so. i knew there was a tiktok out there about What You Deserve - i don't normally get 30+ kudoes a day on a single fic, and someone commented it was all over their FYP - but when I tried searching for it, nothing was turning up

i had been previously informed about people having done tiktoks of my fics - .stankyt0es did four, putting some music over the AO3 screenshot, which i absolutely _loved_. i got tipped off about Sweetest Lie by someone I don't know if I should name, Top Ten Reasons was immediately before that, and later, Dozen Ways and the Right Thing followed

i was expecting something similar. i was really curious, so i dusted off my unused tiktok account, downloaded the app, and sat right down

i spent about 5 hours on the app, total. mostly just exploring the filters and scrolling through the feed. in the end, it took searching for "all might bashing", which was pretty amusing

but guys. _guys_.

i was so, so excited to see that, and i loved hearing what they thought about the fics. it also served as a reminder that i didn't mark the series as complete, despite personally considering it done

(that would be bc i got intimidated by the 90+ subscriptions and didn't want to disappoint anyone lmao)

i was glad to hear the series ended up mostly coherent, despite being made up of unrelated prompts fills. i have learned the last part wasn't necessarily clear enough though, as i wasn't intending on any timeskips - probably thought about it so much i forgot it had to be written xD

i'm sharing this here bc i'm so, so excited about it, and twitter has a character limit xD i've followed Mori, am going to comment on the tiktoks to thank them once it's not 1am and, well
