is so keyed into Cas's emotional state that he knows something is wrong pretty immediately

the whole scene has the air of them being CAUGHT in a private place they go regularly

And these lines... he could've played straight but chose to play like this: shy-but-pleased, like he's fishing for attention or more information about why Cas has come to visit him.

Dean (practically preening): Man, you gotta StOp PoKinG aRouND in My DrEaMs teehee*

(1) This seems to imply that Cas visits Dean in his dreams a lot more than we see. Like come on, "stop poking around in my dreams." And Dean is practically gleeful when Cas arrives in his dream, like that man is EXCITED.

There's something too in he follows it up with (2) a warning that Cas should be careful poking, cause Dean is definitely probably having sexy "me" time in his dreams on occasion that he is definitely bubbling over with excitement at the mere thought of Cas walking in on.

When Cas turns the conversation to more business/work matters, Dean's face drops, like he's disappointed that this isn't a pure social call.

Day 3: Childhood/Future 🤍🤕

...Chidori keeps having a dream...A dream where a little girl covered in scars keeps crying alone in the dark...She doesn't know why but...she feels she must protect her 💔

She pulls the sheet she’s kept covering the outline of the wolf and dragon off for the final time. It unsettled her before Solas explained what it was, and since then her feelings haven’t changed. Solas’ final piece is a sketch of desperation and despair. The story it tells and the reason he created it only serves to upset her. If she could wipe it off the wall she would.

But she can’t… no more than she can take Solas’ path from him.

She steps toward the mural and places her spirit hand against the plaster. She pushes against the wall and lets her concentration fall, allowing her hand to phase through. She summons veilfire, and the wall erupts in blue-green flame, radiating from her wrist. The plaster colors and cracks. Pieces of it fall away.

When she pulls back her arm, a handprint remains, cracked through the fingers and palm and wreathed in smoky flame. Her mark stands between the wolf and the dragon - between Solas and his mistakes - exactly where it should be. Solas’ final mural finally takes its place among the others - a testament to Inquisitor Lavellan and her deeds.

Good or bad, the world will see her stand before him, and history will record the rest.

Day in Fandom History: March 6…

Upset over the airing of the reboot of Camp Pining Hearts, Steven and Peridot both decide to create their own version of the show with Steven magically broadcasting his dreams on his television for ideas. “In Dreams” premiered on this day, 4 Years Ago.

World grows silent as moon rises in the sky. Watching the ocean slowly rise and crash against the shore. Calm breeze rustling around leaves. You sit inches away from me, lost in deep thought as the conversation had left you in silence. You should been the one not my ex, but you are his friend devoted to that. But I first saw you I realized you should been one. Moon beams bath you in ways unholy I sometimes I call you ancient Greek statue like a painting so unreal. Your body chiseled perfectly face that makes anyone woman blush. Your eyes are a hazel pool I think of honey when looking in your eyes. They are color of the earth beneath rays of shimmering sunlight. How your hair is straight I can see silkiness it cut hair like 1920s cut. Your hair shade chestnut brown with hues darker brown tones. How I long to lace my fingers through it . Your scent that is hard to find hard understand the feeling it makes me feel bring warmth that sends shivers through my soul. But your lips so lush and soft looking when you smiled the pearl white perfect smile I become lost. Wanted to inch closer. But thing with life you will never turn and kiss me beneath the moonlight. It’s just dream I play on in my head. It’s a want that has me waking up in feverish states the raking finger cross my face. Then through my hairs. How will lay in my apartment in my bed looking out the window at night sky. Single person who wants what no one could offer like you.

Reasons I love the In Dreams episode

● Peridot and Steven focus!

● It's so funny that half of the episode is about how they both hate a reboot of a show they loved so much. They basically tried to write their own fix-it fic

● Peridot is fueled by her hatred of the reboot but also having fun with Steven and doing something they could enjoy together

● Honestly, as both funny and sad this episode is, it's also the culmination of Peridot's development with Steven. Her willingness to do something fun with him but stop the moment it hurts him or causes conflict shows how far she's come and it's great

● Peridot can draw and storyboard and I love that fact

● Peridot without her visor! Peridot eyes reveal!!

● This is the last episode where Peridot gets at least half the focus, what with her and Steven being the only two characters actually featured in the episode. Yes she does show up in the remaining episodes and with a brief important moment in the last one, but to me this episode feels like a send-off to her character in a good and warm way. Idk it's special to me
