HELLO do you think jouno has albinism..... I've seen it as a rare hc and I stole from somewhere. or it mightve been from my mind I can't fully remember but jouno albino... thoughts?

ooo i’ve heard of this! and yes i like this headcanon a lot:)

jouno is very pale

his hair is white. most characters have naturally coloured hair (except for a few outliers), and he’s likely too young (i assume) to have gone grey haired already.

it likely isn’t hairdye either since his eyelashes are white (in the manga. they’re black in the anime however i assume that is just the bones artstyle doing it’s thing). of course he dyes the tips of his hair red but i doubt the white part is dye.

albinism can also cause worse vision and/or legal blindness. from the research i’ve done, it doesn’t seem to be that eyesight with albinism gets worse over time. since we know jouno could see at one point, it makes me wonder if when jouno could see he was still visually impaired? and lost the rest of his sight in an unrelated health issue or accident?
