And now for something completely different! Y'all, I love alien worlds. I love the terrain painting they usually have and the bizarre landscapes of them. I horde them. So, I will definitely be featuring some of them in world overviews.

This one is one of my favorite alien worlds. It's what I think Lunar Lakes should have been. Its backstory is that it's a human-inhabited ex-mining/prospecting colony on an alien planet, not an alien world inhabited by aliens. So, it's basically familiar sorts of architecture with an exotic backdrop, with a mix of futuristic and grungy. Many of the houses really do give me a vibe of houses that originally were prospector shacks that were haphazardly added on to over time because their layouts are pretty bizarre but yet functional and interesting to look at.

But before we get to that, the relevant info: It's a large, unpopulated world, 2048x2048, but it's built in a pretty compact way, basically in concentric circles on different levels, so it doesn't take forever to get around in it. I'm pretty sure it needs all EPs, and it needs at least a few of the stuff packs, namely Town Life for its grocery rabbithole, and the Katy Perry and Fast Lane packs for deco stuff on various lots. It may need more than that; I suck at identifying this stuff, I'm afraid. Hopefully I'll get better at that as I do these overviews. According to the world's download page the only Store content required is the Lucky Simoleon Casino lot, and so far as I can tell, that's accurate. I think it could have done with some of the Lunar Lakes stuff, but I'm guessing the creator was trying to limit the required Store content. You could always add that stuff yourself.

According to its Exchange page, the world has 41 residential lots and 36 community ones, and I'm assuming that's accurate. I didn't count them. Most of the residential lots are on the small side, many with only one bedroom, but there are also some larger ones with more bedrooms. So while this isn't a world where you'd be able to play lots of large families, if you want to play singles, childless couples, and smaller families, it will work very well.

The world has all spawners except for the Island Paradise and Into the Future ones, but it doesn't have a lot of spawners. Just a few of each of them. (Frankly, I'd add nanite spawners and bot-building facilities, but maybe that's just me.)

The world doesn't have a few things you may or may not want/need it to have:

Military, science, and school rabbitholes.

A fortune teller wagon and a Vault of Antiquity

A library

A festival lot

Consignment shops

A dedicated public pool, though the gym lot has a big pool on it and one of the lots designated as a beach is actually more like a pool.

It does have all the other rabbitholes, including the Into the Future observatory, two fairy arboretums, and multiple diners. The city hall is the ItF one, so if you want the military career available, an easy way to get it would be to use the Transmogrifier mod to turn that into a multifunction city hall/police/military rabbithole. Then, on the lot that currently has a police rabbithole, plunk down a school rabbithole instead. And to fix the lack of SCIENCE!, the world has this big, odd 64x64 park that's mostly concrete (kind of like Hidden Springs's big park) and that only has a little building with restrooms and a small room with a coffeemaker on it. I'm thinking I'd put the ship-shaped science rabbithole from Lunar Lakes there to add science careers to the world.

Oh, and just a note: I took these pictures with this lighting mod in the game (edited so that the moon is super-huge) which I think goes very well with this world's landscaping and overall "feel."

Here are Edit Town and map view of the two main areas in the world. There are a couple other smaller areas, too, but I don't want to do too many pics of this type.

This is the area with most of the rabbitholes. There are also a few parks, a fire station, some residential lots, and the casino lot.

This area has mostly residential lots, but also a fishing spot and a Showtime venue.

Now for some community lots!

This is a fishing spot. It has lots of alien sparklies on it, and it makes the alien sound, too. It's pretty cool. I love the rainbow rocks.

This is supposed to be a mining site, I think. I expected it to have rock/gem spawners, but it doesn't. It does, however, have lots of mushrooms. So if you need a mushroom for, you know, whatever reason.... ;) I'd add rock/gem spawners, though.

This is a dance club, with an Egyptian theme, only in hot pink. Trippy! The world also has a dive bar, an exclusive lounge, and the casino. So, along with the Showtime venues, there's quite a bit of entertainment. Speaking of Showtime venues...

This is a Showtime performance park. There is also the Flying V lot (there's a pic above the cut) and a private venue. So, you can do the Showtime careers in this world, if you like to play them.

This is the back of the junkyard.

This is a cafe lot with a barista and a professional bar, bubble-blowers, and lots of deco from the Katy Perry pack. And that's my Sim blowing bubbles. Just 'cuz.

This is the fire station. And there are lots of other interesting, original (aside from the Store casino lot) community lots, too.

I just love how random they are. All of them are different, all built by the creator of the world and, like I said, they are mostly on the smaller side. Even the larger ones will sometimes have only two bedrooms, so as-is, they aren't really suitable for large families. You could possibly re-partition some of them to make more bedrooms, though. The first pic in this batch is the largest house in this world. It has five bedrooms, while the others have fewer. Overall, there are some very interesting builds in this world.

My Yearend Techs & Misc. Items Summary - 2023

Hello! So ummm... 2023 was a semi-disaster, in my opinion. As if 2022 wasn't good enough my mood, though. 📅😟 At first glance, I was slightly smooth ride in the beginning of 2023, but with bad sightings and throwing toxics at me (not really, IRL), I went into downward spiral... 😞😭 But, I could always get up, dust myself, and once again moved on my life to see what my future install in 2024. 💪 #KeepMovingForward

Anyway, enough for that, let’s talk about my ‘My Yearend Techs and Misc. Items Summary 2023’! And here are my choices per month so far, both ongoing & done topics:

• JAN - Redragon Hylas H260 Gaming Headset (done): Unlike my Redragon Keyboard from 2022 review, I haven't used it since my initial test because I have my current wireless headphone (the ZNT SoundFit) and my go-to QKZ AK7 Pro w/ a replacement wire as my main source of listening music/watching videos on any media devices (namely, my mom's laptop and my smartphone). But, don't get me wrong, it is a cool headset, an affordable price of less than $20, and the sound quality was A-Okay for some gamers (like me). For now, my gaming headset was still inside the box, along with the tote bag. And if my current headset was finally decommissioned, then I'll bring it in as my new main PC headset, not carrying it outside.

• FEB - UGREEN Multifunctional Card Reader USB 3.0 (done): So far, my UGREEN Card Reader is the only source as my main both USB thumb drive and of course my main card reader under one item. Right now, I'm transferring my precious screenshots from my sibling's PS4 Pro console.

• MAR - R.I.P. My Old Anker Powerport 2: The first of three abandoned items is my good old Anker Powerport 2, who I ordered it from an expensive website (galleon.ph) in Jan 2017. Although, it worked sometimes, it didn't last long. But hey, after all the new features for the USB charger has changed. So, I guess I need a new one, someday. Whether a different brand or the same as my old one. Who knows?

• APR - Samsung SSD 970 EVO Plus NVMe M.2 Drive (done): Ah yes, my first ever owned NVMe memory stick, and its a 100% genuine brand, no less. While the alternative physical HDDs are still produced, so does the NVMe Solid State Drives, and also the SATA Solid Drives, too. But, since my Motherboard had a proprietary M.2 slot, it'll be an opportunity for me to switch from the bulky 3.5mm HDD to a miniature Solid State Drive, with a much faster speed rate than the regular alternative one's slower paced. And let me tell ya, it delivers to my custom PC!

• MAY - R.I.P. My HD (or HDD): Speaking of, here's the second of three abandoned items that we're sadly didn't make a 2nd life. And you know, this is my most heart-breaking moment of 2023. Why? Well, its hard to explain... All I can say is, that I messed up a year ago. So much so, I need to moved on and I'll be try as I can. Unless if I have a occupation with a decent payout, then I might chance to save it. For now, though, it is still buried inside the carton box, with a anti-static plastic to prevent interior damage. Please, go to my link for my entire reason.

• JUN - My PC Cooling Upgrades (done): So, as if my NVMe memory stick wasn't enough, I also purchased two PC item upgrades for my custom PC, and it was a success for... Less than a day. Why? Well, let's proceed our next one. Shall we?

• JUL - R.I.P. My GPU Card: Well this one... The third (and last) abandoned item. To this day, my custom PC remain semi-decommissioned because of this outdated (MSi) GPU card/Graphics card, who sadly didn't go the distance after 7 years... Looks like, my custom PC didn't make it in 2023. But fear not, my precious files on my NVMe drive still intact, so not all is lost. I'll be bringing my custom PC to a good quality computer repair store, this January 2024. I promise.

• AUG - My Family's Old Film Camera from the 90s: Time for a little throwback with this awesome looking 90s film camera. Man, I can't believe it is still pristine condition after few decades to unused, it deserves a quality custom case than putting back inside the box with assorted of random items. Pls, go to link for my explanation.

• SEPT - A Nokia Vintage Phone from the 90s: Another 90s item is this gorgeous ancient phone from Nokia (model 104 - circa 1992). It far too late to fix this despite its age, but it still memorable for my parents, nonetheless. Pls, go to link for more information.

• OCT - My Fake Samsung 870 EVO Solid State Drive (done): While my 970 EVO Plus was 100% genuine Samsung brand, the 870 EVO Solid State Drive was the exact opposite! And let me tell ya, there are a lot of 'Red Flags' on this 870 EVO wannabe here. Though, this isn't my first fake Samsung item that I've ordered. If you want more info then please click the link (from above).

• NOV - My first Samsung non-genuine item (done): And here's my first encountered a fake Samsung item from an online app store (namely, Lazada PH). And like before it, there are also 'Red Flags' beneath this silicon memory flash chip. Trust me, I compared it with my genuine one, so please go to link for my entire information.

• DEC - My Audio Wire Replacement (for QKZ AK6 Pro) (done): And lastly was this one. I could thank my adorable pet rabbit named 'Pepper' for chewing my original cable wire without notice, and to that was on me letting my pet rabbit chewing on while I was asleep. Thus, I've purchased an audio wire replacement, and its fa r better than the original one albeit the sound quality very identical as before.

IMPORTANT NOTE: No 'Honorable Mentions', this year.

I'm working on having less clutter in our home so I don't feel suffocated myself, and so I don't suffocate my roommate.

It makes it really easy that our mutual 3rd roommate's cat did pp on these shadow palettes. They're enormous but I loved them - so having them rendered unsanitary really helps letting me let them go c:

I could give a rat's ass about the warm tones in the 35m boss mood artistry palette; it's really only ever been about 2, MAYBE 4 lime green shadows in here. I'm more than confident Miss Angela Nyqvist has got me covered with alts 😌 (and honestly, I should have looked into them before ever even thinking about the morphe palette, because what the fuck. It didn't want to give up any of the pigment, like at all...)

Now the BH Cosmetics palette... hurted. The purple shades were the closest I've gotten in my sizable yet meandering disarrayed and thoughtless drugstore-priced collection to the sweet little pastel lavender shades that pull warm enough to be wearable and not look like a nightmare on me. They would have fit right in with this y2k trend that's probably already outlasting its welcome judging by how kinda inaccessible and unattainable and intimidating it is (and how uncomfortably it reminds the collective of the standards and common practices of the beauty industry of the time the trend is emulating; I love today's warm debridement of the nightmare of the industry landscape of yesteryear, and how patient the world's been with people with body shapes like mine. I absolutely would have loved to have been able to have participated in these trends in an idealized form more closely resembling the willow limbs of back then, but I'm not going anywhere near it as I am.)

But so anyway, cat peed on or around the astrology palette and now it's infused with the stinky. The colors were cute, the baked shadows were hella metallic, the pigment came right off the pan and almost exactly the same on my lid (with the exception of maybe the matte scorpio shade? One of them definitely looks more neutral/cool brown in the pan but definitely pulls cool wine on my lid!!) and I never got enough time to play with the teal shadows, and definitely not with the aquarius shadow (I love to hold onto resentment, but using it with a manifestation of forgiveness might have helped things along; also infusing it with the energy of other aquarii that I DO like c:)

Then there were these cute, comfortable, but ultimately unused smaller more hand-sized palettes that I just didn't use as much as I would have thought or wanted.

I was smitten by the original wet n wild nude awakening palette, despite having purchased either a dud or the formula was just as bad as it appeared to be to me - the original palette gucking sucked and I tried salvaging it in ways with the elf rose gold palette in ways that I didn't even know how to receive any satisfying results :v To this day, I probably wouldn't have been able to pull it off, but if I had put a single red dime to the urban decay naked 3 palette, my native tax bracket would lose and I'd be a class traitor. Again.

So this Coloricon reformulated palette was a beautiful no brainer experience c: She was a fuckin dream - absolutely nothing like that non-trademark iconic predecessor formula for the walking on eggshells palette from before, but still just so much more workable than whatever the original nude awakening was offering.

I'm sad I didn't enjoy smoky essentials more, but i guess the blue just wasn't making the impact I had hoped for? I don't know, it just didn't speak to me, despite my birthstone being a sapphire so you'd think (but, as I'm learning these past couple years, padparadscha fucking exists, and she is such a hoot- I LOVE my peachy/coral colourpop palette dedicated to her :^)

Again, I didn't want the 1 percenters to win, even though I HAD the little hand sized little urban decay travel sized little naked...2? palette, the little one with exactly these shades, if just all-matte, and apparently would have been really decent shadow and face/contour multifunction powder, but I guess I'll never know because I decluttered that shit WHEN I HAD GOTTEN IT FOR FREE, DAMN why.

Oh well. This formula unfortunately doesn't impress me nearly as much as my tarte energy noir, so point: gentrifiers.

I don't know why I bother with hard candy. Some of their shimmer shadow formulas from palettes past had really lived up to the brand name going by the texture. It was like little pop rocks or pixie styx or nerds. A lot of them sucked, some of them barely came out of the pan (it was like rubbing a shiny green brick! There was probably that barrier coating the shadow that would have been resolved with just working through it with a few scraping of a coarse brush to debride it a bit, hit highly-pigmented gold but alas), and too few were exactly as creamy and reflective as I demand any given eyeshadow that deigns to market itself as a shimmer to be. I am brutal about the shimmer shades I have to put coin to.

This. Overcorrection. Was not the direction I wanted hard candy take its shimmer formulas to. I hate makeup revolution shades. Those and this cringey palette feel like playing with literal children's makeup, in that it feels like it's literally made of kids' toys, namely playdoh. It is the weirdest thing and I hate it because it reminds of this one classmate when I was in pre-k and his skin was just gummy. And his features reflected that gummy quality too?!?!? I have no idea how to describe it but SEEING HIM had the texture quality of being gummy when I visually observed and perceived him. Does that make any sense at all???

That's what the makeup revolution and this hard candy formula oil rig pump up from the marianas trench pits of my deeply repressed soul.

I wish I hadn't ever acknowledged the purple palette but I have to hate something, I'm like clinically compelled to.

It looks like I won't be folding laundry "tonight."

My main goals today are to get some spray foam into the window frames of my larger two windows, and to at least empty out the van and use the cardboard I picked up, to frame out the spaces that I've theorized and ideated over, and make adjustments before I begin to finalize my furniture ideas. And like I've mentioned, then I wanted to play with the actual designs before I get attached to them. So that will involve some half-assed 1:1 scale maquettes, lots of glue and masking tape. Luckily, the cardboard was totally free. I can reuse it, destroy it, and recycle it, then if I need, go back and get more. But unlike my dad, I'm rather cockily confident that cardboard is as legit and construction and furniture material as wood. So if I design something out of cardboard and love it, push the design and really end up investing in it, I may just push the material even further and keep the cardboard version for a while. My dad likes to throw at me that cardboard has a lower ignition point than wood.......but honestly. If shit's already on fire, does ignition point really matter? Plus, doesn't paint and other finish change all that anyway? If I cover cardboard with primer and any of that, to conceal and protect the material, we're no longer talking solely about the cardboard's ignition point. Oh, I need to remember to seal coat the glitter onto my curtains. I honestly have to say, I think I'm a ways off from even contemplating finishing my home. For starters, I haven't even gotten the tower out and it's been like three months, so I can't even finish the floor properly. After the floor is finished, I have a handful of designs to suss through and I don't think all of them are going to fit. I might not actually like some of the designs in practice. It would be cheaper and more effective to find out with cardboard. Also, I have pretty much no idea what I want in regards to, to me, the most important piece of furniture: My desk. My studio. I just know after the last couple desks that I've used, I like a very large amount of surface space, no matter what I'm working on. I don't mind sitting right under a shelf, but I don't want my shelves inside my working space. I would rather not have any direct visual chatter directly in front of me, but I would like to try a slightly high laptop stand with open space beneath. As much of a waste as it is, I don't like storage under my desk, so that space might be better devoted to computer stuff, garbage and completed projects. Additionally, I need the whole space to be multifunctional. To store my possessions, to serve as a space for storage, preparation, and enjoyment of food--as well as a place to get dressed, to clean up and care for myself, to welcome and host guests. To be a place that impresses and puts at ease invited and uninvited guests alike. I want it to be a well composed, mature, professional and home space--the opposite of the hobo crash pad it looks like right now. Using the space has also gotten me to turn my mind to such usually quotidian needs as a place to put my groceries or other purchases/acquisitions that serves me from the ground outside as much as standing inside the van; or curling up near a window to take in the sun or the view, to read a book or do some sewing. A place to store dishes, a place to deposit shoes and to put them on, a place for books to call home, a place to store coats and keys. If it's going to be entirely custom, it might as well be 100% made for my life. In the short term, I think I've pretty much given up on getting my loft. I think I told you guys about my dad turning to me and telling me back my own original idea for the roof as if he'd come up with the idea himself. I'm just going to make the existing space work. When it's warm enough, I'll try to keep making a bit of progress on the floor until it's ready for the actual flooring, and get that all put down.... I guess if I'm going to be pulling all my furnishings out, cardboard might be the best idea until everything is done.

My UGREEN Multifunctional Card Reader USB 3.0 Review (w/ my paper dolls) - Part 2 (Final) [Feb 17th, 2023]

Hello, here's the Final Part (Part 2) of my UGREEN Multifunctional Card Reader USB 3.0 review (featuring my Paper Dolls). 😊 📂➡️🖥️/💻/📱

So, without further ado, let's continue!

• So, what about an OTG? Will it work with my Card Reader combined with the OTG USB for my phone? Let's find out, as I insert my old & functional Strontium 64GB TF card & another SD card, this time for the actual counterpart (and not the adapter one) onto my Card Reader before I combined the OTG & plugged it into my Honor 8C smartphone. 📂📲

BTW: That Micro USB OTG device was came from the other item. I wish I could share, but, I'll keep that as my private. 🤫

• Nonetheless, my Card Reader works on my OTG phone! (like a charm) As you could see, it reads two memory cards on my "File Manager" app, much like on the PC. So, let's copy the videos that I've recorded moments ago by browsing my 256GB TF card & duplicate them onto my OTG Card Reader's SD Card (the blue Transcend brand). For a total of 456.49 MB size (for two recorded videos), this will take a minute & a half seconds (1 minute & 38 seconds, with 13 milliseconds to be precise). That's fast! 😁 Now, let's go back to my PC, shall we?

• Alright, time to plug my Card Reader onto my PC, once again & move my two recorded videos onto that "Video" folder in a blaze speed transfer! Even ejecting the SD cards was very quick & blinked in a second before I unplug it safely thanks to the USB 3.0 they chose for this card reader. But, what if I plug the USB 3.0? Good thing, my nylon braided extension cable was already attached! Which, by the way, is the same brand as my card reader! 😁 the result was a very outstanding speed rate by copying random videos from my Strontium 64GB TF Card! 😃📂➡️🖥️ I even try to copy all snapshot files through my external HD with both USB 3.0 plugged in, and it took me 3 minutes to complete compared to 4 minutes with USB 2.0 to 3.0's speed rate. 🙂 I would say, pretty much quite the same result depending on many sizes I want to copy using my Card Reader plugging the USB 3.0 port. ⏱️

• I enjoyed & happy to own this cool UGREEN USB Card Reader! 😊 Because transferring my memorable files are important for my computer tasks, and without this, I wouldn't transfer them onto my bigger storage to make room for my SD/Micro SD Cards or transfer it from my phone & vice versa. 📂➡️🖥️ And my paper dolls are ready to appear more moments via snapshot before I copy it 🖼️📲😊, and not eating my physical memory cards. (So again, don't ever do it! lol) 😅 And without USB 3.0 built-in on my Card Reader, I wouldn't have the blazing transfer speed performance, in case I'm in the situation (very rarely, in my opinion).

• I ordered this Card Reader from... You guessed it, Lazada PH 🛒🌐🇵🇭 for ₱ 233 & discounted to ₱ 167.75 on April 6th, 2021. Pretty huge discount back then. 😁🏷️💵 As of this writing (2023), it is now ₱ 323 [CLICK ME!] & it is still available to purchase (whether from Lazada, Shopee, Aliexpress, Amazon, etc...). 🙂

Hi... I'm feel very depressed... Why?😟

This month wasn't so lucky. My old hard drive (that contains all of my files including my precious artworks, files, videos, etc.) will soon be dead, then my life is completely silent.😟😔😭

As of now, I don't have the earnings for paying the disk recovery store to save my hard drive & I'm still desperately finding a job in the middle of the pandemic. My apologies for my emotion, I don't think that I would not continue my tech & misc. item topics until I'm completely cured of frown condition.😟

My Keweisi USB Multifunctional Tester review (w/ my paper dolls) - Part 2 (Final) [Sept 14th, 2022]

(1st & 2nd Images) Alright, so for this final part, I’m testing out my Keweisi USB multifunctional tester with three functional devices. My 20000mAh Romoss power bank had dried out the energy juices, so now it’s time to charge up! Well, I would say an “unofficial” charging test, but, this is Keweisi’s USB multifunctional tester we’re talking about. 🙂⚡🔋⏱️

• Okay so, to get this working test, I plug my Huawei USB wall charger before the multifunctional tester. Once the two combined, the tester lit showing the stats in rainbow color fonts. Nice! And then my two remaining tools to plug in. I should plug the USB type A first before hitting the power bank w/ my message USB type C cable. Once all set up, the tester is now timing and other parameters. And according to that, my Huawei USB wall charger is a 2A or 2 Amperes, which is a fast charger (if not certified as Quick Charge 3.0 technology ❌⚡🚅). (Please see 3rd & 4th images ↓).

I didn't mean to get diatribe-y. I mostly intended to complain that this guy didn't seem to have tried to cram in any level of makeshift bathroom. But he's much older than I am, and male. Plus, I'm lazy, and cheap, and up to my ears in hygienic paranoia. The thought of wearing flipflops in the shower irritates me, the thought of just using public <i>toilets</i> juuuusssssstttttt........ iiiiicccccck. I would rather at least give my own thing a try and keep trying until I figure it out. Especially if it keeps my ass from freezing unnecessarily this winter.

However, this space is just not going to work if my dad can't match his words with gestures. Or I'm going to have to take matters into my own hands. No matter what that entails. I won't wait around. I have places to be and stuff to be doing.

One thing that is definitely necessary to the value of my floor square footage is, whatever I'm doing with the bed, the bed/sleeping space needs to be multifunctional, like all the space. I really don't know how I can say that and be planning this desk that will be pretty monofunctional, y'know? Like, the kitchen where I do food stuff, will also be the place I brush my teeth and get my shower water. But even though I may eat at my desk, my desk is my studio space. It will be the space where I work, and not much more. Even if the desktop drops down or folds up or whatever so it doesn't take up that floor space, that space is still for my work. idk I'm groggy rn and not really getting at what I want to be. Maybe it's important to me to have a workspace that is just my workspace--it'll be good for my mindset.

Well, on that, since the desk is going to be positioned in front of the back doors, I'm not sure if I should contemplate pretending the doors don't open, or if I should design the desk to allow the doors to open. Or maybe I can design the desk to allow the doors to open, but carry on pretending that they don't. Like......maybe a storage built onto the door and a desktop to drop down and rest on the storage on the door. Maybe I can start by having less workspace than I would have ideally, and expand slowly. I'll probably figure something out. I just need to figure out any math on opening doors with storage on them.

I need to run to the bank and cash my check. Then I need to buy some fabric, like maybe a heavy cotton fabric, or something. I guess I'm more interested in the pattern, since I can back it with just about anything, but the pattern is going to be in my space every day, influencing the space. I need to cover the windows so I can get dressed.

Bookshelves. I have a lot of books that I like having, plus, bookshelves are good. Books are good for a space. I need shelves for my sketchbooks and notebooks anyway, plus there's this manga I'm invested in. Maybe a bookshelf will be good for under the desk.

I'm not actually certain how the kitchen that I had in my head is going to play out, and I have too much time before I can even find out. The carpet is pretty well glued down, so I may have no choice but to just sanitize it and cover it with more rug. Eugh. But at least I could throw out a cheap rug when it gets gross. I'm going to be cooking in this space though.....I'm prone to food winding up on the floor when I'm just eating..... I'll probably figure it out.... like everything else. This is my project. I'll figure out what's the best solution for me.
