Chay nearly chokes and spits out a mouthful of water as Kim’s question echos through the empty hallway between Kim’s bedroom and the kitchen.

He wants to respond, but he’s too busy coughing out what feels like one of his lungs and part of his sanity. 

Chay finally manages to croak out a feeble “What?” and looks up to where Kim is now watching him from the kitchen entrance. 

This time, Chay chokes on his tongue. 

A second later Kim is in Chay’s space and pushing Chay’s hand up towards his face. 

“Drink,” says Kim. 

Oh, right. Chay takes a few slow, careful sips from the glass of water he somehow managed to not drop along with his dignity. 

“You okay?”

Chay gives Kim a tiny nod, but then his eyes slide down Kim’s body and – no.

Nope.

Nuh-uh. 

Chay is not okay.

He throws his head back and drains the rest of his water in one gulp. 

“How good are you at knotting?” Kim asks again. 

“... knotting?” Chay repeats weakly. 

Kim uses one had to grasp Chay gently by the wrist and uses his other to take the glass out of Chay’s loose grip. He places the glass onto the kitchen counter and then turns until his back is towards Chay and gently places Chay’s hand on his hip. 

“Can you help me? Every time I tie this, the knot comes loose.”

Chay drags his hand from Kim’s hip to the small of his back and fingers the smooth ribbon lacing of Kim’s corset.

“Sure,” coughs Chay. “Can you just… not call it knotting?”

“Should I have asked you to tie me up instead?”

Chay can hear the smile in Kim’s voice. 

Just for that, Chay wordlessly pulls the ribbon tight, cinching Kim’s waist. A surprised breathy exhale from Kim’s lips make Chay pause. 

“Yes?” Chay says.

“Yes.” Kim agrees.

Hi, hello, I'm sorry for barging in unexpectedly, but I just wanted to tell you that your and @slug-ball's ideas about Emma-May/Stan have bewitched me body and soul, and I maaayyyy (read: definitely) have already sketched some stuff and outlined a lil au fic idea for them 😳💖💖💖

Not sure if you've ever heard "Feel Again" by OneRepublic, but I listened to it again recently and it fits them SO well imo, like, verse 1 = Stan's POV, verse 2 = Emma-May's POV, then of course the chorus = both together and I just AAAAAAAAAA I CAN'T STOP THINKING ABOUT IT AAAAAAAAA

Even tho we know very little about her, I feel like Emma-May's narrative is almost as tragic as Fidds' is, and I wish we could get more info about her and I wish she wasn't such an ignored/forgotten character and uuuggghhh it's so frustrating. BUT I can really see potential for a pairing of her and Stan cuz they're both such damaged, hurting souls and the idea of them coming together to help each other heal from their respective trauma is just so *chef's kiss* to me, hhhhhhhh 😍 (Also I just feel like Stan was MADE to be a step-dad figure, lol.)
