This was the one I requested! You captured him perfectly! Ryuga was my favorite Beyblade character back in the day, and still is now! He's just so cool!
This came out so cute! Oh my gosh! You really captured her delicate nature so well, and the like innocent wonder in her eyes, it's just so adorable! Thank you so much! I know if she understood it was her she'd be so happy to see her (she stares at herself in the mirror, so I think she knows she's cute, maybe, haha). (:
@choijesoo shooting star is genuinely one of the silliest dogs i’ve ever seen. i love her and her entire vibe so muchhhhh you said shes very patient so she gets dressed up a lot so i put her in various costumes :)
Thank you! I appreciate this perspective! I've always wanted most for my writing to inspire emotion in people! Usually, there's a specific one in mind, but evoking anything in anyone strongly enough they decide to comment should be a win, I guess!
I think I need help identifying whether this is a nice comment or not 😅:
(Honestly, I get excited for any comment, though! Especially when it is either nice or ambiguous. 😀)
The sun rises each day, unappreciated for its inconsistency, just as the moon lies at night, known best for starlight. If those things were to fall away, never to be seen again, no one would question the love of the earth in, its stars, and their placements. That, one only rises for the other, one life revolves around its lover.
Reblog this message if you encourage anyone that wants to draw your OC to do so. No need to ask for permission in advance.
Go for it. Draw my OC. If you want, I’ll even give you reference posts. Go to town on it.
You are welcome to draw my OC and surprise me with the result. Seriously. In fact, I encourage it. I will proudly display whatever it is you submit to me regarding my OC. There is a chance that I will squeal about it for several days.
Even if you feel you aren’t good at whatever artistic adventure it is you do, please feel free to submit it to me. I want to see what you have done.
Carpal tunnel doesn't always go away on its own! If you feel symptoms, get it checked out!
After writing strenuously for weeks at a time, over 3 years ago now, one of my fingers randomly swelled up, it wasn't a lot, so I didn't look into it, but then the swelling would escalate to the point I could no longer bend my finger, and I would also feel pain.
That later spread into multiple fingers that would be painfully swollen, then also to my wrists, that wouldn't swell, but would be weak, and react painfully to things as small as bending one of my fingers, all varying each day.
Not to mention the mental turmoil of losing strength in the hands you use all the time at a young age, just plain not being able to use them sometimes, and having to rely on people for help in a world where accessible things are either expensive or unavailable.
I never got it checked out because I told myself at one point I was in too deep, and early on, I was always told it would heal on its own by others I knew who had it, but it did not.
Most people do heal, but not everyone. I wasn't told there were exceptions, so know that there are. Take care of yourself, don't tell yourself to just sit in pain, and don't listen to people who dismiss your experience.
I will admit here, though, that I do, at times, heavily reference/trace poses in my art. It helps me get the base down, then I accommodate to fit the body type of the character, as well as add all the other details independently (facial features, hair, clothes, coloring, etc).
I don't do it all the time, I've done plenty of art without any tracing involved, but I've also done some that did include it.
I apologize if I should have been upfront with that from the beginning.
I'm a beginner drawing on my phone, and anatomy is not my strong suit, I'd heard wishy washy things about tracing being good for practice, so I'd use it when given a specific pose I wasn't sure I could make work otherwise. I'm sorry.
