Ty!!! And yeah Kanade and Honami do seem cute in canon from my admittedly incomplete knowledge, I just also felt like even in canon they probably have. A lot of potential to go wrong. And in the unit swap au I saw my opportunity annnd then didn't leap at it at first since I didn't feel like I knew enough abt them in canon but then I said fuck it and made them ruin eachother <3

Not Ok unit swap kanade is. and shes already Not Ok for early canon #shes very different from canon kanade. mostly in the sense that shes a lot more bitter and hopeless with even more self loathing #and also low key kinda has anger issues?#she has a LOT of hate in her. both for herself and those around her #and a lot of her self hate is caused by said hatred of others #shes in a constant state of making herself feel worse on purpose cause thats all she can fathom herself doing #she starts to do a lot better after she reconnects with the rest of 25ji but its still a slow process to any form of recovery #one of the big causes of her being so much more messed up is that shes even more socially isolated than in canon #25ji were online friends sure but theyre at least something #unit swap kanade went 2 whole years only coming into regular contact with one person.
