They both knew what she was referring to. To Sky. If Y/N refused to help her, she'd take it out on Sky. Immediately, Y/N felt this wave of anger, fear, and nausea. "You stay the fuck away from him, Hope." Y/N's eyes flashed light blue as ice forms a pair of fairy wings on his back.

Hope's smile widened. "No need to show off, Y/N. I know you're powerful. Which why this is going to be so much fun. Causing so much chaos and pain together."

Liore is SUCH a good introduction to fma that every time I watch brotherhood and it opens on that random guy with the water alchemy trying to kill the fuhrer I want to scream. like I understand the pacing of the first cour is weak because they're trying to rush to the point where it diverges from fma03 more quickly... but why waste some of that time inventing an anime-original intro episode that doesn't do as good a job as what they already had? grrrr

Reading up and going through the tags for Tuesday is VERY interesting...but given the nature of who (or I guess what) he is I have to ask. Does he ever experience any glitches/malfunctions?

His early design was intended to be simple, and then rapidly spiraled down a rabbit hole of added features to be of use to either Chuu and later Keathan, who Tuesday was sent off to since she could not be forced at gunpoint to go to Ishgard (she does eventually. She was just. Extremely resistant.)

Which means there’s some places where there were mild hiccups… like walking and talking is hard for him and he WILL either walk straight into obstacles or stop randomly (mid step, which looks somewhat silly) (less of a malfunction and more of a… processing overload I’d suppose though…)

He also can learn and use Blue Magic? Though he’s typically kitted for Black, since it’s more reliable, and Keathan knows it, so they can guide him in the technique. Some Blue can be hard on the body so it was a sort of failsafe to just prevent it from the start. (That…. And he’s done the in-game equivalent of fat-fingering a button he hadn’t meant to. It took months to get the Bad Breath smell out of Chuu’s clothes when she got caught in the radius. He was supposed to aqua cannon. To this day he’s still not sure why ‘water cannon’ and ‘noxious poisonous breath’ felt identical, and Chuu is still not sure if it was actually a bug or if Tuesday was just seeking retribution for installing his arms backwards that one time. (She could never really get the glitch to repeat…)

There’s several points in his development where he has a learning curve, like when Chuu upgrades from pre-programmed movements and walk-cycles to ‘learned’ movements (It was LESS processing to let Tuesday move everything himself than to run movement files in succession to do things like pick up cups and such. Especially since not everything is uniformly placed..) so he had to learn grip strength and moving his arms/legs— and not chopping through the cutting board, or picking up a pillow and flinging it straight into the air overhead because he didn’t recall he had to keep HOLDING it. Lots of ‘doesn’t recognize how much force is necessary’ and ‘learning to walk all over again sucks’ kinda moments until he gets his sea legs so to speak. Being a person is hard.

And writing this all down I do think it would be funny if he had a glitch at one point that swapped his vocal cadence and diction so that he started singing like it was a gd musical…. Ballad of Dragons of somethin’ I’m sure a moogle would laugh

i loveeeee love love the ways that betty and simon's idolization of one another impacts their ability to have a healthy relationship & also prevents them from accepting when the other has changed or gotten worse in their eyes (simon to golbetty, betty to ice king). the way betty treated ice king always seemed particularly callous to me since it seemed like in the end she only ended up seeing him as a means to an end to being simon back cus she physically could not cope with how different he was (despite her having also changed so drastically by then too)

i always enjoyed how it was a bit of an uncomfortable/stark parallel to how poorly some people cope with a loved one having a degenerative illness... or just any change in like cognitive ability for example. there's definitely a power imbalance in their early rship just by nature of how betty idolized simon so intensely but so many of the situations that arose later were solely her own doing

which made it rly impactful i think when betty was finally able to tell simon that she had no regrets. being able to move on and be at peace w/that, for two people who were so unhealthily obsessed with "fixing" either their perceived wrongdoings or fucked up situations that are just outside of their control... good conclusion to their arc

Watching Deniss skate will forever alter the chemicals in my brain because did you all see that performance???? The second half in particular, after that amazing Triple Axel, he was pure emotion!!!!!!!! The amount of detail, from his facial expressions to his hands omg I'm on the floor It's frustrating because he deserves so much more for his art, but at the end of the day, he will always have me standing up and grabbing my own hair while he skates. It's not fucking gliding yet, but he was magnificent. And that is why I watch this sport. Manifesting a good free program for Deniss (and Matteo 🤍) 🍀✨

1. So they were both never normal about Taash's body/armor but also went with the most boring armor?? Wish we'd gotten that one with the two handed axe tbh the gold armor screams way more Lords of Fortune and they couldve added tights or something to make her more covered if that was a concern (idk if it was given her exposed midriff and pointed armor).

2. Thank God the model designers just ignored the Harding concept art and made Harding instead of miss 5'1 100lb Disney Princess aldjskfj

3. the Silver Surfer looking thing is interesting? They were really considering Dwarven magic altering her body. Wonder if they followed that idea elsewhere or if they decided against it entirely and that's why she's not like that.

4. Whichever modeler went "well if Bellara doesn't wear a bra her tits are gonna sag" is a hero I like that her titties aren't perfectly perky in the photos we've seen.
