Value-Based Care: What it is and How it Can Work for Post-Acute Providers
I get asked about value-based care a lot. It is a buzzword or term these days, somewhat driven by the rise in Medicare Advantage enrollment. Frankly, it is a bit of a catch-all concept that has its origins in Medicare and various demonstration projects (e.g., bundled payments) and the implementation of quality measures to “improve care” (theoretically). The goal of value-based care is simply to…

people on here are so... uninformed about scottish politics. believe it or not some scottish people dont want independence... there was a whole referendum and 55% of ppl voted to remain in the union. also not everyone in scotland hates being called british, and i know people who refer to themselves as british because of the indyref movement. you dont have to understand you just have to like trust me when i say its maybe a bit more varied in scotland than tumblr would have you believe. lol.

Happy to see the tories go but at the end of the day, unlike England, Scotland hasn’t voted for the tories in almost 70 years. Weird, it’s almost as if Scotland’s vote and voice means fuck all to Westminster
Democracy, am I right?

funniest part about an upcoming election is all of the jobs the council has been putting off suddenly getting done, like we've not had passing place signs on our road for like twenty years and they're falling over themselves to put them up and trim the verges for the first time in five years and clearing the bus stop for the first time since it was put in and it's like maybe if you got your thumb out a bit more often i'd be more inclined to vote for you

the amount of mp’s that have tweeted abt palestine and needing a ceasefire suddenly forget all of that when asked to go vote. all the labour mp’s abstaining are cowards and none of them are safe from being removed by their constituents.

MedPAC and Medicare Advantage
In yesterday’s post, Mish-Mash Monday, in the section about the House Budget Committee’s Health Care Task Force, I offered some commentary regarding MedPAC (Medicare Payment Advisory Commission) and Medicare Advantage plans. I also included a letter from the senior living trade association LeadingAge to the Congressional task force that references MedPAC’s concerns regarding Medicare Advantage…
