i was just reading the manga and all i could think about was the fact that this outfit has to have something to do with killua. gon i love you but you did not put this together after dressing like a christmas elf for your entire life. those are not your pants

this part makes me emotional, because yes, ging is alive and well and gon's mother is nowhere to be seen but maybe alive or dead we don't know (though I believe in the pregnancy stone's theory until togashi says otherwise), but at that moment gon thinks his parents are dead and he is protecting a cub who just lost his mom and has no parents just like him, and sorry for the spam but just look at his little face. he's crying but feeling so determined, and he's protecting the foxbear against kite who thinks the best option is to kill the cub. he wants to take care of the foxbear even if it's hurting him. and all this before kite finds gon's look similar to ging's and asking gon about it

Alluka: It's Alluka! And I was closed off from my family because they feared my abilities/wanted to control me and was continually dehumanized and misgendered by them and for a good portion of my life I was separated from the only person who saw me as a person.

Kurapika: Hello, I'm Kurapika and all my friends and family were slaughtered by a notorious gang who stole their eyes and sold them on the black market, now I'm empty and angry at the same time and will dedicate my life to revenge at the cost of my life.
