when the child hugged him, his eyes widened. “..dear, i promise you, this is not my child—” he said, wanting to make things clear up for you so that you won’t overthink. 

“hey, zhongli,” you rested your palm on his cheeks to make him look up to you. “it’s okay. i know that and i trust you, okay?”

zhongli smiled. this is one of the main reasons why he loves you. you’re so understanding and seem to be so perfect for him, as if he doesn’t deserve you. zhongli kissed you on your lips despite the child looking at the two of you.

“i love you,” he said. 

“i love you more.” you smiled. “now we go find the child’s parents, okay?”

xiao’s jaw dropped when the little girl hugged him tightly with a cute smile carved on her lips. 

“oh? i thought you don’t like mortals?” you jokingly made your tone serious. “i didn’t know that your dislikes with mortals would make you come inside someone else’s womb?”

“b–but i also have a clear memory and i haven’t done whatever you’re saying—come inside someone else’s womb.” he defended himself, still quite flustered because he got somewhat overwhelmed.

you giggled. “i’m joking, xiao. but you haven’t had…” your mouth mouthed sex, trying to control your language in front of the kid. “with someone..?” you whispered.

“shut it, (y/n).” his face reddened, and you proceeded laughing at him yet found him adorable.

“you–” you tilted your head in confusion. you knew kaeya loved you so much, and he proved it to you that you’re his everything. let’s say you were having trust issues (just quite) when you saw the little girl hugging him tightly.

“there is no actual way that she’s your daughter.” you continued your sentence.

“she is,” kaeya said, looking at the cute little girl. “in fact, she’s my third daughter.”

you also knew that kaeya was a man who tells RIDICULOUS jokes. you glared at him—not just glared—death glare would fit nicely.

“i’m joking, darling.” he kissed the side of your forehead. “you know i couldn’t do that. i love you.”

your lips curved into a smile. you’re very down bad to him, and it’s making you insane.

“dear,” he looked at you sadly, afraid that you might get clouded with your emotions, and you would misunderstand it. “it’s not what you think—”

you smiled, making baizhu’s stomach drop. “i know, i know.” you kissed his head to assure him that you wouldn’t think anything differently.

“i want you to explain this, though..” you added, slightly with a frown.

“i’ve never experienced this until now,” he sighed. “this little girl must be lost and i might look like her dad.”

you smiled. “okay. we’ll look for her parents together.”

his facial expression softened at your retort. you had no idea how much baizhu felt you’re an angel coming from the heavens. he kissed you on your forehead. “alright. i love you.”

“eh—” his face reddened when the little girl clinged to him. “d-do i look like a father—?”

you shrugged, trying not to laugh.

“are you mad?” he asked. itto didn’t want to show his face. it hinted at a slight terrified look. he didn’t want to lose you.

you shrugged again, refusing to reply.

“t—this is not mine! i—i swear!” he stammered. the panic in his face started to be visible. “i—i don’t even remember liking someone else…”

“i was just joking. of course i trust you.” you laughed, kissing his cheek. he blinked rapidly as his face became redder and redder. 

oh, he looked so cute.

“whose child is this?” albedo asked, furrowing his eyebrows in confusion. 

you blinked. “shouldn't i be the one asking? the little girl called you her daddy.”

albedo shrugged. “don’t remember having sexual intercourse with someone else.”

you sighed. you were kinda expecting albedo to give you slight affection just to prove that he wouldn’t do anything like this with someone else, and he only liked you. well… this is albedo for you.

“okay.” you slightly frowned. “let’s find her parents.” 

albedo looked at you, inserted you with a soft smile. “i love you. i hope that clears your mind.”

albedo also knew how to read someone else’s mind.

“why are you ignoring her?” you asked.

“not my child.” he deadpanned. 

“give her affection, you silly.” you laughed. 

“i ain’t going to do something that would make you mad.” he declared. “i love you but you’re kinda hard to please. it’s hard to apologize to you when you’re mad or disappointed.” 

you couldn’t help but laugh. you hugged cyno from the back and kissed his cheek. “i love you too. i’m not going mad, baby.”

cyno smiled, but he couldn’t help but sigh after. “alright.”

"too bad. if this is our little girl, she would definitely be spoiled." he sneered, kissing your cheek.

this what made you love him. he's so perfect. you love him and how he makes you calm down. you enjoyed his kiss with a smile, shutting his eyes. 

"you want babies?" you teased.

"as long as they're ours, my love." 

you smiled sweetly, kissing him on his lips. "find her parents. i'll stay here to buy the stuff you need."

"okay, love you." he smiled. dainsleif whispered something to the little girl that made the two of them wave at you as they disappeared to your sight.

I wish I was a teen in the early 2000s too. I was one in the late 2000s\2010s. So I was just a kid in the early 00s so I only remember like Barbies and cartoons and all the random toys that came out. And specifically remember purple and green ketchup. I tried both. I know being a teen or young adult at the time was totally different. I looked up to Paris Hilton and Anna Nicole Smith as a child. I shouldn't have, but I adored them. Yes! My husbands! I am so proud of you for doing something that would benefit you and your mental wellbeing. You shouldn't feel bad, I understand it's so hard to end a friendship and you didn't want to hurt their feelings but it's the best thing you could do for yourself. It's really important to put yourself first just to maintain your sanity and wellbeing. You are not a bad person at all. I hope it sparks all the creativity and you create beautiful art on it. a/n: hey besties i’ve been wanting to write something forever but school has been kicking my butt soooo here’s this lol <3 mwaaaah

Spencer rolled over in his sleep unconsciously feeling around the mattress seeking your warmth only to be met with nothing but cool and empty bed sheets. He quickly shot up from his previous position, and all desire for sleep abruptly vanished. The both of you had recently got home from an extremely tiresome case, so why hadn’t you been in bed? You never were one to wake up due to nocturia, not that he can currently recall anyway. 

“y/n?” he softly called, face scrunching up filled with confusion as he received no acknowledgment. he quickly rubbed away his sleep before looking around your shared bedroom and noticing the tiny sliver of light peeking through the bathroom, there you were. he turned to his bedside table with a small yawn, the clock reading, 4:45. 

He softly knocked on the door before entering, his face falling at the sight of you, Spencer didn’t know what he been expecting to see walking into the bathroom but it definitely wasn’t to see you clung to your toilet bowl with a vibrant shade of red against cheeks and a light sheen of sweat along your forehead. “Darling, may I ask why you're laying on the floor? It’s nearly five in the morning.” 

“I threw up. now, get out you don’t need to see me like this” you simply waved him off rubbing your hands along your face, letting out a painfully long groan, the sound seemed to have been endless for you tonight. 

“Nope, sickness and health. Remember?” he reminded you of the vows you both took just three months prior from this very moment. He softly laid the back of his hand against your skin, before softly speaking once again.  “come on. you’re burning up let’s get you back into bed” 

“I think we need to get you into some new clothes, you seem to have sweat right through these, does that sound good to you?” you sluggishly walked out of the bathroom mumbling an unintelligible before response heading toward your shared bedroom thinking of all the times you were in good health and took it for granted, never again. 

It was truly rare for you to ever get sick like ever there was a time when everyone on the team had got the flu apart from you. You were always taking care of your body, continuously practicing healthy diets and exercises, if it hadn't been for you all spencer would consume would've been a ridiculous amount of caffeine, take-out, and the occasional bag of trail mix. Continuously lecturing him on how ‘his body was a temple, it should be taken care of properly’. So, it had been a shock to you both that you could've gotten this under the weather.  

You watched as Spencer plugged in your humidifier placing it on your bedside table before standing in front of you, a small and comforting smile laid across his soft features, what did you do in your past life for you to deserve a man like him in your life, you thought. A pang of sudden guilt washed over you, and another frustrated groan left your lips,  “god, this is so shitty. I’m sorry you have to deal with this” 

“Don’t apologize. It isn’t your fault ” 

“Ijust don’t want to be—”

“Sickness and health” he sang, happily cutting you off. You shot him a sharp glare before ungracefully sitting on the edge of your mattress, the springs creaking at the additional weight. The both of you had been together for quite a while before the marriage and he certainly has taken care of you while sick or tipsy especially, so he understood what he was dealing with but it didn't stop you from feeling guilty and embarrassed. 

“Arms up” you quickly let out an exaggerated groan as you followed his request and lazily lifted your arms above your head, the cold air against your bare skin felt oddly comforting. 

“You know, if you wanted to get me naked you could’ve just asked. I would've done so gladly” you joked earning a playful eye roll from him. The cool air was quickly replaced by the soft fabric of an oversized t-shirt. 

“Hilarious, any other time I’d take you up on that offer. I’m gonna get you some orange juice, you get comfortable? Staying well-rested and having some form of throat lozenge is the quickest way to get over the flu” he stated, waiting for you to get yourself situated into bed. 

 “Which I found in the medicine cupboard, so here” he placed the advil bottle and a small mug into each of your hands before wandering off to the opposite side of the bed. 

“Thanks” he crawled into his side of the bed murmuring yet another brief I love you and goodnight. You stared at the ceiling with an endless amount of thoughts running through your mind, causing your apprehensions to grow bigger by the second as you sat in that damn intolerable silence.

After about five minutes you decided to break it with a weak, “Spence I think I’m dying” 

“Sweetheart, no, you’re definitely not dying. This isn’t some plague, it’s probably just the flu, you know it’s been going around the office.” he softly spoke, turning to face you a toothless grin spread across his face. 

“Baby, no! I’m serious. If I die while I’m sleeping, I want you to know that I love and adore everything about you even when I’m mad at you”. He truly made an effort to contain himself from laughing but failed miserably. 

“Don’t laugh at me!” you wined. 

“I’m sorry! I love you too y/n i’m sorry to disappoint you but, you’re not dying. Okay?” he held open his arms for you, waiting for you to accept his embrace. which you did, appreciating the tight hold he had on you, 

“How about I read to you, to help you sleep?” he suggested. This wouldn’t be the first time and it definitely would not be the last, for some reason, the gentle tone of his voice always seemed to soothe you and put you out within seconds. 

“My favorite?” you asked he playfully groaned in response, obviously was no aficionado of the extremely cheesy and unrealistic love story between a century-old vampire and a seventeen-year-old girl but, who was he to tell you no?

“I’d never given much thought to how i would die— though I’d had reason enough in the last few months— but even if I had, I would not have imagined….” he reads your eyelids beginning to grow heavy, the to grow sleep slowly starting to take over you. The sound of Spencer’s voice slowly began to fade out into nothing, he continued to read through the preface and one paragraph in the first chapter before realizing you were out cold. 

Another laugh slipping past his lips, “Goodnight my love” placing a gentle kiss against your hot skin and allowing himself to fall asleep yet again.
