A little DaiHaru fanfic I made
I wrote this a little while ago because I love my pookies so much. It’s pretty long, but it’s a one shot. If you don’t like the story or the pairing, then just ignore this. It’s mainly fluff, and there is some kissing, but I don’t believe it’s NSFW. I uploaded this to Wattpad before I knew about AO3, so if you’be seen this before, you know why now.
"Why the heck are you following me?" Haru asked
"I'm not following you, we just happened to be going in the same direction," Daisuke said, nonchalantly
"Yeah, right," Haru scoffed. *All I literally want to do is get away from you and somehow, you don't get it do you, airhead!*
"You seem angry, what seems to be the problem, Haru?" Daisuke smirked
"One, I told you to call me Kato, not Haru. Two, yeah, I'm a little pissed, and I think you know why," Haru said, not once looking Daisuke's way as he pushed the button for the elevator.
During the mission they had that day, Daisuke ended up bribing the culprit who was armed robbing a big store, and then let him go after a short interrogation session that Haru was not allowed to attend, even though HE was the one who apprehended the guy. Just the thought of Daisuke's face as he was ushering him away from the interrogation room, pissed off Haru even more.
Haru audibly huffed and kept his eyes focused on the elevator door, trying not to let Daisuke's attitude get to him.
The elevator door didn't waste any time opening and the two adults walked in.
"I'm sorry, Haru, I didn't mean to hurt your feelings," Daisuke teased
"Shut up, idiot, and, again, stop calling me Haru!" Haru shouted, still not turning back towards his comrade.
"Oh, come on, Haru. At least look at me," Daisuke said, softly grabbing Haru's chin with one hand and turning Haru's face towards his.
"Hmph!" Haru pouted and turned away, yanking his face away from Daisuke and crossing his arms. They both stood on either side of the elevator, waiting for the 'ding' that would tell them they were on their floor. The elevator was silent except for the sound of wires squealing. At one point, though, the elevator completely stopped between floors.
"Huh, that's weird?" Haru said, tilting his head like a puppy, making Daisuke smile.
For two more minutes, the elevator didn't move or make a sound, causing Haru to start worrying.
"Why is this taking so freaking long?" Haru asked no one in particular.
"Have you not learned the skill of patience yet, Haru?" Daisuke questioned, a mischievous look in his eyes
"Shut it, rich brat. It shouldn't be taking so long to go down two floors!" Haru said, starting to get worried.
"It'll be fine, Haru, the elevator is probably just broken or something," Daisuke shrugged
"JUST BROKEN! Yeah, so we JUST might be stuck in here until we starve to death! Or until the oxygen in this space runs out and we die from inhaling too much carbon dioxide" Haru shouted as he started pacing back and forth in the confines of the 6 by 6-foot space.
"Are you claustrophobic by any chance?" Daisuke questioned, genuinely curious.
"No, I'm not, I just don't want to be stuck with you in a small space for a long period of time!" He said as he started panting. "I don't have my phone on me, I left it in the office. Don't you have HEUSC? Can't we use him to get out of here?" Haru's voice started going up octaves. Daisuke touched his left earlobe, where HEUSC was supposed to be and checked his pockets for his phone. And when he couldn't find either one, he awkwardly smiled and rubbed the nape of his neck.
"Ugh! What is this? It's like I'm getting completely screwed over today! Hah, the universe just really doesn't want me to be happy, does it?" Haru said. He went and sat in one of the corners of the elevator, pulling his knees up to his face, still panting.
Daisuke sighed and walked over to where Haru was sitting, kneeling in front of him.
"Everything's going to be fine, okay. Once everyone realizes how long we've been out, they'll find us. I'm sure of it." Daisuke said, pulling Haru's head out from where it was hiding behind his knees. "Now breathe with me. In... and out..." Daisuke looked right into Haru's as he was trying to calm him down.
As Haru copied Daisuke's breathing pattern, looking into Daisuke's eyes, he was mesmerized by the glacier-like color of his eyes. The mere thought of this calmed him down immensely.
"Thanks," Haru said, reluctantly, but still gratefully.
"No need," Daisuke said, shrugging it off.
Daisuke's hands wandered to the top of Haru's head and started playing with his hair. This was something that Daisuke had always done. No matter if they were alone, or with a lot of other people. Whenever Daisuke and Haru were close enough to each other, Daisuke would always pet Haru's head and play with his hair. Haru never really understood it, but he never opposed it. He would never tell Daisuke this, but it pacified Haru more than Daisuke would ever know. They sat like that, a soothing quiet enveloping them for a few minutes.
"I wish we had our phones, 'cause I really don't feel like shouting to get the attention of everyone here," Haru said, and Daisuke nodded, still playing with Haru's hair. To get more comfortable, Haru moved foreward a little bit so that he could lean into Daisuke. He tried to do it as subtly as possible, so that Daisuke wouldn't get any ideas, but Daisuke still noticed. The little gesture from Haru made Daisuke's entire being feel contented.
A few more moments of silence passed through the air between them, taking up the space, but not making them uncomfortable.
"Hey, you're being way quieter than normal. Something wrong?" Haru asked as he lightly tapped Daisuke's thigh, making the latter's breath hitch in his throat. Daisuke took his hand away from Haru's head and, after a few seconds, took a deep breath in.
"I just wanted to... to apologize for making you feel so bad," Daisuke said and let out the breathe that he had before.
"Woah! That's weird. I thought you never took responsibility for your actions?" Haru grinned, taking full advantage of the situation and teasing Daisuke.
"I'm trying to be considerate here. Don't make me stop." Daisuke said, his eyes piercing through him. Haru threw his hands up in surrender.
"Yeah, so, I'm, um... sorry," Daisuke said, bowing his head.
"Hey, oh, OH! No need for the bowing, it's fine. Well I mean it's not really fine, but I can't fault you for taking responsibility. So I forgive you," Haru said. *I forgave you about five minutes ago* acknowledging his soft spot for him. Daisuke nodded and went back to playing with Haru's hair.
As the minutes passed by, the AC in the elevator started getting colder and colder, causing Daisuke, who was only in a vest and a dress shirt, to shiver.
"God, you should know by now that you should always layer in this country," Haru said, placing his jacket on Daisuke's shoulders.
"But then you'll get cold. I don't want that," Daisuke said, handing the jacket back to Haru, even though, the thought of him wearing Haru's jacket sent shivers of anticipation down his spine.
"Nah, I'm used to the cold. But you don't look like you could last in less than 25-degree weather," Haru smiled as he grabbed the jacket and put it back on Daisuke's shoulders. Daisuke put the jacket on and hugged it close to his body.
"It smells like you, it's a lot more comforting because of that," He said, sniffing the collar and smiling to himself. Haru flushed. *How can he say stuff like that and not get embarrassed*. Haru tried to hide his from Daisuke, by nonchalantly (but not really) putting his hands over his face.
"Why is your face getting red?" Daisuke asked, touching Haru's cheek.
"No reason, just the temperature," Haru responded, and turned his face away knowing his face was about beet red by now.
"Why is it that when I'm talking to you, your face is almost always facing a different direction?" Daisuke asked again, turning Haru's face towards his. Daisuke saw the awkward look on Haru's face and chuckled to himself.
"What're you laughing about?" Haru asked, getting a little mad.
"Just the fact that you're really cute when you're embarrassed," Daisuke said, leaning closer to Haru.
"Shut up," Haru said, but it didn't have much punch behind it. Daisuke's face moved even closer to Haru's, to the point where Daisuke's lips were hovering next to his ear.
"It's very attractive," Daisuke whispered. His sultry breath shook Haru's entire body, goosebumps traveling up his arms. *He's never been this close to me before I kind of like his warmth, and he smells like a comfy fireplace*.
"...," Haru couldn't speak. He had intended for words to come out, he even opened his mouth, but it just didn't happen. Out of the corner of his eye, he saw Daisuke smirk. *I bet he loves the fact that he's able to do this to me*.
"Cat's got your tongue?" Daisuke teased, still millimeters away from Haru's ear. Again, Haru said nothing, but inside, he was almost dying from the intimacy of the situation that he found himself in.
The elevator stayed silent for a while, the only sound cutting through the tension was the breathing of each of the men.
Haru turned to face Daisuke, realizing just how close their faces were, just a few more millimeters and their noses would be touching. Haru pulled his head a few centimeters away from Daisuke so that he could run his thumb over Daisuke's lips.
"I didn't think you ever got touchy, Detective Haru," Daisuke said. Haru couldn't see it, but a slight blush appeared on Daisuke's face. Haru didn't look up to see Daisuke's eyes, either. If he had, he would have seen a look in his icy blue eyes that he hadn't witnessed before.
Haru was very concentrated on caressing Daisuke's lips until Daisuke, being his mischievous self, stuck his tongue out and licked Haru's thumb.
"Dude!" Haru shouted, surprised, he pulled his hand aside but didn't wipe the saliva away.
"What was I supposed to do with you seducing me like that!" Daisuke said, raising his voice a little, but still smiling.
"Seducing you! That's not what I was doing. I was just... I was... What was I doing?" Haru stuttered.
"Hahahaha! I don't know what I'm supposed to do with you," Daisuke chuckled. He wrapped his arms around Haru's neck and pulled him closer. Daisuke tilted his head and smiled at the look that Haru was giving him. The look of a predator about to feast on his prey.
Haru was getting hypnotized by the way that Daisuke's arms were around him, and the way that Daisuke was staring into his soul. His eyes kept wandering over to Daisuke's lips. *They look so soft I really want to...*
Daisuke was also having a very hard time not surrendering to the same feeling that Haru was having, but soon it became too much. Daisuke closed his eyes and leaned in towards Haru. When they were close enough, he brought his lips to Haru's and brushed them together. He immediately, softly pulled back and slowly opened his eyes. He took a peek at Haru's face, which was as dumbfounded as he thought it would be.
Haru was very surprised at this turn of events, but he definitely was not unhappy with it. The instant that their lips met, he felt a sort of spark go off in his brain, a spark that traveled all the way down his body. When they parted, he almost felt satisfied, but the he realized that he wanted something more, than, in fact, that mini kiss wasn't enough for him. He wanted a lot more. He wanted Daisuke so much that he couldn't stand it
So, this time, Haru instigated it. He weaved his hands into the hair at the back of Daisuke's head as he pulled Daisuke closer and closer, until the point where their lips were touching again. Instead of splitting immediately, though, Daisuke kissed him back. As Daisuke deepened the kiss by parting his lips a little, Haru was so stunned by the warmth of his mouth that he almost broke the kiss. But Daisuke's scent kept him grounded in the moment. Their lips softly moved with each other, finding a rhythm that seemed almost instinctual.
Haru's hands drifted from Daisuke's hair and somehow found their way underneath Daisuke's shirt, softly carving a path across his body. Haru could feel Daisuke shiver under the touch of his cold hands, but Daisuke still leaned into him. As their bodies intertwined, the elevator didn't feel so cold anymore. With the warmth that each of them was producing, they were almost sweating. Haru's jacket was on the floor behind them and somehow, so was Daisuke's vest.
Daisuke ran his hands through Haru's hair, wanting to press their bodies even closer together, so he moved to lay down, taking Haru with him. As they fell to the floor, their legs intertwined, and Haru felt like he was melting into Daisuke. It seemed so hard for Haru to tell where his mouth ended and Daisuke's began, as their tongues fought for dominance.
Daisuke rolled to be on top of Haru. He trailed light kisses down from Haru's lips to his chin and all the way to his neck, where he lingered. He felt shivers and heard the quiet, choked moans of a Haru that was trying to stay quiet. It made him feel amazing about the fact that he could make Haru feel that way. It also evoked a feeling of hunger in him. He wanted to make Haru shout.
"Ngh!" The sound came from out of nowhere. Haru looked around to see where it may have come from, but soon enough, he realized that it was him that made that sensual sound. Daisuke looked up from the spot on Haru's neck that he was working on and smiled down at him.
"I'm glad I was able to awaken this side of you, Detective Haru," Daisuke said, a comfortable smile lighting up his face, different from his normal, knowing smirks. Haru grinned inwardly to himself at this fact.
After seeing the look on Daisuke's face, Haru decided that he wanted to change things up a little bit. He rolled over and punned Daisuke under his body. His hands held Daisuke's wrists to the ground and one of Haru's knees went between Daisuke's legs.
"I didn't think you were the type who liked to incite things. I'm learning all sorts of things about you in this elevator!" Daisuke said, eyes wide and surprised to see a ravaged-looking Haru on top of him.
"I didn't know that fact about myself either, but you've definitely influenced me," Haru said, smirking. He made his way towards Daisuke's ear and bit it, spending his time figuring out the layout with his tongue.
"Ah," Daisuke sighed, giving in to the warmth of Haru on him.
Haru continued down Daisuke's jawline and down his neck, stopping at certain places when he heard sounds of pleasure escaping from Daisuke. *It feels nice to make the calm and collected Daisuke not seem so calm and collected him making sounds like that because of me is so satisfying!*
Daisuke's hands snaked their way up inside of the shirt that Haru had on. The heat of Haru's bare body underneath his hands was comforting to Daisuke, it felt like home. Where he was supposed to be.
Haru's mouth traveled back to Daisuke's lips, the two exchanging kisses and interlocking tongues. The pair had never felt such pleasure before. The fact that they were being so intimate, and not just with anyone, but with the person they had intense feelings for. It lit a fire under the men, and they didn't want to stop, couldn't stop. At this point, it was a need. Each of them had an insatiable hunger for the other one. The only way to get rid of that craving was to push their bodies as close together as they could. Their minds were focused on this one task.
After a few more minutes of this passionate make-out session, Haru looked back down at Daisuke.
"God, you look hot!" He said, seeing Daisuke with red cheeks, saliva (which was probably Haru's) at the side of his mouth, and hands trying to cover his face.
"Hah, I don't think I've ever heard you flatter me," Daisuke said, trying to wipe his mouth.
"I'm not flattering you, it's just the truth. Your hotness is just a fact that I'm going to have to accept. Just like I'm going to have to accept the fact that you make me feel something I've never felt before," Haru said, saying more words than it felt like he said all day. Daisuke smiled, relishing in the words that Haru just said.
"This is the stuff I mean. When I see you smile like this, you look so attractive that I find it hard to stop myself from..." Haru said, not finishing his sentence before Daisuke shut him up with a kiss. Haru, who was still on top of Daisuke at this point, fell back down beside him, wrapping his arms around Daisuke's neck.
"Who asked you to stop?" Daisuke said, a twinkle in his eyes. He reached out, putting a little peck on Haru's forehead.
Releasing his mouth from Haru's head, they sat in silence for a few more minutes.
"You know, Haru..." Daisuke started, grabbing one of Haru's hands and playing with its fingers.
"Hmm?" Haru questioned with half-closed eyes.
"All the stuff you said about me... I could say the same about you. The adorable looks on your face make it really hard to resist you. I really meant it when I said you were trying to seduce me, being in your presence really throws me off. I feel like I'm not myself when I'm around you. You make me want to do things that I normally wouldn't," Daisuke said, making Haru sit up out of curiosity.
"I know that being so vulnerable is hard for you, so just so you know, I'm here for you. If I can do anything to make you feel a little less 'thrown off', just tell me," Haru said, an adorable smile on his face as he caressed one of Daisuke's cheeks.
"You're so stupid-cute, you know that, right?" Daisuke said, smiling and intertwining his fingers with the hand that Haru put on his face.
"Shut up," Haru berated, laughing. He grabbed Daisuke's cheeks and planted a kiss on his forehead. The kiss was so gentle that Daisuke almost didn't feel it, but its presence lingered and Daisuke could feel his cheeks heat up.
"Wait, is that blush I'm seeing on your face?" Haru said, a big smile brightening his face as he took Daisuke's face in his hands and examined it.
"I was just feeling a little hot, that's all," Daisuke said, pouting and turning away from Haru so he couldn't see his face anymore.
"I guess the tables have turned. Deny it all you want, Dai, but I know what I saw. It's kind of adorable, not gonna lie," Haru said, looking a little awkward as he said the last part.
"You always go out of your way to compliment people, Haru. It's sweet," Daisuke whispered, the light blush still not disappearing from his face.
Without any warning, Haru grabbed Daisuke, pulling him into a tight embrace, which earned him a gasp from Daisuke. Haru rested his chin on Daisuke's shoulder, clutching Daisuke's shirt like it was his lifeline. The sudden touch was surprising to Daisuke, but it didn't take him long to wrap his own arms around Haru.
"Where is this coming from, Detective Haru?" Daisuke asked
"I've just wanted to do this for a while, that's all. I don't think I've ever hugged you." Haru said, taking in Daisuke's scent for a minute before moving back to merge his lips with Daisuke's.
The kiss right after the hug that Haru gave him surprised Daisuke. It surprised him so much that he made a sort of a strained squealing sound when Haru's lips made contact with his.
"I didn't know you ever got caught off guard, Mister Kambe," Haru said, raising one eyebrow. He smiled and licked his lips "I like it. It's sexy!"
Daisuke couldn't really believe the personality change that Haru underwent in the short amount of time spent in this cramped space. He seemed more... free, to Daisuke. The change that Haru experienced was not at all unwelcome to Daisuke though. If anything, it turned Daisuke on even more.
He grabbed Haru's thighs and squeezed himself between Haru's legs, hungrily pushing their lips together for the nth time. As their tongues mixed and mingled, Daisuke's hands cupped Haru's face, while Haru's hands went from Daisuke's hair to the back of his neck.
With the intimate feelings they were sharing in this cramped space, Haru decided he wanted to explore a little more. He pushed Daisuke to the ground, evoking a moan of pleasure from Daisuke, and then climbed on top of him.
"I want to be a little rougher with you. Just tell me if anything hurts, m'kay," Haru said, with a look in his eye that told Daisuke that he was in for a wild ride.
Haru pinched Daisuke's lips, forcing his mouth to open, then inserted his tongue inside. The sensation of having someone else control what was happening to him felt a little weird to Daisuke, but it was still something to revel in.
"Hmm... Mmm!" Daisuke exclaimed when Haru started getting more intense.
As soon as he and Haru parted, Daisuke grabbed Haru's hand, picked one of his fingers, and stuck it in his mouth. Haru was startled at first but then smiled.
"You're one horny guy!" Haru said, laughing.
"You're not complaining, are you?" Daisuke said, a slight smirk tugging on the edges of his lips as he looked up at Haru.
"I don't know what I'm supposed to do with you looking at me like that," Haru groaned and, after a while, inserted his finger back into Daisuke's mouth.
He started by rubbing it all over Daisuke's tongue. He bit his lip as he started moving the finger up and down, back and forth, slowly at first as he was trying not to choke him. But soon it got faster. A rush of adrenaline passed through Haru as he saw Daisuke's leg twitch and heard a sexual sound coming from so deep within Daisuke that it almost made him forget that this was Daisuke, the stoic guy that never got attached or showed any weakness. Haru stopped for a second to make sure that Daisuke was doing well.
"You okay, Dai?" Haru asked.
"I'm okay, but I would be even more okay with you inside me," Daisuke said, his tongue out as if he was begging for more
"Daisuke, it's not like you to be so submissive! I'm not saying I don't like this side of you though," Haru said, running his hand through his own hair.
"I'll even beg if you want me to, Detective Haru," Daisuke said, eyes dilated and an unembarrassed shade of crimson creeping up his cheeks.
"I would say no, but if you're offering, then I can't decline, can I?" Haru said, casually shrugging his shoulders, but on the inside, he was screaming.
"Okay then," Daisuke said, sitting up, then getting on his knees, "Please be more aggressive with me, Haru-senpai."
The look on Daisuke's face sent all sorts of feelings rushing through every part of Haru's body.
"If you're insisting..." Haru said, licking his lips. He pinned and started kissing Daisuke while simultaneously unbuttoning Daisuke's dress shirt. Daisuke's hands also made their way to Haru's shirt and removed it from his body, breaking the kiss for a second, but then coming back hungrier.
Haru broke away from Daisuke to thoroughly examine his bare body. Daisuke's lean muscles mesmerized Haru, so much so that he didn't realize that his mouth was on Daisuke's chest until he tasted the salty, smoky sweetness of Daisuke's body.
"Ah, mmm!" Daisuke moaned as Haru's tongue explored all of the peaks and valleys of his body. Haru took his mouth off his body to touch Daisuke's nipples.
"Hng!" Daisuke almost shouted as Haru started sucking them. The heat of Haru's mouth on Daisuke's nipples was almost too much for him.
As Haru licked and sucked, Daisuke wrapped his legs around Haru's torso because, with all of the pleasure he was feeling, he had absolutely no idea what to do with his legs.
Hearing all of the sounds coming from Daisuke, Haru just couldn't resist the urge to bite. He softly bit on Daisuke's nipples, one and then the other. Then, making sure it didn't hurt, he bit harder and then pulled them with his teeth.
As more intense noises were coming from Daisuke, Hari couldn't help but feel immense pleasure and pride in the way that he was making Daisuke feel.
Daisuke's hands landed on the back of Haru's neck as he pressed Haru's head even further into his body, wanting to merge their bodies together.
As soon as Haru released his mouth from Daisuke's body to get some air, he was flipped onto his back by a slightly sweaty, shirtless, starving-looking Daisuke, who climbed on top of him. He whimpered lovingly at Daisuke's touch.
"You're a thirst trap, you know that right?" Haru said, smiling, not the least bit uncomfortable with the situation he was in.
"Yeah, I know. I was just born with the perfect genetics," Daisuke said, smirking and running a hand through his hair.
"Hahaha! You're not wrong though," Haru said, raising one eyebrow.
Daisuke wrapped his hands around Haru's throat earning an erotic sigh from Haru. *This feels so good*.
"You have a choking kink? I'll keep that in mind... for future reference of course." Daisuke said, winking.
"I don't know what I did in this life to deserve you," Haru whispered.
"Hmm? Did you say something?" Daisuke asked.
"Not really, just that I'm happy to have you in my life," Haru said, smiling a big, toothy grin, making Daisuke blush the tiniest bit. To Daisuke, Haru's smiles were the one most perfect thing in the universe. He would trade everything just to see Haru's face light up like that.
"You're really cute," Daisuke said, just before putting his lips to Haru's neck.
Daisuke moved from one part of his neck to another, making sure to leave a trail in his wake. The soft, moist feeling of Daisuke's tongue on his neck sent shivers down Haru's spine. Daisuke's hands gently brushed all over Haru's body, his fingers slowly running over his exposed skin. The touch almost satiated his irrepressible hunger for Daisuke. At this point, Haru didn't even try to keep himself quiet. His moans were loud enough that he felt like he should've gotten noise complaints from the top floor.
"God, am I loving the sounds you make!" Daisuke remarked in between kisses.
As Haru felt the saliva that lingered on his neck, he felt satisfied, like the marks that Daisuke was leaving on him were proof of the fact that this encounter happened. That they both knew how they felt about each other, and that they had spent so much time together, agonizing about those feelings (and acting on them). Realizing all of this,
"Daisuke..." Haru started
"Hmm?" Daisuke hummed, mouth still basically glued to Haru's neck. He felt Haru take a big breath in.
"Daisuke, I love you," Haru said, in one swift exhale.
Daisuke picked his mouth up from where it was on Haru to look down at him for a moment.
"I've been waiting for you to realize this for a while," Daisuke said, smiling a sweet, sad smile "I love you too." He passionately kissed Haru, soaking in the moment.
Breaking the kiss, Haru lightly brushed noses with Daisuke, then touched their foreheads together. Looking into the icy calmness of Daisuke's eyes, Haru felt like he was falling in love once again. They had been working together for about a year now and Haru always knew that he felt some sort of way towards Daisuke. When he was sneaking looks at him over the desk where they worked. Whenever Daisuke would sit next to him and intentionally touch their legs together. When they watched scary movies together and Daisuke would put his hand on top of Haru's until the jump-scares were over.
Haru knew all of this, but refused to accept those feelings, and refused to accept the fact that Daisuke, who seemed like he lived in a completely different world from him, would actually harbor those sorts of feelings.
"Only now did I realize how much I love you," Haru said, still staring deeply into Daisuke's eyes, " I mean, I had inklings of those feelings before, but I didn't think it would be right for me to act on them. I mean, we're on totally different levels from a socioeconomic standpoint. I doubt your family would be too pleased about you loving me."
"Who cares what they think about your 'social class'! The only things that matter are my feelings and yours. I love you, no matter how much money you do or don't have," Daisuke sighed, putting one of his hands on Haru's heart and one on his own, the soft pulse of Haru's heartbeat under his hand setting a rhythm for the two men.
After a while of staring at each other in silence, Daisuke picked his hands up from where they were sitting and let them fall on Haru's shoulders as he locked eyes with him.
"I love you," he said again, "and that's that." Talking as he placed random kisses all over Haru's face, each one as light as a feather. With every kiss, a whispered 'I love you' that Haru hung onto for dear life.
Before he could grasp what was happening, he felt tears drop from his eyes as he took in all of Daisuke's repeated words.
"If you had told me a few hours ago that I would be stuck in an elevator, professing my love to you... honestly... I would probably believe it," Haru said, laughing a little as Daisuke used his thumb to wipe Haru's tears away.
"We've mainly been talking about me and my family, but will your family be okay with this? With me being a guy and all?" Daisuke asked, going back to the topic that they were on as he ran his own hand through Haru's hair.
"I think I'm old enough to not have to ask my family for permission about who I love. Besides, what are they going to do to me if they don't like you? Disown me? I think that's off the table." Haru said, a smile tugging at the corner of his lips.
"That seemed sort of cynical, but I know you didn't mean it that way, right?" Daisuke said, raising one eyebrow
"Yeah, I meant it as a joke, my guy," Haru said, patting Daisuke's shoulder
"That feels weird, stop," Daisuke said, shrugging away Haru's pats
"Why? It's just some comfort, bro," Haru said, a smirk appearing on his face.
"Don't call me bro, Haru," Daisuke said, crossing his arms
"What would you like me to call you?" Haru said, goading Daisuke on
"Just my name, or Dai, or maybe..." Daisuke said, stopping as he felt his face get a little hot
"Or maybe...?" Haru said, enjoying himself
"Maybe... 'Babe' or 'Honey' or something? Just not bro," Daisuke said, barely managing to get the sentence out before his face completely changed its shade.
"Hahaha! Seeing you embarrassed is really new, but it's totally adorable!" Haru said, wiping the laughter tears from his face.
"I see that you're really enjoying my misfortune, you sadist," Daisuke pouted
"There's actually a German word for the feeling of relishing in someone else's suffering, it's schadenfreude," Haru said, still smiling.
"You've done your research, good boy," Daisuke said, clapping sarcastically.
"Okay, I'm done babe," Haru said, just throwing the nickname into the atmosphere with no cares in the world.
"Did you...?" Daisuke said, trying not to let his face heat up.
"Try not to malfunction, babe," Haru said, looking almost concerned. Daisuke knew that Haru wasn't being sarcastic about the 'babe' thing. Not much made Daisuke flustered, but the use of such a cute nickname, by his... honestly Daisuke didn't know what Haru was to him anymore: best friend, boyfriend. He knew what he wanted them to be, though.
A/N - I know this chapter was very long, but I didn't feel like splitting it up into separate chapters. Sorry for any grammar mistakes or just bad writing in general, I just love this ship so much I felt like I had to write something.
I hope you guys enjoyed. And if you have any more ships or ideas you guys like and might want me to do, I'd be happy to try :)
If you liked the story, or have any criticism for it let me know. I know it was not the best thing ever, but it was like my second try at writing fanfiction.
