What impresses you about Thomas Müller?

I'm hugely impressed that he has stayed at FC Bayern for his entire career, just as I did. What more could you ask for? He's won everything there is to win with FC Bayern. Thomas is FC Bayern through and through, and that's the right thing to do. He even played in the club's youth ranks.

You celebrated success with another famous Müller in your team, is Thomas as difficult for a goalkeeper to predict as Gerd was?

Them are two completely different types: Thomas moves all over the field, our Gerd was dangerous inside the box like nobody else. Thomas also makes assists, which wasn't Gerd's specialty, to be honest. But they both have something in common: Thomas belongs to the list of the great FC Bayern players, just like Gerd or Franz Beckenbauer, or whatever they were called in our ероса.

The first time I played against Bayern München in March 2011, we won with Hannover 96. We left the pitch with a 3-1 victory. I was given Thomas Müller's shirt, whom I'd already known for six or seven years at the time. We had played together under Bernd Stöber in the U-16 national team.

The shirt - Thomas, I hope you'll forgive me - is currently in a storage room that my wife and I have rented. We've moved so many times in the last few years, six in eight years, that we've decided to leave everything we don't need in storage until we have time to unpack everything into a permanent home once our careers are over. Then I will also - I promise - take out the Müller jersey, even though he wasn't exactly my favorite opponent. I conceded 45 goals in games against Bayern Munich. Nine of them came from him. But if there's anyone you can't be angry with for long, it's Thomas Müller.

He was already a dodderer when we met in 2004. Even then he reminded me of a Skydancer, those funny figures that move strangely when a little wind blows on them from below. Thomas is like that too. Unconventional in his movements. He is a horror for goalkeepers. From his movements, it's impossible to know which way his shot will go.

The best goals Thomas scored for me were in Brazil in 2014. In some training sessions he outplayed me; I was there in goal alongside Manuel Neuer and Roman Weidenfeller. But he was good. Maybe I gave him a bit of confidence so that he could score five such unforgettable goals on our way to the World Cup title.

All the best for the future, dear Thomas. And even if you and I never meet again on the pitch (unless the Cup draw dictates otherwise), I invite you to try to score against any other fellow goalkeeper more times than against me. Without complaining, I would let this unglamorous record of goals conceded pass.

I can't remember how many times I've had the honor of whistling Thomas Müller throughout his career. But it has (almost) always been a great pleasure. Thomas is a true professional, and you can tell that he is also aware of the referee's point of view. That makes for an honest and open dialogue on the pitch.

Last season I had an experience with him that I found very respectful: After losing the game in Leverkusen at the beginning of February, he came to see me despite the huge disappointment, thanked me for the way I had conducted the game and said goodbye in a very polite manner. Not everyone manages to do that in a situation like that. I was very impressed. Overall, I think I've noticed a clear evolution in the league over the years: Before, people just talked, communicated and sometimes complained. Today, the comments are much more professional and also more selective, and the conversations are held at the same level.

What always impresses me most about Thomas when I see him on the field is that he is a great motivator, he leads the way, sets an example and involves his teammates. That also shows as a referee. He is simply a great leader on and off the field.

The Pretty Reckless to Support AC/DC on Upcoming European Tour

The Power Up Tour launches in May

The Pretty Reckless [Matt Bishop/The Rock Revival]

This summer, AC/DC are returning to the road for the first since 2016. The massive run is a celebration of the hard rock hitmakers’ 50th anniversary, and their first time supporting their latest album on tour. The global trek begins with a run across Europe this summer, starting at Veltins Arena in Gelsenkirchen, Germany on 17 May. The Power Up Tour will see the group performing in Spain, Austria, Belgium, France, the UK, and more. Very special guests for the run will be American rockers The Pretty Reckless.

Due to overwhelming demand, second shows were added in Seville, Spain, Dresden, Germany, and Hannover, Germany. Check out the full tour itinerary below. More dates around the world are expected to be announced very soon.

The Pretty Reckless are not strangers to the big stage, having supported Shinedown on their Revolutions Live Tour in 2022, and the Foo Fighters last year. The Pretty Reckless released their acclaimed fourth album, Death by Rock and Roll, back in 2021. The album features special guest appearances by Soundgarden’s Kim Thayil and Pearl Jam’s Matt Cameron on “Only Love Can Save Me Now,” and Rage Against The Machine’s Tom Morello on the hit single, “And So It Went.” The album peaked at No. 5 in Germany and No. 6 in the UK. It topped the UK Rock & Metal Albums chart, and scored Top 5 notches on Billboard’s Top Rock and Top Hard Rock Albums charts.

Back in January, The Pretty Reckless entered the studio to begin work on their fifth album.

Last October, AC/DC made their triumphant return to the stage after a seven year hiatus. The band performed after Judas Priest with previously retired bassist Cliff Williams and drummer Matt Laug sitting behind the kit. While they didn’t scratch any songs off this list, they did debut two tracks from their 2020 album, Power Up – “Demon Fire” and “Shot in the Dark.” The band’s seventeenth studio album, Power Up peaked at No. 1 on the Billboard 200, and topped the charts in several other countries around the world.

The rest of the set was filled with some of the band’s biggest hits, and several rare gems that haven’t seen the lights of a stage in decades.

AC/DC kicked off their set with their 1979 fan favorite, “If You Want Blood (You’ve Got It).” It was the first time the band opened with the song in 20 years. From there, they launched into their massive hit, “Back in Black.” The played “Dog Eat Dog” for the first time with frontman Brian Johnson since 1996, and “Riff Raff” for the first time with Johnson on the mic since 2009. AC/DC played both songs back in 2016 when Axl Rose of fellow Power Trip performers Guns N’ Roses was filling in for Johnson on vocals. Johnson was forced to step away from the band while dealing with hearing loss. Axl played the final 22 shows of AC/DC’s Rock or Bust Tour.

AC/DC also pulled out “Stiff Upper Lip” for the first time since 2003. Other highlights included “Shot Down in Flames,” “Thunderstruck,” “Have a Drink on Me,” “Dirty Deeds Done Dirt Cheap,” “Shoot to Thrill,” “Rock ‘n’ Roll Train,” “Highway to Hell,” “Whole Lotta Rosie,” and many more. 

While bassist Cliff Williams has retired from touring, the band has confirmed that Chris Chaney (ex-Jane’s Addiction, Alanis Morissette) will be joining them on tour. Another alumnus of Alanis’s band – drummer Matt Laug – will once again be performing with AC/DC on the upcoming run of dates. Laug made his debut with AC/DC at Power Trip back in October.

“We are thrilled to finally announce the Power Up European Tour,” AC/DC said. “Angus [Young], Brian [Johnson], Stevie [Young], and Matt [Laug] will be joined by Chris Chaney to carry the torch for Cliff. The tour will see us play shows across Germany, Italy, Spain, The Netherlands, Austria, Switzerland, England, Slovakia, Belgium, France & Ireland this Summer. We can’t wait to see you all out there.”

AC/DC’s performance at Power Trip a few months ago saw the band take the stage with frontman Brian Johnson, lead guitarist Angus Young, rhythm guitarist Stevie Young, bassist Cliff Williams, and drummer Matt Laug. In July of 2016, Williams announced that he would be retiring after the completion of the band’s Rock or Bust World Tour. He returned to the fold, however, in 2018 to record bass on the band’s new album, Power Up. 

The confirmation of Laug’s involvement with the band for the Power Trip was most likely connected to legal issues stemming from original drummer Phil Rudd’s 2014 arrest. Rudd was charged with attempting to procure the murder of two men, according to New Zealand’s Bay of Plenty Police District representative Kim Perks at the time. He was also charged with threatening to kill, possession of cannabis, and possession of methamphetamine. A day after he was arrested, one of the charges for attempting to procure a murder was dropped. In April of 2015, Rudd pleaded guilty to the remaining charges at the Tauranga District Court (New Zealand). In July of 2015, he was sentenced to eight months of home detention plus a $120,000 USD fine.

Laug is a storied rock music drummer, having done stints with Alice Cooper, Mike Campbell and the Dirty Knobs, Slash’s Snakepit, and Alanis Morissette, as previously mentioned.

At the time of his arrest, Rudd had already completed recording drums for AC/DC’s sixteenth studio album, Rock or Bust, which came out just days later on November 28. Despite Rudd playing on the record, AC/DC recruited former Shogun drummer Bob Richards to fill in for Rudd in two music videos the band shot for the album amid Rudd’s ongoing legal issues at the time. In February of 2015, AC/DC recruited former drummer Chris Slade to play with them at the 57th Annual GRAMMY® Awards. Slade was a member of AC/DC from 1989-1994 and played drums on their 1990 album The Razor’s Edge. The album hit #2 on the Billboard Top 200 and contains some of the band’s biggest hits. To date, the disc has sold over 5 million copies in the U.S. alone. Slade also appears on the band’s 1992 live effort, AC/DC Live. Slade would then join the band for their massive Rock or Bust World Tour, which began on May 5 at the Gelredome in Arnhem, Netherlands.

While best known for his stints with AC/DC, Slade has also performed with the likes of Asia, Gary Numan, Manfred Man’s Earth Band, Terra Nova, Bloodstock, David Gilmore, Uriah Heep, Gary Moore, Tom Jones, The Firm, Damage Control, and others.

In 2020, AC/DC released their seventeenth studio album, Power Up. The record peaked at No. 1 on the Billboard 200, and topped the charts in several other countries around the world. Once again, Angus and Malcolm Young’s nephew Stevie Young, who took over rhythm guitar duties for Malcolm after he stepped away from the band in 2014 due to his declining health, played on the record. Malcolm Young passed away back in 2017.

Alongside Ernst Zinsser and Dieter Oesterlen Ernst Friedrich Brockmann (1920-78) was one of the dominant architect personalities in the city of Hannover after WWII. As a true all-rounder he designed all sorts of buildings for corporate, private and public clients that to this day are important parts of Hannover’s urban fabric. This undoubtedly successful postwar career nonetheless seems even more remarkable against the background of Brockmann’s prewar story: after graduating from Technische Hochschule Hannover in 1941 Brockmann due to his mother being Jewish was banned from independently practicing architecture. Luckily he found employment with the architects Hans List and later Ernst Zinsser but in January 1945 was interned at Eschershausen Concentration Camp. After Hannover had been liberated by the US Army on April 10 and Brockmann was released from internment he immediately set about playing part in the city’s reconstruction: already on May 1 he established his office and during the following worked on the re-establishment of the local Thalia Theater. In the following two decades Brockmann was commissioned with a multitude of projects ranging in size from shops to office and exhibition buildings. Due to health reasons Brockmann retired from architecture in 1967, moved to Ticino and spent his final years sculpting. Three years after his retirement he also formally transferred his office into a limited business partnership entity and on this occasion published the present work catalogue that contains a representative selection of his projects from 1945 to 1970. Along typologies the book showcases Brockmann’s designs that are characterized by more than just postwar modernism: through careful selection of material and intelligent as well as creative dealing with the given site his buildings stand out among their contemporaries. Unfortunately many of them have either been demolished or insensitively altered, a circumstance that makes the present publication even more valuable as it on the one hand shows the buildings in their original state and on the other includes plans and models that add to the overall appreciation of Brockmann’s architecture. A real treasure!

Liselotte's Favourite Childhood Christmas

A merry Christmas to all of you who celebrate (and of course an equally happy day to everyone who is currently celebrating a different holiday or none at all)!

Do you know that feeling of being nostalgic for the time when Christmas was a magical, festive season rather than a busy rush of obligations, get-together and worrying about presents, food and keeping all the relatives happy? You're not alone in that.

This year's Christmas post comes straight from the 17th century: on 11 December 1708, the Duchess of Orléans, more commonly known as Liselotte to her friends, family and posterity, recounted the magic of her favourite childhood Christmas, the last she spent in Hannover with her aunt Sophie (in the year 1660, I believe; Liselotte would have been 8 years old), to her daughter. Luckily, we still have the letter:

Ich weiß nicht, ob ihr auch jenes andere Spiel kennt, das man in Deutschland immer noch pflegt; man heißt es das Christkindl; dabei richtet man die Tische wie Altäre her und legt für ein Kind alle möglichen Sachen darauf, neue Kleider, Silber, Seidenbänder, Puppen, Naschereien und alles mögliche. Auf die Tische stellt man Buchsbäume, und auf jedes kleine Ästchen steckt man eine kleine Kerze: das sieht ganz wunderhübsch aus. [...] Ich erinnere mich, wie man in Hannover das letzte Mal das Christkindl zu mir kommen ließ: Man hat Schulbuben kommen lassen, die recht ordentlich eine Komödie spielen. Als erstes kommt der Stern und dann der Teufel und die Engel und schließlich der heilige Christ mit Petrus und den anderen Aposteln. Der Teufel schilt die Kinder und liest eine lange Liste mit ihren Untaten vor. Darauf sagt der Christ, daß er gekommen ist, sie zu beschenken, aber weil sie so böse sind, könne er nicht bei ihnen verweilen. Der Engel und der heilige Petrus bitten für sie und versprechen, daß sie sich bessern werden. Da vergibt Christus ihnen, und der heilige Petrus und der Engel führen sie zu den Tischen, die für sie bereitet sind [...]. Und als der heilige Petrus mich bei der Hand nahm -- es war ein kleiner Schuljunge mit einem falschen Bart --, da sah ich, dass er Krätze hatte, und daran merkte ich den Schwindel. [...] Und ganz bestimmt freue ich mich noch heute daran."

I don't know if you know that game which is still being maintained in Germany and called Christkindl [Christ Child]; they dress the tables, one for each child, in the style of an altar, and put all manner of things onto them, such as new clothing, silver, silk ribbons, dolls, sweets and much else. Onto the tables, they put little box trees, and on each little branch they place a little candle; it all looks very beautiful. I recall how they had the Christkindl visit me for the last time in Hannover: They had schoolboys come to act in a rather amusing comedy. At first, the star arrives, and then the devil and the angels and at last Christ with St. Peter and the other apostles. The devil scolds the children and reads a long list of their misdeeds to them. To this Christ replies that he has come to give them presents, but since they are so naughty, he cannot stay. The angel and St. Peter plead for them and promise that they will be good. Christ forgives them and St. Peter and the angel lead them to the tables which have been arranged for them [...]. And as St. Peter took me by the hand -- he was a little schoolboy with a false beard -- I remarked that he had scabies and saw through the sham. And without a doubt it still brings me joy until this day."

Sadly, this was to be the last Christmas of this sort Liselotte ever celebrated; her father, notoriously stingy to the point of arguing with his son's school at Heidelberg to lower the lunch fees citing poor young Karl's meagre appetite, was not one to indulge in grand festivities and when in France with children of her own, Liselotte, intent on bringing this favourite childhood tradition back for her own son and daughter, met with resistance from her husband. In a letter dated to January 1711 to Sophie von Hannover, the beloved aunt in whose home she had celebrated this favourite Christmas:

"hir weiß man gar nichts davon; wolte es introduciren, allein Monsieur sagte: 'Vous nous voulés donner de vos modes Allemandes pour faire de la despence, je vous baisse les mains'."

"They don't know nothing of it here; I wanted to introuce it, but Monsieur said 'You want to give us your German fashions [just to] create expenses, I kiss your hands."

So, young Philippe and Elisabeth Charlotte d'Orléans sadly never experienced the things that had made their mother's childhood Christmasses special, most crucially, they never had a Christmas tree, which would not arrive in France until after WWI.

To some degree, Liselotte's Christmas still exists materially; we know Christmas trees, presents still look very much the same, and there are holiday-themed plays both secular-ish and classic nativity plays put on by children, albeit luckily with a less harsh moral undertone.

But what's perhaps the most important, contrary to Philippe d'Orléans's fear of overspending is the aspect is to pass the joy of the festivities on, and share it with others because in the end, what's more precious than all the new clothes, silver, silk ribbons, dolls and sweets are the happy memories of the day.

Gorilla Babies Wrestle, Sister Defends Brother by SloggerVlogger Gorilla Babies Juni and Hasani have a wrestling match, that's until Ayana comes running and defends her brother Juni, but watch closely as an adult hand appears and she gets pushed away. I think it's Kera, Hasani's Surrogate Mum. Hasani is the one that sits by the door frame. This video was filmed in January 2021. If you've been following the gorillas you might know that they are still in the closed Bristol Zoo. They are getting a new enclose built in 2024 and that's when they will be moved to the new Bristol Zoo just outside the city centre. Unfortunately, I haven't been able to visit another gorilla troop as I concentrated on Twycross Zoo with Gorilla Lope leaving this year. The Zoo itself opened on July 11th 1836! The first gorilla birth was on March 6th 1971. Currently, there are 8 gorillas at the Bristol Zoo. Starting off with Jock the Silverback. He was born on May 31st 1983 at Zoo La Palmyre. He got moved to the Bristol Zoo on the 25.June 2003. His offspring are Namoki, Komale, Kukena, Afia, Ayana, Hasani and Juni. Kera was born on August 26th 2004 at the Parc Zoológic de Barcelona. She moved to the Bristol Zoo on the 08.September.2008. Her offspring is Afia. Afia was born by emergency cesarean section at Bristol Zoo on the 12th of February 2016 after her mother, Kera, showed symptoms of potentially life-threatening pre-eclampsia. She had to be hand-raised. Gorilla Romina took an interest in Afia when the keepers walked past her with Afia in their arms. So Afia was slowly introduced to Romina and in October started bonding with her surrogate mother. Kera did recover after being ill for a while but didn't recognize Afia as her daughter. Romina took over to raise her, but sadly they had to put her to sleep in Aug 2018 because she had an advanced large cancerous mass in her abdomen. Afia by then was part of the group and Dad Jock and the other females looked after her. Touni was born on the 12th of December 2007 at the La Vallée des Singes and moved to the Bristol Zoo on the 28.September 2015. Her daughter is Ayana who was born on the 22nd of April 2017. On 22 December 2020, Touni gave birth to the second baby gorilla for Bristol Zoo that year during covid lockdown and he has named a combination of his Mother’s and Father's name, Juni. Kala was born on the 11th of December 2010 in Hannover. She's the newest member of the group as she joined on the 16.October 2018. She was pregnant in Sep 2019 but sadly lost the baby. The cause of death is unknown. On August 19th 2020 Kala gave birth to baby Hasani. Unfortunately, she couldn’t feed him properly and is being hand-raised by Bristol Zoo staff members. In May 2021 Kera showed interest in Hasani and became the new surrogate mother of the little boy. The Bristol Zoo has closed its doors for good. As an inner-city zoo, it didn't have a place to expand. That's why they are relocating some of the animals like this gorilla family to the outside of Bristol to a place called Wildlife Place Project, now Bristol Zoo Project. They stated that they are going to start building in 2024. So it will still be a while until they have moved. Germany?

Name an area in Europe modern or historical (excluding Russia and Turkey) and I will tell you about that region’s Vampire Principality.

There are several Principalities in modern day Germany, the one I will talk about is the Principality of Hannover.

Largely encompassing the modern state of Niedersachsen the most noteworthy fact about Hannover is historically it had the most leadership turnover of any Principality that didn't involve Vikings or centuries of consistent conflict. The list of ruling factions and nobles include: Carolingians, Ottonians, the various imperial dynasties of the Holy Roman Empire (including the later Welfs who are possibly distant relatives of Mason), the English under the Hannoverians, the French thanks to Napoleon, the English again, Prussians, and finally a united German faction.

Most Principalities have some form of rebellion or a grand scheme to force a change in leadership when it comes to internal conflicts. The Principality of Hannover however, has almost always handled their problems diplomatically by vampire standards. This is best exemplified by the numerous factions that exist within the principality. Whereas other courts consist of a dominant faction typically lead by the prince combatting opposing factions and attempting to sway neutral ones, the major factions within Hannover would be better described as competing instead. Unlike most other principalities the prince has far larger and more numerous factions to lead and mediate, this has lead the court becoming so large it more resembles a legislature than a court. Do not mistake this for democracy however, the prince's authority is still supreme and they have no obligation to support the interests of any let alone all factions. As long as the prince's conduct is not in violation of vampiric law, the responsibilities of the office of prince, or otherwise for an external intervention they will remain in power without question.

Zu den konkreten Inhalten der Privatmeinung eines Beamten nimmt das BMI grundsätzlich keine Stellung." Auswertungsbericht KM4 Petition "Amnestie von Stephan Kohn und Anerkennung seiner Analyse" unterschreiben. +++ Profi-Basketballer Joshiko Saibou erhielt seine fristlose Kündigung durch die Telekom Baskets Bonn. Der Verein hat Saibou wegen „Verstößen gegen Vorgaben des laufenden Arbeitsvertrags als Profisportler“ fristlos gekündigt. Laut Vereinsmitteilung habe Saibou „wiederholt auf Social-­Media-Kanälen seine Haltung zur Pandemie oder zum Virus an sich geäußert. Offensichtlich wegen seiner Aktivitäten bei Querdenken wird sein Vertrag dort nicht über den August 2020 hinaus verlängert. Markus Haintz war bereits in Berlin bei einer Corona-Demo von der Polizei regelrecht überfallen und abgeführt worden. Kündigung des Lehrauftrages Stellungnahme der Hochschulleitung der Hochschule Biberach +++ Michael Fritsch, Kriminalkommissar, hält auf der Querdenken-Demo am 09.08.2020 in Dortmund eine bewegende Rede und spricht über seinen Eid auf das Grundgesetz. Am 21.08.2020 hat im Disziplinarverfahren der Polizeidirektion Hannover gegen Kriminalhauptkommissar Michael Fritsch das Verwaltungsgericht Hannover mit Beschluss 18 E 441/20 die vollständige Durchsuchung seiner Privatsphäre angeordnet. Leerdenker geoutet und einen Vorfall von 2014 noch übertroffen. Damals hat er in der Oberfrankenhalle bei einem Konzert einen Wachmann angegriffen und musste anschließend von der Polizei abgeführt werden. Sven Friedrich vom Wagner-Museum sagte übrigens der Mainwelle, solchen Leuten müsse man entschieden entgegen treten, vor allem auch auf Facebook." Der Professor für Wirtschaftsethik an der Technischen Universität München (TUM) gehört seit Monaten zu den entschiedendsten Kritikern der Corona-Politik von Bundes- und bayerischer Landesregierung. Er "warnte vor 'massiven Kollateralschäden' der Corona-Maßnahmen". Den Lockdown bezeichnet er als "mittelalterlich" und fordert dessen sofortige Aufhebung. Die Süddeutsche zitierte einen Sprecher der TUM. "'Herr Lütge ist als Professor weiterhin Beamter des Freistaats Bayern.' Er vertrete allerdings mit seinen Ansichten zu den Corona-Maßnahmen und seiner Wortwahl nicht die Haltung der Universitätsleitung. Noch vor wenigen Monaten war das, was Bianca Höltje tat, eigentlich Pflicht von Leitern, Lehrern, Ärzten, Journalisten ...: Sie war kritisch gegenüber verordneten Einschränkungen und fragte öffentlich: "Ist das alles so richtig, schadet das den Kindern, nützt das was?" Verdacht auf Vorteilsnahme, zweifelhafte Verbindungen zu Aserbaidschan, einem Land, in dem Fischer noch nie gewesen war. Akten, Computer wurden beschlagnahmt, Mobiltelefone 'ausgesaugt'. Dafür wurden am 28. 02. 2023 ihr Haus und Praxis durchsucht. Danach kam sie für fast 1,5 Jahre in Untersuchungshaft gem. § 112 StPO, ehe sie am 17. 06. 2024) zu 2 Jahren und 8 Monaten Haft verurteilt wurde. Aufgrund einer angeblichen Veruntreuung von größeren Geldsummen im Zusammenhang mit dem Corona-Ausschuss geriet er – unter dubiosen Umständen – in Untersuchungshaft. Internationale Rechtsexperten bezeichnen seine Verhaftung in der deutschen Botschaft in Mexiko und seinen Transport nach Deutschland, wo er dann inhaftiert wurde als illegale Entführung. Offensichtlich liegt diesem Verfahren ein Dossier des Verfassungsschutzes oder des Bundeskriminalamtes aus dem Jahr 2021 zugrunde, aus dem hervorgeht, dass Herr Dr. Füllmich beobachtet wurde.  Сюжет игры Red Dead Redemption 2 повествует вокруг банды Датча Ван дер Линде, которая после неудачного ограбления скрывается от закона в горах Гризли. Главный герой - Артур Морган Он является членом банды и играет важную роль в истории. Артур — опытный бандит, который сталкивается с трудностями и испытаниями на своём пути. «Культурное общество по-валентайнски» — это первая миссия второй главы в Red Dead Redemption 2. В ней Артур Морган и Дядюшка отправляются в город Валентайн, чтобы найти новые наводки для банды. Во время поездки девушки — Карен, Тилли и Мэри-Бет — уговаривают Артура взять их с собой, чтобы повеселиться в городе. «Отдых по-американски» - Артур Морган, Хавьер Эскуэла и Чарльз отправляются в бар в Валентайне, где сталкиваются с Биллом Уильямсоном. Билл начинает драку с другим посетителем бара, и Томми вступает в конфликт. «Уходит с уязвлённым самолюбием» - Артур Морган отправляется на охоту на огромного медведя с Хозией Мэттьюзом. Они решают отвести украденную шайрскую лошадь в конюшню Валентайна и купить новую. Добравшись до озера О’Кригс-Ран, Артур и Хозия выслеживают медведя и используют приманку для его привлечения.
