My Lolita Wardrobe

OKAY. This thread is pics of my Lolita fashion wardrobe. These were taken on my bed with my phone and no image editing--not exactly professional. But I'd never done this before and thought it would be fun! :D

Everything but the bag and ring is Angelic Pretty (bag is Loris). Left is Cosmic print and right is Dream Sky.

Yet more Angelic Pretty--everything but the stripey socks, which are Sock Dreams. Left is Mallorca Cutsew OP, right is Honey Cake, which yes, I'm still squee'ing about lol

Innocent World jsk's! Left is Trump Rose (lace needs ironing out, grumble), right is Glitter Seraphim, middle one I can't remember (and is probably the one I've worn the most out of all my Lolita dresses tbh)

Bodyline jsk's. The one on the right is the first specifically-Lolita item I ever bought, in 2009! I had no idea it was a replica at the time. It's stained and needs a good ironing, but it still gives me happy feelings, y'know?

Skirts! Left and right are Meta, one black and the other Typewriting Squirrels. Middle skirt *was* an Innocent World jsk but I had it turned into a skirt. Second photo is close-up of the flocking. (...I've mostly worn it for a femme!Sherlock cosplay tbh.)

Left I made myself and the print has tiny bicycles. Right I found at a Buffalo Exchange and needs new elastic

Blouses! L-R: Handmade and bought secondhand, Anna House, Bodyline.

MOAR BLOUSES. all various off-brand except bottom right, which is vintage Gunne Sax. (should....take a pic of all my Gunne Sax sometime, too, ahaha)

Random things I didn't include anywhere else: a bolero and handbag, some hair things, all off-brand.

Coat is Forever 21 (with buttons outlined in red for, yes, the Sherlock cosplay years ago), parasol is Totes. I have gotten far, far more than my money's worth out of this coat, you guys.

There's certainly things I've forgotten while doing this, like all my normie socks/tights I wear with Lolita. But it was fun and rather educational? Like, I can stop buying blouses, but I should get more cardigans/boleros, and consider getting a new coat. And more accessories!

Also I didn't include my wigs. Maybe next time. XD

I do think it's worth noting that except for the Cosmic and Honey Cake sets, the Bodyline, and some of the off-brand, a HUGE amount of this (including all of the Innocent World and Meta) was secondhand. It's worth stalking sales pages/groups, y'all.

IW's jsk's usually range from $200 to $400 new, and I think the most I paid was $140 and that included shipping. I paid $40 for the Meta skirts, and $160 for the Dream Sky dress, headband, and scrunchie. Lolita is never going to be *cheap* but it doesn't have to bankrupt you.

My parents’ backyard was just magical when I visited them earlier this month, and we had a warm and sunny day so I had to take photos! I’m laughing in the last one because snow kept falling on me from the trees haha.
