ive been thinking about taco and balloon forming a little alliance post s1/ pre s2 where they'd (begrudgingly) work together planning on how to break into hotel OJ to steal stuff to take back to their makeshift camp like food, blankets, pillows, etc,,, anything that could be useful to them

#UGH TUMBLR DIDN'T SAVE MY DRAFT R U KIDDING ME WROTE A TON #ok let me go over this again as i remember #balloon ends up encountering tacos makeshift camp wandering in the woods #i like to think balloon makes close to zero noise when he walks around #kinda floats around if u will #taco figures she could use this to get balloon to sneak into hotel oj to get her stuff #well. she tells balloon its “for the benefit of both”#balloon and taco parallel eachother in so much #both of them put up a “mask” as a strategy to further into the game which lead to both of them losing all of their relationships after s1 #although both of them eventually ended up feeling guilty for what they did it took taco much longer #i think their alliance worked decently well for a while but balloons guilt and need to apologize is what drove them apart #by the time of that one scene s2 ep7 where balloon goes up to apologize and has his conversation with oj they'd already drifted apart #i think I'll doodle some more stuff with them eventually im still waiting to my charger to come in the maaaailllll #all of this has probably already been pointed out but im having fun and they've been on my mind a lot lately #so #shrugs #im screaming into the void #ii taco #ii balloon #inanimate insanity #phonification

Day 2: Timeloop / Xiao Qi and Jiu Ge

I am cringe and I am not even free

Feel free to reuse this idea but 24 hours are not enough for me to finish an entire comic. I could have taken the simpler prompt but nOOOOOO timeloop is too tempting. Past me why are we like this

#svsss #shen jiu #yue qingyuan #qijiu #qijiuweek2024 #the basic idea for this was that both yqy and sj remember each loop #the loop started after their individual deaths in PIDW and resets them to close to disciple era #aka the time Yue Qi was in the caves and SJ presumably got away from the Qiu household or was already with Wu Yanzi #I imagine the first few loops they qi deviated so hard from the shock that they didnt even make it like 1 hour in the loop before beingrese #and then had a few loops just fucking around and finding out #eventually they realise that the other has the memories of all loops and so begins the talks and figuring how tf they can get out of this #maybe they resolve their issues with the promise or not your choice tbh #they try different plans and methods #but they keep dying (read: SJ keeps dying first and YQY either dies or sewerslides not soon after) and getting reset with no end in sight #until the last pages where the svsss timeline begins #SJ got replaced with SY and the system isn't letting YQY join him in death or smth nor letting him do anything about SY being there instead #And due to their closeness from being immensily tired from all the loops #YQY notices it immediately but can't do anything about it #the bonus for SY is that this timeline was very kind to LBH & co - 79 figured by now that keeping him in the sect and happy was their best #bet at staying alive - or well at least for longer #I'll continue this storyline in one of the future prompts of this qijiu week #btw the one with the cliff is just the whoopsie daisy timeline where SJ accidentally falls into the Abyss trying to keep LBH from falling i #79 had a bit of a good laugh about that one #cw death #cw violence #cw blood #cw angst

Remaining kitties for the garden

Here are all the kitties who didn't make it to the website and their pet screens c:

^The regular kitties (The nothing option would make Error show up and just kinda glare at everybody lol and there would be mirror and paper bag options to see Dust and Horror again)

^The winter kitties (The snow option would bring out Blue and Dream, the christmas lights brought Fresh and the stocking was Ink)

^The special pairs (I don't think any of these made it to the polls lol but putting out a bed would bring Horror and Dust together, putting out a rainbow cushion would bring Color and Killer (this was how you would finally be able to pet him) and putting down comic books would bring Epic and Cross, who would finally purr when pet with his bestie)

#UTDR #UTMV #Neko Sansume #My Art #I had some semblance of plot ideas too but this post is already kinda long so I'll dump them all in tags #Error's plotline was going to be about gaining his trust. every time he showed up he would be all grumpy and maybe ruining other cats' toys #And eventually you would get the option to give him a ball of yarn that he'd finally play with #And if you gave him another he would make you a special glove c:#(This would end up letting you pet him and also Reaper without dying lol)#Dust's plot was going to be about getting him his signature hood so he could feel hidden #He would still look grumpy but he would be slightly happier lol #Horror's involved being able to feed him because every other time you saw him he'd be eating trash #Like the way he's eating a receipt in the pet screen^ you would be trying to give him proper treats #There was a plotline to get the apple twins to be friends again because of course there was #It is *me* running it what do you expect lol #Killer's plot was about being able to pet him since he was so powerfully bitey #Color was helping him work on it. when he could get Killer away from Nightmare of course #Cross's plot was about him learning to accept affection and purr after he came from a bad home #Epic was intent on helping him relax #I think that's it? There's probably more I'm forgetting but that's most of them at least c:#Like I said in the other post if anybody wants to take any pieces from this and do their own thing feel free!#Maybe I'll draw them as kitties again someday #Also thank you Pidge for reminding me so this didn't sit in my drafts for another 3 weeks lol

I'd never heard this song ("Rolling down the Ryburn") before somebody played it at one of the local Sunday night sessions a couple of months ago, but now it's become one of our regulars. Last night I had a surprise Wednesday night session at a new-to-me pub with some of the Sunday crew; it was a nice night. I'd been working on The Animals We Became all afternoon, and I often like to get out and play some music when I've been neck-deep in the Fourth Branch for hours -- helps keep me grounded and functional.

This half-foot. Dandan.

Looks preety similar to this lady here (I'll put them together so you see):

Half-lidded eyes, black hair&eyes, small eyebrows, curly hair... Dandan's skin is lighter probably because of low sun exposure (dungeon), and he has tons of freckles because he preety.

This two are clearly relatives if not siblings.

Flertom is a mirror image of the lady up there. She got Chil's eyes. She even has almost the same haircut (a bit longer). She's clearly the mother. We've solved Chilchuck's wife mystery.

But this wasn't what I was going to say.

This implies that Wife and Dandan both knew Chilchuck since their childhood. Because there's no way that Chil was just friend of the sister. They're both close to the same age, and I'll say Dandan is a Younger sibiling (she gives big sis vibes, and he gives young bro vibes). So either she introduced him to her brother or he introduced him to his sister and they became best friends as kids.

Could you imagine how their relationship was after Chil's Wife left him?

He knows he has to say something, but he doesn't want to end his relationships. At the end he takes his sister's side. He distances a bit from Chilchuck, calling him an "aquitance" rather than a friend. It isn't that he hates him, is just that it's complicated. And they both know it. They're in good terms tho, they just aren't best friends anymore and they don't talk about it. Their worry is the guild, not their personal stuff.

That's why Dandan introduces Chilchuck to Laios. If they were in bad terms, he would've suggested any other half-foot. They both priorize the guild and general safety of their own race. That's why Dandan suggests Chil instead of a less experienced hafling. He cares about the union and respects Chil's time and experience in dungeons. They're on good terms, at least good enough. Summing up, I get the feeling Dandan doesn't particularly likes Chil after what happened with his sister, but he respects him at least.

MASSIVE SPOILER for one of the endings.

it's been a while since i tried looking, but i did hear that something like this happens last year and over time started to think, "was it a fluke?" bc no one posted footage or caps of it then, and i aimed for a completionist run in my first playthrough. turns out it's real! and definitely shines a new light on a character that, for most other types of playthroughs, will not give this much emotion!
