My daughter and I are in the midst of another drawing tutorial on YouTube. This guy's pictures are good, but he just goes so damned fast! We have to constantly stop and back up so we don't miss steps.

Today wasn't really a good day... and while trying to stay positive I found the newly released tutorial by James Julier... and he has a very calming voice and following his tutorials is always fun. So I gave his newest tutorial a try to also draw fireflies over a lake in a forest. I might have gone a little overboard with the fireflies... <cough>

Another one down! I’m trying to do something in procreate every day, though I don’t know if I’ll keep posting them all here when I finish. I feel like I might be posting too much ‘not-my-own-stuff’, especially since these are all from tutorials.

this one is from james julier and it was great, i haven't done digital art since college and i had no issue following along. very relaxing, bob ross type of way to learn a new medium

I followed James Julier Art’s tutorial of the Milky Way 🌌 and this is my result.

It’s the first tutorial I did in procreate a couple of months ago, and I wonder if I would do it a little different now

Of course, it's another James Julier tutorial - his finished picture is so good it almost looks like a photograph, so I wanted to challenge myself. So far, so good! Again, it's stupidly easy to do these, you just would not believe! Of course, doing it with something other than Procreate would probably be more challenging.

Another Procreate landscape - again not my idea but something I did following a James Julier tutorial (link). I needed that today to destress after a somewhat frustrating day at work.

It's somewhat messy, I might try to clean it up a little at a later point... but for now I am happy with it and because I like it I still want to share it with you - even if it's not really my own idea.

I also attached the larger version of the file. (it's best to step back a few feet from the screen to look at the piece ;) it works better from a distance XD)
