IOFAB Game Demo Is Here

This demo includes the first chapter and first multiple choice of IOFAB. Yes, there's a new route, which will lead to multiple endings. There'll be around 6 endings in this game, and I need more time to write them. There's also an interesting route that I'd like to explore, so the possibility of me adding a new ending is there.

Anyway, since this project has become this large, I'd like to postpone the actual release of the game. I knew I promised to release the full game before August, but I'm afraid I can't do that. In the meantime, I hope you'll enjoy the demo of this game ^^

IOFAB (Demo) Update

I'm too lazy to write another summary for the game, so I'll go straight to the point. For the past few months, I've been rewriting the script of the game, so the story is no longer the same as the OG one. I changed a lot of things and the concept too, which might be the closest to my very first idea of IOFAB. If you ask me what's my initial concept of IOFAB, this is exactly what it was.

As promised, I made it into a playable game on web, so you can (technically? hopefully?) play it on your android. I'm not sure if it can be played on iPhone, hopefully it can. Anyway. I plan to release the full game next year, unfortunately, I can't give you the exact month yet since I'm still busy.

In the meantime, enjoy the demo. Comments and suggestions are appreciated <3

Speaking of Amon Göth, he literally had his dog handler killed because the dogs preferred their company over his own. Imagine König getting pissy because reader spends more time with the kids than with him, even sleeping with the kids' bed and not with him. Only thing saving them kids is if they take more after reader and not him (only works if he has inner self hatred and doesn't like seeing his past self in his kids). He's definitely sending them to some far off boarding school when they're old enough. That way, he gets his wife to himself and they're still useful to keep reader in line.

You're so fucking right. He's extremely jealous of other people, and his children are no exception. I'm not kidding when I say that he's the type who'd slip a sleeping pill (don't do this irl) to his kid's drink, so he could force her into his bedroom later. 

While he might care about his children, he only sees them as a bargaining tool. It's possible that he hates them if they take after him, but it's not because of his self-hatred. Rather, it's because he doesn't like to be followed. If you ever had a sibling or a friend who 'imitates' you somehow, then you know what I'm talking about.

I think he'll have a love-hate relationship with his children. On one hand, they're very useful to him, but on the other hand, they take her away from him. He'll gladly send them to the boarding school, but he has to call them back home once in a while, if he wants to keep her under his control. But with his children out of the picture, he'll probably live his dream everyday. I'm gonna stop here bc it's a different topic, and it's gonna be a long one. 

Fun fact, Göth was also Austrian. So make that what you will xd

The characters are pretty much done, I just need to make one more, but I'll focus more on the endings first.

There will be more than 2 endings, and the OG route is already done. I'm contemplating whether I'll release a demo, or just straight up posting the finished game.

Yes, he might consider adopting another child if he fails to make her pregnant. But consider this; he chooses to hire a maid for her, and she looks a lot like Nina. It's like a cruel game for him, because she can't get attached to her. He'll kill her when that happens. But she can't ignore her too, because if she disobeys him, the maid will be the one who suffers the consequences. 

I actually planned to write a continuation for it, but I doubt the audience would like a wlw fic, moreover when it follows The Handmaiden storyline. Bc let's be honest, we want him to win.

About the incident, well, I think she'd be traumatized by it. Which is dangerous, because it creates an opening for him to get into her heart. Because when he keeps treating her well, she'll eventually succumb to Stockholm syndrome. When she comes to accept her situation and begins to see the good in him, then it's over for her.

You guessed it right. He'll keep forcing himself on her until she's pregnant. But he'll change his method. He'll make it less unpleasant for her, and will put an effort to make her cum beforehand. He won't shame her anymore, instead, he'll praise her for taking him so well. When she's positive on pregnancy, he'll become softer. He'll do things that she (subconsciously) finds loveable, like providing extra blankets for her, massaging her feet, giving her space when she needed, etc. While it seems sweet and all, it's just his way to make her more compliant. And it works.

Oh, and he'll let her walk outside once they moved to Austria. He'll let her walk around the garden, and a little further to the woods. It benefits him both ways, because it lessens the stress from being trapped inside the house for so long. But at the same time, it's impossible for her to make an escape. She has no way of knowing the exit, and she can't run that fast when she's heavily pregnant. 

It's likely that he'll hire a helper to take care of the baby. For a reason that he doesn't like having her attention taken away from him. He'll choose someone whom he can trust, and someone who can't speak her language. I might write the continuation of IOFAB, but in the helper's POV (no promise tho). I don't know, it sounds interesting to see their dynamic thru 3rd person lens.

As I promised before, I'm gonna make a game based on I'm Only Flesh And Blood. I've been working on it for the past few days, and hopefully I'll get it done before August.

I think their first meeting would take a dark turn, because he'd just straight up asking her to choose between being free at the cost of her husband's life, or protecting him but you have to give up your freedom.

If she chooses to be free, then he'll keep his promise. But that doesn't mean he won't hurt her husband. He'll let her see what he has to go through, and even worse, he's still alive at the end of the torture.

If she gives up her freedom, he'll ask her to prove it by sleeping with him. He already demanded so many lewd things in the original route, so you can imagine how worse it'd be for her whenever she's married.

I don't like infidelity, but this does awaken something in me, ngl. Maybe I'll write a fic about this AU someday, hopefully.

You can say that, honestly. I'm using the term 'wife' because I don't like using 'darling'. Are they actually married? Not really. But he calls her his 'wife' because it's more appropriate in his mind. Like, how is he gonna explain the lady by his side if she's not his wife? Or at least his partner?

So Im actually from Ao3 and I just read I'm Only Flesh And Blood and Blue Velvet and basically all stuff about Konig and I really liked it and I found out that you have a tumblr so I went here and spend the next hours reading all the asks about IOFAB. but I was really wondering about summary of IOFAB in the Ao3 version.

"König wasn't a normal man, and he knew it from the start. He couldn't have a normal relationship, even when he craved for it. So when he saw the chance—to pick a pretty flower for himself—he took it without hesitation."

what does he mean by not normal? what does he mean by he knows he's not normal? why can't he have a normal relationship? have you tried, dude?

To answer your question, I'd say that it stems from his severe social anxiety. He knows he can't interact with other people—especially the opposite sex—normally, and we can pretty much guess how it'd end up for him. He's fucked up so many interactions, but even worse, he didn't know what he did wrong. And when that happens, anyone would think that something's wrong with them.

Of course, there's an option for people like that to be better at socializing. To learn how to talk, behave, etc etc. But there's also people like him who sorta... accept it. It's like, yes, I'm not normal, and I'm not gonna change it because it's too late.

Honestly, it's just the combination of his loneliness, opportunity, and bad luck on the reader's behalf. When he saw the chance to have someone by himself, he just took it because it might be the only way for him to have a love for himself. It's not helpful either that he has the mindset of an exotic pet owner. Like, if I provide every basic need of this creature, then it's fine for me to keep it. It's fine as long as I take responsibility for it. And maybe, they can be happier with me that way.

Ok so, you don't have to do this if you're not accepting requests. But I am way too insane about IOFAB and idk why. It has been in my head since the beginning of May. I couldn't focus for weeks, that's how good it is (it didn't really help that the Kendrick v Drizzy beatdown happened).

Can we have more stuff in the IOFAB verse? Maybe something from König's POV (this guy has to be aware that he's just making her hate him even more)? Maybe life after the last escape/shooting incident can't believe the guy actually did multiple rounds with a bullet in his shoulder that's gotta hurt, pregnancy, or kids? Or maybe domestic horror fluff (if that's actually a thing)? Or something about how he managed to keep reader as his lawfully kidnapped wife (this guy definitely put trackers in her ring)? I just realized that I keep referring to reader/darling as his wife even though they ain't married yet Or maybe even an alternate timeline in which deals with what would happen if they did meet but those guys had to actually disclose that they found those survivors which would mean König would not be able to have her?

IOFAB König is so different from the other yandere Königs because he actually shows his hand right in the beginning. Like he's not just some oWo shy guy that is a yandere that goes “maybe I should keep you here with me so that you wouldn't leave me, schatz haha jk... unless 🙂”. He just straight up “You're with me now. Sooner you accept it, the better it will be for you”. He wouldn't hurt reader but he definitely wouldn't hesitate to drop kick a kitten or even his children if they would somehow aid her in her escape.

Something something he would put the world at her feet but wouldn't ever let her see her family ever again. Something something you could put the world through eternal winter and starvation but he won't ever let his goddess go, not even for 6 months. Something something he would hunt her down in their next life. Something something God never blessed him so he's taking one of His blessed angels for himself. Something something he's worshipping the ground her chained feet walk on. Ok now this is getting too long. In short, this guy warrants the “Why are you like this” microscope and “You're not a human nor a dog but a secret third thing” and you don't have to but if you want to, please please please please please can we have more IOFAB?

I mean, if you wanna theorize about their future and stuff, I'll gladly answer it. But for me, the story already ended here. I don't really plan to write a continuation of it. Maybe I'll write a lil bit of it in other people's POVs but that's it.

As for König's POV, I think we've covered a lot about his psychology. Like, of course he knew she hated him, but it wouldn't last. If he keeps on giving her what she needs (tolerance, space, care, etc), she'll eventually come to love him, or at least tolerate his presence. It's like a 'trust the process' situation.

I won't really write about pregnancy and kids, because it's more fun when I let the reader decide what's best for her. My actual HC is she'll only have 1 kid, and it's a boy. That's it.

There are 3 endings that I've thought about, it's either; (1) she manages to escape with the help of the maid (The Handmaiden storyline, wlw), (2) she's staying with him until the end (Göth's dream), (3) she's rescued by the third party, there's a possibility that he or the reader dies in this scenario (the realistic ending). But I won't make either of them canon, bc where's the fun in that?

As for the AUs, I haven't got the right idea for it. I think yours is good, but I honestly don't know where to start 😅

Personally, in my humblest opinion, I think shy yandere shouldn't exist in fiction. I fucking hate it, because it's very manipulative in the cheapest way. Like, they'd appear "harmless" like a weirdo, but would go 180° at any given chance. And what makes me hate them the most is that they'd go back to their shy shell when they're being cornered. They can't and won't take any responsibility for their actions. Oh, he kissed you without your consent? Well, that's your fault bc you seduced him (even if you didn't). Every time I read about a shy yandere man, I just wanna bash his head with a bat. Like, you're not fooling anyone with that attitude. Just take what you want and admit it, even if it means you have to be ruthless.

I must admit, IOFAB König does hold a "secret third thing" vibe, because I don't think he exists irl in terms of personality. He's like, if patience is taken too far, and if patience is the source of horror. He doesn't really worship her, but he views her as the rarest and the most exotic thing. If you ever read about the exotic animal keeper, or the curator of the rarest arts, then you'll understand why he behaves that way. They're very patient, and they're very possessive of their treasure. If the tiger that they keep bites their arm, they won't put it down. They'll find a way to tame it—they'll try to win its affection instead. If one particular art requires so much maintenance, and so much cost to keep it in good condition, the curator would pay for it. They won't abandon the art piece, because they know how much it's worth. That's how König views his wife.

I know it sounds like he's objectifying his wife, but sometimes humans love their things more than other humans. I'm just using that feeling as the base for IOFAB König.

Maybe I'll write about the domestic horror stuff, but I still don't know how, so no promise 🤔

Most of them were already scared upon seeing him, so he sorta accepts his fate and moves on. But it'll be a different story if he has a lovely partner who can take care of them, or at least know how to handle them properly. So if he ever finds a starving kitten, he knows he can bring it home so his partner can nurse it back to health.

I just realized that IOFAB König is 40. At the very least 35. Cuz like HE'S A COLONEL. He has to be at least 40 to be able to be a colonel or maybe be in his 30s and be a lieutenant colonel (or maybe he's younger and his company is just corrupt). And this is if he's been in the military since he was of legal age which he probably was I mean, I know it's a fanon thing that König is a colonel so that's prolly why IOFAB König is a colonel but I'm getting to off topic

What I mean is... IOFAB König is at the very least in his very late 30s and probably experiences some kind of chronic pain (or those kinds of pain due to injuries). He is in his 40s in IOFAB, and idk if you ever meet people in their 40s, but they're still quite strong y'know 🤔 I know a man who could carry 30 kg worth of luggage without breaking a sweat, I know someone who could still ride a bike for 100++ km, they could even be stronger than the young men nowadays.

He wouldn't do much of the aftercare since he had to stop the bleeding, but he'd put her on the bed after he finished.

This is just a candid take but he's the type who'd keep the memory of the attempted murder from his wife. If the bullet didn't hit a major artery, he'd keep it inside. But if it did, he'd keep it as a memento. If you ask me why, I'd say that he did it bc he likes the chase.
