Renee's story where she saves Jean being called Lazarus is literally so important to me.

Jesus was warned not to go back to save Lazarus because it would be too dangerous. They worried he would be stoned to death. He went anyway because he loved him.

And Jesus was too late. When he got to Judea, Lazarus had already been dead for four days. This is where the infamous "Jesus wept" passage comes from. Bringing him back to life was a miracle.

Jean was already dead too. He had been dead for years until Nora decided to save him. And Renee was too late. Too late to save him from the pain and suffering not just of that night but for his whole life. She mourned him too.

Saving him was an act in defiance of the natural order of things, it was a miracle. According to everyone else, it was impossible to get him out of the Nest. But she did, with God at her side, because she loved him, just as Jesus loved Lazarus.

And then Renee gives him her cross, gives him a symbol of that same faith that raised him from the dead.

Head canon that Jean leans into being a girl dad HARD.

No literally this is the scene:

You’ve spent the day with Annie and Armin. Jean urged you to take a break from being a mom to your 3-year old daughter for a day, so the two friends took you out for a third-wheel date that you actually loved. You got to be parented for a day!

And when you come back home, you walk into the living room to find Jean, Connie, and Levi having a tea party with your daughter. These three men don’t know the meaning of toxic masculinity. You burst out laughing at the scene - all three men are sitting on the floor in front of the coffee table, and are wearing feather boas you’ve never seen before. The tea set Levi got your daughter for her third birthday is spread before them.

Levi is as stoic as ever, but he raises his tea cup that your daughter carefully painted for him. Connie has the biggest grin on his face as your daughter offers him with a cookie. She turns back to her father, Jean, and yells “Don’t move!”

You raise an eyebrow at him and he lifts up his hands - your daughter painted his fingernails bright turquoise.

“I said don’t move, it’ll drip!!” She repeats. And sure enough, the nail polish she was a bit over eager with is dripping down Jean’s fingers.

“Sorry sweetie!” He apologizes and grins at you with a smile that says “See, we’re perfectly fine without you for a day!”

“Daddy said we could have a tea party, so I invited Uncle Connie and Uncle Levi!” Your daughter explains with gusto. She was running this show and Jean was happy to oblige.

“I see,” you laugh and sit down with your little found family.

Jean hands you a tea cup.

“Cheers!”

Little silly university-sketches dump

So my good friend @louieclamlent adviced me several times to publish the little sketches i make when i'm bored in university or just inspired.

It's mainly Holmes and Watson sketches, as those two live rent free in my head and i made these sketches during my Hygien lessons this semester since i already passed that exam. There will be my notes on the side and yep, they're very colorful, my friends call them 'the gay pride notes'

We were talking of the necessity or not of screening tests and of over diagnosis, which is an actual problem but GOD, he treated it in such an infuriating way.

While he talked quite well of trials and levels of research

Ans this one was made for my GF, @mostvaliantandmostpround, and also because my love for this man is quite endless.

Now to the other professor! This one was very very nice

As our Watson says, we really dealt a strong hit to infective illnesses!
