Luxury Living By The Ocean
Oceanside and oh-so spectacular, these three luxury apartments are made to wow. Whilst the uninterrupted waterside views are blue, sparkling and stunning, amazingly they are not the stars of the show. These huge homes are set with designer furniture, beautiful lighting, high-end decor finishes and seamless concepts that guide the eye in awe. Luxury living rooms, chic dining room designs, enviable kitchens, commanding master bedrooms and elegant bathrooms culminate into addictive home style inspiration that will have you scrolling for more and more. Without even stepping foot on the sand or taking a single splash in the waves, living by the ocean never looked so good.
Visualizer: Vizline Studio   An expansive luxury living room unfolds across a wide waterside view in our first apartment tour. Sheer voiles billow over the ocean panorama. The high-ceilinged lounge area is capped with dark wood tone panelling that’s sliced through with staggered strip lights.
This is a special living room with a spectacular view on two sides. Blue waves ripple around the dining room, where a stunning botanical dining room pendant explodes above the table.
Whilst the sofa and living room rug are light, the coffee table and lounge chairs bring weighty black accents.
A modern lamp leans elegantly over one corner of the grey sectional sleeper sofa, dropping in another dark note.
A common colour palette connects the living room dining room combo, creating one cohesive and sophisticated scheme.
Large format floor tiles sweep seamlessly throughout the open plan.
Black modern dining chairs contrast smartly against a white dining room tabletop.
An impressive spiral staircase design twists up to the second story of the apartment; patterns created on the underside of the treads are suggestive of a giant Nautilus shell.
The luxury kitchen is a two tone design, where tall wood effect units counterbalance the pale finish of base cabinets and wall cupboards.
Two oversized kitchen pendant lights create a large statement over the breakfast table.
Coffee can be taken at the luxe marble kitchen island, which looks outward over the terrace and sea view.
The kitchen’s patio doors lead straight onto an outdoor dining area that sits poolside.
Beige dining chairs and a natural stone dining table complement the kitchen’s oak countertop and wood tone accent cabinets.
Moving into the luxury bedroom, wood panels have been used to build a warm and cosy effect across the headboard feature wall. A unique magazine holder shares the rug space with the platform bed.
The same rich wood tone covers the bedroom TV wall, which is suspended gracefully over a linear modern fireplace.
A bedroom chair pulls up close to the stone hearth.
On the other side of the open fireplace, we find a gorgeous ensuite bathroom design with a freestanding tub.
Visualizer: Kaminskyi   Our second apartment is home to another stunning linear fireplace design, which stretches wide across an enormous double height living room. Wood effect panels climb the grand chimney breast, framing in a large TV above the flickering orange flame.
A U-shaped sectional sofa arrangement marks out the lounge, with a light area rug at its core. Caramel coloured scatter cushions warm the look of the cool white couch upholstery.
Clusters of orb pendant lights descend randomly across the vast space to distribute an even glow and spectacle.
Clear glass coffee tables reflect the light at the heart of the room, and suspend decorative items as if entirely weightless.
Glass doors adjoin the living room to the sun terrace, making one free-flowing indoor-outdoor living area.
A small overhang protects the interior from the direct glare of the sun.
The orb lights become dining room chandeliers as we move along the open plan space. Curved back dining chairs stylishly complement the circular motif.
A crisp white kitchen stands just beyond the dining room.
An eye catching modern chandelier serves a gorgeous marble topped kitchen island
Architect: Shelton, Mindel and Associates   Two units were purchased and merged to create our third and last apartment interior, in an ultra-luxury condominium development. Two curved sofas surround a custom-built media wall.
Sleek white cabinet doors slide closed to conceal the TV, and reveal two alcoves of decorative shelving on a breezy blue backdrop.
A round dining table was selected to reflect the shape of the neighbouring curved sofas. Bright blue dining chairs add a seaside feel.
Yellow decor elements make a sunny companion to the cheerful blue accent pieces.
A simple console table makes an ideal landing spot for colourful touches to be added to the white hallway. Ribbed panelling adds interesting texture to the long walls of the passageway.
A quirky jellyfish mural swims across a curvaceous yellow storage volume. A circular glass vase makes a clear accompaniment to a pair of transparent acrylic chairs.
More curves characterise a futuristic white kitchen design.
A soft end of bed bench and a headboard accent wall add a whisper of grey to the white master bedroom.
Modern outdoor chairs furnish the terrace, which is bowed like the deck of a ship.
The guest bedrooms of the home are given a high colour treatment, like this vibrant red bedroom design.
The yellow bedroom scheme follows the same colour principles as the red, with accents appearing as headboard wall panels, bordered bed linen, drapes, a stylish bedroom chair, and a colour matched TV remote control tray.
Similar accent pieces set up a blue bedroom in one coordinated sweep.
The final guest room features a three colour floor lamp that pays homage to the three coloured bedroom themes.
In the bathroom, shining chrome framework sharply contains the bathtub, shower and a double sink bathroom vanity.

2 Exquisite Turkish Villas That Make You Hunger For Luxury
You will be hungry to have more luxury in your life and your living spaces once you cast eyes on these two exquisite Turkish villas, each visualised by Jasmin Kodzha. Walnut wood and travertine shape bespoke furniture and bathroom features, and seamlessly cover both floors and walls. Golden lustre dances through both of the home designs via high-end designer light fixtures, door hardware and home accessories, as well as a shimmering satin gold kitchen island and a rich patinated brass fireplace design. These homes are set on a large footprint and impressive concepts are employed to fill that space. You’ll find lavish living rooms, magnificent bathrooms, and one simply stunning courtyard that gives the first villa a cherished living heart.
Inherited from the homeowner’s grandfather, this property allowed the young family to leave the busy Istanbul megapolis and become closer to nature. A fruitful and beloved perennial walnut tree grew on the spot where the villa was to be built, and so it was lovingly encapsulated into the luxury living room.
The live walnut tree inspires many elements of the contemporary living space, influencing texture and colour choices. A criss-cross pattern fills the rug, like the great intertwined limbs of the tree, and a modern chandelier branches out above it. A patinated brass fireplace strikes a lavish note beneath walnut wood media cabinets.
Walnut and oak trees surround the beautiful lot in the area of Rishadie, which is on the outskirts of Istanbul next to the forest.
The same criss-crossed rug design provides a soft landing spot for the dining room on the opposite side of the courtyard.
A imposing dining room chandelier arcs widely across the racetrack dining table.
The dark stain dining chair design looks like a stylish armless version of the Easy Chair
A metallic kitchen island gives the room a huge dose of wow factor. See more inspiration for gold accents in interior design.
A minimalist kitchen faucet and a linear light pick up on the lustrous theme. A short glass vase holds a chic botanical arrangement.
The staircase design features a spiralled balustrade that curves in harmony with the twisted trunk of the walnut tree.
A bench seat is positioned in the walkway so that the majestic courtyard can be admired for a while in comfort.
LED ribbons illuminate each wooden stair out of the shadow of the solid veneer balustrade.
A sophisticated bedroom scheme is filled with high-end designer touches, like the Pierre Jeanneret Easy Chair.
The bedroom pendant light, wall sconces and bedside lamp bring in rich gold accents that lustre against a unique travertine headboard.
A minimalist home office fits into an alcove by the bed. Soft LEDs glow around an open shelf, highlighting it against a dark walnut backdrop. An arched stool makes a quirky partner for the simple desk.
A wide fireplace fills the remainder of the wall, warming the bedroom lounge area.
An ensuite bathroom waits around the corner.
There is a coffee bar integrated into the walnut walls of the bedroom, so there’s no need to leave the bedroom snug in a hurry.
Huge walnut panels above the fireplace slide away to reveal a large TV and a tower of bookshelves.
Gold kitchenware and unique coffee mugs fill the bar, along with some delicious turkish figs.
On the bedroom coffee table, a glass vase echoes the unusual shape of the arched desk stool.
Inside the ensuite luxury bathroom, a sunken bathtub reclines into the floor.
Smooth travertine texture washes over the bespoke tub and an exquisite double sink set.
Freestanding taps fill the modern pedestal basins from opposite sides, creating a balanced aesthetic. Vanity mirrors descend in front of a huge window on long golden stems.
A luxury kid’s room is lit by the courtyard during the day and a spectacular chandelier during the night.
The kid’s study space looks out to the courtyard greenery.
Our second luxury villa features a sweeping modern sofa design that dominates much of the living room.
A square coffee table sets contrast with the curvaceous couch and a pair of rounded lounge chairs.
The space is an open plan living room dining room combo, which is linked by one long green panorama of a lush tropical garden.
Apricot throw pillows add a touch of sweetness to the pale off-white sofa.
A modern chandelier expands a gold accent above the dining table.
Gentle beige decor promotes calm and tranquility.
The small kitchen is walled in by its own U-shaped cabinet arrangement and a compact kitchen island.
A minimalist gold tap adds an eye catching accessory to the plain island volume.
Artwork fills the top of an unusual zig zag console table. Chevron flooring vibes with the angular outline of the piece.
Moving into the master bedroom, we’re met with peaceful decor that promotes rest and relaxation.
Duckbill shade wall sconces attach to a modern winged headboard concept.
A bedside table flanks each side.
Opposite the foot of the bed, double doors open up to give entry to a beautiful ensuite bathroom. Inside, a double sink bathroom vanity arrangement flanks the entryway.
A gold tap accessorises each travertine vanity.
The central feature of the bathroom is a freestanding bathtub, which creates a wonderful viewpoint from the bedroom when the double doors are left open.
A modern wall sconce lights the area around a cosy lounge chair in the bedroom, making it into a comfortable reading spot.
Perimeter lights paint an atmospheric glow down travertine textured walls.
