You smiled to yourself when you heard your apartment door open and slam shut. You didn't even bother to get out of bed, the woman would find her way there in seconds.

Said and done, your bedroom door slammed open and a pair of angry blue eyes glared at you. You knew you were in trouble and would probably have to pay later, but you weren't going to deny that she was insanely sexy when upset.

"Where the hell were you?!" she demanded, walking purposefully towards you "You were supposed to pick me up at the airport!!"

"I told you that-"

"I waited for two hours Y/N! And I had to order a taxi!" You tried not to laugh at how offended she sounded at the latter.

"I'm sorry" you said, making your best innocent face.

Jennifer scowled at you, her arms folded. Well, plan B then. You were wearing shorts, so all you had to do was spread your legs a bit.

"I'm really sorry" you said again.

"You are lucky to be cute" she told you.

You smiled when she climbed onto the bed, settling herself between your legs. Her arms rested on either side of your hips, allowing her to lift a little above you. She stared at you for a few seconds before kissing you deeply, demanding everything from you as always.

"Why weren't you there?" she asked her when she pulled away.

"I told you I had a medical consultation" you said "I warned you that I couldn’t come for you"

"What did the doctor tell you?" her voice suddenly became concerned and you smiled

"All good" you assured her, pecking at her lips "just a routine checkup"

Jen smiled at you in relief, before reverting to the role of annoyed lover.

"I wanted to see you right away" she told you

"I know, I'm sorry" you sighed "I know you hate going to those little towns that have nothing to offer you and where things rarely happen"

"Well, yes-"

"And I know you always arrive exhausted after spending the day in one of them, especially in Pawnee" you interrupted her

"Oh, don't even mention it, if Ben doesn't-" she tried to speak again.

"And that Leslie Knope, even though you like her, can be exhausting to deal with. So I'm seriously sorry I wasn't there."

Jen looked at you while you kept babbling apologies. You were adorable, yes, but no one interrupted Jennifer Barkley. Not even her incredibly beautiful girlfriend.

You gasped when the older woman pushed you onto your back, pinning you to the bed. She kissed you deeply once more, before laying on top of you.

"You're talking too much, just shut up and hold me" she told you, burying her head in your neck.

You smiled and kissed her head. You had been dating her for over three years, so you knew that for Jennifer Barkley "hold me" meant "any minute I'm going to touch you and we're going to end up moaning all night". But you would enjoy having her in your arms for as long as you could.

No more than three minutes later, you felt her tongue run up your neck and one of her hands slipping through your blouse. You laughed softly. Well, let Jennifer Barkley's reign begin.

Chapter Seven (Jennifer Barkley x Reader)

Previous Chapter

ok so this is meant to be the final chapter but I suck at endings so maybe I'll return someday- anyways thank you all so much for all the comments, it genuinely means the world to me that everyone's enjoyed reading it as much as I've loved writing it :)

All the doubts you'd had about pursuing a relationship with Jen dissolved within the first week. Your main concern had been that she'd continue to avoid her feelings, continue to treat you like a one-night stand, yet her honest compassion had surprised you. After the first night together, you'd woken up to find she'd ordered breakfast to your house- though how she'd gotten JJs to deliver remained a mystery. Then, when you inevitably brought up the subject of what comes next, she'd settled down for a genuine, emotionally mature conversation, which had ended with her straddling your lap. Not that you were complaining.

Although the progression of your relationship had been anything but normal up to that point, she insisted on taking you on several extravagant dates, as though you'd met under more traditional conditions and were just getting to know each other, but those also usually ended up with her straddling you in some way. Being fully committed to the role, Jen even bought herself an apartment in Pawnee. Well, Eagleton, but it was situated right along the town line, so the only one with any complaints was Leslie.

Eventually, there was the unavoidable fact that Jennifer had to return to Washington for work, which was devastating for the both of you. Upon dropping her off at the airport, you'd been struck by a bitter sense of Deja-vu, the sensation similar to being doused in cold water. Despite the obvious devotion in her eyes, the tight grip she had on your waist and reluctance to acknowledge her impending departure, you were unable to shake off the apprehension. The circumstances felt sickeningly familiar, that was, until the final goodbye.

Unlike the last time, nothing was left unsaid.

Finding a quiet corner, Jen had kissed you in an unusually chaste manner, then leant her forehead against yours. The contact felt real, grounded in promises of a future together regardless of distance. Even if the moment was fleeting, the touch would've been sufficient to reassure you. Except then, as usual, she went above and beyond. She momentarily separated, sliding her hands to rest on your shoulders and staring at you with an unreadable expression.

You were content just savouring the opportunity to appreciate her company, especially considering the way she was looking at you. The seemingly inconsequential moment became significantly more meaningful as you began to reconsider how determined you were to stay in Pawnee, ultimately deciding that you'd be willing to move if Jen suggested it.

However, you weren't the only one reaching some resemblance of a conclusion, as after a brief pause Jen confessed a soft. "I love you." It was barely audible over the general ruckus of the airport, and initially barely believable.

After a few seconds of silence, you finally caught up to what had just happened. By this point, she was watching you with an insecure yet infatuated smile, awaiting some kind of response. Wasting no more time, you grabbed hold of Jen, tugging her closer. "I love you too."

Overcome with relief, she let out a watery laugh and brought a hand up to cover her face, which you immediately tried to remove.

"Stop." You chuckled as she swapped hands, adamant on remaining hidden. "Come on, did you really think I would've said anything else?"

"Of course not." Suddenly shaking off the overly emotional appearance, she stopped trying to cover her face, though failed to hide the clearly smudged makeup. "I'm incredible. Who wouldn't love me?"

"Exactly." You grasped onto her hands, forcing her to look at you. "I love you, so much."

With an ambivalent smile, she wrapped her arms around you, electing to enjoy the last few minutes in an embrace. "Can't believe I'm saying this, but I don't want to leave Pawnee." She mumbled, breath tickling your ear.

"I know." You sighed, soothingly rubbing her back. "And I can't believe you waited until now to confess your undying love for me." The words still sounded foreign to your ears, the phrase inconceivable. Jennifer Barkley loved you, and in return, you were in love with her. "Who would've known you were such a romantic?"

She scoffed. "Don't push it, honey." Then turned so her lips brushed against your throat. The light touch was bliss. Distracting enough that you didn't notice her hands slipping further down your back until she, without warning, bit down on your skin. Taken aback by the sudden heat, you inhaled sharply, while simultaneously moving closer to her.

As she started soothing over the mark with her tongue, you exhaled. "You're insatiable."

She backed away, though tightened her grip on your lower back. "You love it."

"Yes, I do."

Her eyes scanned your face admiringly, as though she were committing every detail to memory. At the reminder that she was due to leave soon, the mood suddenly dropped, prompting you to do the same. The moment was perfect. You wanted to commit it to memory, though struggled to drag yourself away from Jen's face, preferring to watch the range of emotions flickering through her eyes.

This was not the first time that you'd felt such deep devotion toward Jennifer Barkley, and you doubted it'd be the last. You'd both come so far, endured so much that neither were willing to let go just yet. Even with the imminent distance about to form between you, it was clear that your relationship would survive. Because although you'd taken the long, arduous path, both of you were left feeling better for it.

Best 100 Songs of the decade!

As a new decade will be upon us shortly (the 20’s) I wanted to share some of my favourite tracks from the last 10 years. I’m a pop and rap guy mostly so that’s what you can mostly expect but hopefully a few surprises along the way. I’ll post 100 songs I really loved (in no particular order) then my top 25 absolute favourites at the end. Ok here we go

~Bad Romance - Lady Gaga

To limit myself to just one GaGa track is cruel and not easy, Edge of Glory and Born this Way are both anthems and technically this came out last moment 2009 ..but didn’t pop until 2010. A classic that makes it to most my playlists.

~Airplanes- B.O.B ft Hayley Williams (A classic no need to say more.)

~Love the Way you Lie - Eminem ft Rihanna

A absolutely brutal tune about a toxic relationship full of of lies and abuse, the powerful video really sells the tone of the song.

~Rescue Me - Skepta

Used to love Grime but gone off it for a while now. I wouldn’t call this an outright grime track but Skepta def brings the gritty uk rap scene on this one.

~Forget you ~ Ceeloo Green

Thou I prefer the Gnarls Barkley music style, this is still a awesome tune. Always fun to tell someone to do one in a sing song melody.

~Written in the Stars- Tinie Tempah ft Eric Turner

Used to love me some TT, this was a real catchy banger with great chorus by Eric Turner.

~Raise your glass - Pink (Not much to say, a pop classic)

~I need a Dr - Eminem, ft Dr Dre and Skylar Grey

This is such a underrated song. You have to really know your Dre and Em history to catch everything being said (which I won’t go into here) Brilliant tune and my fave they both worked on together that decade.

~Animal- Neon Trees

Really catchy little number that I enjoyed from first hearing.

~Look at me now - Chris Brown ft Lil Wayne and Busta Rhymes

Busta Rhymes rap, that is all!

~Moves like Jagger - Maroon 5, Christina Aguilera

A great sing a long featuring two artists I’m not mad about really so a surprise like from me.

~ In the heat of the moment - Noah Gallagher’s High Flying Birds

What a tune, completely missed this first time around heard on a tv show recently checked it was this decade and then added it right on the list. Banger.

~Summertime Sadness AND ~Love - Lana Del Ray

2 for 1. When Summertime Sadness came out I was mesmerised by Lana’s voice had never heard anything like it before. Safe to say she is my artist of the decade but haven’t raided this count down with all her music. A couple here and a couple of my absolute faves in my ultimate top 25. Love was very heard to keep out of my top 25.

~Stronger (What doesn’t kill you) - Kelly Clarkson

Come on now, if you haven’t belted this one out the top of your lungs at least once I don’t know what you’ve been doing the last ten years.

~Somebody that I used to know - Goyte ft Kimbra

Went thru moments of really liking this song then it really irritating me (played on radio A LOT), thankfully years later the hype has died so I can appreciate it once more.

Midnight City- M83

This is not really my sort of music at all ,so much so I’m not even sure how to describe it. Has a 80’s feel which I love. Just love the infusion of synths and instrumental. Plus the singer has a very calm melodic voice. Great track.

~T.H.E - Will.I.Am ft Mick Jagger and Jennifer Lopez

Absolutely love this song so catchy very Fergie era BEP sounding, with a great guest solo from Mick Jagger.

~212 - Azealia Banks (not much to add on this, banger!)

~Too Close - Alex Close

If you don’t recognise this song from title you will once you hear it, such a forgotten gem.

~Picking up the Pieces - Paloma Faith

Another unique voice that def makes my top ten newly discovered artists this decade is Paloma Faith, her cover of Mama Cass’s Make your own kind of music also deserves a strong mention. Also not related to the music but Paloma is mad as a box of frogs in real life which I love.

~Bangarang- Skrillex

Yeah you’re not leaving alive from this post without a Skrillex nod I’m afraid, not a big dubstep fan but jumped aboard the band wagon when it was big for five minutes, this songs only thing that made it back with me thou.

~Hall of Fame - The Script ft Will.I.Am

First let’s clear this up I’m not a massive Will.I.Am fan or anything, he was just in EVERYTHING for the first few years of the 10’s. It’s a great song regardless.

~Harder then You think - Public Enemy (What a track, can’t say much more, banger.)

~Locked out of Heaven- Bruno Mars

Bruno Mars had some amazing tracks his debut album Doo Wops and Hooligans featured some brilliant tunes which sadly I just didn’t have space for in this countdown, Grenade, lazy song , Just the way you are, but I’m showing some love to Unorthodox Jukebox here and it’s best track giving Bruno Mars a edgier new vibe.

~Chocolate- 1975

Not my sort of music usually but really enjoyed this laid back rock number,

~Get Lucky - Daft Punk ft Pharrell Williams

Disco is back! Or is was in 2013 when this tune came out, one of the biggest selling singles worldwide in the 2010’s so not much more detail needed on its inclusion.

~Let her Go- Passenger

Nice little number, always liked this one, never really got into there other stuff but had to give this a shout out.

~Can’t hold us - Macklemore ft Ryan Lewis

The Heist is one of my fave albums from the last decade features some great tracks, same love and Thrift Shop get a shout out but this track was my fave, uplifting and full of energy.

~La La La - Naughty Boy feat Sam Smith

This was Sam Smith’s big feature hit before they became the successful solo artist they are now. Great track very different to the music Sam does now.

~Work Bitch - Britney Spears

Don’t roll your eyes! This is a banger, now get to work bitch!

~Rap God - Eminem

For Eminem’s big solo feature on this countdown it was between this, The Ringer or Not afraid. You may of guessed I’m a Eminem fan and have tried to keep his entries down but one does not simply do a music countdown and not include Rap God.

~Of the Night - Bastille

Really like this band they have some great hits, Pompeii is another great song of theirs that I didn’t have space to include. I went for this eerie cover version of the Corona 90’s dance classic as my pick.

~Wrecking Ball - Miley Cyrus (Leave me alone it’s a good song ok 😂)

~Riptide- Vance Joy

A little hidden gem I’d forgotten about until I put this list together.

~Who did that to you? - John Legend

Was going to obviously include All of me in this spot but then I remembered this absolute hit from Django unchained which sneaks in and takes the spot. Both great songs thou.

~Nobody to Love - Sigma (Great little dance track not much to add)

~ When the Party’s Over - Billy Eilish

Yes I’m a 35 year old Billy Eilish fan ok leave me alone lol. Seriously thou this girl is super talented and she’s up there in my fave artists of the decade. There will be more of her in my top 25 but this haunting track deserves a mention.

~Turn down for What - DJ Snake ft Lil Jon

It’s Lil Jon yelling really load of course it’s a banger. Also worth mentioning Ice T did a awesome Rap rock version of this song and it’s amazing!

~Problem- Ariana Grane ft Iggy Azalea

Those saxophone’s thou! Groovy little number no explanation needed.

~Chandelier- Sia

Such a power anthem, I came out as trans in 2014 so this song holds a lot of personal meaning with me but regardless is a great song anyway.

~Thinking Out Load - Ed Sheeran

I’m not the biggest Ed Sheeran fan ,take him or most often leave him ,but did like this sweet ballad. Nothing against his voice it’s his songs that don’t often do it for me but this was great.

~Good Kisser- Usher

Never been huge Usher fan ,liked his earlier stuff, confessions and all that. This was a surprise jazzy bluesy type number thou that I really enjoyed.

~Rude- Magic (A catchy sing along tune)

~Zombie - Jamie T

This guy was one of my fave artists of the 00’s, and thou his newest stuff imo doesn’t compare to his older this was still a tune.

~I - Kendrick Lemar

This is actually best when played after the song ‘U’ , the latter being a self hating song ‘loving you Is complicated’ vs I’s ‘I love myself’ different ends of the spectrum I just included ‘I’as you can enjoy that one on its own but to get the best out of that track I highly recommend listening to U first.

~See you again- Wiz Khalifa ft Charlie Puth

A sad song given it’s a tribute to Paul Walker who died in a car accident. Was overplayed a lot at the time but stands strong several years later.

~Dark Times - The Weeked an Ed Sheeran

What a track, their voices mesh perfectly together in this somber number.

~ Trouble - Iggy Azalea ft Jennifer Hudson (Banger)

~Hotline Bling - Drake

So many Drake songs I could of included, (he will appear again in the top 25) gods plan, headlines, in my feelings, nice for what, all absolutely great tracks but I had to go for my personal fave out of the bunch.

~You don’t own me - Grace ft G-Easy

This may be an odd one to some but I’ve always loved the original by Lesley Gore and this is a amazing cover. Grace has a lovely voice (and there is a non rap version if you’re so inclined) Love a good cover version and this is a awesome cover version.

~Side to Side - Ariana Grande ft Nicki Minaj

Hmm guess I’m a Ariana Grande fan, who knew. A cheeky little number and the first appearance in this countdown of a certain fave rapper of mine.

~Panda - Desiigner (another one where there’s not much I need to add, great tune)

~Dancing on my own - Robyn OR Callum Scott

Take your pick the Robyn original or the Callum Scott cover version, both stand alone great tracks, the original more a melancholy dance track the cover a somber ballad. Both brilliant.

~Alarm - Anne-Marie

A nice little pop tune, really like her voice

~Rockabye- Clean Bandit ft Anne-Marie and Sean Paul

Speaking of Anne-Marie, another great pop track. Super catchy sing along. Sean Paul can be hit or miss for me but works well with this track.

~Human - Rag N Bone Man

This is another one there’s not much I can add this guy’s voice is amazing. Brilliant song particularly love the chains you can hear rattling throughout (reminds me of Johnny Cash’s ‘Ain’t no grave’)

~Black Beatles - Rae Stremmurd ft Gucci Mane

Yep that’s some mumble rap to add to the list (told you my music taste was varied) As a whole I don’t love mumble rap but there’s some stand out tracks including this one.

~Thunder- Imagine Dragons

One of my favourite bands from the last decade, like most there stuff. This song has a great song along chorus. Really catchy track.

~New Rules And IDGAF - Dua Lipa

Honestly couldn’t pick from the two really like them both equally. So you get a double. Catchy pop tracks.

~Sorry not Sorry - Demi Lovato

It was between this or Sober (another great Demi track) but ultimately went with the more upbeat pop number.

~Havana - Camila Cabelllo ft Young Thug (A nice chilled Latino style track.)

~Perfect - Ed Sheeran

A beautiful song by Ed Sheeran,other then ‘sing’ and the previous mentions I’m not really into his stuff but this is lovely track.

~Feel it Still - Portugal the Man

Really catchy song can’t help but tap your toes along to it.

~False Alarm- The Weekend

This was something different from the Weekend, really enjoy this song, Weekend is one of my other fave artists to come out the 2010’s.

~Sanctify — Years and years

Wasn’t keen on there earlier dance stuff but when they found there sound I really enjoyed them.

~This is America- Childish Gambino

Great as this song is you really need to watch the music video as well for the song to have its full impact. Love Childish Gambino could of put several of his songs in this list, excited for future music from this guy.

~Solo - Clean Bandit ft Demi Lovato

A cheeky little pop number you can’t help but sing along to.

~Shotgun - George Ezra

One of those artists I can’t decide if I’m into or not, like one song then not keen on the next, it’s strange, but no denying this is a great song.

~Lucid Dreams - Juice WRLD (RIP)

First off Rest in peace Juice, recently died at 21, very sad. The guy was super talented and was looking forward to his future stuff. Could of picked a few tracks but this was the first song I heard of his so that’s got to be my shout out.

~Only You - Cheat Codes ft Little Mix

Although I don’t mind Little Mix this is there only entry on my list. A nice catchy sing along with a dance beat.

~Lost Without You - Freya Ridings

This almost made it into my top 25, just couldn’t find a space for it. Haunting, melodic song with Freya’s stunning vocals. Don’t play this one after a break up or a death.

~Nothing Breaks like a heart- Mark Ronson ft Miley Cyrus

~Someone you loved - Lewis Capaldi

Think this guys going to be another Ed Sheeran for me, meh most the time with the occasional great song. This one no exception.

~Shut Down - Skepta

With lyrics like ‘Ring ring pussy, it’s shut down’ how can it not be a banger 😂 Not the best song in the world I admit but good fun.

~As we enter- Nas and Damian Marley

Words can’t express how much Iove this track, such a hidden gem. A reggae- rap blend of uplifting brilliance. Great gym playlist track.

~Better Now - Post Malone

Another artist I enjoy on occasion. This is my favourite of Malone’s songs so far.

~Bad at Love - Halsey (another great pop track)

~Bitch Don’t kill my vibe- Kendrick Lamar

Could of picked a number of Kendrick tracks King Kunta, DNA, M.a.a.a.d City, If these walls could talk, just to name a few but I’ll go with the first Kendrick track I heard and loved.

~Heartbeat - Childish Gambino

So gutted I couldn’t find a spot for this banger in my 25 but I had to include it on its own. Unless you’re a CG fan it’s unlikely you’ve heard it. Highly recommended a listen. I can’t even really describe it.

~No role Models- J. Cole

A anthem with a similar feel to Keep your head up by 2pac, a sad song somewhat but with a more upbeat tempo. My personal fave J. Cole song.

~Power - Kanye West

Wow our first Kanye track. I like Kanye ,prefer his older stuff. My dark twisted fantasy was the last album of his I really liked. This was a absolute monster of a tune. Also really liked the song Runaway from the same album. Both have great intros.

~Antidote- Travis Scott

~ No Sleep- Wiz Khalifa

Super catchy song, very anthem sounding.

~Young, Wild and Free - Snoop Dogg, Wiz Khalifa and Bruno Mars

Another catchy tune, powerhouse of a team up.

~Rack City - Tyga

~ Romans Revenge- Nicki Minaj ft Eminem

Absolute banger double up from the king and queen of rap. Also a version she did with Lil Wayne which was very good but the Eminem version wins for me. Also will take the opportunity to give the Lil Wayne and Nicki song ‘knockout’ a shoutout.

~Blazin’- Nicki Minaj ft Kanye west

Another great Nicki Minaj track of the brilliant Pink Friday album. I know some of her more recent stuff hasn’t been great but she came out the gates strong in 2010.

~Pound The Alarm - Nicki Minaj

Last Nicki Minaj track I promise, could of picked this or starships as love them both equally.

~Trap Queen- Fetty Wap

Can’t lie this is something I never thought I’d like but the more I heard it the more I liked it.

~Ultimate- Denzel Curry

Yes the Vine meme song. Banger.

~Bad and Boujee - Migos

Yes more mumble rap, I’m not even sorry

~I’m not racist - Joyner Lucas

Wow maybe the most powerful song on this whole list. Nothing I explain can do it justice you have to give it a listen yourself (with the video)

~Cry Little Sister - Marilyn Manson

Boom, rap to rock just like that. I love Marilyn Manson covers, in the 00’s it was Tainted Love but this time around its this classic from The Lost Boys soundtrack. Creepy song but kinda perfect for Manson.

~Faster- Within Temptation

~End of Time - Beyoncé

Have to include some Beyoncé before this ends it’s the law. This was my favourite of hers.

~ Rumour has it - Adele

Not the biggest Adele fan but she has a few songs I enjoy, set fire to the rain and someone like you also good songs.

~Ugly Boy - Die Anwoord

Yep he’s a Die Antwoord fan 😆 I have no excuses, DA are one of my fave bands. Zef to death.

Absolutely stupid lyrics but hilarious (need to watch the video also) it’s actually a good song with a awesome beat.

To close the top 100 greatest songs of the decade out , some J-pop, I’m not a expert on Jpop I like a couple of artists and a few songs but had to close out with this... bang bang banger!

So here we go top 25 of my absolute faves from the 2010’s. (in no particular order)

~Radioactive- Image Dragons

This song featured in a Assassins creed game trailer (I forget which game) and I searched for it straight away, found it, fell in love, the rest is history. Great beat and vocals.

~Game Over - Tinchy Stryder, Tinie Tempah, Professor Green, Giggs, Devlin, Example, Chip

Wow with that line up it was always going to be a banger. This might be my fave beat ever! Such a tune featuring Rap and grime mvp’s from the UK.

~Gods and Monsters- Lana Del Ray

I know I said in no order but this might be my very favourite song from the last ten years. It’s not even regarded as Lana’s best but I just love everything about it, lyrics, melody and vocals. Perfect song.

~Born to Die - Lana Del Ray

Another melodic masterpiece from Lana Del Ray.

~Bad Girls - M.I.A

Yeah I’m a dude it’s weird this song gets me pumped seriously thou such a catchy song.

~In Paris - Kanye West and Jay -Z

Not much needs to be said, absolute classic.

~Over - Drake

Drake at his best imo, great beat, delivery and lyrics. My fave Drake song.

~Black Skin Head - Kanye West

Powerful song with a amazing beat, powerful lyrics, great gym song to get you pumped.

~Sail - AWOL Nation

You might have guessed by now I like a catchy sing along song with a pumping beat and somber tone. Check.

~Only love can hurt like this - Paloma Faith

Her voice in this is something else. I said it before Paloma Faith is so underrated.

~Bang Bang - Jessie J, Ariana Grande, Nicki Minaj

Not to be mistaken for Bang bang bang by big bang featured earlier. Great pop hit.

~Take me to church- Hozier

To be fair, you weren't dancing for her. You were just cleaning the house (because being the partner of a powerful witch didn't mean living in a dusty cave, thank you very much) with music blaring and your body couldn't help but move to the beat of the song.

Unfortunately for you, your wife has a habit of appearing out of nowhere at the best/worst of times and she caught you right in the middle of your imaginary concert. When you heard her laugh and saw her leaning against the door frame, you blushed deeply. Agatha will never let you live with this and you knew it.

Months later, when you were fulfilling your role as Agnes's roommate at Westview, the brunette still liked to embarrass you in front of Wanda, telling her how from time to time you "delighted her with fine and elegant dances."

Olivia Octavius:

She doesn't like to be interrupted while working and you know it. But from time to time you must intervene to distract her and make her eat something or rest a little. Unfortunately, the scientist can be quite stubborn and you have to get creative.

When you walked into the lab that night, Liv definitely didn't expect you to swivel her chair around to make her look as you danced sensually in front of her. Now, that was definitely a good distraction and you actually managed to drag her to bed...although not exactly to sleep

Sweet robo-wife, too pure and evil for this chaotic human world. In fact, you were teaching her to dance. Ursula might have all the knowledge of the internet at her fingertips, but she preferred when you took the time to teach her things, simply because she liked being with you and being the center of your attention.

The poor woman was still getting used to her new life with you and the idea of having more freedom now that Shep was out of the picture. So when you walked into the living room after dropping the kids off at school and started dancing on her lap, she couldn't help but look away from you and blush furiously. Olivia Octavius:

The news covered the disappearance of Doctor Octavius' fiance, but she knew that it had to be something about Doc Ock. Being a well-known scientist, she had the luck of this being treated like a priority by the police, but it wasn't enough for her. She needed to know you were fine, she needed you to appear as soon as possible. So, she did her own search. After a week without news about you, she did something she never thought she'd do. She called May for help.

Fortunately, the Old Woman was very helpful and a truce was called between Doc Ock and Spiderman while they found you. It was a surprise to everyone but May when they finally found you and Liv threw herself at you, looking so frail and scared. May always knew that the woman who was once her best friend was still in there. You are never allowed to scare her like that again.

Carla Dunkler:

From the moment you disappeared, she was glued to the phone, in case you called or the police had any news about you. It was torture for her to answer and not hear your voice, so Amy and Kiki got used to going to her house instead of calling her.

When a call finally came from the police saying they had found you, she didn't even hang up, she just ran out the door (Amy had to stop her, she couldn't drive like that). From the moment she saw you, she cried on your shoulder and held you tighter than ever.

Eve Fletcher:

The shocking thing for you was that it was Brendan and Julian who found you. Those two hated each other to death and you weren't especially close to your stepson, but the relief of being rescued was more and the hug he gave you was the first step to a better relationship between you.

When Eve opened the door and saw her son teary-eyed but smiling, she was confused. Then Brendan stepped aside and she saw you and the world stopped. She didn't believe you were real until you threw yourself into her arms. You could feel her thinner, she didn't eat well in all the time you were missing.

Never scare her like that again, for God's sake.

Jennifer Barkley:

HOW. DARE. YOU?

How dare you scare her like that? Do you have any idea of terror that this woman lived when you disappeared? The helplessness she felt with each call from the kidnappers? It was a blessing that the police and special detectives she hired found you so quickly and she will make sure that the idiots who hurt you go to jail and stay there for the rest of their lives.

As soon as she saw you, she didn't let you out of her sight again. Forget about your job, she would have you by her side all the time. 24/7. At night, she will hug you tightly, afraid of losing you again.

You wouldn't even have time to react before the purple smoke enveloped you. It's one thing to make her jealous, it's another thing that you actually flirted with someone else on purpose.

Okay, okay. In your defense, you really needed a quick Doc Ock appearance here. And there was no faster way to call her than flirting with someone else. Later you would apologize to the victim...or maybe not. It depended on who it was.

But if we're talking about you flirting with someone on Alchemax...well, your girlfriend's alter ego wasn't a secret to anyone there and if they flirted back, let's just say you'd have to help find someone who could replace them. Now, you better just do it to make her jealous and that's it, that you had no real intentions with them because if that was the case, you'd better find another job, another house, and probably another city to live in, quickly.

Ursula Gernsback:

This can go one of two ways. Both tragic.

She can a) reactivate her killer system and finish off that poor soul right then and there. Or b) she can activate her self-destruction, because what's the point of continuing to exist if the only person who really made her feel something beyond her programming stabbed her in the back?

Either way, you will end up with a lifeless body in your arms. So...yeah, better not do it.

It was an innocent joke! You just put a bucket of water over the door’s frame so she’d get wet the moment she walked through the door. But of course, you forgot one little, tiny detail…Jen hated getting wet, or dirty, or anything other than “perfectly presentable”, even if it was just the two of you.

“I am sorry!!” you yelled back.

You got to your room and tried to close the door, but she was faster and pushed you, getting in with you. You gulped when you saw her frowning and locking the door before looking at you with fire in her eyes. You had to turn your head to avoid looking at her chest.

Jen approached you and grabbed your hips tightly, making you hiss a little.

“You’re so paying for this” she growled

“I’m sorry, I’m sorry, I’m sorry” you squealed “It’s just that you keep coming home all tired and stressed and I just wanted to make you laugh and relax! I didn’t think things well. I am so sorry, Jen”

The brunette just watched you babbling, a small smile appearing on her lips. She loved how cute and sweet you were and even if she hated her suit getting wet, she felt lucky to have someone who worries for her enough to risk their life.

“You’re in many, many troubles” she said, pushing you until your legs hit the border of the bed

She took you in her arms and felt the tears pool in her eyes as she frantically searched for your pulse. She let out a sigh of relief when you started to open your eyes and the apologies quickly fell from her lips. She deeply apologized to you, she promised to be more careful, she even promised not to use magic around you.

Nothing could prepare her for the moment when your cold gaze fell on her and you looked at her confused. Your words pierced her like a dagger.

She had told you to stay away from the battle!! For once in your life, couldn't you have listened to her?! Liv knew you were stubborn, that there was no divine force to stop you when you set out to do something, but damn, did you have to be so stupid?!

She hadn't meant to hurt you, but she hadn't seen you either if she was honest. She had been too busy with the spiders to notice you. Spiderman and herself had launched their attacks at the same time, but you had appeared out of nowhere, standing between the webs and causing her own tentacle to hit you.

The worst? It had been charged with energy. The electroshock that you had helped to integrate into the suit had hit you. Liv ran up to you.

Unfortunately, she was late.

The spiders simply heard the scientist's cry of pain, before Doc Ock left, with your body in her arms. Days later, the news of the death of Dr. Y/L/N spread quickly.

Interestingly, Doc Ock didn’t appear again, and the remains of a destroyed suit were found by May Parker.

Ursula Gernsback:

She hadn't wanted to do it, really! Please believe it. She hadn't wanted to hurt you!

Ursula had asked your help to repair a cable on her arm that she had disconnected when she carried some too heavy boxes. The two of you had been talking quietly in your garage while she sat on a metal table with her arm open so you could reconnect.

She didn't think her question would make you look up at her face. She hadn't believed you would be distracted like this. It hadn't been her intention for you to touch the wrong spot and for her defense system to send an electric current towards you. She hadn't wanted to electrocute you.

But she had, and she was terrified.

She had you currently had against her chest, careful not to hurt you further. I could feel your heart beating, but it was weak. I couldn't call an ambulance without risking being discovered for what she was, a robot, and I couldn't do much to carry you when one of her arms was still disconnected.

"Please don't leave me human" she begged "I promise to be good. I know I can be. I promise not to do it again...I didn’t want this to happen, I just wanted you to go out with me on a date"

Carla Dunkler:

You had been in the wrong place, at the wrong time.

When Ty had shown up on your doorstep with the intention of getting Carla back, you hadn't expected the older woman to react so aggressively. Sure, you knew what that poor excuse of a man had done to her, you wanted to gouge his eyes out yourself, but you didn't expect your girlfriend to get ahead of you.

After the first hit, you knew you had to interfere before things escalated and some neighbor called the police. So you stepped in front of her to calm her down, a stupid mistake, now that you thought about it. You moved faster than Carla could register and the heavy blow aimed at Ty met your chest.

Things fell silent for a moment, as you hugged yourself in pain. Ty must have known that a scared Carla was more dangerous than an angry Carla because he quickly fled the scene.

Your girlfriend took you inside quickly, apologies pouring uncontrollably from her lips. Something weird for her, really. Once she made sure you were okay and she apologized once more, she put some distance between you. She was so ashamed and sorry. It took you days to get her to talk to you again.

Eve Fletcher:

Note to self: Never mention Eve Fletcher's son again. Never. In your life, you ever say his name again.

The boy had been the stone in your shoe since you started dating his mother. Not only was he an idiot to you, undressing you with his eyes every time Eve turned around, but he was tremendously rude to her. You hated the way he made her feel less, just to look better himself.

You usually ignored him, at Eve's request, but when he had crossed the line and commented on how he would have been a better fit for you, and how he could please you in bed better than his mother, you just...you had lost it. You were only trying to defend your girlfriend.

You had let him know what kind of disgusting person he was for thinking that the only thing that mattered in life was sex and how many people he did it with. You told him that your relationship with Eve went beyond such an immature and erroneous view of love. But you couldn't finish when you felt a burning on your cheek.

It took you a few moments to realize that you had been slapped. Worse, it had been Eve.

The three of you fell silent as the actions registered in Eve's mind. She had hit you. Instead of trying to calm you down, she had hit you. She hadn't wanted to, just...she wanted you to stop, not to talk to her son like that.

Brendan looked lost and, a little (very, very little) regretful. And you...you just ran away. You didn't hear Eve's screams, you didn't even want to see her. You felt so betrayed, so humiliated.

Eve tried to call you. She even had a fight with Brendan after you left. She had tried to apologize to you, while guilt settled deep in her stomach. But there was no way you would hear her. You were determined to avoid her.

Eve could accept it, she deserved it. She just hoped that, with time, you would give her a chance to fix things.

Jennifer Barkley:

Hurting someone doesn't always mean hitting them. Sometimes the worst wounds are those that cannot be seen, but that burrow deep into your soul. They don't bleed, but they don't close either, not quite.

You knew what you were getting into when you started dating Jennifer. She was a woman with a solid reputation, you knew that she was firm, that she couldn't stand foolishness, that sometimes she could be too stubborn. And still, you loved her.

But one can only love fire so much before burning.

By now, it didn't even matter why you fought in the first place. All you could think of were the cruel words Jen had yelled in your face. The way they destroyed you. She made you feel so small, so fragile, so useless. As if everything you had lived with her was a lie.

You didn't even move when there was a knock on your bedroom door.

"Y/N" you heard Jen calling you softly "Please open up...I'm really sorry"

When you didn't answer, the woman sighed and rested her forehead on the cold wood for a few moments. She knew that she had screwed up, that she had hurt you in the worst way. She had promised to protect you from the demons of your past life and yet here she was, stabbing you with the same daggers as the people before her.

The next morning, she found the door open, but she was terrified to enter because she knew the sight that she would receive. On the freshly made bed was a letter. Jen didn't even have to open it to know what is said. The absence of your things was enough to know that she had lost you.

She was now only another ghost haunting you.

Delta Simmons:

Accidents in the theater were, unfortunately, quite common. You could almost say they were the bread and butter. Some chair that was breaking, some loose board, a badly tied rope. The danger was around every corner, but you lived with it so much that it was easy to forget about it. Sometimes, you only needed to be standing a few inches further than you should, to be hit with a prop arrow. It didn't have a sharp point, but it was enough to hurt your side.

You could hear Delta's gasp as you fell to your knees, holding your side tightly. There was already blood gushing from the wound. The older woman could hear the bustle around her, people running, someone calling the ambulance, someone else taking the bow from her hands.

Everything happened too fast for her. One moment she was holding you in her arms and the next she was holding your hand while you were both in an ambulance.

"I'm sorry, I'm sorry, I'm sorry" Delta cried "I'm really sorry, love"

"Hey, it’s ok okay" you smiled weakly "At least we know you're good with the bow"

That was the last joke you ever made before you lost your life in a cold hospital room. Delta didn't even care about the entire legal process that she had to go through, the only thing on her mind was, that you were no longer by her side.

Milly Campbell:

Keeping up appearances was exhausting and painful. But you knew it was necessary if you wanted to stay by Milly's side. Two women being best friends was nothing strange. Two women more than friends, it was an aberration for society. So you kept the illusion of being friends, painful as it was.

But you hadn't anticipated how painful it would be to hear the woman you loved referring to you as just a friendly neighbor. You didn't even have friend status now? The worst thing was that Milly didn't even seem to notice you in the room (even though you had been the first to arrive to help her get everything ready). It was painful and cruel.

Milly tried not to frown when she saw you leave the house. She didn't want to attract prying eyes, but she couldn't help but feel worried about your sudden escape. When you didn't come back later, or even at night, she knew something was wrong.

Milly hated leaving the kids alone, so she decided to call you. It was by far the worst phone call of her life. She had no idea that she had hurt you so much, it was not her intention. She had simply been playing the role that was expected of her, but now she understood how cruel her words had been. Milly cried, begging you to forgive her, but she was only greeted by the sharp beep of a terminated call.

Agatha Harkness:

She would be amused. She finds it incredibly cute the way you...think she’s going to let you put a six-foot Santa on her roof. Nope, she’s not having this nonsense. You might get upset and a little hurt when she uses her magic to disappear it all, but she promises to put it back exactly the way you did, but on december 1st.

Olivia Octavius:

For some reason, she’s not surprised. At all. Maybe it’s the fact that she hasn’t slept well in days, or that she has been dating you enough time to know you’d do something like this, either way, she just rolls her eyes and enters, accepting the eggnog you offered her the moment she put a foot on the house. Even Doc Ock knows there are battles that are better not to fight.

Ursula Gernsback:

If you wanted to cause her a short circuit, you did it. Ursula is surprised when she comes home and finds everything decorated. She can't understand why you would be putting up Christmas lights when it was just November 1st. Does she have the wrong date? Christmas was not December 25? Was it already December 25 and her internal clock was more than a month behind?!

Carla Dunkler:

Carla would grunt and curse you under her breath. The last thing she expected to find when she got home was this. She didn't even know if she was mad at you for turning her house into the fucking north pole, or because you looked so damn adorable while doing it. Either way, she would try to make you take some things away, failing miserably, and then she would complain about it every single day. 

"If I have to put up with this between now and December, you'll have to hear me complain about it all the way there."

Eve Fletcher:

Eve would be surprised and slightly amused. She wasn't sure where you got all this from, but she hoped it was legal. She would laugh a little and try to make you take it off, it was too early for this, but she would easily give up and accept that the holidays had come to her house a month earlier. At least you seemed happy

Jennifer Barkley:

"Y/N Y/L/N!! YOU ARE IN SO MUCH TROUBLE!!"

You laughed at your fiancée's reaction when she walked into her apartment and she was greeted by a huge, half-decorated Christmas tree.

"Awww come on Jen, I even waited for you to put the star!" you said

"Clean this up right now!"

"Why?"

"Why? Oh, I don't know, maybe because it's been November 1st for just a few hours, you monster!!"

Delta Simmons:

Delta was probably the one with the idea. Not directly, but she once told you about the time she had decorated her parents' house for the holidays a month earlier, which practically opened the doors for you to do so. Delta found it quite amusing and she would even comment on where the remaining decorations should go.

Milly Campbell:

Milly would help you. She looked at you confused the moment she saw you decorating the house a month too early, but the smile on your face told her there was no going back on this so she just accepted her fate and walked over to you, grabbing some decorations and getting to work. She didn't care what the neighbors would say. People already said many things about you two, what did it matter to add something else?

"You said you wanted to know more about my past" Agatha replied simply.

"I was expecting more a story, not a trip to your memory" you admitted "Although, to be fair last night I also expected pasta for dinner, not sandwiches stolen from Wanda's kitchen" you murmured

The brunette had the nerve to laugh, not bothering to pretend that she hadn't heard you. Shameless witch.

"Now pay attention dear" she ordered you, pointing to the approaching witches.

For the next few minutes (it seemed like hours to you), you witnessed the entire trial of Agatha Harkness and the murder of her entire coven. You were stunned. It was an impressive story, of course, but...maybe you weren't paying attention to what was really important.

"Go back a bit" you asked, making your girlfriend go back to the part where her younger self was tied in the stage.

Agatha froze the scene, watching curiously as you approached. She had noticed from the start how fascinated you were with her younger self.

"Aggie...YOU ARE SO CUTE!!!" You finally screamed "Look at you!! So little and pretty and adorable"

Ok...she wasn't expecting that. A part of her was proud that you found her cute, but then...

"Baby witch doo doo doo doo doo doo, baby witch doo doo doo doo doo doo, baby witch doo doo doo doo doo doo, baby witch!" you sang

Agatha already regretted showing you this.

Olivia Octavius:

"LIVY!!!" You yelled, running to your girlfriend's study.

The scientist immediately pushed aside the project she was working on, knowing perfectly well that once you used that tone, there was nothing to stop you from jumping into her arms. Liv wasn't complaining, but it was better to be cautious.

"LOOK, LOOK, LOOK!" You squealed happily, throwing yourself into the older woman's lap

"What is that, Y/N?" she asked, wrapping her arms around your waist

"A LITTLE LIV!!" You smiled as you showed her the paper on your hand.

Liv froze when she saw that it was that damn photo from kindergarten, where she was dressed as an octopus.

"Where did you get that?!" she hissed

"I cleaned the attic" you answered simply "Look at your little cheeks!!! You were so adorable! And your glasses!!! Awwww I can't!!"

Liv rolled her eyes as you continued babbling about the photo. She tried to look nonchalant, but the blush on her cheeks gave her away.

Carla Dunkler:

Carla was suspicious before opening the door of her house. Her mother was visiting and the brunette didn’t trust the laughter that was heard up the street.

"What are you doing?" she asked immediately as she walked in

"I'm doing my job as a mother" Isis said maliciously "I'm embarrassing you in front of your girlfriend"

"What-"

And then she saw it. Carla saw the photograph in your hand. It was a very old one, from when she was barely 3 or 4 years old, she was dressed as a bee. Dammit. She didn't even know that her mother still had that!

"Look at this cute little baby!!" you laughed "awwww since you were little you were already the cutest thing in the world, my precious bee!!"

"Give me that!" Carla grunted and tried to snatch the photo from you while she cursed Isis.

But you were faster and you stood up in one jump, taking your hand away from her grasp.

"Y/N" she told you in a warning tone

"Back off, Dunkler! Your mother gave it to me, it's mine now" you said with a sly smile "I'm going to frame it and put it on my desk"

"Absolutely not!" she said horrified "Give it to me!"

"It's mine!"

Isis laughed out loud as she watched as Carla chased you around the house to snatch the photograph from you. She did not mention that you had already taken your precautions and taken a photo with your cell phone, in case your girlfriend tried to disappear the original.

The older woman was grateful that her daughter had found you. Even with all the screaming and false cursing between you, this felt like home.

Eve Fletcher:

"What have you got there?" Eve asked as she approached you.

You were sitting on the floor with several boxes scattered around you. It had been clean-up day and Eve had given you permission to check the things, in case you could find something to donate.

She didn't expect you to find that.

"I'm crying" you said "Look at this precious baby! All plump and precious!!"

Eve blushed deeply as you showed her the photograph. She was mortified and nervous. It wasn't a particularly embarrassing photograph, but your reaction made her a bit shy.

"Can I keep it?" you suddenly asked.

Eve blinked and looked at you in surprise. Okay, she was NOT expecting that. Part of her wanted to tell you that it might not be a good idea, but most of her found it secretly cute. So she let you keep it.

"Thank you thank you thank you!!" you squaled, getting up to hug her tightly.

Jennifer Barkley:

You were in trouble and you knew it. But did you care? Nope, not in the least and your girlfriend knew it.

You had had an accident a couple of days ago, so the brunette had forbidden you to go to work until you fully recovered. She wasn't going to admit yet that she loved coming home knowing you were there.

However, when Jen came home that afternoon, she didn't expect to find you lying on the bed with an old photo album in front of you. She initially didn't pay much attention to it, she just greeted you and went to change her clothes. But when she came back and leaned in to give you a kiss, she could see exactly which album it was.

"Where did you get this from?!" she almost screamed, snatching the book from your hands.

"You told me to find something to distract me while you went to work" you shrugged "So I cleaned the shelves upstairs"

Oh no, upstairs. Jen had a room there where she kept things from an almost forgotten and distant past life.

"Wait, did you exert yourself?" she scolded you

"Nah, to be honest I was just getting started when I found that, and I immediately stopped to look at the pictures" you admitted without remorse "You were such a chubby and beautiful baby"

You almost laughed at the blush on the older woman's pretty face.

"Of course i was beautiful" Jen cleared her throat "But don't go snooping around my stuff without permission"

"Okay" you nodded "...can I keep this?"

"Definitely not. And you better don’t mention this to anyone"

"Awww, but Jen!" you pouted "my leg still hurts from the accident, and your baby cuteness made me feel better. Don't you want me to feel better?"

"That's not going to work, Y/N" Jen said "Now get up, I brought dinner" she added, leaving the room with the photo and the album.

You smiled to yourself and looked at your cell phone screen. You would never tell your girlfriend, but you had a whole folder with photos from the album.

Delta Simmons:

Finding you with that old pic was not something Delta expected when she entered your shared room. It was the weekend, which meant the kids were with their father so you decided your girlfriend should take a well deserved rest and you offered to clean for her. Delta tried to fight, but eventually agreed and let you clean the attic. 

“What's that?” she asked

“Look at how cute you were!!” you squealed and showed her the photo.

Delta blinked and was silent for a few seconds before she laughed and sat next to you. 

“Oh dear, I haven’t seen this old thing in years!” she giggled.

Your girlfriend was quick to tell you everything about that pic and the story behind it, seeming really proud of the silliness. She knew she was cute, thank you very much. It made you feel so loved, knowing she trusted you enough to tell you all of it.

Milly Campbell:

“Excuse me” you said when Milly entered your shared room

“Yes?” she raised her eyebrow. You had that smile that always told her when you were about to do something.

“HOW ARE YOU THIS CUTE?!” you screamed and she finally noticed the piece of paper on your hand

It was an old photo of when she was a baby. She didn’t have much of those, given that her family didn’t have much money when she was growing up, so having a camera was a big no and pictures were a rare thing. But she still had some.

She was surprised that you found that old thing but quickly sat down next to you and told you the whole story. It was so nice hearing her so happy, remembering all her childhood adventures. She even showed you more pics.

You two spent hours lying on the bed while Milly told you all kinds of stories and even showed you her whole album. It was a nice moment and she lets you see them again anytime.

Olivia knows that she has no right to judge your sleep habits. She herself has a terrible sleep schedule due to her work and her curious nature. She but she cares about you and tries to send you to sleep at the same time every day, hoping that little by little a healthy routine will be created for you.

Ursula Gernsback:

"Human, please go to sleep!"

"Human, it's been more than 8 hours...are you dead?"

Listen, this poor robot woman had never known greater stress in her life than having to take care of a human whose sleep schedule was so varied and chaotic. You were lucky she loved you.

Carla Dunkler:

Carla knows that she is the last person who could help in the best way, but she still tries for you. At first, she would try to seduce you into bed, but if the insomnia is too bad, she would just stay with you until you inevitably fell asleep on her shoulder.

Eve Fletcher:

Eve worries terribly about your sleep schedule. She hurts to see you so bad and not be able to help you as she would like. She would offer you tea and blankets, trying to create a cozy environment that invites you to sleep.

Jennifer Barkley:

Surprisingly, Jen is the best person you could go to about this. She understands that it is not an easy thing to deal with and she is deeply patient with you. She would take you to experts (if you let her) and would be with you every step of the way. On your worst nights, Jen would stay up with you and she would hold you tight. She is the best at everything, and you are everything to her.

How they apologize after a fight (KH’s characters)

Agatha Harkness:

She...doesn’t. Not at first. 

Agatha is a stubborn woman and always believes she is right. It's only a matter of time before you see things like her...right?

It takes her a little time (and you being cold and distant to her) to realize that she really hurt you. Her guilt would hit her quickly and the powerful witch would face one of the greatest challenges of her life: apologizing.

At first, she would try to act casual, but when that doesn't work, she uses her magic. She doesn't try to control you or anything (Wanda's spell has shown her the horrible torture that it can be), she just does little magic tricks, like your favorite food appearing in front of you or little purple butterflies flying around you.

You know that Agatha hates using her magic for something that she doesn't consider "worthy", so the fact that she bothers to do little things for you, shows you that she really is sorry.

Olivia Octavius:

Liv would give you space for the two of you to calm down. She knows that she hurt you and she is the first to admit (albeit reluctantly) that she is the one who is wrong here.

But she also knows that it is better not to pressure you, it does not matter how much she wants to be on good terms with you again. She would leave you little notes on your work and she would silently help you with your projects but she will wait for you to stop looking at her as if you wanted to pass a knife through her neck before trying to strike up a conversation with you to apologize.

Doc Ock is totally out of the table here, this is an Olivia and Y/N thing.

Ursula Gernsback:

Ursula, bless her heart, still doesn't understand many things about humans. But still, she knows, or rather, can feel, how much she hurt you.

In another time, she probably wouldn't have cared one bit what a simple human like you might feel, she was programmed to cheat, lie and kill if necessary, anything to get those pins. But her time with you, away from Hugo, Athena, and Tomorrowland, had changed her.

Thanks to you, she discovered that she could take control of herself, configure her systems and remake her entire program. She could be a little bit more human. That had many advantages that the woman enjoyed, but it also brought disadvantages. One of them: she could be empathetic and that brought pain.

Ursula hated to see you upset and it hurt to know that she had been the cause. She would never, ever, ever hurt you on purpose, but now that she had, she had no idea what to do. When she didn't understand something or she needed help, she would come to you, but that option was not available at the moment.

Terrified of what might happen between you if she didn't resolve this, she tried searching the internet for options to apologize. In the end, she decided it was best to write you a letter. You told her that when her voice failed, writing her thoughts could help. And she hoped this would prove it, that you would understand how much she was sorry and how much she loved you.

Carla Dunkler:

Words had never been Carla's strong suit. Neither is apologizing.

She was used to doing what she wanted, facing whatever life threw at her and never receiving or apologizing for it. But with you everything was different. You had come to turn her entire life upside down and from one moment to the next she found herself worrying about apologizing. She knew the fight had been her fault, but the only other person she had ever had to apologize to was Jackson.

So she decided to do the same thing she did when she needed to apologize to her son: make you laugh.

Carla would try by all means is to break your armor of anger and make you laugh. Sometimes, she would only get a fleeting smile that you would quickly hide, but it was enough to know that she was on the right track. The moment she finally got a laugh out of you, she would finally hug you and whisper an apology into your ear.

Eve Fletcher:

Fights with Eve were rare and distant. They were one of those rare events that you never expect, that you don't worry about, but when they come, they come as a surprise, strong and hard.

Usually, it was you who apologized first, but when Eve was the one who caused the argument (usually over issues involving Brendan or Ted), she’d be quick to apologize.

Sure, she would give you a bit of room to calm down, but once she was sure there was no second round coming, Eve would sit next to you and talk to you honestly. She never liked leaving a stone between the two of you.

Jennifer Barkley: 

Jennifer was always sure that she was right about everything. Her work and her entire life were based on it, so don't expect her to realize right away that she was the wrong one.

Usually, she would just wait for you to get over it and act as nothing happened, maybe even laughing about it, but if it was something really serious, that she really saw how much it hurt you, you can be sure that she would do her best to make it up to you.

Has someone ever given you a stuffed animal or some chocolates as a peace offering? Well, Jen would give you the whole factory. She would spare no expense to see you smile again and let you know that she was really sorry.

Delta Simmons:

Delta was an established actress, she lived for the theater, which meant that sometimes she just couldn't separate the drama from her life. This usually led to your discussions rapidly escalating and getting out of hand.

She was the first to admit that she could be very dramatic at times, but you had signed on for it when you married her. You knew what you were sticking to.

Still, Delta was also a woman who could step into someone else's shoes, and she was quickly trying to see things from your perspective, realizing how much she had hurt you. She would try to talk to you, but just in case, the children would help her break your shield, bringing you little gifts in her name. Low movement perhaps, but effective.

Milly Campbell:

You hated fighting with Milly. It was rare, but you still had your differences from time to time. The hard part was not the fight itself, but what came next. If it was your fault, you immediately apologized, but if it was her fault...

Look, Milly had been through a terrible marriage to Shep, okay? And it had left her painful memories. So when you argued, she always thought it was her fault, but in the moments when she really hurt you, she would punish herself for days if you didn't stop her.

She would cook your favorite food for you the day after the argument, as a silent way of asking your forgiveness. She would give you space for a while and then she would try to talk to you about it and it would seem like everything was fine, but you could hear her cry at night or notice how she stopped eating. You knew Milly was afraid you would abandon her like Shep, and it hurt you to see her punish herself like that.
