ᯓ translation of an interview of Isack Hadjar by GQ France
Isack Hadjar: "I really want to battle with Lewis Hamilton on the track."
Despite his F1 rookie status, Isack Hadjar isn't planning on just playing a supporting role. The young French driver tells us about his expectations for his debut.
How far away the golden age of French motorsport seems. Prost's four world championship titles, Jacques Lafitte's car that caused a stir at the 1977 Swedish Grand Prix... But 2025 could be the season of renewal for the French, with the arrival of the man some are already nicknamed "little Prost." Since his victories in F3 and his vice-champion title in Formula 2 last season, Isack Hadjar has impressed the world of motorsport. Today, he arrives at the Visa Cash App Racing Bulls team full of ambition.
Just before the first Grand Prix of the season in Australia, GQ met with the Franco-Algerian driver at the Paris headquarters of Red Bull, one of his sponsors, to discuss pressure, challenges, and mental preparation. Will this season be the French's? Here are some answers, with Isack Hadjar already eager to battle it out with Lewis Hamilton.
How are you feeling a few weeks before your very first Grand Prix in Melbourne?
I'm exhausted. But the physical preparation in Qatar went very well. Right now, I'm making new discoveries. For example, I met my entire team, and that's a lot of people all at once. Nearly 700 people for an F1 team like ours!
Is it important to build connections before the season?
It's fundamental. Even though I have known part of the team since I was a reserve last year, it's vital to introduce myself, go talk to people, and start building a bond. I've always managed to bring people together because I'm someone who cares about others. I don't force myself. I rely 100% on my team, and we're all working towards the same goal. You have to take care of your mechanics! I'll be seeing them more than my loved ones this season. (laughs)
Do you feel physically and mentally ready?
The thing I quickly understood, which may seem obvious, is that the constraints are not the same in F2 and F1. It's almost a new sport. In F2, you don't have power steering, and it's super heavy. It's a truck. The G-force (gravitational force, which is a unit of measurement for acceleration, editor's note) produced in F1 is something else! Your head moves a lot because it's the only part that isn't attached. You have to be more core-tight, the efforts are much longer, and it's terribly hot in the cockpit.
So you had to work on your neck more?
I've strengthened it a lot to withstand these new constraints. It's a muscle like any other, and I'm working on its resistance. My preparation also included a lot of running outings to develop a rock-solid cardio. Besides that, I also have a mental coach. He helps me focus on performance rather than danger, using mental imagery.
Don't you think about danger when you're a driver?
Strangely, even though I practice a dangerous sport, I never think about risks. This work is done before the race weekend. During it, I have tools. I prepare for several scenarios, which I accept, even if they're terrible. I also work on my ability to move on quickly.
How did you find out you were moving to F1?
Just after the disappointment in Abu Dhabi (Isack stalled at the start of the race, thus missing out on his chance to become F2 world champion, editor's note), Helmut Marko, one of the Red Bull team directors, called me and simply said, "You have to come to Italy to sign some papers." That's when I understood. It was 6 a.m., I was in bed, and I went back to sleep. Then I called my mother, who is also my manager.
Without beating around the bush, what are your goals for this first season?
I'm going to try to stand out. There are drivers who have that extra something, others who don't. I'm thinking of Ayrton Senna, for example, who was spectacular on the track. I'm going to try to achieve that something. Especially since I know I won't have the best car, so I'll have to succeed in showing off. It also comes down to my personality, even if it can sometimes be taken the wrong way to display a strong personality in sport. (He smiles). I'm outspoken; sometimes it pleases, and sometimes it displeases. I also have a new resolution: to press the radio button less. I have no choice if I don't want to get fired!
What are you most looking forward to this season?
The Japanese Grand Prix (on April 6th, editor's note). I think this circuit is incredible, but I can't stop thinking about my first F1 start, too. I'm already thinking about it a lot, and the pressure is mounting. I see myself on the grid, the anticipation is unbearable, surrounded by the best drivers in the world... It's going to be crazy!
What does continuing your adventure with Red Bull mean to you?
It's a powerful experience; they're loyal, and that reassures me. It's a very good school. I've been in their program for four years, and I feel really well supported. But the challenge is enormous. I'm aware of that. There are circuits I don't even know, so we'll have to use the little downtime during the season to prepare, work, and improve.
Tell us about your teammate, Yuki Tsunoda. Is it team spirit or competition that matters most to you?
F1 is simple: you have two cars per team, and you have to score as many points as possible. The work goes twice as fast if you work together. I'm going to learn from Yuki, who welcomed me very well; he's an excellent teammate.
How do you manage the expectations surrounding your arrival in F1?
I put more pressure on myself, and I've never felt that pressure from others. I'm not wired that way, and my mindset is very clear. I just don't want to disappoint. There are a lot of factors I don't control, but in my head, I tell myself I'm the best. And I tell myself that every morning! (laughs) You should know that I'm obsessed with my sport. It's not a passion; it's much more than that. Not a day goes by without me watching a driver's onboard camera at a Grand Prix. That's all I do!
You're now competing with drivers you grew up watching on TV. Is it hard to go from fan to rival?
Out of respect, I tell myself I have to eat them up on the track! Lewis Hamilton, for example, is one of my idols. I have to fight with him, if I can. To think that I'm arriving in F1 the season he signs for Ferrari... I still have trouble realizing it.
Describe your dream scenario for this season?
My first accidental victory! It would take a pretty crazy planetary alignment for me to win a race this season, but I believe in it!

My other reaction to all the college admissions hoopla is that my Common App essay was literally about how much I loved Alexander Hamilton (3 years before the musical came out for the record); we were all obnoxious at 17 and it's a terrible development that kids' most insufferable moments are being immortalized online for adults to ridicule when bored at work.

f1 boys as 1989 songs
thought i could only follow up reputation with 1989 of course! i can only add 10 pics on the app, so i picked the 10 drivers i thought best fit my favorite songs on the album! lmk if you agree or any other albums you want to see! 🩵
Lando Norris
Wonderland
For this one, I’m picturing like a fling with Lando. Like you have an amazing time together in “wonderland” where you love so hard but in the end it doesn’t work out. With all the attention Lando gets, “there were strangers watching” would put pressure on the relationship and it would all fall apart. Also “you flashed your green eyes at me” would fit with his greenish blue eyes. Like I can just picture it all falling apart dramatically after a long relationship. “We both went mad,” like you both are torn up about it? Idk I just think it fits Lando.

Max Verstappen
I Know Places
Max generally strikes me as a kind of private guy. He would want to hide away with you from the public eye, not dragging you into all the criticism that comes with being a wag. If you know places to hide, he would be totally happy to run away with you wherever you wanted to go. I feel like the “lights flash we’ll run for the fences” line really fits, like both of you trying to hide from the prying eyes of the media. Like everyone wants to be him and find him and you’ll keep him away for yourself.”

Charles Leclerc
Style
Like you would definitely be the most stylish and the it couple of f1. “Can’t keep his wild eyes on the road,” like driving through Monaco with him in his Ferrari? And I definitely see the “daydream look in your eye” with Charles as well. His eyes are stunning. You would dominate the media together, never going out of style and always being the people everyone can’t help but look at as you walk down the street. Just a stunning couple with stunning style.

Carlos Sainz
Bad Blood
Ok so I’m picturing a lovers to rivals situation with Carlos! Like you start out madly in love with him, but you break up and become rivals on track and off track. I could see him betraying you and having this sort of intense rivalry. And then maybe he tries to make up with you but “bandaids can’t fix bullet holes.” Like come on, I feel like it fits really well. Especially the way he basically started a one way rivalry with Oscar, like that but romantic? If you get it you get it.

Lewis Hamilton
All You Had To Do Was Stay
So what if he had left you years ago when he was young but realized after dating other people that you were truly the one for him? Like he’s a changed man now, he realized that he had left the best person in his life behind? But you moved on too, “now you say you want it back now that it’s just too late.” Like trying to put the pieces of what you had back together. I just feel like it fits with the character development Lewis has had throughout the years.

Daniel Ricciardo
Is it Over Now?
Ok hear me out, like I can just picture Danny Ric moving on and just being a playboy right? But you want him to come back to you because deep down you both still care about each other. In the end, you are meant for each other but you have to go through “300 takeout coffees later.” Like both of you trying to move on and wondering if your relationship ever truly ended or if you are still meant for each other. Also Daniel just screams “flashing lights.” Like I just picture him running back after going separate ways and I just picture him when I hear this song.

Alex Albon
Wildest Dreams
I’m feeling Alex as the “so tall and handsome as hell,” man that you can’t stop longing for after you go separate ways. Like you and him waking separate ways as the sun sets? And you hoping he still thinks about you as he lives his life. Like he would hurt to leave behind and it would be a soft and passionate departure. You can’t help but see him in your “wildest dreams.” So many memories with Alex would be hard to leave behind.

Logan Sargeant
New Romantics
Imagine like a crazy, wild relationship with Logan. He already gets so much hate, but imagine he just doesn’t care when he’s with you. Like you both build a “castle from all the bricks they threw at me.” You both just enjoy living life together and revel in all the hate that the fans and media throw at you. But when you’re together “every night is like a dream.” You just live your best life, entirely unbothered. Just an incredible life with Logan by your side

Lance Stroll
Out of the Woods
I feel like this song fits with taking a chance on a relationship with Lance. I think it would take a while to really see his sweet side in a relationship, but once you did, you would be inseparable from him. Like that stage of taking a chance on a guy who is so in the spotlight and often talked down on would be hard, so getting “out of the woods” would be seeing the success of your mutual efforts finally come together and having the time of your life with him. When the “monsters turned out to be just trees,” it would be like all the hate isn’t true and he really is the perfect man for you.

Fernando Alonso
Blank Space
I feel like if anyone has a crazy ex, it would be Fernando Alonso. Like imagine he dumps you, you would try to keep driving him crazy. I feel like the “boys only want love if it’s torture” fits well, like he would enjoy the game of both of you trying to make the other regret the breakup. He would definitely “love the game” of toying with you and you messing with him back. Like both of you just trying desperately to make the other jealous and ruin their lives. Lowkey I want to write a fic about this now.

Jefferson Headcanons:
•he developed an allergy to coconut anything
•which happened to be one of his favorite fruits AND flavors to anything
•did many sports in hs and had scholarships going for him
•ended up getting a leg injury and couldn’t play the sports, ruining the sport scholarships
•hamilton caused that injury (now he’s just extra petty to hamilton, and no one else)
•totally spoiled and had daddy’s money
•despite that also had rlly strict and controlling parents
•to throw them off he would say he’s going out with madison, because his parents just assumed that would be a rlly small hangout and never ever did they think it was smth else
•absolutely despised james first girlfriend dolley
•and she hated him right back
•despite his hatred for hamilton he got along amazingly with almost every other person in that friend group (we all know about Laff but ironically enough he was also rlly good friends w Herc)
•and of course the schuyler sisters (he was really close with angelica and peggy)
•he’s Bi, but refused to believe it due to how his parents raised him so he just went through an odd amount of girlfriends
•hamilton and reynolds called him a and a s1ut once in an argument before he came out to them, and told them later that’s why (very aggressively might i add)and later in life, when what happened came out w hamilton and mariah he didn’t hate on mariah but rather hamilton and reynolds using that right back at them
•also found out he was bi when angelica pointed out he might like madison half jokingly and then continued with it
•and he denied it until eliza told him madison liked him
•had dyslexia and ocd (i think this was true forgive me if im wrong)
•and then HC for me he had adhd but i didn’t wanna seem like too much so like HC wtvr u want
•he used to be a really quiet and shy kid, but his father kept putting him in social situations so he would get over it so eventually he did but he still was still a tiny bit awkward wether it be with eye contact or just conversation with newer people
•hence why he keeps the whole louder and somewhat self centered persona, to pull off of the fact that he would have a hard time conversating
•that’s another reason he HATED hamilton, because it came so natural to hamilton to be social (for the most part)
alr u can ask for more if u want but on other apps and acc and stuff in using im getting stuff sent in so u can request stuff here. (all of these weren’t sent in only some)

Kai no Kiseki - English Summary - Act 3 Kevin Route 3
Table of Contents
FINALLY NO 4SPGS
Kevin 3 begins with him aboard the Merkavah II Unit 5, en route to Creil, where nearly 100 Iscariots and Ashladd have also been deployed. Upon arriving near Creil, Kevin comments that the Picnic group visited two years ago, and then shares that Hamilton had been there earlier that morning.
Engaging in conversation with other Septian Church workers, one named Caesar reveals that they also retrieved the rental vehicle they had borrowed from Tharbad.
At the Grim Garten, Lapis notes that she cannot see Renne or Agnes, and Kevin remarks that Celis and Leon are conspicuously missing as well.
While on the road, they encounter Lila from Liberl's ZCF, along with Zita, Ashen, Lucrezia, Mint, and Rixia. Rufus and Mint share a humorous exchange, where her engineering blunders come to light, and Rufus recalls fixing a past issue during the Babel Incident, having been tipped off in advance by Professor Schmidt and Makarov.
Mint then meets the Picnic group, affectionately calling Nadia "Naa-chan" and referring to Lapis as "LapiLapi," much to Lapis’ irritation.
She also dubs Kevin "Negihamu" or "Onion Ham Head," which irks him as well. Gotti and Marielle soon join the group, with Marielle explaining that she came to confirm the future entrusted to her by Dingo.
Rixia and Lucrezia draw their weapons against Kevin and the Picnic group, stating that while they do not wish to fight, they cannot allow them to proceed.
After the battle concludes, Kevin permits everyone to accompany him in confronting the truth. At Ground Zero in Creil Village, Lila's Xipha app detects radiation, an app developed by Erica Russell. Mint mentions that she possesses a similar app created by George Nome. After the group disperses to explore Creil Village, Kevin tells the Picnic group that he had visited Creil Village a decade ago to retrieve a specific "Artifact." The group decides to visit different areas to pay their respects, though Lapis internally reflects on how, as a technological singularity robot intelligence, she feels neither loneliness nor sorrow over the village's destruction.
When talking to Gotti, he expresses his desire to honor the village by making a tribute movie. He recounts hearing from locals about an odd humanoid statue on the village outskirts during a movie shoot in Creil last year. Kevin admits that he was the one who retrieved it. Gotti then asks Kevin to elaborate on the statue so he can create a fitting tribute. Kevin reveals that he doesn’t fully understand its origins, but suspects it to be a remnant of spirit worship from before the Great Collapse and ancient Zemurian civilization.
Near the market ruins, the group speaks with Mint and Ashen, and they are all astonished by the complete absence of any trace of the market—it's as if it never existed. Lapis reminisces about eating a delicious apple and playing with children in the area. Swin adds that the group stayed in Creil for a month, and it became like a second home to them.
At Ground Zero, they find Marielle reflecting on the devastation caused by the nuclear explosion.
Rixia, deeply disturbed by the brutality of the event and the lack of human remains, asks Kevin if she can accompany him, clarifying that both she and Ashen are neutral and do not oppose his group. By talking to Rixia, the group learns that she must confront what lies ahead as Yin, with someone important waiting for her back in Crossbell. Lucrezia, similarly determined, says she wants to see things through to the end, even though the Society has no direct conflict with Hamilton. She reveals that her friend’s family, particularly Dominique, has a connection to Hamilton, and she wishes to uncover the truth behind their relationship. Marielle asks to join as well, but before any decisions are made, Lapis suddenly finds herself transported to Creil’s past—October 15th, 1208, at 11:45 AM.
As she walks through the past, she encounters three children she played with during her previous visit. Strangely, she also finds the present-day Marielle trapped in the past with her. Both Lapis and Marielle are abruptly returned to the present, and Lapis finally understands the true weight of loss after seeing the children who are no longer alive. Despite everything, she takes solace in knowing that at least Rashkar is still alive.
Marielle once again asks if she can accompany the group, but Kevin refuses. However, Rufus, to her surprise, insists she joins them, stating she too has the qualifications to witness the truth. On the hilltops, they encounter Celis, Rion, Naje, Sherid, and Hamilton, all praying and offering their thoughts to Creil Village, singing a hymn composed by Dominique Lancaster. Meanwhile, back at the village's ground level, the rest of the group is also engaged in prayer. This hymn has been passed down through generations, though it is revealed that it was actually created by Aramis, while Dominique learned it from Sheena Dirke herself.
Swin is shocked that the elderly woman had connections to such historical figures. Lucrezia finds it amusing that the First Generation Grimcat had a close relationship with Sheena.
Hamilton explains that after the events of Memento Orb 1 (Dominique’s backstory), Sheena helped Dominique transform her life from crime to singing, though Dominique led a double life. Another influential figure encouraged her to continue her past ways, aka Epstein. Rufus and Kevin greet Hamilton, but Rufus feels the exchange is one-sided, as Hamilton already knows about them. She confirms this, stating she was aware of the Elysium issue and Lapis being removed as its administrator.
The group discusses how Novartis is attempting to break into the Grim Garten to uncover the advancements in Marduk's technology. Kevin inquires about Hamilton's relationship with Sheena Dirke, and Hamilton explains that her mentor was none other than Claude Epstein, creator of the Trion Tower. That Hamilton, Sheena, and Liliya Epstein were key stakeholders in its construction.
The Alter Core then reveals a flashback of a younger Hamilton, Liliya, Dominique, and an adult Sheena Dirke, now with blonde hair (just in case you thought she had blue hair).
In this memory, Epstein gifts Dominique the Grimcat transformation device, though Dominique feels it's excessive for simply assisting with surveying for Trion Tower. The girls reassure her it's appropriate, considering how urbanization will unfold in the future. Epstein even offers to teach Dominique how to repair it, leaving its use up to her discretion.
Celis and Leon confirm this is different from Nina’s powers, and Hamilton clarifies that rather than witnessing a memory, they experienced the past itself—57 years ago—when Dominique received the Phantom Night Compact. Everyone had truly witnessed the events unfold in real-time. Hamilton identifies herself as the creator of the Alter Core.
Kevin, trying to comprehend the situation, asks how Hamilton could tamper with causality, something thought to be impossible. Rufus, equally curious, asks if Hamilton's ability to create impossible things, like the Remnants, ties into Gramheart’s plan. Hamilton reveals that Project Laeveteinn will soon be enacted, and depending on its outcome, the world could either end or be reborn. However, she clarifies that human souls are not "lost" in the process, suggesting it could be seen as a gospel.
Yet she insists that if people knew the whole truth, they wouldn’t accept it. Gramheart’s goal, she explains, is to find a solution through the power of human will to break free of their bonds.
Hamilton promises to remain inactive until she can confirm if Gramheart succeeds. She admits that the Remnants and Alter Cores were merely a "failsafe" or "insurance." She also confesses to spreading the Octo-Genesis throughout Calvard, knowing it would fall into the hands of Almata’s evil, yet she chose to watch from the sidelines. Additionally, she admits to manipulating Dingo Brad, exploiting his crisis for her benefit, even though he continued to help her after his death to verify the Eighth Genesis for the mission.
Swin accuses Hamilton of sitting idly by while Ace was impersonated, leading to Lapis being taken during Kuro 2. The group draws their weapons, declaring they can no longer overlook her crimes. Lucrezia then questions why Ixs left and what became of Arioch and Olympia. Hamilton admits she doesn’t fully understand Ixs’s situation, but hints that one of Lucrezia’s old acquaintances is involved in something else. Lucrezia simply nods in understanding.
At that moment, Celis, Rion, Sherid, and Naje, powered by the Alter Core, try to stop Kevin and the Picnic group from reaching Hamilton. Kevin declares that he is now on a Heretic Hunt.
After defeating them, Kevin readies his crossbow to aim at Hamilton, but Swin intervenes, insisting they still need to speak with her. Kevin, however, counters that this is why he never wanted to bring Swin and Nadia along in the first place.
Suddenly, the Picnic group and Kevin are ambushed by three Remnants dressed in white, overpowering them. One, dressed in teal, uses magic and speaks like a poet or artist; another, in purple, wields a sword and speaks like a commander; and the third, the Yellow Masked Knight, fights with a style reminiscent of Elaine's something that Rufus even notes during his brief fight, and she even strikes a pose that mirrors the one Nina took during her role as "Sheena Dirke" in the GLORIA: la revue play.
The chapter ends just as the countdown reaches zero, signaling the rocket launch. Hamilton watches closely, deciding to see whether or not the “Sword” will indeed destroy the “Cradle.”

YOU KNOW I'M GOING TO ANSWER THEM ALL BESTIE
3- ok so my process is basically non-existent, but i'll walk you through it anyway. so i'll have an idea for a scene literally at any point. sometimes it can be a single sentence or sometimes it can be a vague concept, but i always write it down. if i have my phone it's almost always going in my notes app. from there, i just kind of expand on the idea as it develops when i get back to my laptop. i tend to write the exciting and important scenes first in a very rough fashion, and then go back to fill in the blanks. then i go back and polish by combing over it for grammar mistakes and adding a few more details. that's pretty much it!
11- OOO! i'll do three for hamilton and three for jcs to appease both sides
FAV HAMILTON FICS AT THE MOMENT ARE a more perfect union by holograms (thanks to crys for introducing me to THIS), the monticello furlough by michelle_a_emerlind, and death of a nation by cyanspica

19- my most used rating tag is mature, my most tagged ship is hamilton/laurens, my most tagged character is hamilton (obv lol), and my most used additional tag is hurt/comfort
20- i use a lot of rain imagery i think. actually i use a lot of weather imagery bc i'm annoyinggg. and then ofc i use aspects of my trauma in most of my fics (even ones you wouldn't suspect) but no one really would pick up on that since y'all don't know, but themes of abuse are certainly littered through out. obviously biblical imagery, too. i can't think of any phrases, SO IF YOU KNOW OF SOME THAT YOU NOTICED I'VE USED A LOT LEMME KNOW.
24- the worst advice i've ever gotten is if you're stuck, delete everything and start over. absolutely not. you can start over, but i wouldn't ever delete anything. even if i don't use lines in one fic, i can always recycle and put it somewhere else. NEVER DELETE. YOU'LL REGRET IT. TAKE MY WORD FOR IT.
33- YES I WANT TO BE PUBLISHED. i have so many original novel ideas and i want to write southern gothic literature so badly. i doubt it will ever happen but that's the dream. i would also really like to write my own plays :))) but for now, i'm sticking to universes and characters i'm already familiar with
39- OOOO I HAVE SO MANY WIPS BC OF WHUMPTOBER (currently have a little bit over 30k words written 👀👀 and that's not even counting the kink stuff BUT I'M NOT GOING INTO THAT WITH YOU BC YOU ARE A MINOR) BUT LEMME PICK ONE I THINK YOU'LL LIKE
Philip’s forehead burned under his hand. Alexander felt something in his chest and stomach plummet to what seemed like hell. He remembered the feeling of this. He remembered how hot his mother’s flesh had seared as she shivered against him, her arms wrapped tight and secure as she hummed shakily to him. He remembered how she soothed her hand over his hair as she whispered te quiero over and over. He remembered her going still and cold.
42- THE LAST FIC I READ WAS calm you and anoint you (envy) by a_trick_or_two_with_lepers AND ABSOLUTELY. I LOVE IT. GO READ IT RIGHT NOW.
45- I OBVIOUSLY WANT TO BREAK MY READERS' HEARTS. IT IS MY LIFE'S MISSION. I NEED Y'ALL ABSOLUTELY DEVASTATED WHEN YOU'RE FINISHED WITH MY FICS
69- hmmm i'm always embarrassed when i post smut but i'm not really embarrassed that it exists. and the fics i were embarrassed about have long been deleted from the internet SO NOT REALLY ANY OF THEM I GUESS
74- if it's a fic posted in an obscure musical fandom about trauma and has my long-winded ass writing style, it's probably me :)
THANKS FOR THE ASK I HAD A LOT OF FUN ANSWERING THEMMM. ILYYY MWAH 💙

Spanish Grand Prix: Max Verstappen tops both Friday practice sessions
Follow build-up to third practice for the Spanish Grand Prix on the BBC Sport website and app from 11:00 BST on Saturday; qualifying build-up from 14:00 Max Verstappen's Red Bull headed the Aston Martin of home hero Fernando Alonso in Friday practice at the Spanish Grand Prix. Verstappen was 0.170 seconds ahead of his fellow double champion, but behind them the order was unconventional as teams tested car upgrades and tyres. Nico Hulkenberg's Haas was third from Red Bull's Sergio Perez. Ferrari were among the teams to try a car development, Charles Leclerc and Carlos Sainz ending sixth and seventh. Alpine's Esteban Ocon was fifth fastest, while the quickest Mercedes of George Russell was eighth, three places in front of team-mate Lewis Hamilton. Ferrari spent the first session comparing their upgrade - centred on a new sidepod design and floor - on Sainz's car with the standard specification on Leclerc's. Both drivers ran the upgrade in the second session. It appeared to have the desired effect because Leclerc's race-simulation run on the soft tyre later in the session looked to be at around the same pace as Alonso's Aston Martin, which has generally been stronger on Sundays than the Ferrari this year. The Mercedes, by contrast, appeared to be slower than both, whether it be over a single lap or a longer run. Verstappen, 39 points ahead of Perez after his win in Monaco last weekend, appeared imperious in whatever conditions, but his race run was incomparable with those of other drivers because he used the medium for his first long run before switching to the soft later, whereas most ran the soft first. The track on which they ran has been revised since last year. The fiddly chicane at the end of the lap has been replaced and the circuit has returned to its historic layout with two fast right-handers to end the lap, not used since 2006. Many drivers - including the Red Bull pair - were complaining in the first session that their cars were "bouncing" going into the final corner. This marked a return of an aerodynamic problem known as "porpoising" that dominated much of last season and will be something teams will want to try to eradicate for the rest of the weekend. Red Bull seemed to be on top of it by the second session but both Ferrari and Mercedes were still experiencing it. via BBC Sport - Formula 1 http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/

Gaming Communities' Development: Esports, Live Streaming, and Social Gaming
The Development of Online Communities and Gaming
Arcade culture in the 1970s and 1980s, where players congregated to compete and mingle, is where gaming's history begins. With local multiplayer video games like Street Fighter II and couch co-op on the Nintendo Entertainment System (NES), this social element persisted into the 1990s. In games like World of Warcraft and Counter-Strike, players can now connect globally thanks to the introduction of online multiplayer in the 2000s (Newman, 2017).
As a result of this change, gaming evolved into a virtual community where users could create online friendships, guilds, and clans. These days, gaming encompasses more than just playing; it also involves observing, engaging, and taking part in a wider network of shared experiences (Jenkins, 2006).
The Effects of Gaming Platforms on Society
Three main platforms influence the gaming landscape:
Consoles (PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo Switch): Designed with social multiplayer and exclusive content in mind.
PC gaming (Steam, Epic Games Store): Provides powerful gaming with modding features that let users change the graphics and gameplay.
Focused on accessible, informal experiences, mobile gaming (Google Play, App Store) frequently uses social networks to engage users (Juul, 2010).
The distinctions between these categories have become even more hazy with the rise of cross-platform play, which allows users to switch between devices and preserve social ties across various ecosystems (Taylor, 2018).
Social and Competitive Gaming's Ascent
Games that incorporate social interactions into gameplay are referred to as social gaming. Among the examples are:
FarmVille: Encourages users to interact with friends while managing virtual farms.
Candy Crush: Encourages friendly competition among players through leaderboards and challenges (Järvinen, 2011).
Esports, or competitive gaming, has grown into a worldwide industry beyond casual gaming, with notable competitions like:
Every year, millions of people watch the League of Legends World Championship.
The International in Dota 2 is renowned for having prize pools that break records (Taylor, 2018).
With sponsorships, streaming agreements, and large audiences, esports has turned video gaming into a lucrative profession.
Streaming Games: A Novel Approach to Entertainment
The way that people view and interact with gaming content has been completely transformed by game streaming services. Well-liked services consist of:
The biggest live-streaming website is Twitch, where content producers create communities centred around video games.
YouTube Gaming: Combines live streaming and pre-recorded gaming videos.
According to Hamilton, Garretson, and Kerne (2014), Facebook Gaming incorporates streaming with pre-existing social networks.
As gaming celebrities, streamers like Ninja and Pokimane make money from sponsorships, donations, and subscriptions. Gaming has become a participatory culture as a result of streaming, which has dissolved the distinction between players and viewers (Jenkins, 2006).
Gaming Knowledge Communities and Modding
The culture of gaming heavily relies on knowledge communities. These player-controlled areas provide:
Wikis for video games, like the Stardew Valley Wiki, are crowdsourced knowledge-sharing sites.
Reddit forums and Steam discussions are places where players talk about updates, tactics, and technical problems.
The lifespan of a game can be extended by players creating modifications (mods) that improve or change gameplay (Sotamaa, 2010).
Dota 2 (a Warcraft III mod) and Counter-Strike (a Half-Life mod) are two of the most well-known games ever made thanks to modding. These player-driven inventions show how the industry is being actively shaped by gaming communities.
The Prospects for Gaming Communities
With the advent of new technologies and social trends, gaming is expected to grow in the future. These include:
Cloud gaming, such as Xbox Cloud Gaming and Google Stadia, eliminates the need for pricey hardware.
VR & AR Gaming: Combining digital and real-world environments (Meta Quest, Pokémon Go).
Improving world-building and narrative in video games through AI-generated content (Weststar, 2015).
Gaming's influence on society and culture will only increase as it develops further, changing online interaction, competition, and entertainment.

So, do not worry. Flutter is here to stay.
Average Flutter App Development Cost
Building a Flutter app can cost between $15,000 to $150,000 on average. The size of the app affects the time and cost:
Small apps typically take about two months to develop, including MVPs for testing ideas.
Medium-sized apps require around 3 to 4 months, regardless of the number of developers.
Large, complex apps can take 4 to 6 months or more, depending on the features and planning involved. Faster decisions can speed up development.
Type of Application
Price Range (including additional charges)
Simple Application (e.g., fitness app)
$25,000 - $35,000
Mid-sized Application (e.g., with phone call capabilities)
$37,000 - $49,000
Large Application (e.g., social network app)
$35,000 - $60,000
However, the price range is not the accurate amount. It can go up or down depending on your project scale and scope.
Various factors play a crucial role in deciding the cost of developing a flutter application.
Factors That Affect the Flutter App Development Cost
Here are the factors to think of while developing a Flutter app.
1. App Complexity
The cost of your app depends on how complex it is. Apps can be simple, moderate, or complex:
Simple apps have basic features and a simple design.
Moderate apps have more features, and custom designs, and may connect to other services.
Complex apps have advanced features, and detailed designs, and connect in real-time with many services.
The more complex your app, the more time and resources it will need, which affects the cost.
2. Design and User Interface (UI/UX)
The design of your app is important for its success. The more screens, animations, and unique styles it needs, the more it will cost. Custom designs, detailed animations, and layouts that work well on different devices take extra time and effort, which raises the development cost.
So make sure you understand your app’s requirements, what features it should have, and how it can help customers elevate their experience. Developing unnecessary features will only cost you and make the app complex.
Here are the main cost factors:
Animation complexity
Layout intricacy
Visual elements
Design complexity
Number of screens
Interactive representation.
3. Development Team
Who you hire for your Flutter app development also affects costs. Experienced developers charge more per hour but can work faster. The geographical location of your development team also matters as rates vary significantly across different regions.
To streamline your Flutter app development process, you must hire Offshore development teams. It might be a costly affair but are effective option for delivering top-notch advanced solutions that give your business a competitive advantage.

4. App Features and Functionalities
The features you choose for your app affect how much it costs. Basic features like user logins and notifications are usually included in the base price. Advanced features like augmented reality or machine learning make the development more expensive.
Some of the notable features-
User-Friendly Responsive Interface
A Search Option
Location Maps
Chat Support/Call Back Function
Data Caching
Multi-Factor Authentication
Payment Gateways Integration
Multi-Device Synchronization.
5. Integration with Other Systems
Connecting a Flutter app with other systems affects development costs. It needs technical skills.
For example, linking with multiple payment gateways requires deep knowledge of each gateway. Without clear requirements, this process can be complex and costly.
Also, integrating with databases like SQL or NoSQL increases costs. This includes designing the database, writing, and testing queries, and ensuring data security.
You can include the following features and functionalities in your Flutter app.
AR/VR apps
Integrated SMS gateway
Push notification
3-D modelling
Body sensor for medical applications
Integration of social channels
Integration with payment gateways
GPS or AR navigation.
6. Backend Development
While Flutter facilitates the creation of a beautiful frontend, the backend is equally important for the functionality of your app.
The complexity of your app's backend, including
Server setup
Database management
Integration with external services
Consider whether you want a serverless architecture, a traditional server setup, or if you plan to use third-party backend services.
7. Testing and Quality Assurance
Testing is crucial to ensure that your app is working fine across platforms offering the same look and feel. It will help you eliminate functional loopholes before launching the app.
Extensive testing, including functional testing, usability testing, and device-specific testing. The more comprehensive the testing process, the higher the associated costs. Quality assurance is an investment that pays off in the form of a polished and reliable app that delights users.
8. Maintenance and Updates
Launched your app? Well, you are not done here. You need to stay updated, analyze current market trends, and incorporate them to help your business deliver an engaging user experience.
This is what maintenance and updates are for. Without them, your business might not survive. But it comes at a cost that depends on the frequency of updates, the complexity of changes, and the need for ongoing support.
Keeping customers and attracting new ones requires-
Regular support and maintenance.
Allocate 15-20% of app development costs for these services.
Updates based on user feedback fix important issues missed during development.
