I was thinking of it, in the second (?) chapter, Ghost says that some hybrids like to nest

What about, one day, Pup is comfortable enough to make a nest? I'm sure Ghost (and the boys too) will feel glad that they feel safe enough to make a nest

But, imagine if Pup took some clothes of 141 for their nest 😶‍🌫️

Like, they will start with taking some of Ghost's clothes, and more time passes, the more Pup feels safe with the whole team and wants all of their sent in their nest

There will definitely come a day when Pup does try out nesting because lo and behold they realise that the anti-nesting thing is bullshit along with all the other rules their old base imposed. It will for sure start with Ghost’s stuff as well, Pup just loves the way he smells and one day they can’t resist stealing the old mask that’s sitting around from the day before. pup steals it from the living room and drags it to bed almost all without thinking. That’s only the beginning.

Slowly they start to take more of Ghost’s things thinking that they’re being very sneaky, but oh so they forget that he checks their room to make sure it’s clean. He rolls his eyes when he sees all of his stolen shit and just lets you keep on, leaving things here and there so that you don’t take anything he actually needs.

It takes a little while until they branch out for the other’s things but by the time it happens they’re well prepared. Ghost has already told them about the amount of things he’s had to replace so they make sure they have offerings prepared when Pup finally builds up the courage to ask (because of course Ghost has lectured them that they can only nest with gifted items from other people because ‘borrowing’ is rude)
