On anti-racist academic and advocate Jane Elliot's antiblackness:
The other day, a friend posted an Instagram story about one of our favorite anti-racist advocates, Jane Elliot, using the "N Word" at a casual social gathering.
Given this, it's not hard to believe that this outspoken, unapologetic "anti-racist" professor is also against the distribution of reparations among Black people. Her reasoning isn't different than the typical white supremacist argument against reparations that attempts to muddy the water, spotlight a "more deserving" recipient, and justify that it would be too complicated.

random info if you didn't know but, jane elliot who's now a long time soap vet and worked w/ elvis in change of habit allegedly slept with him. when giving an interview about him, she said she wouldn't say they didn't sleep together and the director confirmed it further. he said she'd go off into his trailer between setups and come out with her wimple askew and her habit looking a bit messed up.
they were so cute in their behind the scene photos and I love how they were just constantly touching each other and were always sitting together 😭💗
could you imagine the walk of shame they must have done everyday after getting out their trailers and having to go to hair and makeup lmaooo

I'm not allowed to post another video, but please also watch this Black woman's video. She basically talks about how Jane Elliot centers Black issues in anti-racist discussions, but when asked about reparations, she suddenly brings up Native Americans being given reparations first, which was said in a way that was very dismissive to the issue, and kinda weird because she's never talked about Native American issues and when she even brings up Native Americans it's usually in the form of indigenous erasure.
And I don't really have anything to add to this. Mostly because this isn't my place to talk. But I do want to bring up a lot of the indigenous erasure talking points Jane Elliott uses, are the same ones Kanye uses. And I find it strange that a Black man gets called out so loudly for his problematic rhetoric, but a white woman says the same thing and literally no one is talking about it.
