also didn’t express it enough but obsessed with oli’s 1v3 like. weirdest 1v3 imaginable. at one point he dodged both arrows by standing completely still in the middle. no one could hit and then suddenly he hit all three of his shots in a row. lime was saying he had to be singing and tbh I don’t want to see his pov I want to believe in that reality. he’s so slippery. he can’t possibly keep getting away with it (he then does). 36 arrows fired between the two teams. he’s a cartoon character. he’s a god. what a dodgebolt moment to open the season with,
a lil itty bitty animation of @beechskullz's marcel :)
the original 3 panels were a redraw of something suuuper old that i never posted. i really missed animating and i'm kinda getting back into it when i have the time, even though it takes forever- but toonsquid makes stuff so AMAZINGLY easier for me i am in love with it. hard recommend
ugh I have the text game AND an unfinished Aragorn/Boromir fic sitting in my drafts but doing the costuming document and talking about Faramir and Éowyn’s wedding clothes + sitting there like “man I’m surprised Éowyn doesn’t have her own sword on, its a romanticized invention of the sagas but it would’ve been cool to have them do a sword exchange” has made me wanna write Another Faramir/Éomer fic. because I think they should get to do a sword exchange
i really really want to take singing lessons this summer exclusively so i can sing all of music of the night but its such a specific goal i think they would laugh me away.
tw for work place harassment? general grossment? andor spoilers?
Dedra being harassed by Syril is so important. She's clearly a villian, at the top a hierarchy based on power but that doesn't make her immune to his entitlement.
i love that hermitcraft vault hunters is getting us interactions that would have seemed mythical and unobtainable a few months ago. iskall and welsknight were hanging out they did a whole bit in a bar joe built together. if you'd told a hermitcraft fan that would happen in like, june, i think they would have exploded,
my interpreation of takane’s daze being an end of the world type of scenario is bc she loves zombie videogames and theyre usually set in an apocalyptic world which ok that’s obvious but also the whole running out of time and how its the world ENDING but hasnt quite ended yet. and when we do see it finally destroyed in an adaptation like in mca, it’s by the time she has failed to make it in time and tell haruka her feelings. and it’s kind of silly but it is how she probably felt. she is in love and that feels like the end of the world because she is 17
and she is scared anyway but all of a sudden whatever is going on with her teenage mind isn’t her biggest problem because something much much much bigger than herself and her silly feelings for her classmate is going on. and then her world does end and she dies without really dying she is just such an interesting character bc she is the only one who...dies...but doesn’t Actually. everyone else has one or the other. enters the daze and gets out or not. but takane not really. like when u play a multiplayer game and u die but ur friend didn’t so ur just sitting there watching them keep playing by themselves. thats ene with shintaro
and then her friend also dies and that means they get to restart the game again and try again with both of them playing, even 4 of them playing since they get back those other 2 players they lost so long ago, but this time so much time has passed and now she’s suddenly an adult and suddenly has her 2 legs back and she has to face everything she has left behind including the thing that made her world crumble before her. haruka is alive somehow and she can tell him now. but she isn’t a kid anymore and neither is he and it’s not scary, it’s just a relief. (goes insane) (goes insane) (goes insane) (goes insane) (goes insane) (goes insane) (goes insane) (goes insane) (goes insane) (goes insane)
the ability to make three (at least) versions of the same song and have them ALL absolutely slap is insane. this post is about sir patrick spens by fairport convention btw. hashtag folk rock that makes me feel 40 years old in spirit
