Mini-review:

I must admit this surprised me quite a bit; it didn't go down the route I expected when it was announced. All in all, it's a very solid movie about grief. It's certainly not groundbreaking nor revolutionary, but it approaches its themes with enough sensitivity and confidence to separate itself from other similar movies. And the entire cast delivers on every single scene, giving some truly impressive performances, no matter how much screentime they get. So yeah, while A Part of You is not always an easy watch, it's a pretty strong entry in the teen movie genre.

I’ll forever be confused as to why Love and Anarchy is not a worldwide hit, or even a European hit series. Like the show is so good and so well thought out. It’s cosy and you can really see that the creator has a sense of what they wanna comunicate. It doesn’t have eye candy or flashy bits. Very different from what Netflix is pumping out lately. It’s a rom-com , yet it doesn’t relay on any of the common tropes of the genre. it has feminist undertones but they are subtle so it doesn’t feel like you are being lectured. Like why is no one talking about this ?!?
