I believe that we have a Spitting Cobra in the house and unfortunately it spat into Hana's eyes😥. I couldn't sleep last night trying to flush the venom out of his eyes with water which appeared red and puffy a minute after I heard him barking. I tried to search for the snake whereabout the whole night so that I can relocate it to somewhere safe because all my dogs were terrified and restless and I can't find the snake until this morning, I am still searching. The rain season just started and its cold outside so snakes will try to find somewhere warm and safe for them so I Don't blame the snake at all,I believe this is just an accident. Hana situation is improving and I am glad that the snake didn't try to bite him on the accident. I have already called Dr Chuma and we are all working to help Hana get his eyes back, I am really sad to see this baby is going through a lot ..but he will be fine ,I will do my best to help and protect him. 2. My #dogs do not have enough to eat, unfortunately the rain season just started and most business located in Karatu town including mine have started to experience a sharp decline in customers as most people would prefer to shop to their nearest stores as many of our roads are dust roads which become hard to pass during the rain season. For those of you who has been following our Instagram, you may have noticed I have become somewhat of a #catlady in recent times. Ever since adopting @kleopatrickthecat from the tennis court, we have had a few cats coming into our house for food and occasional shelter from the elements. • Recently, this #turkishvan-lookalike female cat came to our house and I realised she was pregnant. Sadly, she gave birth to them on 15-April and none of her newborns made it alive. I think she’s probably been with us for about 2 weeks now, initially hiding under near the generator outside our garage but has since found a quiet little spot upstairs alone after she gave birth. We’ve placed a water and food bowl near where she likes to hide out now. • Looking weak and frail, possibly slightly crippled from the way she walks. I’ve decided to just feed her and let her regain her strength but am hoping that she stays with us, and that I’m able to spay her on a scheduled date of 27th April with @letsadoptindonesia... • Coming from god-knows-where, of course she looks like a typical dirty street cat but her personality has grown quite onto me. Docile yet needy (probably coz she’s barely 1yr old), she looks for me when I walk towards her hiding little area. I have sinced cleaned up her ears... still slightly hesitant what I should do next, but I’m writing this trying my luck to see if anyone’s interested to foster this little kitten (I’m pretty sure she’s barely 1yr old yet had to endure the unfortune event of giving birth to dead kittens (common when the mother cat is weak and under-nourished))... if anyone feels dogs are loyal companion, I can already sense that this grateful kitty will be a loyal companion to anyone’s life who’s willing to commit to unconditional love for this kitty. • Give me a holla if you’re sort of interested. The scene is of dogs being weighed in a cage that has scales. Then the dogs are placed into the 2 pens of dogs we will attempt to save. Please take note that it is the slaughterhouse workers who are handling the dogs very roughly, and the rescuers onsite cannot intervene. . There is between 40 / 50 dogs that are relying on animal lovers to pull together and make this rescue happen. . GOAL: Total price is $4872 due within 7 days. (It is now day 2) . We are just a little over the halfway mark to the target goal. Please help us get to the target goal so that we can help the dogs. . Co-organized by several Chinese animal organizations, in Shijiazhuang City and Lanzhou City, the 2018 Summer Pet Charity Summer Camp successfully completed the 2 day activity with the children. . The children learned the concept of adoption instead of buying, and sent the hand-made cat litter and a delicious meal they made for small animals to the Single Sister Stray animal rescue’s small courtyard. . The children also learned the correct way to interact with cats and dogs, refuse to eat cats and dogs, and to respect life. They also visited Zhang Ge Rescue of Lanzhou where they helped deliver delicious meals to the animals. . Every child is born a blank canvas, it is our duty to shape their world with love for animals.
