A highlight of my UK teaching career before I bowed out... I was chosen by the British Council in London to lead a tri-school delegation to establish a schools partnership in Kuwait City. Here I present the goals& aspirations of such a partnership with teachers from different schools in Kuwait City as well as the British Consulate rep in Kuwait, in the hotel bombed in the first Iraq war... It was a humbling cultural experience indeed and an unforgettable experience. The world has changed even more since then.
