Out of context snippet #2
The human slave Miranda took one look at the Grugrugs Deathlomat vessel, and couldn't contain herself.
"This thing looks like a Frisbee," she commented, only to receive a smack for her troubles.
"Silence you infernal machine!" One of the Grugrugs yelled at her, in perfect English. It was none other than the Deathlomat Grrawr'splittle. His dark red exoskeleton was complimented by his royal robes, which were the sacred colour of hot pink.
"You're nothing more than an over sized, upright ant." She muttered under her breath, trying to ignore the painful throbbing on the side of her face. Thankfully this insult was unheard by Grrawr'splittle, who was busy putting a fishbowl that had been salvaged from the planet over his head. He had been assured by several Grugrug scientists that this was one of the human planets state of the art environmental protection suits.
Never one to question science, Grrawr'splittle took his time carefully adjusting the fishbowl so that his mandibles could extend far enough to allow speech. When he was satisfied that his helmet was properly in place, he jabbed the slave woman in the back to encourage her to move faster.
Unfortunately, his jab was strong enough to completely pierce through the woman, who immediately fell to the floor once Grrawr'splittle pulled out his claw.
"Whoops" Grrawr'splittle swore, kicking the gasping woman once as she bled out onto the already blood stained floor, "why must you be made of such soft, supple flesh!?"
Miranda could not respond, for the kick had severed her spine and killed her instantly. With his universal translator now exceedingly broken and bleeding everywhere, Grrawr'splittle saw no other choice then to proceed on his own. Carefully stepping on the dead woman's face as he passed over her, Grrawr'splittle walked towards the diplomatic vessel.
