I get there and they're alive but hurt, saying Something at the top of the stairs. So I head inside, only realizing when I'm midway up the stairs that this is a terrifying scenario

ok because astarion is such an interesting pick for me because i feel. historically my favorites are guys with something thats obviously wrong with them that, through the nature of the character or my relationship with the character, will not be changed and/or fixed. this guy has something profoundly wrong with him and this will not change. and w astarion, there's the urge to fix, which im trying with all my might to resist.. and underneath that, there's the hope that he will decide to change on his own. its not exactly perfect opposites but they are brothers. they are foils for one another
