I’m meeting my D&D group on Sunday for session 0 and I still have NO IDEA what I’m doing and filling out this character sheet is TOO complicated goddamn
#dnw our DM is helping me with this#I just find it hilarious that my first solid case of impostor syndrome is for fricking D&D#I will NOT fake it till I make it I will simply play a character so all over the place that nobody will see the secret reveal coming#I’m going to use my I don’t know shit thing to my advantage#chalk inconsistencies up to my lack of experience#and not the fact my character isn’t who he says he is#will I pull it off????? who knows#I’m obviously going to make my own D&D journal and I’m going to have like pull out tabs and flaps to hide secrets behind#but until then all I’ve got is loose sheets of notes on spells and shut bc idk how anything works#why did I join this group you ask. I could lie and say I don’t know but the truth is.#I’m trying to make friends in this godforsaken city#and if D&D is how I do it then SO BE IT#I’ve literally assigned myself playmates as if I’m 5 years old#I am 35.#good night
