Hi there!! It's been a while, hasn't it? TwT If you're reading this, thank you so much for sticking around!

W-well, what can I say? This year's been tough. It was the first time I had to work in two (different) schools and I totally felt that. I had so many things to do, some new responsibilities, *so many* meetings...and I'm not gonna lie, I was really, really tense. Like, all the time! I was really looking forward to summer break because I needed (and I still need!) to relax buuuuut my boyfriend and I found a flat to rent and so...let's just say that my summer vacation officially started last Tuesday and so far I've done nothing but lift boxes and furniture and go to Ikea and cry and fight and buy stuff (poor wallet is bleeding) and break down and cry again XD I've been told it's totally normal when you're moving though XDD (I also fell down the stairs, yay. I guess this is not normal but it happens) and of course the weather isn't helping! It's friggin' hot TwT;;;; *sigh* I just hope I get to enjoy these summer days, somehow. I do miss drawing, but I also understand that I need to take it easy. Once again, thank you for sticking around and have a great summer!

I know it's been a little since ive talked about the au or posted anything about it so heres an update!!

I'm still working on this! Don't worry! Just progress is slow because of my physical and mental struggles (Currently mostly physical)! I would just like to warn y'all that sometimes pages may take a bit to come out due to this and don't take me drawing other things as a sign of me not working on this!! Because i promise i am, I'm just in pain so it's hard! I hope y'all understand! ♡

there is something that can be so personal that ALWAYS gets left out in shows about the part where everybody is picking up the broken pieces and stitching each other up, and they're sleeping on the couch to be near each other, and mopping up blood, and talking through trauma, and calming nightmares, and she's gently touching his cheekbone directly under his black eye, and he's splinting his arm for him, and she's making sure everyone drinks water because NOTHING brings the found family together like finding each other after a crisis and taking care of each other and I feel robbed every time they go through all that just for a skip ahead 4 days or a year or something to when they're all fixed

Hello to everyone who could possibly tell me what these surreal pictures are called? I like these very much, they give me a very weird but still pleasant feeling. Bought a used book that REALLY fits Sleuth Jesters! I apologize to the used hardcover Rivington Street book. Its text block will be cut out eventually, but it lived a good life.

I made a few versions of the title page, I'll probably go with 1 or 2.

I didn't make them in word since I haven't gotten that to work yet with the free fonts I've been looking through.

Aiming to put these into the Word document later when I get it working

I've talked about DC's ridiculous whitewashing before, that they turned a character brown just so they won't have to admit the first character is brown (Helena Bertinelli and Selina Kyle/Helena Wayne).

But this case is seriously one of the most ridiculous thing I've seen related to whitewashing.

The whitewashing of Poison Ivy.

She is GREEN.

She is frickin green, why color her in a human skin tone?

Just let her be green! Why white?

Honestly the green suits her so much more.

I love her current series, but why she's white? Why can't artists let her be green?

Also there's Gar/ Beast Boy in his Graphic novel "Teen Titans: Beast Boy"

I haven't seen any real explanation why the artist Gabriel Piccolo gave him a human skin tone.

He's not really white so at least there's that, he's of African decent so at least he got to have some melanin, but I just find it strange.

I understand it's hard to blend in when you're green? And it's about him being a teen. But it still counts as an example of DC erasing green skin tone from character.

Just why?

This type of white washing or human-skin-tone-washing is just so funny to me.

Just let characters be green! Why white? Why human? Huge part of them are based on the fact they are not humans.

I haven't seen any explanation to this phenomenon, if anyone can give me any insights on this subject I'm open to learn.

I don't think there's a real explanation.
