I was feeling the blues and highly unmotivated today. So, I decided to print my art to see what it would look like in the real world. I need a new printer, but I like looking at them! It's encouraging to see my journey in front of me.
Despite being a printer fail, I like the color!
These ones are my favorite! I'm feeling the motivation return! Or maybe it's just the coffee kicking in... I did these! Me! I still can't believe I'm fulfilling a childhood dream!
Crowley is sitting in a mostly-empty movie theater to watch cartoons. Why.
He's holding a bucket of popcorn that looks untouched. Also why.
The one other person in the theater (who I'm aware is Neil Gaiman making a cameo) does not move or speak or display any reaction whatsoever when Hastur starts talking to Crowley through the screen. Is he asleep? Do humans not perceive these things when they're happening?
Crowley TAKES THE POPCORN WITH HIM WHEN HE LEAVES.
I present, in its entirety, the Buggre Alle This Bible from Good Omens (book). Initially the bit about a scribe who is just so done with his job. And then I kept going, all quotes from the book on each canvas. There are Easter eggs aplenty in each canvas. Paint, alcohol and water-based markers, rhinestones, feathers, and other schmutz. I also aged a craft store trunk for it to live in.
This week was hard. After completing Aziraphale, I lost steam. So, I don't think this one is my best one but I do like the elements on their own. Anyway, you can enjoy this for yourself on my Ko-Fi page! I post a day early to schedule my links, so it's worth a follow if you want to see my work early! Thanks for all of your support! Cheers!
OMG! I just realized! JANUARY IS DONE! I'M ONTO FEBRUARY! EPISODE TWO~! WEEEEE!
