grumbot takes advantage of Grian’s hesitation and attacks the other hermits (again, screwed up code.) and in a last ditch effort Grian gathers all the remaining Watcher energy (watcher lore fan, you can suffer) he has and makes a portal. He apologizes to Grumbot and pushes him through the portal. It collapsed behind him.

Grian just meant to get Grumbot off world where he couldn’t hurt anyone, but his portal was rushed and unstable, had no destination specified, and Grian never finished his Watcher training, so instead of launching him between worlds Grumbot was launched between realities. He ends up in canon Hermitcraft.

Long story short, can someone write this pls? I would if I could but I’m not great at writing, only concept work! 😭😭😭

tinfoilchef deserves so much more appreciation. he lives with chronic pain in his left arm, and STILL spends time playing video games to entertain his audience. he's gone through several major health scares in his career on hermitcraft, including an infection that ended in amputation, but he always seems to have something positive to share with us. he's almost 63 years old and makes fanfiction review videos. his goal for hc9 is to create the ugliest builds imaginable. he's hilarious, and seeing the respect other hermits have for him makes my day. truly the icon to end all icons.
