The countdown until the first script reading is all I’m seeing in my mind. In four hours and fifteen minutes I’ll be sitting in audience seats of the little black box theater while everyone reads the script for the first time and I get to imagine what it’ll all look like in March when the show is on the big stage

#so excited. a couple ppl from grumpy old men I haven’t worked with in a year. a couple ppl I worked with on Jesus Christ superstar. a couple #ppl who did both. a couple new ppl. a couple trans autistic ppl I know are gonna be working stage crew (I’m one of them 🫡)#I am so excited for this show but oh it’s gonna be so stupid and dumb but also yippeee!!!!#it’s just a dumb show with a stupid plot but it’s meant to be funny and all the songs being queen is gonna carry it #but it’s gonna be weird to work for a strict. . . rude. director on a show that is so so stupid wn I’m used to dramatic shows with fun ppl #whatever it’ll be fine I’m stressed excited #I showered yesterday I gotta figure out what I’m gonna wear tonight. check the weather. eat food before the reading. maybe I’ll make cookies #or something to bring with me for the reading.#I’ll bribe them with food into liking me #I could do that.#I’ll think about it #maybe a quick trip to dollar general for cookie dough #🎭
