Imagine Steve just watching Eddie and Chrissy with that #yearning thinking he's jealous of Eddie. But PLOT TWIST he's jealous of both of them

Imagine Chrissy being confident when she's not around Jason because she isn't suffocating under his standards, so she takes on a similar role to Nancy, and when the group gets attacked and Eddie and Steve are freaking out she just. Goes feral and the boys are like :0

All That Matters

Disclaimer: I’m trying a new way of doing this where I listen to the whole thing first, then go back and listen again while recording my thought. It just seems more efficient to me, and honestly lets me enjoy the song better.

Before listening: guys obviously I already know this is about Yang and Blake, I’ve been on this site for a while. Also I know it played during the hug scene in the finale.

-longer instrumental issue than normal but I love it

-Casey’s voice is so damn gorgeous

-”never thought that you would stay forever” Yang just has grown accustomed to people leaving eventually and that hurts me

-”the look that makes me hope i’ll just believe your lies” oh so this is what we’re doing. This isn’t a conversation like Like Morning Follows Night, this is very one-sided. We know how Blake feels about hurting and leaving Yang, but she doesn’t. hnnnnnngggg this song is going to hurt me

-Wait no actually, more to say on that, that line implies that Yang is so desperate to have Blake back again that she is willing to put aside what she interprets as Blake’s excuses for leaving her, hoping she can do that so everything can go back to how it used to be

-Okay the chorus. “I never know if you’ll come through” aaaaaahhhhh Yang had already been let down by Blake before (albeit shortly) when she didn’t believe at first that Yang hadn’t attacked Mercury

-There is SOME SONG that I can’t find that has the lines “you’re lost, you’re found, your heart’s on the ground” or something like that someone come through what is it, it’s driving me crazy

-”together we’re here, and that’s all that matters somehow” title drop reinforcing my earlier point

-Here comes the added instruments, true RWBY style

-”thought that I could pull you from the shadows, maybe help you find your wings and fly” oKAy so first obvious From Shadows reference, when Blake was still a “misguided youth” and White Fang, probably also a reference to that volume 2 scene you know the one. Second, I KNEW there was a specific RWBY song this one reminded me of, and it was Wings. All the way back in volume 1, and the only other Blake-related slow song we’ve gotten. 

-”My past mistakes repeated, I’ll risk it once again to have you near my side” hrrrrrggggg aGAIN with Yang willing to do anything to have Blake back. also this implies Yang blames herself for everyone leaving her

-”I feel like I’m running out of energy, while you just take everything in stride” I... really don’t know what to make of this line, other than noting it for that fact that I can’t make sense of it. I feel like I would expect those two described reactions to apply to the opposite girl.

-”the way I feel to you is no big deal” A) y’all already KNOW I love those dang harmonies B) blatantly proving my point and it’s painful

-”the one thing I can count on is that I can’t count on you” AAAAAAHHH MY HEART

-that soft guitar was really nice

FUCK MAN that was one of the most beautiful songs to come out of this show. I mean it was kinda depressing and like no, Yang, stop assuming the worst, but also 100000/10 it was incredible
