Found Family AU character facts (part 6)

okay yeah, these are more like backgrounds than anything else so idk why I keep calling them "character facts" - but I've already come this far and am therefore too lazy to change them [used to be a time when my OCD kicked in real bad and wouldn't leave me alone until I changed everything to better fit. thank the minecraft gods I don't have that problem anymore - still got OCD but I'm able to ignore it more]

oh, these are also kinda my headcanons for the characters - like Sausage is a dwarf, Pearl a Harvest Guardian, etc. I'm still thinking of writing one-shots about the characters before the actual AU's beginning (ya know, focusing on the background characters more) and I think I might just go ahead and do that, but only after I finish these posts - got two more to do, this one and one with Joel & Pixl.

also, these ones are kinda long but you're just gonna have to live with it because I'm really tired of trying to condense them down, plus, I don't think I can with these two? there's a lot going on

this one features our beloved seablings Lizzie and Jimmy! [I got a one-shot idea for Jimmy's mostly fleshed out in my head] anyway, here we go!

Lizzie

Lizzie is the firstborn of the Ocean Empire, heir to the throne, and elder sister to Jimmy. their mother is Queen, commander of the seas, and their father is King, but also Mr. Trophy Husband (he does not mind this in the slightest). Even from her birth, she has known that one day, she'll be Queen, and has trained extensively to be the best fighter, the best ruler, the best Queen.

she was about 5 when Jimmy was born and she loved him from the start. he was always too small compared to her so she took it upon herself to watch over him and protect him. when she was older, she taught him to fight since their parents were too worried about him getting hurt.

she would go with her father to represent the Ocean Empire, sometimes Jimmy would join but usually he stayed at home. she met other children but never really got to know them because they were scared of her - except one kid named Joel, Prince of Mezalea. he would follow her around and talk her ear off about building, she liked that he was so fearless.

for the next several years, the empires of Mezalea and the Ocean would make visits to each other. Lizzie and Joel got to know each other more and Joel got to meet her brother - Lizzie was nervous that they wouldn't get on but she didn't need to worry, Jimmy accepted Joel easily and Joel called him 'brother'.

Lizzie didn't know until later why there were so many visits - her and Joel's parents wanted to unite their empires through marriage. she found out and went to Joel and talked to him about it, they were 16 at the time so it was too early for them to wed but they promised when they were of age. they talked to their parents about a future marriage and their parents were glad - Jimmy loved the idea as well.

two years later, their father was traveling to another kingdom, to the Crystal Cliffs, when he was slain by unknown people. his remains were returned home and a funeral was held to return him to the Ocean. their mother carried on for some months after but the grief was causing trouble for the empire - there were constant storms that made travel near-impossible.

Lizzie went to her mother and they had a long talk, by the end of it, the Queen gave up her crown and her thrown in order to return to the sea, to her departed husband. a ceremony was held for the Queen as she joined the ocean, and a few days later Lizzie was crowned Queen. Jimmy and Joel were at her side through it all, and Joel's visits became longer and longer until he was practically living with her - not that she minded, she loved the company.

Lizzie and Joel married nearly two years later when they became of age. they had two ceremonies - one Mezalean and the other Oceanic, the wedding itself was held in Mezalea due to different customs, and a smaller ceremony was held in the Ocean Empire. Jimmy was Joel's best man.

life was fairly peaceful for a time, Joel became a trophy husband (like her father, Joel didn't mind). if there was a Gathering, Lizzie would either go with Joel or Jimmy, a few times even both, though she did worry about her brother - he wasn't nearly as strong as her and he liked to get into trouble, when he wasn't hiding behind her that is.

a sickness hit Joel's kingdom that wiped out a decent amount of Mezaleans, including his parents. Joel had to return home to run the kingdom while they were bedridden, Lizzie provided as much aid as possible without endangering her empire too - he insisted she stay in the Ocean. his parents, like many citizens, had their lives taken and he became King.

visits had to become commonplace again and the couple were apart more often than they were together, but Lizzie and Joel made it work. Jimmy often traveled for them, sending messages and gifts for them - he didn't mind.

a few years later, when Jimmy had become of age, he came to her asking her permission to let him travel - really travel, not just between the two empires. she worried for his safety and wanted to keep him near but knew it would only hurt him in the end - so, she gave him as many blessings as she could, as did Joel, and they parted ways. Jimmy promised to write often.

a year later, after a few months of no word, Lizzie got a letter from Jimmy about a small settlement in the swamps that boarded the ocean. she went out immediately with Joel and they visited Jimmy, she lectured him about worrying her then doted on him for a time. she came to find that there had been a storm and Jimmy had washed up in the settlement (literally), the people helped him heal up, and they accepted him into their community when he wished to join.

Lizzie spoke with the elders about the settlement and her brother's role. an agreement was made where Jimmy was declared the ruler of the Cod Empire and they would be allies with the Ocean Empire. she doted on her brother more but eventually returned home.

at the next Gathering, she greeted Jimmy as a ruler, and found that he decided cod heads were in fashion. she kept on eye on her brother - who still liked to get into trouble - and more than once came to his rescue when things got out of hand - some of the other rulers liked to pick on him. things only went too far once and she showed fWhip and Sausage the true might of the Ocean Empire - they never went too far again.

Jimmy

Jimmy is the secondborn to the Ocean Queen & King, prince of the Ocean Empire (though, there's no chance for him to rule), and younger brother to Lizzie by about 5 years. he was a fairly weak child, smaller than what was normal, but he didn't let that stop him from getting into trouble.

he was doted on by many of the adults around him and picked on by many of the noble children - but he thought it was all in good fun. Lizzie watched over him like a hawk, doted on him as well but she also taught him how to protect himself. he learned how to fight and defend from her, even though their parents didn't like it.

Jimmy often stayed home when their father had to travel to the other kingdoms - usually for the Gathering - and Lizzie almost always went with him. he spent most of that time either by himself or with their mother who taught him different things about ruling - in case he either married into another kingdom or founded his own.

after each Gathering, Lizzie and their father returned home, and Lizzie told him all about the event. she brought him gifts and food, and stories about the other kingdoms. she also told him about another prince - Prince Joel of Mezalea - and how she wished they could see each other again and that it'd be nice for Jimmy to meet her new friend.

after a few of these talks, Jimmy decided to help his sister out. he went to their parents and asked them about an alliance between the Ocean Empire and Mezalea - let it be known that he can be fairly intelligent when he wants to be, even though at this point he's only about 7. their parents talked with the rulers of Mezalea and soon, there were visits. Jimmy tried to stay out of the way the first few visits to give Lizzie and Joel space, but his sister always managed to drag him into the middle - Joel accepted him pretty quickly and welcomed his company.

some years passed and there was talk of a future marriage between Lizzie and Joel - Jimmy was more than happy about their decision and already felt like Joel was family. then their father died and a funeral was held for the King of the Ocean Empire. Jimmy took it upon himself to try to keep his mother and sister in good spirits - Lizzie was relatively okay, sad, but okay; their mother was different though, she grieved almost continuously and was torn between keeping Jimmy at her side and not wanting to see him at all - he reminded her so much of her husband but Jimmy never held it against her.

then one day, Lizzie had a talk with their mother about her grief and how it was damaging the Empire - travel had been all but halted and the people were suffering. he wasn't there for the talk, only after when they had to say their goodbyes to their mother - she decided to step down and return to the sea to be with her husband. Lizzie became the next Queen and he stood at her side like always.

Joel visited more often, so often that Jimmy just suggested he move in - even though only a few months had passed. he and Joel often got into some trouble but it was all harmless fun. some time passed and his two best friends - Lizzie and Joel - became of age and Jimmy officially gained a brother.

he didn't really like to go to the Gatherings - there were always too many people and sometimes the other nobles would tease him. if he did go, he liked to wear a mask. otherwise, he usually stayed at home or explored the ocean around the palace.

a sickness hit Joel's kingdom and he lost not only a good number of subjects but also his parents. Joel had to leave the Ocean Empire and take the throne, something that saddened both seablings but more so Lizzie, though she didn't like to show it. Jimmy acted as messenger between his best friends once all was well within Mezalea - Lizzie didn't want him in the thick of it in case he got sick too.

when Jimmy became of age, he decided that he wanted to explore the oceans. he'd always dreamed of exploring but he never thought he was strong enough, that and he had to be here for his sister. but he was an adult and seeing as the throne only goes to the females in the family, there wasn't really an official place for him in the palace. so with Lizzie's permission and many blessings, he set out to see the world around him.

he traveled for quite some time, sending letters when he could, except for one time almost a year after leaving home. he got caught up in a mighty storm that battered him towards the shoreline and washed him aground. he found himself days, maybe more than week, later on the shore of a swamp settlement surrounded by fish-hybrids that looked a bit like cod. he was injured and dehydrated and they took him in and cared for him.

he sent a letter to his sister when he was well enough, which was a couple weeks after waking up in the swamp, and was soon visited. Lizzie lectured him and doted on him and wanted to take him home but he turned her down - he had a debt to repay. a small meeting was held with the elders and Jimmy came out of it as the unofficial-official ruler of the swamp. the people accepted him well enough, he was just another member of their community and he thanked them for that.

he quickly adjusted to his new life, though being closer to their average humanish height took some getting used to - the Ocean royalty are usually about three times as big as the average human, and normal Oceanic people are about twice the size as a human. he started dressing in long sleeves and pants, and he donned a cod-head - all to better blend in with his new people.

at the next Gathering, he was introduced as the Codfather, King of the Cod Empire. a couple of the other rulers - fWhip and Sausage - started to tease him, all in good fun at first then things slowly escalated until one time where he got injured and bedridden from one of their traps. Lizzie wasn't happy about that and put them in their place.

he also found, during the Gatherings, that the ruler of the elf empire, Elfking Scott of Rivendell, hated him, but he also teased him? Jimmy tried to give the elf gifts, to appease him, but nothing seemed to work, he just couldn't get the elf to like him.

On the Tenth Day of Crackmas

So, this one isn’t as crackish as some of the other ones, but honestly I’m in love, so this one may become a series. Idk, it’s about my babes, and I really like it, so here’s 2000 words of my OTP.

The city of Paris was famous for many things lights, love, cuisine, but despite all of its charm, it still boasted a high crime rate. Though, very few criminals were quite as public and held a fraction of the notoriety as Queen Bee and Volpina, two of Paris’ most wanted criminals who were also huge rivals, constantly trying to one-up each other which kept the police force on their toes. No one knew how they managed to rob such high security establishments like the Louvre or the city’s most wealthy and highly protected citizens, and yet reports cropped up several times a month of expensive wares gone missing. And there was never any doubt when it came to identifying the culprit as they each had their trademark that got left behind.

For Queen Bee it was a single red rose left in the place of what she’d taken, and Volpina always left a card with her signature and a pawprint. Such displays of power served to mock the wealthy, and the police were at their wits end. Neither criminal ever left any DNA or evidence at the scene of the crime aside from their farewell tokens, and the wealthiest members of society were locking up their most prized possessions in bank vaults for safe keeping. Paranoia ran rampant in anticipation for each heist as no one knew who the next victim would be.

Seeing the city in a panic served to amuse the infamous criminals as they lured them right where they wanted. They were about to pull their biggest heist yet, and everyone would bear witness to their own failure. That is to say, Queen Bee and Volpina were feeling a bit cocky. They’d never robbed the same location at the same time, but it seemed as though they both had the same idea. In actuality, there was no coordination among thieves, so the chances of ending up in the same place at the same time were quite probable, but they always counted on their own luck. Maybe a little too much at times.

Security outside the bank was tight, but Queen Bee loved a challenge. She wasn’t one of the most wanted criminals for nothing, so slipping inside undetected came as naturally as breathing. The shadows had become an extension of herself, masking her presence from any watchful eyes. She was comfortable there, quiet, hidden, and it allowed her to move about freely unlike her everyday life where she spent so much time out in the open. It was a detail she held very near and dear being one of the most looked at faces in all of Paris by day then being the illusive and mysterious heist queen by night. Darkness was her sanctuary, a place to be alone and invisible, so needless to say, she was appropriately perplexed and irritated when she collided with someone else during her peak of stealth.

She and Volpina had only encountered each other in person a handful of times, usually on their way out of their respective jobs where they would brag about their haul, and Queen Bee never hated her guts more than in that moment when their eyes met in the darkness.

“What the hell are you doing here?” They asked in hushed unison. “I’m robbing the bank. No, I’m robbing the bank! Ugh!”

“How exactly were you planning to get into that safe, huh? All the news reports say it’s uncrackable,” Volpina asked, cocking a hip to the side.

“My daddy owns the company that manufactured it,” Queen Bee stated curtly. “How were you planning to get in?”

“My daddy’s company manufactures explosives,” She bragged, rocking back on her heels, and Queen Bee scoffed.

“You have no class. Leave this to a sophisticated thief. Why don’t you go rob the people’s bank?” She waved her away in a typical gesture of “shoo.”

“I’m every bit as good as you! There’s a warrant out for both of us in case you’d forgotten,” Volpina said with a growl as they continued up the hall.

“Yeah, yeah, but there’s no need for both of us to rob the bank, so you can run along,” She said dismissively.

“Why don’t you run along?” Volpina shot back.

“Because I was here first,” Bee said matter-of-factly, ripping a keypad off the wall and rewiring the inside to disable the security system in the next room.

“What makes you think that? I think we got here about the same time,” Volpina folded her arms over her chest defiantly, and Bee rolled her eyes.

“We have sixty seconds to make it through the next room, so we settle this now. Rock, paper, scissors?” Bee cocked a brow and held up her fist.

Rock, paper, scissors – shoot!” Queen Bee’s rock trumped Volpina’s scissors, and she turned abruptly and blew a kiss.

“Toodles!”

“Hey! What are you two doing?” The glare of a flashlight blinded Queen Bee momentarily, and she held up a hand to shield her face.

“Shit!” She swore under her breath, turning tail and running in the opposite direction after Volpina.

“Don’t follow me!” She hissed as Queen Bee stayed hot on her heels.

“If I get caught, you’re going down with me,” Bee shot back as Volpina glanced around for somewhere to hide. She pulled open a janitorial closet and threw Queen Bee inside, managing to shut the door silently before a patrol of guards raced through. Instinctively, they both remained quiet, pressed together in the small closet as they listened through the door.

Queen Bee squirmed her arm up to see her watch where she pulled up a map of the building. She could see Volpina’s mask furrow over her green eyes through the dim glow it gave off. They were pressed close enough together that each breath made their torsos brush ever so slightly with the rise and fall of their chests. Queen Bee tried not to think about how well her body fit into every curve of Volpina’s because they were rivals, and now wasn’t the time to be aroused.

“It looks like there’s an air vent up the hall that will lead you outside,” Queen Bee whispered, zooming in on it.

“Um, excuse you, I’m still going to rob this bank,” Volpina scoffed, folding her arms awkwardly over her chest as much as their close quarters allowed.

“Well, so am I, and I’m not sharing the loot with you,” Queen Bee said, giving her an icy glare, though Volpina wasn’t fazed in the slightest.

“We’ll have to see who gets to it first,” She challenged, opening the door and racing up the hall for the vent, and Queen Bee raced after her with a low growl.

Volpina activated the suction feature on her suit and jumped up to the ceiling, sticking to it securely before she got to work on undoing the vent cover. Queen Bee kept lookout on the ground until she got it off then used her grappling belt to lift herself in after her. They replaced the vent cover perfectly just as the guards made another round, though the problem they found themselves faced with now involved Queen Bee on top of Volpina in a tiny vent.

“Seriously, you couldn’t have gone on the other side?” Volpina hissed once the coast was clear, swatting Bee’s feet out of her face.

“No, the safe is this way!” Bee shot back, crawling forward. “And I’m gonna get to it first.”

“Over my dead body,” Volpina grumbled, shifting around and crawling after her. She caught up as Bee tried to round a corner and climbed on top of her to pin her down.

“Hey, get off!”

“Shh!” Volpina shushed, attempting to take the lead, but her belt caught on something, and she very quickly discovered that she was stuck. “Shit.”

“What?” Bee lifted her head a little in an attempt to see over her shoulder.

“I’m caught on your belt,” She said, a hint agitated.

“Well, whose fault is that for being greedy?” Bee chided, resting her chin in her palm.

“Says the person whose been trying to shake me off so they can take all the loot for themselves,” Volpina said pointedly in her ear. “I’m gonna try and shake myself loose. Don’t move.”

“Where am I gonna go?” Bee hummed sarcastically as Volpina began wiggling her hips to try and unhitch their belts. Queen Bee felt her face heat up a little as their hips grinded together as Volpina thrusted back and forth. “Okay, stop! That’s not working, clearly!”

“Ugh, this isn’t gonna work, we’re just gonna have to try and move together,” Volpina sighed, sinking her hips back down to press against Bee’s ass. Why was it so hot in that vent? “Okay, we’re both gonna move forward on three.”

“On three or after three?”

“After. Always after.” Volpina said.

“Well, then why do people say on three?”

“It’s just an expression! Okay, whatever! One,” She started.

“Two.”

“Three!” They lurched forward, moving in time together until they came to the next vent, and Bee peaked down.

“How far to the safe?” Volpina asked, panting slightly, and Bee pulled her arms out to look at her watch again.

“We’ll take the next left then it’s five vents to the safe room,” She said.

“Well, let’s get moving then. We’re burning moonlight,” She ordered, propping herself up once more.

“Oh, I’m sorry, maybe next time you can be on bottom,” Bee grumbled.

“No can do. I’m always on top.” Bee’s cheeks flushed once more, and she told herself it was just the heat of having another body on top of hers, though she did rather like the way Volpina felt against her.

After a painful and exhausting hour, they managed to remove the vent over the safe room, and Bee disabled the alarm system from her watch before they dropped in less than gracefully. At least they were unhooked now. Volpina stood up and dusted herself off, stretching her back and neck a little before moving for the safe, though Queen Bee was right behind her.

“I seem to recall winning rock, paper, scissors,” She said pointedly, and Volpina rolled her eyes.

“Don’t make me strap a mini explosive to you,” She threatened, but Bee didn’t budge.

“I know how to get into this safe without blowing it up,” Bee stated, folding her arms over her chest with a smirk. “If you promise to give me most of the haul, I’ll open it for you.”

Volpina’s eyes narrowed, and her jaw clenched for a moment as she debated it.

“Fine. You can take the bigger haul. Open it,” She jutted her chin to the large combination lock, and Bee slipped on her gloves to avoid leaving finger prints. After a few twists and turns, she pulled out a small ballistic gel glob and held it over the thumb scanner, and the safe clicked open.

“How did you-”

“I was there when they programmed the code for the lock, and I swiped one of the mayor’s thumbprints at a diplomats’ dinner party,” She said, pulling the door open. “Let’s grab some shit and get out.”

She didn’t have to tell Volpina twice, and within five minutes, they’d gathered a hefty supply of precious jewelry, gold, and cold hard cash. Leaving their signature tokens and closing the vault, Queen Bee scanned for exits, determining that the vents were their best bet, though she’d make sure they didn’t get stuck this time. She pressed the release on her belt buckle and secured it to the top of the vent before turning back to Volpina.

“Need a lift?” She cocked a brow, and Volpina begrudgingly wrapped her arms around Bee’s shoulders as they rose back up to the vents.

Crawling back through individually was a piece of cake after the mess they had to endure the first time, so within a matter of minutes, they were back on the roof and ready to part ways. Volpina slung her sack of bounty over her shoulder and held out a hand with a small grin.

“Thanks for your help, Bee,” She said sincerely, and after a moment of hesitation, Bee shook it in good faith.

Volpina tugged her forward into a passionate kiss, and Queen Bee felt her whole body stiffen in shock. She thought she’d been the only one to imagine their chemistry in those tight spaces earlier, but Volpina’s lips were just as soft as she’d imagined. Her mind whirled wildly with risqué thoughts and a longing to take her right then and there on that roof, and she was getting dizzy with the sudden influx of desire. Or wait… Maybe she was just actually dizzy.

When Volpina broke the kiss, she stepped back with a smirk as numbness spread down Bee’s legs, and she collapsed to the ground. Everything was spinning, and Volpina casually slung both sacks over her shoulder with a chuckle.

“The lipstick’s a tranquilizer. Don’t worry, it’s meant for little mice, so you’ll be able to move again in a few minutes, but I’ll be long gone by then,” She said, and Queen Bee attempted to glare menacingly, but her face refused to cooperate. “Thanks again for your help. I never would have been able to carry this much through those vents myself. What was it you said earlier? Oh, yeah. Toodles!”

And with that she race for the edge of the roof and jumped, leaving Queen Bee lying on a roof with absolutely nothing to show for her efforts that evening. Volpina better watch her back because next time she saw her, she was going to rip every last strand of that luscious brown hair from her scalp. Finally, the numbness faded enough that she could flop over, and shout after her.

“You damn fox!”

hi hi my friends ! i have finally compiled all of my backstory files & have decided to put them together for u in one giant post since some of u were interested ! i linked the texts where certain info is referenced for some things that u might have missed !!!! n also u don’t have 2 read this @ all like y/n is still YOU these are just like the mini fics i wrote 2 help me write the texts so they’re all unique 2 each individual boy n everyone has their own stories n personalities !

how they met:

they met @ a clothing store !!! the stylists had finally caught on that yoongi had been taking home his ~work clothes because honestly he had been a lil too lazy to shop or dress himself lately and after he gave them back he was left w very little clean things and didn’t want to go through their communal laundry pile n figure out what was his so he decided to just shop instead. so he went out w the standard celebrity hat + mask disguise combo and tbh noticed y/n working in the shop right away bc she was in the darks section hidden between two racks of sweaters n secretly using her phone. and it was kinda cute n funny to him 1. bc she was slacking off during work and 2. bc she was dressed in white n pastel pink so she did more standing out than blending in. n so yoongi pretended to look thru a rack of black sweaters for a few mins before he cleared his throat n said “is playing hide and seek part of the job?” and y/n obvi jumped bc she didn’t even realize someone had been in that section and dropped her phone on the ground. so she was pouty and ready to kinda say something bratty back but as soon as she took one look @ yoongi n his hat + mask she bursted into laughter and said “you look like a walking police sketch” min yoongi pretty much lost to the demonic possession that is love @ that very moment

why does y/n’s sister hate namjoon:

he broke her arm lmaoooooooooooo ! accidentally ofc ! it was the first time y/n was introducing her to him n she was very very worried bc her sister is a fan of bangtan n had high expectations that he’d be the person fans thought he was. so namjoon gave 2 of the tickets that are reserved for his friends & family to y/n and her sister and they were gonna meet for the first time after the show n probably eat w his parents or something. at least that was the plan. so everything is over and they’re backstage looking for namjoon & y/n goes to the restroom bc um…….their concerts are like 3hrs long friends. and while she’s waiting y/n’s sister spots namjoon n like naturally she gets v excited bc she’s a fan and stuff n she forgets that she’d recognize him even tho he probably wouldn’t recognize her and she reaches her arm out as he passes to say like “yo my sister is in here” bc he looks like he’s trying to call her on his phone but instead it comes out as a loud n excited HEY !!!! and namjoon looks up 2 see a teenage girl reaching towards him n shouting n wearing the tour merch so he jumps to a very bad conclusion n assumes she’s like a sasaeng or something n gets scared n freaks out lmfao he like pushes his arms out to keep her away n this catches her off guard and she stumbles back n loses her footing n falls v awkwardly n suddenly starts yelling y/n’s name (it all happened v fast they both didn’t have time to react) and namjoon finally recognizes the familiar features and puts 2 n 2 together and hes like oh……………………….shit… and y/n comes out of the restroom and sees her sister on the ground looking livid and namjoon standing in front of her looking like he just signed a deal w/ sweet death and she also says oh……………………shit…and after many bribes including getting jimin to sign her cast she still hates him.

how they met:

they met at noraebang late one night omg !!!! taehyung was there w jimin and we know tae doesn’t drink but y/n truly thought he was drunk outta his mind when she walked into the wrong room n found him singing (yelling) and dancing to gee by snsd. jimin was so embarrassed (even tho he wasn’t the one trying to hit taeyeon’s high notes) and just looked @ the doorway mortified but tae didn’t care n offered y/n the microphone as he continued to follow along to the choreography as best as he could. and of course he gained a duet partner bc y/n was smitten as soon as she saw the pure (non intoxicated heheheh) excitement in his eyes :b y/n forgot abt the friends she was supposed to meet there and stayed with the 95z until their hour was up. tae made jimin pretend to be hungry so he had an excuse to hang out w y/n some more and invited her to mcdonalds w them and he kept sneaking peaks at her as they walked the two blocks bc he honestly was convinced she was an angel n now that he wasn’t being filtered by the multicolored lights of the noraebang room he felt a lil shy and ofc jimin noticed this right away and would giggle whenever taehyung’s eyes would go wide when y/n spoke to him and when he stuttered out her order to the cashier !!!! so mini had his fun bc he knew that would be the last time he’d ever hang out w them n not feel like a third wheel

backstory: taehyung’s y/n

if u asked taehyung abt y/n he would tell you that she’s an angel. an angel that has been sent down from heaven to love n protect him. she’s everything an angel would be: kind and caring and sweet and open and loving. she let’s tae be tae and that’s a v important thing !!! often he gets kinda scolded for behaving too ~weirdly or they tell him not to act so freely when they’re on broadcast but that’s never the case w y/n. he’s never heard those things from her. she accepts everything he shares & treats everything so specially n like it’s the most brilliant idea in the world. whenever he’s super excited texting her abt things she never shuts him down or refuses to play along she always joins in just as excited & encourages him to express his creativity and so he always feels super good & confident & he’s never worried that she’ll think he’s strange. and tbh it’s not like she goes out of her way to baby taehyung, that’s just who she is as a person. like when they first met & she didn’t turn around and walk out the door but rather joined in on the fun he was having w/o missing a beat !!!!! she’s just naturally rly open & accepting & fun so he doesn’t feel like she puts up w/ him out of sympathy or whatever. he knows it’s genuine & that she TRULY does think his thoughts and opinions are smart & unique & interesting & she really does fully trust him. and that’s why he think she’s his angel and he’s always reiterating his appreciation for her n complimenting her n making sure that she never doubts the pure love he has for her. she’s an only child and bc of that she’s very sociable and has a lot of friends and obvi has no problems starting conversations w strangers heheh. and she’s also a student like guk’s y/n (i see her doing something w medicine like studying to be a pediatric nurse or something n i can already imagine taehyung shouting nurse wifey !!!!!! when he gets a paper cut) and i think she puts a lot of pressure on herself to succeed in school & worries a lot more than he does in general & she doesn’t rly have to talk about it for taehyung to recognize it so he’s ALWAYS alwaaaaays talking abt her positive qualities bc he never wants her feeling insecure & he mentions how he’ll always be there to love & support her no matter what’s going on in her life bc like he said he loves her when she’s sad happy hungry sleepy thirsty sneezy but especially SAD bc that’s when she needs him most. they’re rly soft and pure omg everything they do is so cute like the couple items? scream. most of it is taehyung’s idea bc he’s excited to be in love and he wants everyone to know !!!!! even though he technically can’t let anyone know & that’s part of why he dotes on her so much too. this is a 2 way angel street. he’s her angel too and she feels it all the time !!!! there’s always a happy guy around that brings out the best in her !!!! n she loves the spontaneity that taehyung brings into her life bc they try a lot of new things !!!!! but still keep some regular things like they’re always eating mcdonald’s lmao (pls help these kids) and they don’t feel the need to go out as often the way jimin’s couple does. they stay in a lot and cuddle up and that’s just as exciting to them bc they have big imaginations and a lot 2 talk abt. they don’t stay mad @ each other bc theyre bother very forgiving n understanding n bc their fights are never fights like they both are very thoughtful ppl they’d never do things like forget an anniversary or say something hurtful that they don’t mean. bc that’s not who they are as ppl (esp in the relationship) taehyung’s jealousy is very small n usually half serious ! bc everyone likes her (like everyone likes taehyung)! from grandmas they meet when they’re out to kids in her neighborhood to her professors to his members (especially guk but it’s only in a noona - dongsaeng way & he mostly just feeds her & the other gfs info on tae/the other boys) so he gets nervous but she always thinks it’s cute and reassures him !!! there’s lots of communication n support n gassing each other up !!!! as expected from angels !!!!!

how they met:

they met @ the hospital when hoseok was a handful of months old and y/n was a handful of hours! n there’s not much to say abt that initial encounter but their moms are best friends n they grew up together u know. hoseok would cry whenever he fell n scraped his knee & y/n would tell him she loved him n did her best to distract his thoughts as she placed a band aid over the wound. when her parents didn’t get her the doll castle she wanted for her bday hoseok ran home n gathered up all his legos to build one for her. n so they lived w that kind of dynamic (being each other’s knight in shining armor) for a long time n they loved it u know and they could admit that to themselves and to others but as they grew older they would never admit that they ~more than platonic~ loved each other bc “best friends don’t do that”. so hoseok would sit on the edge of y/n’s desk w his arms crossed n his tongue digging into the side of his cheek as another one of their classmates attempted a horribly thought out confession and instead of direct rejection y/n would ramble on abt what a perfect guy shinee’s taemin was. hoseok still instinctively scoffs whenever he hears replay. it wasn’t easy 4 y/n either bc her bff hoseokie whom she had to quickly change the channel for when horror movie ads came on was suddenly this handsome godly dancer n she had to wash her hands for an uncomfortable amount of time as she eavesdropped on the other girls in the restroom gushing over how hot her best friend was and struggled to deal w the fact that she thought the same.

we know a little bit abt y/n’s backstory bc hoseok & y/n mention their childhood a lot. like we know that he’s her best friend and that their moms are best friends and we know that she hasn’t loved anyone besides hoseok (except for shinee’s taemin) she’s basically hoseok sunshine but…………w/ a twist. hoseok is a capri sun & she’s lemonade. she’s rly rly sweet but wow if u even look @ hoseok the wrong way ur dead SO DEAD. but hoseok usually talks her out of being confrontational so u’ll probably just get hit w/ the double stink eye from them. to me she’s got an office job !!!! like she’s the mischievous graduate assistant n probably maknae of the office so she’s well loved but has to do things like run to the store n buy pringles for her coworkers when they’re working overtime and the stereotypic coffee run thing~ she brings a lot of joy to the older employees the way hoseok brings a lot of joy to his members & team so they never work her too hard. i think it’s a v comfortable job for y/n & it’s nice to have kind of a ~controlled environment. the beginning of their relationship was a mix of easy & awkward bc even tho it’s what they both wanted for a long time it was still like…….suddenly ur making out w/ ur best friend what the heck is going on. but after that it was so natural !!!! they know each other’s personalities so well that they’re never confused abt what the other needs !!!! tbh everyone was waiting for this to happen. like their moms have been dreaming abt a wedding for years and yoongi + guk had a bet going on and guk lost bc yoongi did some instigating hehehehh. y/n is so friendly & charming & they’ve known her for as long as they’ve known hoseok so they all like her for him bc she’s absolutely his #1 fan. y/n i think worries the least abt his schedule and not seeing him for a bit bc she’s already experienced it as his best friend and if anything it’s easier now bc she knows he’s ~hers. and if she is missing him he’s rly good @ making himself available to her so things get sorted out pretty quickly ! she rly rly rly cares abt him and wants to protect him bc he’s the best person she knows and so like that’s why she gets so worked up even if someone says they don’t like bngtn lmao & she rly cares abt his feelings like they mentioned that she was a fan of taemin when they were in school but ever since she found out it slightly bothered hoseok (f2l texts) she never mentions it (the way guk’s y/n does. not that she doesn’t care abt guk’s feelings. they’re just 2 v diff boys) !!!!!! she’s always giving him compliments and trying to make him feel good she doesn’t want him to feel insecure. hoseok rly loves her bc he truly feels like he has a person in this world who understands him 100% and he never feels like his personality is too much or too little when he’s with her. everything feels perfect & familiar & it’s like his heart’s home is w/ her and not w him.
