Part 1
Edward Kenway is often away on business, so Y/N and the children are often alone with their servant.
Jenny and Haytham feel abandoned by their father, Jenny wants to spend time with her father again like before her father remarried Haytham's mother, she has the impression of not being part of the family, Haytham has the impression that his father does not love him and he is jealous of his sister who she sailed with their father, he misses his mother terribly.
Y/N tries to satisfy the children as best she can, despite the absence of a father which is the main cause of their bad mood.

Random Templar: Aren't you embarrassed about being related to two assassins? Haytham: honestly, I'm more embarrassed about being related to Jenny. *Jenny walks in covered in blood and offers no explanation*

The templar necklace that Elise has was a gift from haythams older sister Jennifer. Jennifer received it in one of the many letters haytham sent her, and while Elise was meeting with Jennifer, she gave the necklace to Elise as a gift.

One more idea with the Kenways (look I ended up binging Kaniehtí:io content so I’m a bit fixated) Haytham still leaves Kaniehtí:io but he decides to leave the Templars too, just kinda integrating into “normal” society for a while, and Ratonhnhaké:ton meets him but not as enemies.
I can’t explain it but I read this and immediately imagined Haytham as a baker XD
Like, not even in Davenport Manor. Just a simple baker in New York.
Why?
Maybe when he was a child, Jenny taught him how to bake.
And so…
Tumblr media
We’ll set this up that Haytham found out where Jenny was being held but he was ‘advised’ by other Grand Masters to forget about Jenny.
It’s not that Haytham retired.
It’s that… he may or may not have killed other Grand Masters who showed resistance to his plan to save his sister.
No one can prove anything.
They went to the colonies afterwards because Jenny doesn’t want to return to London.
They don’t talk about Haytham’s past as a Templar, of course.
The important thing is for Jenny to heal.
And baking helps.
Unfortunately, baking costs money so they needed to open a bakery where the ‘menu’ depends on Jenny’s mood. Haytham mostly handles the administrative side of things and the… supply chain side.
But sometimes he bakes with Jenny. It helps keep her grounded and it helps him…
Well…
Not heal but it helps him feel more content with his life right now.
So when Ratonhnhaké:ton entered the bakery one day, clad in the robes of an Assassin, Haytham knew it was just a matter of time before the Brotherhood found him. He was more surprised it took them this long, to be honest.
He wasn’t expecting…
“Father?”
.
Achilles still told him about Haytham and even showed him Haytham’s portrait. What Achilles knows about Haytham is that he disappeared after a string of murder of high ranking Templars happened. Whether this happened before or after Rogue is up to you XD
If you want Haytham to leave before Rogue but Shay still defected, Shay defected because of George Monro’s death and Charles Lee would be his ‘supervisor’ (it’s more like a buddy-cop duo type of relationship)

Mind sharing some Ezio, Ziio, Shay and Edward Hcs?
Sofia and Claudia got along like sisters (idk I think this might actually be canon).
Ezio encouraged Flavia to be spirited and curious, and sees himself in her and the way she takes care of Marcello. If Ezio had lived to see her to adulthood, he would have been protective but let her choose her own husband.
Ezio wanted to keep his Assassin activities a secret from his children. After he died, Claudia took them in and trained them herself the way their Uncle Mario did for them.
Ziio and Oiá:ner's interactions became stilted after the birth of Ratohnhaké:ton. There was no doubt that the love was there, but Oiá:ner could not quite look at her the same again, and she had to busy herself with finding someone else to groom as successor. They were finally warming up to each other again just a year or so before Ziio died.
Oiá:ner put full trust into Ratohnhaké:ton and his decision-making going forward because she didn't want to drive a wedge between herself and her grandson the way she did with Ziio. And it was the hardest thing she ever had to do.
Modern-day Ziio would have been a leader in the stand-offs against the Canadian government and localities like the Kanehsatà:ke Resistance, which her voice actor Tiio Horn was actually in. My headcanon Ziio has a lot of Tiio Horn's traits, mostly because Tiio Horn's sass that I see in her social media comes through a lot in her voice acting for Ziio.
Ratohnhaké:ton's a BEAST at lacrosse. Man moves like WATER.
Shay died peacefully in a manner similar to Ezio's -- in a garden, watching his family.
Shay most definitely was the black sheep amongst the Templars -- not just because a traitor gets no trust from any side, but because he's Irish and many other Templars were Englishmen who were racist against him. Adéwalé called him Haytham's hunting dog, but the Templars thought the same of him.
Because of this, Shay was that high-achieving Templar the others resented, because they hated the idea of being outdone by someone they felt was lesser. They kept their distance from each other, and his friends in the Order were kept in a tight circle -- Jack Weeks, Gist, and Haytham.
That's also why Cudgel was so fiercely proud of his grandfather later on too -- despite the racism, he was more Templar than any of them.
Also, Lil Cudge seems to me like that kind of guy who in modern day would insist that the Irish were slaves. He seems to me like someone who's very loyal, but but blindly so, and someone who doesn't question tradition.
Edward wanted to raise Haytham as English as possible, but he'd occasionally slip up and curse in Welsh at times. Haytham would grow up with only vague memories of the Welsh part of his heritage.
Edward was a rambunctious lil youngster who didn't need any dogs to herd the sheep. The wolves were scared of HIM lol.
Edward's relationship with Jenny haunts my dreams. What happened in the years between her and Haytham's birth. The people need to know.
I wrote a whole other word vomit post expressing my guess that he didn't want her to get involved in the Assassin world because he wanted to protect his last memory of Caroline. He believed in being honest with your child, so she knew everything about his activities. But given that Caroline had already been disowned because of him and even now that he was a new money gentleman, he was a social pariah because of his pirate past, he wanted Jenny to live a noblewoman's life -- marry a man of good social standing and be a good wife. And although she protested, he always thought he knew what was best for her.
If Jenny knew about her brother's child and ever met him, she honestly would've adored him. Such a polite, well-loved young man. She would've been relieved that he was raised right by his mother's side, away from the Kenway drama. Thank God all he had in common with her side of the family was blood, but if she could have chosen to be blood with any remaining relative of hers, it would have been him.

What happened to Arno Victor Dorian after the events of Unity and Dead Kings ?
Following Elise's death at the end of Assassin's Creed Unity, Arno falls into a deep depression, finding little to live for.
He is also no longer part of the French Brotherhood.
In the DLC "Dead Kings", Arno is contacted by Marquis de Sade, who tasks him with finding a manuscript in the tomb of Louis IX.
Reluctantly, Arno agrees to this mission, and travels to Saint Denis to find the manuscript. During his search, Arno meets a young thief named Leon.
While the two work together, Leon's perspective on the world starts to break through Arno's grief, slowly showing him that there is more to live than the tragedies he's faced in his past.
What happened after Dead King is in the O.Bowden's novel.
I don't like his novels.
I will not summarise Oliver Bowden's novel.
But in the final chapters Arno found Elise's journal, and also Jennifer Scott Kenway's letters, where Elise requested him to seek unity for the two Orders.
It didn't go well obviously.
Arno rejoined the French assassins but we don't know when or how.
I have few theories:
Arno was extremely talented as an Assassin and his skills were too valuables
The Brotherhood forgive him after Germain's death and the rescue of the sword of Eden
The french assassins saw Napoleon's increasing influence over France and they need Arno to keep an eye on him. They became allies even though Napoleon's ideas were closer to those of the Templars.
Over the years, Arno earned the rank of Master Assassin and eventually the rank of Mentor (but he wasn't a bureaucrat as Mirabeau).
He took Leon under his wing and adopted him. At first Leon was wary of calling him "Father".
Arno presumably got married and had other children, as he is directly related to Callum Lynch, the protagonist of the Assassin's Creed movie*. Arno made a brief appearance in the movie.
He named one of his children Charles (or Charlotte) after his father and another François (or Françoise) after Monsieur de la Serre.
Did Arno and Ratonhnhaké:ton ever met ? (Reminder: Ratonhnhaké:ton is only twelve years older than Arno)
I think that Ratonhnhaké:ton became aware of Arno's actions during the French Revolution. They may have exchanged letters but they never met in person (and Connor had a big family to took care of and a very sweet daughter who was gifted by the spirits).
Did Arno find out who killed his father?
YES
He knew about Shay but he didn't hunt him down because revenge only leads to a bad path (and probably he thought that Shay was already dead which could be true).
Did Arno met Ethan Frye? Yes, it's possible due to the proximity of the French and english's brotherhood. Arno should be around 65/70 yo (if he was still alive).
We don't know when or how Arno died because Ubisoft never gave us answers (again)
I think that Arno passed away before the birth of the Frye twins, in 1847.
*I have a theory:
AC Unity should have been the gateway to a new present with Callum Lynch (and his ancestors like Aguilar de Nerha) as a new protagonist. But the movie has been a complete disaster so Ubisoft abandoned the idea.

Take of the day: I want to know what Jenny Scott Kenway is actually like. We only really see bits of her in Haytham's journal, and his perspective is so incomplete and kind of garbage honestly. I want to know what kind of female rage she holds when she has all that Kenway conviction, but received none of the same opportunities, freedoms, or respect as the men in her life. She was raised alone by her mother, presumably in poverty, after her father forgot she existed. Her younger brother got a private education and let in on the 'family secrets', while she was auctioned off into marriage as part of a business deal. She was kidnapped, sold to slavers, lived as a concubine, and was only rescued some twenty years later when Haytham just so happened to think twice about it? I would be beyond murderous if that was my life.
I want to see a lady who is just as cunning and oscillating as Haytham, but for all the right reasons. She'd be elegant and snide and absolutely vicious and I adore her.

I'm sure the best father in AC was Edward🥹
I'm sure he loves his children very much, and the way he called Haytham 'little rascal'— THIS IS SO CUTE AND HE IS SUCH AN AWESOME DAD
And the way he talks to Jenny at the end of Black Flag🤧

Edward kenway's sealskin burns the night he is killed. The wooden box catches fire slowly, unlike the seal fur that catches fire just as quickly as the life leaves Edward's eyes.
Jennifer Scott buried her skin deep in the cold ground. She wouldn't risk Birch or anyone to take it from her.
Decades later, finally free, she finds the open field leveled and covered in homes. She continues her walk, her blank face covering the screaming in her mind.
Haytham Kenway watches at 11 years old as Birch throws his coat into the fireplace. The man's last order, to stay alive and help the Order thrive, ringing in his ears.
He has never felt as free as he did when his son's blade pierced his skin.
Ratonhnhaké:ton/Connor Kenway tied his sealskin around his waist. His aunt's warning about keeping it close would stay with him and his descendants for decades to come.
No one has lost their skin since.

The mc is the third wife of Edward Kenway, in her previous life she knows him as a fictional character through his brother who is a fan of Assassin's Creed.
Now in a marriage of convenience with Edward, the mc finds himself with an often absent pirate husband and two children under his arms to care for.

An Inverse! Au where Desmond or whoever replaced him has Templar origins but, instead of "our" templars, the templars are the good guys and the assassins are evil? Like, Vieri De Pazzi goes on an arduous and wrought adventure to kill (I forgot Ezi's daddy's name rip)?
Since this is an Inverse AU, the Desmond of this AU would most definitely stayed with the Brotherhood and believed him to be the rightful mentor of the Brotherhood, making him the big bad and pretty much what can be considered as the final boss of the series.
So the main character would be either Lucy Stillman or Daniel Cross due to their connection with the Brotherhood and the Order.
Of course, Berg or Numbskull would be a good alternative main character to have a more acceptable way to infodump in the story because they’re new in the whole secret war thing.
The modern day plot would be the Order is now in small teams that have been driven underground thanks to the Brotherhood holding a Great Purge under the last mentor and now the Assassins are hunting for any survivors.
The Animus is the Templars last ditch effort to find a way to create a counterattack against the Assassins’ relentless hunting.
And to do that…
They have to ask help from the descendants of Templars of old who are also being hunted down by the Assassins because they know the Templars are developing the Animus and they have their own.
Unorganized Notes
The start of the Brotherhood’s corruption could be at any time but the three main possible triggers are: 1) From the start with Aya and Bayek being driven by their rage of Cleopatra’s betrayal, making the Hidden Ones much more vicious and more on the side of ‘destroy everything against us’, 2) Loki’s Isuness corrupting the Hidden Ones between Mirage and Valhalla and having long lasting effects even after his death or 3) Al Mualim raising Altaïr to be his heir and son, effectively turning him into the second Al Mualim
Personally I think 1 is the best option mostly so we can have this corruption start at the very core, becoming the foundation of the Assassins themselves.
Al Mualim used the Templars to get the Apple and used it to gain knowledge that would jumpstart the Brotherhood’s technological advancement. Altaïr continued what he started and drove the Brotherhood into the shadows because there’s an ongoing alliance of quite a lot of formidable foes that are trying to destroy Masyaf.
The Italian Brotherhood under Giovanni Auditore used the Medici family as their puppets exert control over the lands. The Pazzi conspiracy was meant to be a decoy to the real plan to destroy the Auditore family. This fails and most of the Pazzi die and Vieri de Pazzi is trained by Rodrigo Borgia to the ways of the Templar. His revenge is half successful in a way that he was able to cut off the strings between the Medici and the Brotherhood and deal a fatal blow to Giovanni (whether he lives or not is up to you). This, however, caused Ezio Auditore to take center stage and destroy the remaining Templars in a rain of blood and fire all the while Petruccio Auditore becomes the pope, effectively making the Church under Brotherhood control for as long as he reigns.
The Kenway drama unfolds in a different way with Haytham Kenway becoming a Templar to go against his father who has taken the mantle of mentor. Birch is now the guy who showed Haytham the errors of the Brotherhood’s way and this becomes a story of the Templars were able to destroy the Brotherhood in the colonies thanks to Shay (who, in this one, still defected because of Lisbon but less of a case of ‘people don’t communicate well in this game’ and more of a case of ‘it’s a shame but it cannot be helped’ mentality)
of course, this means Ratonhnhaké:ton becomes an Assassin for revenge because the burning of the village is still becomes of Washington and Charles Lee is a Templar but he still did as ordered (but, instead of hitting a kid hard, he orders him to run and shoots near his feet to force him to run). Ratonhnhaké:ton is trained by his grandfather in this one because Haytham couldn’t kill him and his aunt ends up being an Assassin who is mainly there to kill her own brother because he’s a ‘disgrace’)
Arno and Élise still have their forbidden love thing going on but, this time, it’s the Dorian family adopting Élise after her father is killed by an unknown ‘person’ (this turns out to be Jennifer Scott who was hunting Shay Cormac down). Charles Dorian dies because he tried to unite the Brotherhood and the Order. Eventually, it’s found out that he was killed by Bellec and Arno kills him out of revenge. Élise doesn’t die on this one but they don’t end up together because Arno wishes to remain in the Brotherhood to do what his father tried to do but Élise doesn’t believe unity can be accomplished considering how merciless the Brotherhood is. She’s proven right as even to his death, Arno was known as a great Assassin but his call for peace was deemed ‘poisoned’ because he loved a Templar Grand Master
The twins did everything they did the game but, more chaotic. Maxwell Roth absolutely joined their cause because he’s just like that and this is actually an AU where Jack the Ripper doesn’t happen because Jacob AND Roth nurtured his hatred and wrath into something more refined and much more… well stealthier. In exchange, London has an urban legend about how the Reaper would walk the streets of London during that time, and all he sees will never be seen ever again.
