Louis Tomlinson liked Jack Cochrane’s Instagram post announcing the release of The Snuts’ third album, Millenials.
The animated series Star Trek Lower Decks premiered on Aug 6, 2020. It was the 9th Star Trek series, the first animated series since Star Trek the animated series (1973 - 1975), the first Star Trek comedy series, and the first series to premiere the same year as another Star Trek series (Picard). Production during the first seaaon had to be modified due to Covid. The series events began in the year 2380 and focused on jr officers and what would be normally secondary characters on a Federation Star Fleet ship. I wasn't crazy about this movie, but it's colorization is infinitely better than the last one I shared. This movie actually warrants a colorization. The colorized version looks surreal and dreamlike, in a way that's fitting for the movie's tone.
Books about Thomas, Lord Cochrane, 10th Earl of Dundonald
Part 1: The early biographies
Book No. 2
THE LIFE AND DARING EXPLOITS OF LORD DUNDONALD
by John McGilchrist
Another old biography, first published in 1861. It is extremely rare and hard to find. Although the book is not in good condition, I am very happy to own this old edition. Reprints are available for about 20 Euro upwards.

Tight Grip!
This story is narrated by a trunk and concerns the murder of a woman the trunk is fond of. When the murderer attempts to hide in the trunk, he panics and shoots holes through it, whereupon the trunk contracts itself turning the killer into flesh spaghetti and concentrated bone.
Possibly the craziest naval battle in the age of sail!
Someone found this link for me as we've been speculating on Captain Jack Aubrey and his portliness or otherwise. Apparently Thomas Cochrane is supposed to have been the inspiration for him - one of those cases of truth being stranger than fiction!
