Huawei denies everything The Bloomberg resource published a large article describing how the Chinese government in various ways helps Huawei not only stay afloat under US sanctions, but also actively develop. [caption id="attachment_85236" align="aligncenter" width="780"] Huawei[/caption] For example, journalists discovered a network of enterprises supported by an investment fund of the Shenzhen city government, the purpose of which is to help Huawei create a self-sufficient chip network. The group includes companies specializing in optics, developers of equipment for the production of semiconductors, and even manufacturers of chemical products. China is also sponsoring a $30 billion project to help Huawei build its own chip factories. [caption id="attachment_85237" align="aligncenter" width="780"] Huawei[/caption] The Chinese government actively supports and subsidizes Huawei At the center of the network of state-owned enterprises that are assisting Huawei is an investment fund run by the Shenzhen municipal government. The Shenzhen Major Industry Investment Group fund itself was created in 2019 after the first US sanctions and received direct instructions to support China's chip production efforts and, in particular, Huawei. Separately, Bloomberg says that the Chinese government actually forced the announcement of the Mate 60 Pro smartphone ahead of schedule because it wanted to time the announcement to coincide with the visit of US Commerce Secretary Gina Raimondo to the country. In general, the government actively subsidizes Huawei. According to SemiAnalysis analysts, the scale of subsidies is huge They will build apartment buildings, help with land and will not charge income taxes It is important to note that Huawei denies government assistance, saying that this is all speculation and speculation based on information on the Internet.

Samsung has already shown such a concept Huawei is already actively eating away Samsung's share in the folding smartphone market, and next year it may even release a new type of such device before the Korean giant.  [caption id="attachment_80746" align="aligncenter" width="780"] Huawei[/caption] Huawei could beat Samsung and be the first to release a smartphone that folds in two places We are talking about a folding smartphone with two hinges, which will fold not in one place, like all current ones, but in two at once. According to TrendForce, the development of such a device in the bowels of Huawei is going well, and the smartphone could be launched as early as March 2024. A similar decision from Samsung is expected next year, but Huawei may be the first. Of course, given the sanctions, Huawei’s limited capabilities and focus on the domestic market, this will not be a problem for Samsung globally, but it will show the world that Huawei can beat its competitor in a market where the latter dominates.

In many ways, this is a copy of Huawei Enjoy 60 Wiko has introduced the Hi Enjoy 60s 5G smartphone, which, like many other Wiko models, is a Huawei smartphone, only with minor changes.  [caption id="attachment_75563" align="aligncenter" width="780"] Huawei smartphone[/caption] In this case, the new product also largely copies another brand model - Hi Enjoy 60 5G, which in turn largely copies Huawei Enjoy 60.   They took a Huawei smartphone, improved it, and then simplified it. The new model retained the same 6.75-inch IPS screen with a resolution of 720p and the same 6000 mAh battery with 22.5 W charging, but the camera instead of 48 megapixels became 13 megapixels, and the Dimensity 6020 was replaced by the Dimensity 700, although they are very similar. The device runs HarmonyOS.  The design has also remained almost unchanged. There is no information on the price yet, but the older model was priced at $190 at launch.

So far nothing is known about Kirin 830 Huawei may release another new Kirin platform. According to leaker Wisdom Pikachu, the Kirin 830 could be released by the end of the year.  [caption id="attachment_68057" align="aligncenter" width="780"] Huawei[/caption] The platform will become the heart of the Nova 12 line of smartphones. More precisely, at least the Nova 12 model, while the Nova 12 Pro will receive the Kirin 9000s.   From an image previously leaked online, you can find out that Nova 12 will also receive a 120 Hz screen, a 60-megapixel main camera, and a 4800 mAh battery with 88-watt charging.   Huawei can do even more. The company is preparing a new SoC Kirin 830 What the Kirin 830 will be like is still anyone's guess. You may recall that the last platform in the Kirin 800 line was the Kirin 820, released in 2020. It was produced using the 7 nm process technology and now scores about 500,000 points in AnTuTu 10, that is, the Kirin 830 should ideally be faster, but the same Kirin 9000s, as we know, is not particularly faster than its predecessor.   Wisdom Pikachu reported details about the Redmi K60 and Xiaomi Pad 6 last year and recently was the first to provide exclusive details about the new Redmi Note 13 and Xiaomi Civi 3 smartphones.

The department may soon have such tools US Commerce Secretary Gina Raimondo expressed concern about Huawei's latest advances. In particular, the release of SoC Kirin 9000s. [caption id="attachment_64088" align="aligncenter" width="600"] Huawei's[/caption] Raimondo said the report that a Chinese firm has developed advanced chips is "incredibly alarming." She also notes that her department needs additional funds to ensure compliance with the export control regime. We need different tools. We need additional resources for enforcement. We're as tough as we need to be, but we need more resources. The US Commerce Secretary is incredibly alarmed by Huawei's achievements and wants more pressure tools However, Raimondo previously stated in the House of Representatives that she does not see any evidence that China can produce advanced 7-nanometer chips on a large scale. Let us recall that recently data appeared that the Kirin 9000s is allegedly produced according to 14 nm standards, but with a number of improvements. Interestingly, against the backdrop of these statements, the US Secretary of Commerce refused to comment on the progress of the Department’s investigation into the very SoC Kirin 9000s. Separately, Raimondo said she was proud of her department's recent fine against Seagate for trading with Huawei without the necessary permits. Let us remind you that the American Seagate was fined $300 million, and this is the largest fine in history for an American company imposed by the US Department of Commerce.
