Ambrose when he (gasp) HAS A TAKE ON SPRUNKI CHARACTERS?? THIS IS A MOMENT IN HISTORY !!!

I don't think that horror mode ACTUALLY actually happened. It was just a series of nightmares that everyone remembers as if it happened in the real world.

For context, the whole cast lives in a HUUUUUGE house owned by Wenda and Black caused the nightmares. Note that they are unable to die in the nightmares.

Wenda is from a SUPER wealthy family and inherited the mansion from a distant relative who included her in his/her will for whatever reason. So here she is with this HUGE house with like 15 vacant rooms. Of course, she's lonely (but that's because she is a serious jerk.) so she rents out the rooms for MUCH LOWER than how much rent usually is for a tiny apartment. Little does she know, there's an old basement dwelling spirit who does nothing but watch TV all day (Black) living in the mansion.

So for starters, Wenda is really snobby and just a passive aggressive jerk to everyone. Which is why she has no friends. She was basically like "hey I'm renting out these rooms in my mansion for like 300 bucks a month PLEASE I'M SO LONELY!" In horror mode (nightmare) she took her anger out on everyone cuz she knew she was dreaming and pretty much became mad with power.

Grey is just some dog who takes pictures at really awkward angles and posts them to Myspace. He's usually just quiet when he's home. But when he's at a show he's a different story. He "survived" the nightmares because he hid in the basement the entire time.

Garnold is a HUGE robotics geek and a big music producer as well. Like, making Fun Bot with Clukr was their Magnum Opus. They also programmed Fun 'Puter using an old monitor they found at a thrift store. They eventually built a suit for themself, making a sort of mechanism so they can lift heavy stuff without many issues. When they go to events with Simon, everyone is impressed by their suit. In the nightmare, said strength mechanism went haywire and crushed them in their suit.

Clukr is the "maid" of the house. He cleans up everything because nobody else does a good enough job according to him. He is OBSESSED with routine, so everyone thought it would be a good idea to let him do planning for the constant parties being held at the mansion. It was in fact, NOT a good idea. He's stressed all of the time but he's such a people pleaser, too. He has a slight (and by slight I mean HUGE) crush on Garnold. In the nightmares, he found Garnold frozen stiff on a hill, and when he went to check on them, a piece of their suit flung right into his head.

Raddy is SUPER, SUPER hateful. He hates Jevin and Tunner and misgenders Garnold and Sky constantly. If he's not playing video games in the basement, he's at the gym. In the nightmares, he was subject to a mob beating after he called Brud the r-bomb.

Oren is just... An alien dude I guess. He watches "indie" films, listens to "indie" music, and has anything with "indie" in the name. He goes to the skatepark with Grey and teaches him how to skate. He and Simon share a room, and of course, there is roommate drama. In the nightmares, he just got messed up by Wenda for some petty reason.

Simon is ALSO an alien guy. He goes to a TON of raves and has flyers strewn across his wall. Oren complains about him leaving dead glowsticks all over the floor but he's like, "whatever." He's super nice and gives out bracelets to everyone. In the nightmares, he got "corrupted." He can't see, but he can sense who is around him.

OWAKCX is some humanoid thing. His room resembles that of the inside of a rusty trailer. Sucks that Clukr's room is right next door to this guy. He is probably on everything you can think of on the top of your head. He actually got into rehab once, but they kicked him out because he was being super creepy to everyone around him. He also cheats on Vineria. A lot. In the nightmares he was partially skinned by Wenda (by Vineria's request.)

Speaking of Vineria, she's also humanoid-ish. She's super connected with nature, and has a full on greenhouse going on in her room. She has an elitist attitude when it comes to using all-organic stuff, and she even told of Pinki for wearing makeup once. Her nightmare version was caused by a corruption. She can't see, but unlike Simon, she can't sense people or objects around her.

Sky is a runaway who found the mansion after taking a bus to who knows where. Tunner opened the door to them and was like, "WENDY (sic), WE GOT ANOTHER CHILD!" They used to live with their SUPER unsupportive parents and decided to run away after they overheard them sending them to camp. After about two years of living at the mansion, Garnold and Clukr pretty much became their parental figures. In the nightmare, Sky was trying to defend themself against Wenda and a whole bunch of sharp pipes fell on them.

Jevin is a humanoid-type thing. He bottles up his emotions a lot and barely lets them show. He has industrial metal posters hung up in his room, but under his bed is a different story. He has a bunch of vintage Barbies and a pride flag under it. He keeps it secret because of Raddy's constant hostility towards him as well as the fact he wants to keep up his spooky/dark image. He "survived" the nightmares cuz instead of hurting him physically, Wenda decided to mess with him mentally. I'll explain this when I get to Tunner.

Durple is just your average fast-food drone who hates his life. He's also a water-dragon of some sort. He can breathe underwater so he has to clean up the pool despite him stating several times that he can't breathe in water that is full of chlorine. He also does dares and is MESSED UP after every party hosted at the mansion. He got corrupted in the nightmares. The following morning, he would slowly type, "Dream of.... Jaw... Being dislocated....... Meaning."

Pinki is a SUUUUUPER girly girl. She hosts tea parties all of the time and knows where to get the best party decorations! She's also a good baker and the designated cook of the house. She's also amazing at sewing (though Vineria is better than her), and made Kevin's cloak. In the nightmare, her face was ripped off by Wenda because she was jealous of her relationship status, as well as her beauty.

Tunner is a lizard-type guy who just keeps everyone from danger. He bottles up like Jevin, but he isn't afraid to show his anger, especially against Raddy. He also complains about people having too much screen time despite him being on level 9264 of Candy Crush LOL. He also gets everyone's names wrong (he called Jevin "Kevin" when they first met. He even called Durple "Spyro" once.) He was shot by his own gun in the nightmare. Wenda just thought his accent (which was kind of exaggerated) annoying and he was like "WENDY WHY IS THE SKY RED" and shot him. She then thought of Jevin (hurting him physically would do nothing.) and decided to drag Tunner's almost-corpse over to Jevin just to mess with him.

Fun Bot and Fun-Puter were unscathed but traumatized, despite not having the brains to actually have dreams. Not even Garnold knows how they were able to recall events from the nightmares.

Sooooo.... How did the nightmares happen in the first place? When Sky first moved in, they wanted to live in the basement for some reason. When they were moving their stuff downstairs they found Black with its face taped to the TV watching the series finale to the universe-equivalent of "The Young and the Restless". And Black got distracted by Sky RIGHT when the big twist ending happened, and it got REALLY mad about it. So as punishment they subjected all of the residents to 14 nights of nightmares.

I may draw Tunner with a lion like tail , but he's not a lion .

I have this big inside joke that he's a mixture of every animal , and when you ask him what species he is he replies with either "I'm Tunner ." Or saying he's part any random animal depending on his mood .

I make this post because I just had someone comment on my tunner art saying "why is he a lion isn't he supposed to be a dog he's better as a dog"

Well , 1. Nyanko said he's probably a lizard

Oh, and btw, most of the things here are canon divergent, so I might not follow up with most of the lore ☝️

First of, we have the happy world-

Oren, Raddy and Pinki are in a poly relationship (Oren is dating both Raddy and Pinki- Raddy and Pinki aren't dating but are good friends)

Oren is the defintion of a cool cat (cool butterfly??) and love skateboards

Raddy (the red dinosaur(?)) likes sports and working out (and needs anger management ngl-)

Clukr (silver beetle) and Garnold (golden yellow fish) are inventors and work partners on building robots and machines (maybe they're not just "friends"? 👀)

Fun Bot and Mr. Fun Computer look up to Clukr and Garnold as their father figures since they've built them

Vineria (green snail) is a gardener and is into plants

Vineria wears a wig-

Gray and Wenda are opposites but are best friends (not related but they've known each other for a long time)

Gray (grey cat-like demon) is quiet and introverted while Wenda (white kitty) is chatty and extroverted

Brud (brown dog-like slime creature) isn't really the brightest Sprunki but he's a very silly and goofy guy :3

OWAKCX (lime hedgehog) (pronounced oh-wah-ka-ks") works as businessman

Most of the Sprunkis call OWAKCX "Lime" cuz it's easier (he doesn't mind tho)

OWAKCX has a crush on Vineria but is nervous to tell her in person

Sky (sky blue bear cub) is the youngest of the Sprunkis (he's 14 while everyone else are adults)

Sky likes collecting plushies- His favorites are teddy bears

Durple (purple dragon) is a collector and can play the trumpet- He also likes reading books

Mr. Sun is pretty much a talking sentient sun- That's it :P

Mr. Tree is a talking sentient tree who has a lot of wisdom- He's also lived around to be 50 years old

Simon (yellow alien) is described as "eater of foods" :P

Simon has golden retriever energy :>

Tunner (tan reptile bunny hybrid) is the sheriff of the Sprunkis and tries to protect them from danger

Pinki (pink bunny) is big sweetheart and cares a lot for her friends

Jevin (blue vampire bat) is a mysterious guy- But despite his ominous look, he's pretty chill and tries to join the other Sprunkis' activities

Jevin and Tunner are married ^^

Blackhat (unknown entity) is.. well.. pretty much a terrible person- He's in jail-

OWAKCX and Blackhat have some.. pretty bad history- It could explain why he's super anxious and paranoid

And now the horror world..

The horror world was like the happy world until Wenda found a black hat that she given by a mysterious black figure

Oren had the inside of his body cut open- He's also blind in both eyes

Raddy got hung by his neck and had half of his face and the lower part of his body ripped off

Clukr's cymbal crushed half of his head

Fun Bot and Mr. Fun Computer have no injuries but seem aware of what's going on (they've seen some things-)

Vineria got mutated by her wig where this version of hers turned out to be a fungus

Gray is uninjured and was able to escape, but he's very traumatized- He just wants his friend back <:(

Brud got half of his head bitten off by Simon (he doesn't feel any pain, which is why he's alive)

Garnold got the springlock treatment in his own robot suit

OWAKCX had the skin of his mouth and lower body ripped off like it was paper

Sky got himself impaled by four metal rods (jesus.. ._.)

Similar to Fun Bot and Mr. Fun Computer, Mr. Sun and Mr. Tree have no injuries but are very aware of what's going on

Durple got corrupted and became an abnormal entity- He also has a very stretchy mouth

Simon morphed himself to be more monstrous

Simon bit Brud out of hunger which he instantly regretted (Brud quickly forgave him cuz he doesn't even remember the incident lol)

Due to stress, Tunner shot himself in the head, thinking he wasn't able save all his fellow Sprunkis and he failed as a sheriff (thankfully he was found by Jevin)

Wenda is either possessed and/or manipulated by the black hat, which she ended up attempting to murder some of her friends

Pinki got her face ripped off by a wooden plank (HTF reference?)

Jevin also escaped uninjured, but is determined to put an end what is happening

Legends say that even Wenda is fighting off the black hat..

"Aw'right, Techy... Keep yer eyes open. Oh- And, uh.. Tell Jev I'd like t' see him again soon." Tunner huffed as he left. ... Meanwhile, within the temple, Techy's assumptions would be correct. Where is everyone? Why is everything so dark and dull? It smells of wet dog and you swear you can see movements within the shadows... You will find Jevin at the altar in the sanctuary, praying and chanting softly to himself

Here are headcanons for Marm and Mard:

Mard is neurodivergent/autistic

They split their money 50/50

They sometimes race to who can hand out food the fastest/most (its friendly competition)

They actually escaped the Black Hat incident unharmed besides the hot dog stand being burned (but did catch a glimpse at a human girl?)

The Sprunki's consider them parts of the gang

Marm is a bit nervous/worried that Brud might do something that gets him and Mard injured (Brud is careful)

Marm oddly has a bond with Jevin (due to me feeling like they have some similarities in personality)

Marm doesn't allow anyone to swear infront of Mard

Marm and Mard definitely don't trust Midnight Coal when they met however their are nicer to him to make Brud happy (spoiler:BRUD WAS RIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIGHT-)

Marm definitely has sworn in earshot of Mard before XD (and flips people off covering Mards eyes)

Mard sometimes wears Bruds bucket

Occasionally a sprunki or two works with them

They give Sky free food and SKY ONLY (they do give discounts to some of the others) plus they feel bad for what happened to Sky and due to him being a bapie but Sky insists he pay (thats how sweet Sky truly is)

Occasionally the Sprunkis mistake one for another (aka they accidentally call Marm Mard and vice versa)

The couples sometimes go out on dates at their stand (Mel and Wenda,Pinkie,Oren and Raddy,Jevin and Tunner,Clukr and Garnold etc)

Marm acts like a tough guy to Brud but when he makes an adorable face bro instantly folds and switches his personality

They do have ketchup and the Sprunkis sometimes teases them with it (particularly getting extra ketchup)

They share a house together (Brud occasionally sleeps over and they definitely don't occasionally see Simon peaking in like:👁👁🤨🤨)

I think I'm done next I'm gonna do their actual relationships with the Sprunkis

What’s with this “Tighnari and Cyno are siblings” bs? Because they said they are like siblings? And why are some people treating this as if only Asian countries use brother/sister as terms of endearment? Once again Twitter ruins other people’s perceptions of what American culture is actually like. Brother/sister and bro/sis are endearing here too, calling someone your bro doesn’t actually mean you’re related. Plus in many religions here we call everyone brother/sister. It’s not American culture, it’s just EN Twitter culture. No one calls Ayato and Itto brothers despite Itto calling him “my bro Ayato”, because they’re so obviously not brothers. Even if you ignore the fact that Tighnari and Cyno look nothing alike, don’t you think it’s a little weird that one of them is... idunno... HALF DOG?? And if Tighnari and Cyno were actually siblings, don’t you think it’d be important enough to mention in a voiceline?? Mika isn’t even out yet and we already know he’s Huffman’s little brother! I can at least understand thinking Diluc and Kaeya are brothers because most people only see the dogshit localization, so the only hint they’d get to the real relationship is the fact that Kaeya is still Kaeya Alberich and not Ragnvindr, but thinking Tighnari and Cyno are seriously brothers because they said they are “like siblings” is quite the leap for an average player.

Kicking at the chalk you’d used in your ritual a bit to muss up the lines (not that they could be used for anything else), you note to clean up your mess later as you run about collecting what you need. Your travel coat, your shoulder bag, your sword, all things you kept in your work room. The last thing you needed, however, was the watch Star was attached to. 

Star was technically all over your hive now a days. An AI who use to go by the name Mabel, given to you by a long lost friend, she now called herself Star and had made a home of the computers and surveillance systems your brother, Calib, once had rigged through the hive for more nefarious purposes.She still, however, frequented outings with you held within the high-tech watch she originally was homed in. The watch itself has seen a few upgrades since, all thanks to Star’s own technological prowess. Truly an heir of Harley genius. Generally you kept the watch upstairs, in your room next to your main computer because Star had the ability to interact with it there.  “✨- Omg omg omg omg!!!!” A chime like an old videogame twinkle effect sounded over some speakers, signalling Star was taking them over to speak. She could technically reach you in the basement, but didn’t have cameras down there to see what you had been doing. Regaurdless, she sounded excited. “✨- This is it this is it!!  ✨- You’re finally gonna go find her! It’s been like, elevendy billion years Callie!  ✨- I bet she’s gonna be like! SO SO HAPPY! When you find her I mean. YEAH!” “heh, maybe? i mean i hope so. i’ve missed her, bUt it’s still kinda weird she’s never tried to come back on her own.”   “✨- She’s going to be so happy that you’re RESCUING HER!” “star, i really don’t think she needs rescUed. i mean droog didn’t, she’s every bit as capa-” “✨- Then how come she never came home?” “that’s... that’s what i was getting at. i don’t know.” You sigh, shutting off the doorway to your workroom for now and going over to unplug the smartwatch. It was fully charged and perfectly synced with Star’s main hub, and wouldn’t start diverging until you left the area of Wi-Fi. A bright blue hologram of Star’s current fursona popped up above the watch’s screen, barely showing off the sheer sparkle-dog-ness of her current avatar: The frutiest fruit bat to ever fruit. It changed often, but there were always some giveaways it was Star. The fun sweaters were usually the key focus. As well as the blue colouration, as the hologram projector has always had the ability to produce other colours. Blue was just.... easiest? You don’t actually know. “✨- She isn’t avoiding you, you know that right?” The hologram spoke, fluttering itself up to get right in your face about it. “it’s! it’s not really me i’m worried she’s avoiding! it’s-” “✨- Dumbra! I know, I know! But don’t forget you talk to me too when you’re drunk and yo-” “ANYWAYS, star, i need yoUr help. i know i asked yoU this before, bUt yoU really don’t mind coming along to help me figUre oUt where all this thing is going to take me? i’m not bUgging?” “✨ - Hmph! But no, of course not silly! This is the only way I can, you know, stretch my legs!” The hologram flapped up further to wiggle it’s anatomically incorrect ‘bat’ legs, laughing at her own joke before receding back to the space just above the watch.  “✨ - Besides, you know I love helping you. It’s practically what I was created for!” You’re not sure why you think it would be better to try this outside than in your already magically charged basement, but you head out the front door. You’ve called out to Chess to let her know you were leaving, as well as texted Davara. As soon as the cool night air hits you you’re pulling the hesitantly dubbed Travel Tunner from your sylledex and removing your wand from your strifedex. You stand at the edge of the plateau your home is situated on, holding both instruments out in front of you. You only give yourself a moment’s more hesitation before you hit your wand against the metal fork, hard.  The sound it makes is loud, you can feel it reverberating not just in the air around you but up your arms as well. Your vision starts to swim, and you feel almost vague and fuzzy for a moment, like you were fading out of existence. Simultaneously fading back into existence elsewhere. Where exactly, though, is unclear. It takes a moment to reorient yourself from the travel, but.... looking around, you really can’t see anything. You’re in.... some kind of room? A really big room. Not completely devoid of light, either, but what light was coming through was from.... from.... You had to squint, but there was light coming from the ceiling. The ceiling itself seemed to be made of some sort of round crystal or glass, but the natural light that would normally be filtering through was clouded over by a dark storm. Thunder could be heard in the distance, and.... you strain your ears because there’s something else you can’t quite place. But before you can place it, you become acutely aware you’re no longer a troll. You’re human. Which means.... this was a world inhabited by Pokemon, based on your previous use of Human transformation spells. “meenah?”  You call out, taking a few steps forward. The dim, barely there light didn’t give you much to go on, but you think there was some kind of chair on one side of the room. A hallway on the other. Still.... there was a sound. Like... like..... It was water sloshing! Beneath the floor, actually. You snap, realizing where you were. Or at least, a version of where you were.  This was the Alolan Champion’s room. Your own time as the Kalos champion had you learn the ins and outs of the special stadiums needed for league battles. And while it wasn’t the most common, there were trainers who used exclusively Water-residing pokemon, like Goldeen and Finneon who, while they could battle on land, were at a severe disadvantage when fighting. Thus the floors were set up in such a way that half the arena could open up to a pool, or even the whole arena dependent on the teams battling. Still, this was only half the puzzle of where you were, and unfortunately you’ve got a sinking feeling you know why you were brought here instead of to Meenah. “okay star, coUld yoU check where we are in the mUltiverse right now?” “✨- Sure thing just give me a moment....” You can’t help but get a feeling of being watched, and you wonder if there’s cameras set up. The shadow overtaking the room was probably in your better interest then, because you’re not sure how you’d explain sudden teleportation in.... actually, no, you could technically use your Gallade as an excuse but- “✨- OMG CALLIE! You’re never gonna believe this. We’re in our pokemon timeline! Like, the very exact one! You’re coming up as the Kalos champion an everything!” Ah... yeah, you were correct. You sigh, looking down at the fork. This.... was probably your fault. “what about anything on meenah makara? can yoU check?” “✨- Mmmmm nope, nothing on Meenah is showing up. There’s a Mina who’s apparently the Fairy not-gym leader for Alola but that’s the only result I’m finding.”

You sigh heavier, yeah, you did this. Reaching up you run a hand through your hair, groaning. Still, on the bright side at least it didn’t teleport you off to like. The 1920s again or some such. Still, you know what happened. “when i attUned the tUning forks i mUst have imprinted my more recent associations with meenah into the ritUal. when i played sUn and moon, i was whistfUlly playing as if i were her, so of coUrse it takes Us to the most familiar variation of the alolan champion’s room. caUse that’s where i’d have last really.... felt connected to her. stUpid.... stUpid, hUh?” More sighing. Well, at least you know what went wrong, and how to get out of here too. You were either going to have to practice tuning without letting associations get in your way, or try and find something of Meenah’s to use with the ritual instead. Both were viable, but first.... you really needed to get out of here. And home.  “✨- Nooo! Not stupid. You’re being really hard on yourself Callie! This was your first time out!” You put your wand and fork away, relying on tried and true methods of teleportation to get out of here. i’m too lazy to pick voice headcanons for everyone but when I think of the characters here’s how they happen to sound: wenda sounds like ayano from yansim, pinki sounds like jecka from class of 09, simon (unfortunately) sounds like nagito from sdr2, tunner sounds like mr mackey from south park, owakcx communicates in sound effects, vineria sounds like candle from iii when depicted as a woman and like the bomboclaat dog guy when depicted as a man, sky sounds like blueberry from iii, gray beeps in morse code to communicate, jevin sounds like gabriel from ultrakill, cluckr sounds like nickel from ii, black sounds either like the god from orin ayo or the todays mission guy from freakbait (depends on the scenario), brud sounds like the canadians from family guy (specifically the ones in the canadian alcatraz scene and the one in the scene where brian and stewie’s car gets stuck on their way to the north pole), and durple sounds like skipper from madagascar. sorry if your fave isn’t on the list, maybe they should be more thought worthy.
