How do you think the public perception of vale and marc changes over time in the fco au and how do they both feel about how both of their legacies are fully tied to each other now?

i think they end up being the beyoncé and jay z of the motorcycle world but sepang is the #lemonade moment because they’re both too obsessed (physically. emotionally. psychosexually.) to consider cheating on each other literally ever. also marc would physically kill them both on track

something i think about constantly is this one guy at the nursing home i used to work at whose hands and fingers had crumpled in on themselves, not as a fist but sorta like an accordian or a zigzag, where one set of joints was pulled into the palm but the tips of the fingers were pulled outwards

and the last time i was at my nana's, i noticed the tips of a couple of her fingers had something similar going on, where it looked like the tip of the middle was permantly pulled to the side, making it crooked at the end

and my mother of course with all the health problems as me has the same crooked fingers, all pulled in similar directions

all of them say that arthritis caused it

if i look at my own hands, the tip of my middle finger peels backwards, which i was told was a symptom of Ehlers-Danlos, hypermobility, where the fingers would overextend themselves. the knuckle of my ring ringer doesn't jut out as much either, and my pinkie fingers are typically stiff and lately, as i continue my treatment, it almost feels like they're getting pulled off to the side as well. ive even developed a small callous on the palm right below the pinkie, where the bone seems to press against (and theres no other reason i would have a callous there)

i also think about how arthritis is supposed to start in the extremities, the hands and feet, and again in my feet it's the pinkie toe that's crunched up and pulled to the side, and the pinkie toe which i first noticed was getting less crunched as i continue treatment

and it all just perfectly aligns with the muscle tension patterns characteristic of neander foot/morton's foot. the primary compensation pattern is turning the feet outwards (to make the big toe reach the ground properly), which overuses the fibularis muscles. the fibularis brevis muscle in particular connects to the beginning of the pinkie toe, like so

...so if that muscle is overtight, which toe is going to get pulled out of place first? the pinkie toe.

and all that would perfectly explain why overusing muscles can lead to arthritis, because that's what arthrtis is: muscles that get so, so, so overtight that the joints themselves can become damaged just from how hard the muscle is pulling on them, damage which accumulates overtime and gets progressively worse because, well, you can't just not use your muscles

and it's??? treatable??? even has a distinct cause???? im curing my own arthritis??????? hello???

I was listening to Infinite's theme just now and I got hit with an utter blast of nostalgia for the days before Forces got released, wherein everyone came up with all sorts of theories about who Infinite was and how he related to the Avatar and stuff. And of course the theory that Infinite was actually Tails and stuff, and I don't even know what else people came up with XD Most of my Tumblr experience at the time was really just that, haha!

man, to think Forces is going to turn 8 this year and 10 soon. Where has my life gone. I remember being here, a refugee from the cesspit of hatred that was Sonic Stadium, being happy to have found people hopeful for the game. I remember sharing the leaks - full of disappointment at the time, yeah, but people legit came to me, a nobody, to ask me stuff. Forces is literally the reason I found the Sonic fandom on Tumblr 🥺

My favorite theory of the time was that Infinite would break the 4th wall, DDLC style lol! It made sense. Oh, and that Infinite and the Avatar were long time friends! People shipped them so hard lmao!

Anyway, while Infinite's theme is an absolute banger, I feel the most nostalgia for Fist Bump because it's just so cheesy in that Sonic Heroes way, and genuine feelings for The Light of Hope which shut up is a good ballad

I highly recommend reading the entire article, but wow this is really all happening because the Omega technology SUCKS. It doesn't automatically close late inquiries unlike Longines & you can't properly see if the heel touches OOB or not on their cameras.

Also both FRG (84 seconds) & USAG (47 or 55 seconds) have zero case for the video evidence now. Romania claims Cecile only left after 46 seconds & it takes 15 seconds to get to the judges' table. I assume USAG is claiming those 46 seconds she left at is when she 1st verbally inquired & then she got to the judges table quick enough in 55 seconds to do a 2nd verbal inquiry. But neither of their claims matter because the Omega system already recorded the exact second Jordan's score was posted & the exact time Cecile's inquiry was recorded (64 seconds).

Finally USAG & FRG agreed to 3 bronze medals for Sabrina, Jordan, & Ana but IOC said no cause it would devalue Olympic medals. FIG asked for 2 bronze medals for just Jordan & Ana, but CAS said no cause it defeated the purpose of the appeal proving the inquiry was late & changing the results.
