Not to be all Chester Sibley but why do ice cream companies sell chocolate/strawberry/vanilla cartons, yet do not do a chocolate covered strawberries flavor in like a pint. Of just like actual good quality chocolate ice cream and strawberry with actual strawberry flavor and not just pink coloring, and bits of actual strawberry, OR real strawberry ice cream with a chocolate sauce swirl in it? Why do they make fancy flavors but deny the simple pleasures???
Some warm up sketches while I work on a bigger tfota piece, as well some art from last year. Honestly, if you compare these to the early 2023 pieces, you're in for a shock.
Each time I draw them, Suren gets meaner and Oak gets more handsome XD
we got a lot of jurdan moments in the prisoner’s throne but yk what’s my absolute favorite? no, it’s not that time where cardan called jude “[so many secrets,] wife.” not that time either where cardan was willing to fight wren if jude got hurt bc of her. also not that time where cardan whipped out his cloak to protect jude from the bolts.
my absolute favorite jurdan moment from book two was them being told through oak’s eyes: oak noticing the change in cardan’s voice when talking only to jude, when it’s just the two of them — how it becomes raw. so real.
Just had a surprise artisanal-type ice cream experience and I am feeling very Chester Sibley about it.
Soft serve vanilla with a piece of cheesecake with crumbled crust in a bowl, topped with apricot preserves.
And honestly, looked a mess (the soft serve was not cold enough so couldn't hold its shape) and the cheesecake was only ok. But! Vanilla soft serve with apricot preserves!! Very much so yes. And the crumble added a nice texture.
But really, as even Chester would say, did it make me happy? Did it do what ice cream is supposed to do? Yes absolutely.
