Thinking about helen x cassandra, two misunderstood outcasted women whose troubles mainly stem from the gods’ meddling. Both feeling trapped in some kind of way and experiencing immense amounts of guilt (helen because of the whole trojan war thing, and cassandra because no matter how hard she tries, she cannot warn anyone of what is to come)

The way they would find comfort in one another, helen promising that she will believe cassandra (and the heartbreak that ensues when she doesn’t) and cassandra promising helen that none of this was her fault (no one else sees it that way though, not even helen)

Both of them know they’re utterly doomed so they might as well enjoy what they have with each other while they can
