Conrad Veidt in costume for the 1921 film MYSTERIES OF INDIA, PART I: TRUTH ("Das indische Grabmal erster Teil - Die Sendung des Yoghi"), directed by Joe May and partially written by Fritz Lang. The film was also released in the US as THE INDIAN TOMB.
A strange guest at my usual lake - an Indian Runner Duck. When the duck was in the water it looked nearly like a normal mallard duck, but on land it was clearly different. The other ducks were not impressed and mobbed the runner duck until it fled back into the water.
My guess is that due to bird flu someone got rid of their runner ducks by abandoning them into the wild, because at the moment if you keep poultry you have to keep them indoors in a shed or so, in order to avoid further transmissions of the bird flu.
