Did Akwandor Really Copied The Beat??

  Reports on Facebook says Akwandor copied Stefflon Don "Hurting Me " beats for Wax Dey's song "Non Non" as the it sounds the same but with a small difference on the Non Non beat. *Hurting Me* was released in 2017 by Stefflon Don ft French Montana. Stefflon Don is a British rapper and singer from Hackney, London . She is best known for her 2017 single Hurting Me ft French Montana which peaked number 1 on the UK single chart. While "Non Non" by Wax Dey produced by Akwandor came in mid-2018 and was used as theme song for the "Number 1 Girl" reality TV show. Rene Immortal Matik (Music Business Consultant) earlier posted accusing Akwandor and Wax Dey for copying the beats: "One establish artist eh new release nah total copy of this music from the beat to the melody to the singing style.when inspiration Don bolleh people go take short cut .abi feel say nah upcoming artist dem sabi copy but nah instead dem egocentric establish artist dem copy pass upcoming . Which artist for 237 eh new release sound like this"

And a comment under Rene's post coming from El Kobi Warason (singer ,songwriter, music director) said, "I noticed the similarity in the base melody in the instrumentals for #NonNon and #HurtingMe immediately the audio of the former was released. I didn't think it called for a #TiffAlert given those are really easy simple chords and I had earlier played them in a beat I made years back, so I concluded it could a coincidence. Besides, apart from the base melody similarity, #NonNon instr is still very creative and has some original sounds. Nothing to raise eye brows about here. In addition even if it was a conscious #BeatTiff, it happens everywhere and the lyrics, flow and sung melody of the new song to me gets the seal of approval and is characteristic of creativity"
