Can OEM Hydrocolloid Patches Help With Scars
Tumblr media
Scars are a natural part of the healing process after an injury or surgery. Cosmetic problems are another category of problems that they can cause. This is where OEM hydrocolloid patches can be a perfect fit instead of other methods. Now it is high time to know whether such patches are capable of providing visible enhancement in the removal of scars.
What Are OEM Hydrocolloid Patches?
OEM Hydrocolloid Patches are dressings that are made from a gel-like material called hydrocolloid. It can promote the moist healing process since it allows the body’s natural healing mechanism to be promoted.
This is because hydrocolloid has the characteristic of absorbing and curing acne/pimples/blemishes/scars as it forms a moist environment around the wounded area. It has the ability to heal wounds faster and more effectively by protecting bacteria/ germs.
Benefits of Using OEM Hydrocolloid Patches for Scars:
Hydration:
It improves scar healing since the hydrocolloid patches keep the wound moist. Not only do they keep the scar from appearing hard but reduce its visibility. Rest assured that you will feel comfortable.

Important Considerations When Using OEM Hydrocolloid Patches:
Consult your doctor:
Are you trying to buy Hydrocolloid patches? Don’t skip the process of initial consultation with your doctor. They will examine your scars and advise accordingly.
Not for all scars:
Not all types of scars can be treated by hydrocolloid patches. They may be more beneficial for newer scars that are still red and raised
Change the patch regularly:
As bacteria can start growing on the patch after several days, it is advisable to change it regularly.
Additional Tips For Optimal Scar Healing:
There are someadditional tips that can promote the best scar healing:
Always wear sunscreen to prevent sun damage
Gently massaging the scar can help improve blood flow and promote healing.
Eating a balanced diet rich in nutrients

I don't know who needs to hear this, but if you ever use pimple patches (like starface or mighty patch), the generic name of this type of bandage is hydrocolloid. Sometimes they have other ingredients like essential oils, but those have a negligible effect in comparison.
Medical hydrocolloid bandages/dressings without without a border can be cut to size and used exactly the same way. Bandages with a border also work, but cannot be cut to size.
I bought a 10 pack of 10x10cm dressings from this listing for $11. If you cut a 1x1cm square for each pimple (which is bigger than I usually need) that's 1000 patches compared to the 30 or so you get in a skincare pack for a similar price. Save your money, fuck skincare companies

Skin picking (dermatillomania) alternatives! These help me, but everyone is different.
Alt 1: Pimple Patches - these can help some folks, I would recommend the least amount of added ingredients to start, patches that only have hydrocolloid are my go to. I use starface patches, they are $12.99 a pack and you can get them in store or online!
Alt 2: Peeling Stickers - I get stickers from five below or dollar tree and just peel them off the paper. Sometimes I stick them to things and kinda slowly peel it off stuff.
Alt 3: Picky Pad - This is a common go to for some folks, however the cleanup annoys me. I get worried my cats will eat it. Not a strong recommendation from me.
Alt 4: Keychains, Belts, Fidgets - Accessorizing your outfit can give you more things to fidget with! Wearing earrings or necklaces could help you redirect you picking away from your face. Bracelets and rings can help if you scratch your wrists and arms.
Alt 5: Peelerz Gummies - they’re popular for a reason. I love these things for real. If you can have sugar and don’t mind the stickiness, definitely buy a pack!
Alt 6: Picky Pumice Stone - Again, not super into this one, but it’s popular. The “picking” tool is sharp. This is also not a product to even look at if you have trypophobia
Alt 6: “Scratch to Reveal” Art Kits - these are real good and inexpensive to get a lot.
Please add to this post if you have other coping mechanisms. Thank you!

Pimple Patch Manufacturer: Reduce Acne Scars And Inflammation
Tumblr media
Pimples on your face, big or small, can make your face unattractive. That’s why Pimple patch manufacturer brings the best solution i.e. Hydrocolloid Pimple patches. These are the go-to acne treatment solutions.
Characteristics Of Hydrocolloid Pimple Patches:
Hydrocolloid Pimple patches are made of ‘hydrocolloid’, a 100% vegetable gel. These small, non-toxic, and safe patches are a non-drying/drug-free spot treatment. They are just like translucent stickers and can be easily attached to the skin to treat pimples and acne scars.
Hydrocolloid is a highly absorbent material, making a defensive layer over the blemish. The ultra-thin edge clear/matte finish makes them less noticeable and no irritation when applied.
These Pimple patches can efficiently absorb pus, oil, and other impurities from pimples. They can be used for acne treatment and wound healing. However, for severe acne, you should consult with your dermatologist.
How To Use Hydrocolloid Pimple Patches:
Cleanse your face to remove dirt and oil and let it dry first
Choose the right patch that covers the acne area
Apply it gently to the clean, dry pimple and press down lightly
Leave the patch on for at least 8 hours or overnight or up to 24 hours. Replace it when it turns white and thick
What To Avoid When Using Hydrocolloid Pimple Patches:
Don’t use these pimple patches in the early stages of your pimples. Wait for the inflammation drop and let the major amount of puss come to the skin’s surface.
When using a pimple patch, make sure you clean the dirt from your fingertips and under your nails. Place it on the skin, using the tweezers.
Moreover, read the instructions for using these patches, offered by your Hydrocolloid Pimple patch manufacturer.
The Multifaceted Benefits of Hydrocolloid Pimple Patches:
Reduced Inflammation- Hydrocolloid patches reduce inflammation (redness and swelling) by absorbing excess fluid and creating a moist environment. It minimizes the risk of post-inflammation.
Faster Healing- Pimple patches promote faster healing of blemishes. Rest assured that your breakouts disappear quickly. You can experience         clear skin faster.
Scar Reduction- Hydrocolloid patches can help prevent them from worsening. It lessens the chance of scar tissue formation by minimizing inflammation and promoting faster healing. They act as a strong barrier to prevent from picking at your blemishes.
Hygiene Hero- When there is acne on your face, don’t touch it which is a bad habit. It can lead to bacteria and worsen inflammation. Hydrocolloid patches act as a physical barrier and prevent you from doing it.
Easy to Use and Discreet- Applying a pimple patch is easy. It is like a small sticker or a bandage on your pimple. They are transparent and thin, making them invisible. It allows you to continue your daily routine without any interruption.
Who Can Benefit From Hydrocolloid Patches?
Hydrocolloid patches can work on all types of skin. It is an ideal option for anyone with acne, especially inflamed pimples, whiteheads, or papules (small, red bumps).
If you are looking to avoid scarring after a breakout or are prone to PIH, you can gain benefits from these pimple patches.
However, if the acne is deep, with painful nodules, or white pus-filled bumps, don’t hesitate to consult a dermatologist for the best solutions.

Hi! I sent in the question about stress acne. I just wanted to let you know that it’s mostly cleared now!!! Thank you so much for that advice seriously. You’re literally a life saver! Also I’m still going to my dermatologist but thank you for the short term help 🫶🫶🫶🫶
I’m so happy that I could help! Some more tips to deal with open breakouts or the aftermath of them: pimple patches are fantastic, but essentially just marked-up hydrocolloid bandages. Instead of buying individual pimples patches, I buy this package of hydrocolloid dressings and simply cut them to the shape I need when I have an active breakout. You get so much more product for a cheaper price!
Hydrocolloid bandages (and pimple patches) work by drawing out fluid, providing a moist environment for healing, and preventing infection. They have also been shown to reduce scarring and dark spots.

“~oh hydrocolloid patches don’t work skin care is a scam~!1”
A combination of silver alginate and hydrocolloid bandages helped heal a wound on my ankle that became infected in the hospital after my car accident, as well as heal wounds on my abdomen after a cholecystectomy. The problem is that people think hydrocolloid bandages branded as “pimple patches” will cure their acne. It doesn’t. Skin care in general is a very important part of medicine that like with any medicine should be well understood or else you’ll end up susceptible to grifters. Hydrocolloid bandages work, you just don’t know how to use them if you say they don’t work and some companies bank on you not knowing how to use them so you’ll just buy “pimple patches” for any pimple, when really they only work on open wounds.
Let’s say you have a pimple that bleeds and/or has pus. A hydrocolloid bandage can help your body get rid of the pus, reduce inflammation, and keep the wound clean and free of infection. It also provides a moist environment for wound healing and for me, it helped reduce scarring. They are tools for wound healing. That’s it. They are not a cure for acne, especially if you have papules and nodules. Not all skin care is out to get you. There are many products that are useful and necessary to maintaining your health, and taking care of your skin is an important part of that process. But, you need to know how to use products before you buy them and avoid buying things just because they’re on trend.

I went and bought myself a vitamin C serum on pure intuition cause I was tired as hell of this chemical burn turned rash situation and ommmmgggg the difference almost immediately. It's also lightening all of my old acne scars noticeably already after 3 applications. I'm shocked
I also got hydrocolloid pimple patches cause I wanted to see what gen Z was on about and honestly these absolutely fuck too. Both are gonna be staples in my routine from now on.
